Great people and delicious food, highly recommended!

Iranian Restaurant Persepolis in Berlin One of the advantages of Iranian restaurants compared to foreign restaurants is the availability of clean restrooms for handwashing. However, the shared utensils on the table, such as salt shakers, pepper shakers, sumac containers, etc., were anything but clean, and dirt was clearly visible. There were also no tissues (which is natural, since we were going to an Iranian restaurant and had expectations of Iran). The service from the waiters was good; bread, cheese, and fresh herbs were served before the meal, along with a very tasty green peppercorn mixture. We ordered the kebab Bakhtiari and Ash Reshte; the taste of the food was excellent, and the portion size was good. The atmosphere is reminiscent of old Iranian restaurants (in Germany, you shouldn't look for glitz and glamour). The tables and chairs outside, as well as the entrance area, were not clean, which could deter customers unless they have previously used the service there and know it is good. If I return to Berlin and the quality remains good, I will definitely go back and recommend it to others. ______________________________________ Restaurant Persepolis Berlin – for the second time! After our first good experience eating here, we decided to try new dishes from the menu. We ordered what is called "Vaziri" in Iran (a skewered chicken and a skewered kebab – pictured on the menu, but without the name!), along with Ash Reshteh and Sabzipolo Mahi M – pan-fried salmon fillet with Persian herb rice and a small mixed salad. The visual appearance of the dishes was excellent and looked exactly like the pictures on the menu – truly impressive. Unfortunately, the taste was absolutely disappointing: The chicken kebab was raw, rubbery, and undercooked. The kebab kubideh tasted extremely greasy. The herb rice had no flavor at all, only the appearance was right – and the rice wasn't Iranian rice at all. The fish was even worse: it tasted exclusively of a "fishy smell" – truly inedible and disgusting 🤢. The Ash Reshteh, unlike the first time, disappointed us – it didn't taste like Ash Reshteh at all, and something in it had a really unpleasant aftertaste. Unfortunately, this destroyed our trust in the restaurant, and I don't know if I'll be back next time. On the plus side, however, they serve food throughout their opening hours, not just at specific times – that's a real advantage. The waiter, however, seemed very rushed when taking our order. I don't understand why—the restaurant was completely empty, and after all, I'm the hungry one, so I should be in a hurry, not the waiter. Besides, since the waiter was always within my field of vision, I could have called him anyway as soon as I made my decision.

The food in the restaurant was incredibly delicious and highly recommended – the kitchen does a fantastic job! Unfortunately, the service and waitressing could be better. For example, the tablecloths weren't completely clean, and the very old cutlery desperately needed replacing. While the waiters are all very nice and friendly, they unfortunately don't seem particularly professional. With a little more attentive service, the restaurant could perfectly round out its high culinary standards.

The restaurant has potential but the food varies a lot, sometimes good, sometimes better, sometimes a little dirty and the service was very nice but it's a shame that the quality has generally lost some of its originality 😢

Ordered from Persepolis Berlin through Uber Eats and was really impressed with the quality. The kubideh was absolutely delicious - perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. What really stood out was the generous portion size - definitely great value for money. The food arrived in good condition and still warm. Would definitely order from here again and recommend to anyone craving authentic Persian cuisine in Berlin.

Das beste Persisches Essen der Stadt! I am half Iranian and I always come here when I am craving Iranian food. The full package: fresh bread from the bread oven, duke in a big glass, vegetarian osh reshta, kebabs rice & most, and a tv with fun Iranian media playing. The best for Iranian food! Bakery/shop has special stuff tonlose bowtie cookies!😊

It's a good place, the noodle soup is delicious, the yogurt is also delicious, but unfortunately the bean pilaf with its meat seemed to be left out and my friend and I felt sick.

The kubideh is truly delicious and perhaps the best you'll find in Berlin! The service was also very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that wasn't good was the Persian ice cream (bastani). The faludeh, on the other hand, is okay, though not outstanding.

The quality of the food has deteriorated drastically. We ordered three types of kebab: the Koobideh (minced meat kebab) was terrible, as was the other kebab whose name I can’t recall now. The Djudje (chicken kebab) was better, so we ended up eating only that. This was the second time in last two months that the quality was bad. The food used to be much better in the past. No longer recommended.

I don't recommend it. Waitress was not trained, which made food taste even worse.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was poor — the waiter had an aggressive attitude and didn’t respond respectfully to questions. I simply wanted one skewer of chicken and one of barg (beef fillet) with rice, but was told that I’d have to pay for two full portions (each with rice), because they don’t offer mixed plates. The food quality was also very low. The barg was undercooked and had a strange smell, and the chicken tasted bad — I think they used thigh meat, which wasn’t pleasant at all. When we wanted to pay, the first thing the waiter did was ask us to pay in cash, in a pushy tone. When we said we didn’t have cash, she seemed shocked and said, “Why not?!” Eventually, she agreed to let us pay by card. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Even one star feels too much.

We were at your place yesterday and enjoyed a truly delicious meal – it was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and extremely polite, for which I am very grateful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful colors and traditional Persian music. Unfortunately, a few tables away were three men who were loudly telling their stories – stories that were of no interest to anyone else and seemed to be deliberately provoking. The worst part was that they proudly talked about being "real Tehranis," acting "smart," and boasting about embarrassing people from other cities. I was about to react to their rude behavior, but my companion stopped me and simply said, "Let them. They're just a couple of old show-offs fooling each other – let them have their fun." I hope this text reaches the restaurant owner – perhaps a small notice could be posted somewhere in the restaurant: "Showing off allowed, racism prohibited."

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. The quality of the food was very low and the taste was not acceptable. The environment of the restaurant was not clean and it seemed that hygiene and cleanliness were not paid attention to. This is an amazing persian restaurant. The food is amazing and of high quality. Service is excellent.

1. There was hair in the Ash Reshteh! This is absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. 2. The waiters only serve tables where their friends or acquaintances are sitting. You have to call them several times to get them to come to the table. 3. A waitress addresses the guests as “brother”!!! This is completely unprofessional and rude. 4. We asked about desserts and were told they were available. After 20 minutes of waiting, my Italian guests and I asked why dessert hadn't been served yet. Surprisingly, we were then informed that there were no more desserts! So we were kept waiting for nothing. 5. Despite making a reservation and requesting a good table for my special guest, our reservation was not honored. We had to wait until we were even assigned a table. 6. The music was extremely loud, forcing us to speak loudly to each other. + These experiences were very disappointing and greatly worsened my opinion of this restaurant. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes improvements.

A MUST for anyone who wants to experience Persian cuisine and hospitality

I recently ordered Kabab Kubideh from this Iranian restaurant, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing! Compared to many other places I’ve tried, this one was really tasty. The food arrived warm, with perfectly cooked, fluffy rice and two generously sized kabab skewers. The meat was flavorful, and had the authentic Persian taste that I’ve been looking for. Alongside, they provided Persian bread, fresh herbs, onions, chili, olives, radish, and a bit of feta and a butter which made the meal even more enjoyable. As a Persian, I can confidently say that this Kabab Kubideh is one of the best I’ve had in Berlin. I truly hope the quality stays this great because I will definitely be ordering more!

I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone because the food is not fresh and especially the staff there is not well behaved

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant and there are a few points I would like to point out. At first the kebab was tough and had an unpleasant smell, as if the meat wasn't fresh. But the worst was the behavior of the waitresses, which really made me feel a sense of racism. The way we were treated was extremely rude and this experience was very negative for us. It will be the last time and I will not recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner at Persepolis today. You can't complain about the kitchen. It was very tasty and the portions were plentiful. If you don't get enough, you've done something wrong. Unfortunately I can't give it 5 stars because I found the friendliness a bit lacking and I wasn't entirely impressed by the ambience. But the most important thing is that the food is really very good and I would come back if I was in Berlin.

We ordered Ghormeh-sabzi, Fesenjoon, Baghalipolo mahicheh. Ghormeh sabzi and Fesenjoon were terrible. They were big bowls of tasteless water of something. Also I ordered Kashke-bademjan, it had a watery pintch of kashk on it. The black tea served in big glasses, not tea-cups. It was so embarassing, as I was with my non-Iranian friends. Although the place was full. I think most of the people order Grill disches and kebabs, probably they would be better. Also, decoration, furnitures and dishes were quite disappointing. If the rating is not fake, probably the good rates were for long time ago.

i ordered Ghorme sabzi tonight at perspolis restaurant.they brought me a bowl of watery food .when i complained about it,they said we will follow up with the kitchen but i got no feedback .today was the first time and the last time for me there.

Great food! I’ve been coming here countless times, especially for the good prices. However, tonight I had a bit of an uncomfortable interaction with the guy behind the counter. I get that speaking Persian can create a friendly vibe, and I’m all for a good joke. But I don’t understand why you got upset when I responded with a joke of my own? It’s confusing when you joke with me, laugh, and then suddenly get offended when the humor is returned. I was born and raised in Iran, so I’m quite familiar with speaking Persian. No need to give me a lesson, brother! 😁

I ordered some dates as a side of tea, which the price was more than one box of date, so expensive.

I had a vegetarian option which was tasty and plentiful. They seemed to be short staffed and they need to improve a bit on their cleaning of the tables. Also, if you’re bothered by cigarette smoke, people smoke in the outside section and the smell does penetrate the seating inside. I would eat here again as my meal was good.

Food was great and service was awesome.we had the appetizer pack. My wife had koobideh and I had the baghalipolo with mahiche both were very well prepared and the taste was fabulous. Only thing I didn't like was the dolmah which was served from canned dolmeh which does not contain any meet.

I ordered Kebab and Gheime via Uber eats. Gheime led to severe food poisoning that I‘m still recovering from.

As an Iranian I should say that I have one of my best Persian foods in this restaurant. Also the vibe is so positive, it feels like being back to Iran. I want to also say a special thanks to Meysam the staff of Persepolis Restaurant.

The food was very, very tasty, well seasoned and, above all, the cellar was extremely friendly. A dish that was ordered incorrectly (I can't remember whether the order was placed incorrectly or how the misunderstanding arose) was immediately taken back and replaced with something else. The wrong order was not bonked. Thank you for this great service, which is no longer a given these days, and the very good food. We'd love to come back.

We ordered Essan and took it with us, the minced skewer smelled of rotten meat and was inedible. The fish also smelled bad. Apparently the chef doesn't worry about quality and hygiene. The food didn't seem to have been prepared with fresh fish or meat. Overall very disappointing as we ordered a lot of food that cost quite a bit. We couldn't complain to the restaurant right away because we had taken the food home with us.

I'm from Iran and what I'm saying is my experience as a person who also has been in other persian restaurants in Berlin. In this restaurant the quality of foods didn't satisfy us. We ordered four different foods but unfortunately non of them was good enough, even the rice. They seriously need to improve their quality.

The ladies at the service were very rude and had poor communication. The food was disastrous! The minced lamb skewer was very soggy and tasteless. Absolutely no taste of Persian food or hospitality!

Very bad restaurant. Firstly, the service is not hospitable, you are not greeted or helped. Let us know several times that you want to order something and you are simply ignored. In addition, the food is tasteless and I am especially talking about the lamb that tastes like sponge and is soaked in oil. Tomatoes completely burned. They couldn't serve a simple hamburger and fries for the children because, according to her, they were too busy for that. I used to always buy food from this restaurant , but something like nose hair in my dudje kabab made me vomit , and it was the first time in my life that i saw chicken in Ash reshte !!! And paid almost 29 euros for this food ! ( no need to tell an iranian person that ashe reshte is vegetarian and without meat, I know about that and how can the hair be from me when i just opened the package i saw it ! ) the way that your answering to your customers tells everything ✌🏽

Super slecht restaurant. Ten eerste is de bediening niet gastvriendelijk je word niet gegroet noch geholpen. Meerdere malen laten weten dat je iets wilt bestellen en je word gewoon genegeerd. Daarnaast is t eten smaakloos en dan heb ik t vooral over de lambsvlees die naar spons smaak en doordrenkt van de olie. Tomaten volledig aangebrand. Simpele hamburger met patat konden ze niet serveren voor de kinderen omdat ze t volgens haar te druk hadden hiervoor. Personeel blijft continue duits praten terwijl we meerdere malen laten weten dat we geen duits spreken.
