Das Essen war wirklich erstklassig (10/10) und die Atmosphäre großartig. Der Service hingegen war leider unglaublich langsam. Nachdem ich 20 Minuten gewartet hatte, ging ich selbst zu einem Mitarbeiter, der sich angeregt mit Kollegen unterhielt. Obwohl es sehr ruhig war, merkte man deutlich, dass sie nicht wirklich gut gelaunt waren. Schade, denn die Küche ist fantastisch!

Ein Lokal mit herzlicher Atmosphäre und leckerem Essen mit originellen Akzenten, aber einer Speisekarte, die etwas eintönig ist und wenig Dessertauswahl bietet. Erfahreneres Personal wäre wünschenswert. Wir waren erneut dort und es war wieder sehr angenehm. Ich stimme jedoch zu, dass ein paar Gramm mehr auf den Tellern perfekt wären.

Waren gerade eben während unseres Urlaubs dort essen und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr leckere Fleischgerichte, Preis-Leistung gut und freundliche Bedienungen. Wir können das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen 👍🏻

Wir waren heute wieder in der Stiftsklause in Prüm essen – und wie immer war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir kennen das Restaurant schon seit vielen Jahren und sind wirklich jedes Mal aufs Neue hellauf begeistert. Für uns gibt es hier das beste Steak in der ganzen Umgebung. Die Qualität des Fleisches, der perfekte Garpunkt und der großartige Geschmack sprechen einfach für sich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Erfahrung und Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Inhaber Salah. Er ist stets ausgesprochen freundlich und empfängt seine Gäste herzlich und familiär. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Auch das gesamte Service-Team arbeitet auf absolutem Top-Niveau. Die Bedienungen sind aufmerksam, professionell und dabei immer freundlich. Während des gesamten Aufenthalts fühlt man sich bestens betreut. Die Einrichtung ist ebenfalls sehr ansprechend – gemütlich, stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das gesamte Ambiente trägt dazu bei, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt und gerne wiederkommt. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener Restaurantbesuch mit hervorragendem Essen, tollem Service und familiärer Atmosphäre. Von uns ganz klar: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – fünf Sterne!

Wir hatten uns sehr auf ein gutes Essen gefreut und wurden leider sehr enttäuscht.Das Fleisch war extrem viel paniert,sodass die Panade sofort nach dem Anschneiden schon abgefallen ist.Auch war die Qualität vom Fleisch nicht sehr gut.Der Salat war auch nicht frisch. Das war viel zu teuer für das was es war.Wir haben schon besser in einer Kantine gegessen. Fazit:Nie wieder

Durchaus gut! Bei der Suppe würde ich bevorzugen, wenn das Wurzelgemüse etwas kleiner geschnitten wäre (1cm dicke Möhrenscheiben sind etwas wuchtig). Außerdem empfand ich die Vorspeisen als recht teuer im Vergleich zur Portionsgröße (hatten noch das Vitello Tonnato). Bei den Hauptspeisen war alles hervorragend!

Wir kehrten dort zum Abendessen ein, und obwohl Wochenende war, gab es viele freie Plätze, sodass unsere Gerichte recht schnell zubereitet wurden. Das Essen war köstlich und preiswert – mehr kann man sich von einem Restaurant nicht wünschen, es sei denn, man hat die falsche Wahl getroffen oder zu hohe Erwartungen. Der Service war ebenfalls tadellos, und die außergewöhnliche Schönheit einer der Angestellten ist erwähnenswert. Aber dieses Restaurant ist aus mehr als nur diesem Grund einen Besuch wert! 😉

Eine Wunderschöne Kirche...Amen ⛪️

Wenn man Stiftsklause liest denkt man an gute deutsche bürgerliche Küche. So dachten wir auch. Wir wurden alle eines besseren belehrt. Italienische Küche hat der Koch drauf! Fusionsküche Deutsch-Japanisch anhand des See-Saiblings wurde bewiesen. Echter Cesar Salat. Eines der besten Tartare wurde serviert. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

The veal schnitzel here was so good I almost wanted to ask for a second... best of the entire holiday! 🍽️ The staff were busy with a large group, but as soon as the food was on the table, that was immediately forgotten. A cozy place, absolutely recommended!

Nice place to eat, but the food itself wasn't anything special for the price they charged. They didn't really appreciate us asking for mayonnaise with the fries, and then we got a small container for the four of us, so unfortunately, we had to ask for more... 🫣

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, we had to wait over half an hour for the main course, while five tables that had arrived after us already received their food. While we were waiting, we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. At neighboring tables, too, one or two things were "forgotten." When we asked, the simple answer was that it was just very busy. It could be better...

Attentive and fast service for truly delicious ice cream specialties. There's always something going on at the roundabout, where you can admire vintage and classic cars, hot rods, and the latest electric vehicles. In between, the view of the abbey shimmering red and orange against the constantly changing cloudscape is captivating. Ideal for a stopover during your Eifel tour.

We went out to dinner with our son today after a crazy day. It was truly our highlight. Very friendly staff, very, very good food, and we really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. Oh, and we had dinner with a delicious dessert.

Let's just say that all in all I ate well, peacefully.

The service was a bit slow, but friendly. The steak tartare appetizer was very tasty. Highly recommended. I would serve the piccate Milanese with pasta rather than rice. It was delicious. But I expected the chicken with a crispy coating. Delicious white wine and good coffee.

The food was very tasty, my wife and I both ate a rump steak, it didn't take long and it arrived as requested, we are tourists and can only recommend this restaurant, greetings from Krefeld

Vegetarians can also enjoy good food here. We had a vegetarian crispy volcano roll and a beef soup – both were very good! We sat in the shade on the terrace and felt very comfortable.

The waiters need to learn to take orders while clearing the table! But if the waiters come in three or four times and then expect to get more money for drinks? They also need to learn to speed up.

Great food and great beer. Been here a few times and the food is good no matter what you get. The veal schnitzel and chicken piccata are excellent entrees to get. Wash it down with a half liter of Benediktiner makes for a great dinner. Highly recommend this place.

We spontaneously stopped by here on the way home from a holiday weekend in the Eifel. In a large group we got a place in the separate room. Even without a reservation, all 13 people got their food almost at the same time, very good. The drinks were delivered quickly and our waitress took enough time with the children so that they could order everything themselves. The food was very tasty, just the children's portion of pasta sauce was too much for the 3 year old. Thank you very much again, dear waitress, for giving us half your lunch break.

Very nice location with upscale modern facilities. All dishes were freshly prepared, all ingredients were fresh and of great quality. Value for money is right. Service/staff very friendly and attentive. Our dog was welcome. We'd love to come back.

... well, perhaps comparatively a good restaurant for Prüm's gastronomy. The menu was surprisingly short, which I found to be very good. It's better to offer less good things than a lot of average. My dish (beef tartare good, Wiener schnitzel heavy on salt), visually ok but the taste was rather mediocre (schnitzel), the salad served with it was already past its prime. Unfortunately there was no lukewarm potato salad (like the original in Vienna), only the obligatory fries. Therefore, my tip to the kitchen is to adapt to the original and offer fries as an option. My wife was very impressed with the “smoked celeriac strudel”. The portions were completely sufficient to fill you up. The service (two very young ladies) was polite and unobtrusive, rather too unobtrusive, because despite the empty glasses/jugs they didn't ask if they could bring additional drinks. On the other hand, the clearing up was quick and easy, as soon as the plate was finished. There would have been a bit of a time gap. All in all, the ladies didn't seem to have been in this "business" for long. The furniture is rather sober, the restaurant/toilets are clean and tidy, but ultimately I lacked the atmosphere to really feel comfortable there. The room temperature was rather modest, so I was glad I had put on an extra thick sweater over my cotton shirt. Conclusion: This restaurant is recommended for all people who don't mind my critical points listed above.

We ate here two evenings in a row. Overall, the food was good, had a creative twist and was really nicely presented. A great alternative, especially for vegetarians, to the good home-style cuisine that is usually the case in Prüm. What we didn't like so much was the somewhat "loveless" service. We were served quickly and attentively, but there was no smile or recommendations about the choice of food, but there was a sloppy answer. In addition, people asked how they would like the steak, but what came next had nothing to do with medium English. The steak was almost cooked through and that simply shouldn't happen at that price. Overall, both visits were well-rounded and we would come back.

Menu looks better than it is Salad was already old and soggy after complaining we were skillfully ignored so I would have expected more from a nice restaurant neither was anything deducted from the price nor was there an apology

The restaurant is in the center of town and has a very nice terrace. The service is very nice and quick. The food was tasty and the plates were lovingly prepared. We'd love to come back.

In my opinion, the Stiftsklause's cuisine is the best in Prüm. The menu is clear, indicating that fresh foods are used here. And you can taste it. I had tomato with mozzarella as a starter. That was excellent. The tagliarini with tomato sauce were also very tasty. The others in the group were also very happy. The real Wiener Schnitzel is recommended. The hake was also delicious. The service staff is friendly and competent. The ambience is pleasant. The price level is slightly higher than that of the competitors and that's perfectly fine because the price-performance ratio is excellent here. In summer there is a lovely outdoor terrace.

Just opposite the prum basilica church. Great view. The foods were really delicious, especially the “Vegetarische Crispy Volcano Roll, Gurke, Daikon und Teriyaki Sauce “. The service can be improved, for instance, they can provide our dog some water to drink.

We only had a latte here and therefore can't say anything about the kitchen. The staff and ambience were harmonious.

Netter Service, schöne Lage. ABER Übelriechendes Kalbsschnitzel (Wiener). Anfangs meinte die Bedienung, Kalb würde so riechen. Nach 2 Nachfrage wurde mir ein neues Schnitzel serviert. Dies war okay. Angeblich wurden die Schnitzel Morgens paniert. Das heisst aber nicht dass es kein altes Fleisch war. Habe immer noch den Geruch nach Stunden in der Nase. Und dies bei einem Preis von 26,5 Euro.

Leuk terras met uitzicht op het plein. Vriendelijke bediening. We aten cordonblue met frites en sla. Het vlees smaakte wat flauw, het overige was dik in orde.

Everything is nice but the prices are outrageous for small portions. Water, apple spritzer, vitelo tornato and beef tartare for 42 euros.

Delicious culinary highlights in a crossover of classic and modern cuisine. Price performance is perfectly fine and the service was friendly and courteous. We went on a recommendation and each had a starter and a main course. If you're up for dessert, you might want to skip the starter or main course because the portions, at least for us, didn't allow for dessert.

Very tasty meal! Atmosphere is certainly good. But as a non-smoker you have to make do with smokers on the terrace.

Absolutely excellent quality of food and great service. The location with a view of the Prüm Abbey Church is of course unbeatable. The spontaneous exit from the motorway (there are very few rest stops in the region) was definitely more than worth it!

Price/quality is not in proportion. Very simple food for a top price.

Ein schöner Platz, mit großen Schirmen. Leider wird das Pils nicht bis zum Füllstrich gefüllt, auch als der Schaum zusammen gefallen war. Auch beim 2. Pils, sogar noch weniger eingefüllt. Das ist sehr schade, das ist Betrug am Kunden, und das Gegenüber der Kirche! In Übrigen zählt der Schaum nicht zur befüllten Menge.

A really nice end to our trip should be through Prüm again. This included a lovely dinner, which we had here at the center in this well-kept restaurant. We felt very comfortable!
