Restaurant & Supermarkt Persepolis in Berlin

The food was cheap, the waiter was willing to make sure I enjoyed my meal, great food, just a great restaurant!

I placed an order for two different dishes, and this is the bread that was provided. This is quite unprofessional and disrespectful. The food also tastes very bad.

Great food! I’ve been coming here countless times, especially for the good prices. However, tonight I had a bit of an uncomfortable interaction with the guy behind the counter. I get that speaking Persian can create a friendly vibe, and I’m all for a good joke. But I don’t understand why you got upset when I responded with a joke of my own? It’s confusing when you joke with me, laugh, and then suddenly get offended when the humor is returned. I was born and raised in Iran, so I’m quite familiar with speaking Persian. No need to give me a lesson, brother! 😁

The staff are super polite and helpful. The food is also amazing. They delivered the food so fast and it was still warm. Recommended

I ordered some dates as a side of tea, which the price was more than one box of date, so expensive.

I had a vegetarian option which was tasty and plentiful. They seemed to be short staffed and they need to improve a bit on their cleaning of the tables. Also, if you’re bothered by cigarette smoke, people smoke in the outside section and the smell does penetrate the seating inside. I would eat here again as my meal was good.

This is a quite decent Persian restaurant. We were a group in f people and the service was really good. The staff were also very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, I can’t speak of prices as we were invited. The appetizers are pretty good and the food was also decent.

Food was great and service was awesome.we had the appetizer pack. My wife had koobideh and I had the baghalipolo with mahiche both were very well prepared and the taste was fabulous. Only thing I didn't like was the dolmah which was served from canned dolmeh which does not contain any meet.

I ordered Kebab and Gheime via Uber eats. Gheime led to severe food poisoning that I‘m still recovering from.

As an Iranian I should say that I have one of my best Persian foods in this restaurant. Also the vibe is so positive, it feels like being back to Iran. I want to also say a special thanks to Meysam the staff of Persepolis Restaurant.

We ordered Essan and took it with us, the minced skewer smelled of rotten meat and was inedible. The fish also smelled bad. Apparently the chef doesn't worry about quality and hygiene. The food didn't seem to have been prepared with fresh fish or meat. Overall very disappointing as we ordered a lot of food that cost quite a bit. We couldn't complain to the restaurant right away because we had taken the food home with us.

The food was very, very tasty, well seasoned and, above all, the cellar was extremely friendly. A dish that was ordered incorrectly (I can't remember whether the order was placed incorrectly or how the misunderstanding arose) was immediately taken back and replaced with something else. The wrong order was not bonked. Thank you for this great service, which is no longer a given these days, and the very good food. We'd love to come back.

I'm from Iran and what I'm saying is my experience as a person who also has been in other persian restaurants in Berlin. In this restaurant the quality of foods didn't satisfy us. We ordered four different foods but unfortunately non of them was good enough, even the rice. They seriously need to improve their quality.

It's not the most authentic Persian food you can get however they are very persistent on having good quality food and nice vibe. Recommended!

The food was very disappointing. There was a hair in my friend’s Soltani Kebab. Staff was rude and not at all friendly. We will never visit this restaurant again.

Super slecht restaurant. Ten eerste is de bediening niet gastvriendelijk je word niet gegroet noch geholpen. Meerdere malen laten weten dat je iets wilt bestellen en je word gewoon genegeerd. Daarnaast is t eten smaakloos en dan heb ik t vooral over de lambsvlees die naar spons smaak en doordrenkt van de olie. Tomaten volledig aangebrand. Simpele hamburger met patat konden ze niet serveren voor de kinderen omdat ze t volgens haar te druk hadden hiervoor. Personeel blijft continue duits praten terwijl we meerdere malen laten weten dat we geen duits spreken.

I used to always buy food from this restaurant , but something like nose hair in my dudje kabab made me vomit , and it was the first time in my life that i saw chicken in Ash reshte !!! And paid almost 29 euros for this food ! ( no need to tell an iranian person that ashe reshte is vegetarian and without meat, I know about that and how can the hair be from me when i just opened the package i saw it ! ) the way that your answering to your customers tells everything ✌🏽

Very bad restaurant. Firstly, the service is not hospitable, you are not greeted or helped. Let us know several times that you want to order something and you are simply ignored. In addition, the food is tasteless and I am especially talking about the lamb that tastes like sponge and is soaked in oil. Tomatoes completely burned. They couldn't serve a simple hamburger and fries for the children because, according to her, they were too busy for that. Staff continues to speak German even though we let them know several times that we do not speak German.

The ladies at the service were very rude and had poor communication. The food was disastrous! The minced lamb skewer was very soggy and tasteless. Absolutely no taste of Persian food or hospitality!

Their services and foods are very nice and the prices are reasonable based on the services you receive.

My Afghan partner and I visited the restaurant for the first time. The service was very attentive and friendly, and also spoke great German. We shared the grill plate for 2 people (€39). In addition to grilled specialties, there was a salad plate, flatbread and saffron rice. The food was rich, authentic and delicious, the rest of the grill was packed for us to take away. All in all a great and recommendable experience.

Netter kommunikativer Kellner und der schnellste Service, den man sich vorstellen kann. Leider lag in meinem Fesenjan mit Knochenkeule, bin es anders gewohnt. Der Lammhackspieß war fettig. Dazu gab es den Kräuterteller und Joghurt-Sauce und Tee-Sorten.

Bad taste and poor quality of food. Dirty cutlery. Inadequate behaviour. Everything was bad. Eating once in this restaurant is enough to forget it forever. After eating, you should eat something else to change the bad taste in your mouth. Of course, if you can eat your food to the end. I don't recommend it at all.

Supermarkt was OK, the prices was logical, the behavior of Workers was friendly and accepable, the habe nice things to sell and I would like to go there again. I have no idea about Restaurant but the Supermarkt is good.

The vegetarian rice dishes are amazing and the yogurt dips are to die for. Try the rice with dates lentils and aubergine. And don't miss the olives.

I recommend kebab and delicious bread.

We ordered kubideh and it was the worst food I ever had in my life! The rice was not Iranian and smelled bad; likely from Thailand! Kebab kubideh , I really do not know and can not understand from what it was made! No taste of meat, or fat, when I cut it water came out!! It was disgusting and I regret so much to go there and waste money! Worst ever! The bread was not cooked!

Heute Abend haben wir mega gut im Persepolis gegessen! Schon als wir das Restaurant betraten wurden wir super freundlich empfangen. Wir durften unseren Platz aussuchen. Sofort würden wir bedient obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Wir haben unsere Speisen ausgesucht und zusätzlich wurden uns alle ausgesuchten Speisen noch einmal ausführlich erklärt. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Alles hat super lecker geschmeckt, wir haben es sehr genossen. Wäre ich nicht als Tourist in Berlin, so wäre dies sicher ein Stammlokal von mir. Vielen Dank noch einmal, wenn wir wieder in Berlin sind, so kommen wir sicher wieder vorbei.

The food used to be very good but the last time I was there it has really disappointed me. The rice should have a saffron-ish taste but it was mostly turmeric!! Service is awful there, you should wait long for the waiter to appear and even longer for it to be taken care of. Unfortunately some of the waiters can't distinguish the line between being fun and rude!

This Persian restaurant in Berlin is one of the best I have ever visited. The atmosphere is very authentic and you can see Iranian elements everywhere. The design and decoration are also very impressive. The food was amazing. We ordered a dish for three people, with different kinds of kebabs: kubideh, barg, bareh and jujeh. We also had a Mirzaghasemi as an appetizer, which was delicious. The staff were friendly, courteous and quick. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Persian cuisine.

Sehr guter laden, leckeres Essen und guter Service! Die Kebabs, Ash-e-Reshteh und Aubergine waren köstlich! Die Kellnerin war super nett, auch der Rest des Personals war super freundlich. Die Portionen waren wie üblich riesig, so das man definitiv gesättigt nach Hause fährt;-) der Tee zum Schluss war auch super. Kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir waren zu mehreren, bekamen gleich einen Tisch zugewiesen. Freundliches Personal. Eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Mein Gericht war vegetarisch, viel Reis wenig Gemüse.

I got disappointed when I ordered to take away a desert and they simply rejected my request, and offered me another type of sweet. When I asked for that one, they again rejected me for the second time, because they were just busy and didn’t have time to take it from shelves and pack for me! Just like that! Not customer friendly at all!

One of the famous Iranian restaurant in Berlin. You can enjoy delicious and varied Iranian food here. I am satisfied with the quality of the food tested in this restaurant and recommend it to others. Especially its grills (Kebab kubideh). You can also find many stews and special drink(dough) here . The staff are very polite and friendly. The chef is very skilful. Also, there is a traditional supermarket with Iranian sweetie and lot of raw material of Iranian foods. Iranians can find some nostalgic things there.

It was our first time going to this restaurant, you could feel the real Iranian restaurant vibe and their food tasted like home. The staff are super friendly with very good manners while keeping polite in every speech. We had koobide kabab, gheymeh, zereshk polo and also ghorme sabzi and I have to say all of these foods were satisfyingly good. The prices are fair and you will get a better service.

Dieses Restaurant ist wunderbar. Ich habe 2 Jahre lang in Iran gelebt wo ich sehr viel gegessen habe. Dieses Restaurant ist das beste und authentischstes Iranische Restaurant, das ich in Europa besucht habe. Das Fleisch war so zart und saftig wie in Iran und der Reis war wieder Reis in Iran, perfekt. Die Stimmung war wunderbar, mit Iranischen Großfamilien und viele andere nette Menschen. Eine Person war sogar so nett uns etwas von ihrem Essen zu geben(ohne dass wir sie gefragt haben), da sie bemerkten das wir das gleiche Gericht haben wollten, es aber ausverkauft war. Der service war auch unglaublich herzlich, willkommenen und Effizient. Ich fühlte mich wie zurück in Persien. Es war ein Wunderschönes Erlebnis und die 50 min fahrt für uns alles wert. Ich würde jeder Person dieses Restaurant stark empfehlen

Nach der Vorspeise aufs Haus gab's einen leckeren Lammspiess und Taboulli. Wir hatten sehr kurzfristig online reserviert. Trotzdem klappte es mit einem Tisch. Immerhin war es ein Freitag Abend und das Lokal voll.

The restaurant is athentic Persian. The food was perfect. The barg kabab was tender. The knife was reasonable like a steak knife. The butter was served separate, so one has the option of a lower fat rice. Sabzi was fresh. The kubideh was prepaired perfect.
