I was a guest on a Friday evening, at the beginning of September 2024. I was able to get a table (1 person) without a reservation. The menu went far beyond Baltic Sea fish - game and lamb etc. Tuna tartare and broiled. Scallops were very good. The open wines are moderate, but overpriced. The bottle of water was put in a cooler and the waitress ignored it as the evening progressed. In addition, the service liked to walk short distances, which led to contact - extremely unpleasant! Nevertheless, the atmosphere can be described as pleasant.

The caramelized beetroot tartare, the pike perch, the lamb, the chili banana - a dream and a jelly in Zingst am Darss. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and thanks to the team

Everything perfect! Rarely have I experienced such excellent service, the ambience is beautiful and modern, the food is bomb! Absolute recommendation, if you haven't eaten here when you're in Zingst and the surrounding area, you've definitely missed something!

A very great restaurant. Location and ambience are great. The service is very friendly and extremely professional. The food is a bit too sweet and floral for us. There were three of us and we had the salmon burger, salmon fillet in banana/honey sauce and fillet tips with herb salad. Too much sweetness for our taste, including lavender etc. It felt a bit forced and different. Unfortunately not our taste. But that is just one opinion among many. Many other guests really enjoyed their meal here. So my tip is to reserve a table and try it out for yourself.

Friendly welcome, special food. I had informed the waitress that I needed gluten free food and was pleased with her large selection. Unfortunately my starter wasn't gluten-free as ordered. Luckily I noticed it. The error was fixed quickly and friendly. But it would be nice if people paid more attention to something like this in the future, because it can be really problematic for allergy sufferers. All in all it was a lovely evening and I would recommend this restaurant.

The beef burger was delicious, as were the beef fillet tips and the goat cheese gratin. I mean "tasty", not phenomenal! In terms of price, the demands and reality differ somewhat! 25 euros for a small burger with about 180g patty, braised onions, cheddar, lettuce and barbecue sauce - people!! Bottom line, tasty but too expensive! Service, friendly and impeccable!

We were there on a recommendation. The waitress introduced herself (Ka...) - a great idea in itself, but unfortunately she didn't accompany us through the evening; since the criticism of the main course, she was only seen for billing purposes. The menu started with the tuna tartare, very tasty and plentiful! The main course of beef fillet tips should be served with wild herb salad. It was a simple salad mix. There was a “sauce” with the lamb that was in no way inferior to an industrial sauce in terms of taste and texture. When the other service person asked about our satisfaction, she got our honest answer. She was visibly anxious to pass on our criticism and was sent to us with the information that the wild herbs had probably run out and the sauce for the lamb had not been reduced... An apology from the kitchen would have been the bare minimum here! Unfortunately, the impression of arrogance and ignorance remains in the memory, which even the excellent creme brulé could not save.

Refined dishes, matching long drinks and other drinks, a specially assigned friendly and attentive waitress with good recommendations. Quiet, well-kept ambience with good, subtle music. I thanked the chefs goodbye.

We've eaten here several times over 3 years, this time I was a little disappointed with the food, I had a salad with caramelized walnuts and chickpeas, it wasn't bad but it didn't blow me away, my friends had goat cheese gratin as a starter 👍👍 Burgers and fish were thrilled, maybe I should have chosen something else, everything else was great, the aperitif was great, the service was great and the ambience was super nice and stylish. We will come again next year.

Wir waren heute zum zweiten mal im Sorgenfre. Es wird immer noch viel gewollt, aber die PS werden nicht wirklich auf die Straße gebracht. Das Ambiente ist schön und der Service ist sehr freundlich, charmant und aufmerksam. Der Inhaber aber stolziert durch sein Restaurant und lässt keinen Zweifel daran, dass er der Chef ist. Aber er schaut keinem einzigen Gast ins Auge, begrüßt niemanden, fragt nicht, wie es dem Gast geht und ob er sich wohl fühlt oder ob es schmeckt. Dadurch wird der Gast zum Statisten und ist nicht mehr das, wovon ein Restaurant lebt - nämlich genau davon, von seinem Gast. Meine Tochter hatte den Burger aus Rindfleisch. Kein schlechter Burger, aber die Buns waren pupetrocken. Die Süßkartoffel Pommes waren sehr gut. Diese knusprig hinzubekommen, ist eine Kunst, die hier beherrscht wird. Aber 25 € sind für das Gebotene deutlich zu teuer. Und ein Burger gehört, wenn er keine besonderen Extras anbietet, sonder einfach nur ein einigermaßen solider Burger ist, nicht in ein Restaurant mit diesem Anspruch. Ich selbst habe mir das teuerste Gericht auf der Karte ausgesucht: das Rinderfilet. Alle Komponenten auf dem Teller waren für sich genommen gut. Aber das Zusammenspiel der einzelnen Elemente war - gelinde gesagt - eher misslungen. Warum? Die Rotweinschalotten waren lecker karamelisiert und süß. Die Portweinreduktion war technisch gut zubereitet und demgemäß auch sehr süß. Das Rinderfilet erhielt ein Butter-Preiselbeerhaube, die für sich genommen lecker war, die aber ebenfalls sehr süß war. Mit einem Wort: alles war süß. Und das war das Problem mit diesem fast 40 € teuren Hauptgang: er war völlig unausgewogen. Ein süßes Element braucht einen Gegenspieler: Salzig, bitter, herzhaft oder was immer dem Koch einfällt. So war alles am Ende eine süße Pampe, die ich nicht zu Ende essen konnte. Ich brauchte erst mal einen doppelten Grappa. Aber lieber hätte ich für den geforderten Preis einen ausgewogenen leckeren Hauptgang gegessen. Dann hätte ich einen schönen Geburtstag erlebt. Denn deswegen waren wir da. Und das ist schade. Denn so schnell werden wir keinen neuen Besuch planen.

We ate there with 4 people and a dachshund on the Ascension weekend. Although it was full, we received a very friendly welcome and the entire service team was extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was a special taste experience. A very big compliment to the kitchen. Not only were we beautifully presented, but we were also impressed by the quality and the different flavors. Certainly a bit more expensive compared to the other offers in Zingst, but absolutely justified. A recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food. Please keep it up. A restaurant of a really high standard. The food is delicious, delights with every bite, non-obvious and interesting combinations create a real riot of flavors. We ate oriental cauliflower soup with sesame seeds, a salad with beef and goat cheese, and deliciously prepared lamb. For dessert, crème brûlée, served with aniseed ice cream. The interior is elegant, unobtrusive with very comfortable chairs. The service was great, we felt taken care of. We had a reservation online and I recommend booking as it was packed on a Saturday while it was still pre-season.

Ein ausgezeichneter Abschluss eines besonderen Tages Wir hatten einen Tisch für zwei mit Hund reserviert und bekamen einen Tisch mit reichlich Platz für die Hundedame im geschützten Bereich hinter dem Tisch. Die Kellnerin stellte sich mit Namen vor und wir wurden vom gesamten Serviceteam sehr aufmerksam durch den Abend begleitet. Wir bestellen Wein und Wasser Zur Vorspeise gab es für meine Frau den gratinierten Ziegenkäse, für mich das Thunfischtatar auf grünem Spargel. Beide Gerichte waren unglaublich lecker. Hauptgang meiner Frau war Zanderfilet mit schwarzem Risotto und Safran -Zitronensauce. Sie hat es sehr genossen und dass kleine Stück, dass ich probiert habe war köstlich. Mein Rindfleischburger war perfekt saftig und geschmacklich rund. Zum Nachtisch gab es schwarzes Sesameis mit geflammter Feige. Wir haben es so sehr genossen, dass wir uns einen Tisch für unseren Hochzeitstag reserviert haben. Dankeschön für den tollen Abend

It was just great! Warm welcome, great service and great food! It could always be better...of course, but it's really great here! Salmon burger is very tasty and a great alternative to the run-of-the-mill burger. The vegetarian dish “baked potato” is also a great idea and implementation! Gladly again!

We were looking forward to a lovely, relaxing evening in the “Sorgenfrei” restaurant. The occasion was a 60th birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant we were asked whose birthday it was and the birthday child was congratulated. We were shown to a table that was nicely set. The waitress introduced herself and suggested an aperitif. Despite a simple order, questions were asked several times. Another lady (with a dirty apron) brought us the 4 cocktails, where she discovered that one cocktail had a fly in it. She then fished it out of the glass in front of us without asking with her little finger and a cool saying. We were a little surprised, but held back. We took the carpacio and beetroot starter - on recommendation. We then had the main courses (scallops, zander fillet and lamb). The starter was okay, but very tasteless and absolutely unreasonable for the price. However, the joy of the main course was quickly dampened because the scallops and pike perch fillet were not even lukewarm. In terms of taste, everything was neutral, the pike perch fillet was like rubber. When asked, which only came at the end of the meal, they were very surprised at our criticism. We were then offered a drink on the house, which we had to choose. Suddenly another waitress came and poured us four schnapps with the comment "it tastes good". All in all, we have never experienced anything like this. Not only was the service bad, but also the food. When we paid, they put the bill on the table and asked us if we noticed anything. Yes, we were given a meal waiver, but that's not a good way for us and it compensates us because it was supposed to be a great and carefree evening. We are certainly not complainers or overly demanding guests, but we can distinguish good cuisine from appearance and reality. Completely overpriced and also very unprofessional.

From our point of view, the visit to Sorgenfrei can only be rated as 5 out of 5! Very nice staff, a great ambience and excellent food, from starters to dessert! An absolute must is the black sesame ice cream with incredibly delicious caramelized figs!! Thanks for a really carefree evening!

Nice restaurant with a very good menu. The food was good, plentiful, but somehow the service was a bit distant and didn't even thank us for our tip. We recommend the tuna tartare on green asparagus and the beef fillet. In the latter case, the kitchen should perhaps think about an alternative to the somewhat unloving celery mashed potatoes. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied and can only recommend the restaurant.

This was by far the most expensive burger 🍔 I have ever eaten. A plus for the BBQ beef burger: it was good, tasty and filling. However, these features do not justify the price of €25 per piece! My opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

Everything was right here. An unreserved recommendation. Drinks, starters, main courses and desert exceeded our expectations. The service was also impeccable. A reservation definitely makes sense.

We had promised ourselves a great evening. The map sounded interesting. The creations were certainly well thought out, but unfortunately the quality was not sufficient. The venison ragout was stringy, tough and neither tender nor lean. According to the children, the schnitzels were better. The crème brûlée was fine. Will be remembered overall. Just not in a good way.

Wir haben uns die Bewertungen angeschaut und uns dazu entschieden, hier gehen wir hin. Das Konzept ist schlüssig, Essen war lecker, wir hatten das Menü und Gerichte a la carte. Die Nachspeise bei dem Menü war nicht meins, Eis mit Kaffeegeschmack, gebratene Banane, Maracuja Tropfen und Baiser. Ist mal was anderes, aber nicht jedermanns Geschmack. 2 Menüs zur Auswahl, auch für keine Fisch Liebhaber, wäre ganz toll, Bemängeln müssen wir bei dem Preisniveau die Papierservietten und die Speisekarte. Bei manchen Tischen ist mit Stoff Serviette eingedeckt und manche mit Papier. Warum? Die Speisekarte sieht sehr verschlissen aus und ist sehr schlecht leserlich. Weißes Papier mit goldener Schrift und viele Buchstaben fehlten. Sollte bei dem Preisniveau nicht passieren.

Tldr: Fantastic food that is second to none! Evaluation: This evening we went to Sorgenfrei following a recommendation. What can I say, the recommendation was more than justified! We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Here the menu was brought to us and a delicious aperitif was immediately suggested. What really got us in the mood was that some of the appetizer cocktails were also offered as non-alcoholic versions. We decided on the non-alcoholic version of Francis, which immediately impressed us. While we enjoyed the cocktail, it was more than bearable while we waited for our starters. This took a little longer here than in some other restaurants, but the wait for the food was well worth it. We were able to enjoy the tuna tartare and the caramelized beetroot tartare with smoked duck. The Asian-inspired tuna tartare on asparagus impressed with the freshness of the tuna and the perfectly coordinated marinade of the asparagus. The whole thing was perfectly complemented by the strong flavors of sesame and truffle cream. The beetroot tartare doesn't have to hide here either. Here, the earthy note of the beetroot is perfectly complemented by the primarily sweet notes of the walnut brittle and the orange vinaigrette. Together with the slight smoky notes of the duck, the result is a full-bodied, rounded taste. After enjoying the starter, there was another short wait for the main courses. But this was rewarded with an absolutely fantastic lamb salmon with wasabi herb crust and beef fillet tips gratinated with goat cheese. The main courses were able to seamlessly follow the taste experience of the starters and even surpass them. The lamb salmon was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were second to none. The thyme sauce in particular is unrivaled in terms of heartiness and full-bodied taste. The beef fillet tips were also perfectly fried and simply tender. Despite the distinctive taste of the goat cheese, the intense taste of the beef fillet comes into its own here. The dressing's slight acidity and sweetness provide an excellent counterpoint to the savory components. The potato balls round it all off. After the two courses we were simply blown away! We can recommend the Sorgenfrei to anyone who comes to Zingst and is looking for something special. Anyone who is willing to take a bit of time and relax and enjoy the evening can only be happy here, because it impresses with quality and sophistication. We will be back definitely!

On Sunday evening we reserved a table for six people, were greeted very friendly and served attentively throughout the evening. The ambience was impressive, made an elaborate and cozy impression, which we really liked! The dishes were visibly sophisticated and tasted of a high standard! Only the meat of the otherwise successful beef burger was too raw, so I would have liked to have asked for it beforehand. A great location with a successful concept for a cozy evening with friends!

Vom Empfang bis zum Schluss ein wunderbarer Abend. Freundliche, umsichtige Mitarbeiter, eine ambitionierte, aber nicht reingesteigerte Karte, die hält, was sie verspricht, und schöne, treffsicher beschriebene Weine. Wer nach Zingst fährt, muss da hin!

We pre-ordered online and got a table in the cozy restaurant in Zingst. Although it was busy, we felt comfortable, not least because of the very nice service. When we entered the restaurant we were able to look into the open kitchen and fool around with the chef for a moment. The food is to die for, we had the tuna steak and the venison ragout. The pictures speak for themselves. A great restaurant.

A very chic restaurant with a great reinterpreted German cuisine. We were there with our 1-year-old daughter on Sunday evening without a reservation and got a great table. The service was extremely friendly to us and our daughter was able to watch the food being prepared from the open kitchen and was also given things to try. The food itself was rather expensive in terms of price, but incredibly tasty. The ambience of the store not only looks very inviting from the outside but is also very cozy inside. We have the venison ragout (on point), the sweet potato puree (a dream) and the truffle risotto (perfect). Any time! Great to recommend!

Sind durch Zufall auf das Restaurant gestoßen, schon vom äußeren beeindruckt. Ambiente sehr stylisch und doch gemütlich.sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service.speisen werden mit liebe zubereitet. Absolute Empfehlung!!! Tolles Essen in einem super Ambiente mit toller, netter Bedienung, welche sich persönlich vorstellte. Leichte Abstriche beim Essen, welches sehr lecker gewesen ist. Meine Jacobs-Muscheln und leider auch der Fisch meiner Begleitung waren nicht mehr ganz warm und Bestandteile des Essens waren grundsätzlich zu viel. Zuviel Grün; unvorteilhaft zur Deko eingesetzt und "der Berg Linsen" waren einfach zu viel. Reduziertere Portionen und es geht in Richtung Stern(eküche) Meine persönliche Wertung von 1-10 - Ambiente 10, Service 9, Essen 8.

Ein tolles Ambiente. Gemütlich, fast wie im Wohnzimmer. Leckeres, besonderes Essen . Die Preise sind wahrscheinlich angemessen aber eben nicht günstig.

Personal top, Essen top, Getränke top. Mehr braucht man nicht sagen.

Bei unserem Besuch gestern wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Die Getränkeempfehlung als Aperitif war super lecker. Als Gerichte hatten wir Thunfischtatar, Rote Beete Tatar und Lammlachse mit Kartoffelkrapfen, Thunfischsteak mit Pak Choi, Süßkartoffelpüree. Leider war für das Dessert kein Platz mehr. Für uns das beste Restaurant, dass wir bis jetzt im Urlaub besucht haben. Vielen Dank für das tolle Konzept (Mitarbeiter/innen, Ambiente und natürlich die Küche). Im nächsten Urlaub ist Sorgenfrei wieder unser Restaurant.

Wir haben online reserviert und hatten keine Probleme einen Tisch zu kriegen. Das Essen war sehr gut, eine interessante Mischung aus neuinterpretierten Gerichten: Thunfischtatar auf grünem Spargel. Highlight die 3 Käsevarationen, muss man selber probieren. 1 Stern Abzug bei der Ambiente aufgrund der offenen Küche (alles roch hinterher nach Fisch) und 1 Stern beim Service, da die neue (?) Mitarbeiterin mir etwas überfordert vorkam. Wir werden aber wiederkommen!

Das Essen ist lecker, die einzelnen Komponenten der Hammer. Das Thunfischtatar als Vorspeise ist nur zum Empfehlen, als Hauptgericht war das Lamm fantastisch und der Burger mega gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Haben das Restaurant durch Zufall gefunden und waren absolut begeistert. Es fällt echt schwer zu sagen was das Beste war weil einfach alle Gerichte so lecker waren

Bei unserem Besuch auf einen Samstag Abend wurden wir wirklich sehr herzlich empfangen und waren beeindruckt vom Ambiente und Service. Beim Essen für jedem was dabei und zu sehr fairen Preisen für das was man geboten bekommt.Hier wird noch Kochkunst gelebt.Minimale Abstriche in der Zubereitung aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau.Wir werden auf jedem Fall wiederkommen und sagen einfach "weiter so"!👍

Wir waren aus Anlass eines Geburtstages da, deswegen sollte es schon etwas Besonderes sein. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, der reservierte Tisch gut gelegen. Aber das Essen: die Vorspeise, ein Fruchttartar war toll. Gut abgeschmeckt, frisch, mit Schärfe, fruchtig mit Süße. Selten sowas Leckeres gegessen. Die Hauptspeisen waren ebenfalls sehr ok. Hervorzuheben ist dann die Käsetrilogie. Nicht einfach nur Käse, sondern ein Käseeis, ein Käsekuchen und Käse. Alles ganz fein gemacht. Die Weinauswahl war übersichtlich, aber wir haben einen Wein für unseren Geschmack gefunden. Macht weiter so!

Wir sind sehr oft in unserer alten Heimat und in unserer Ferienwohnung in Zingst. Schon lange liebäugelten wir mit einem Besuch in diesem Restaurant, da es beim Vorbeifahren von außen so gemütlich aussah. Unsere Plätze haben wir über die restauranteigene Internetseite reserviert. Gleichzeitig suchten wir uns online schon einmal unser Essen aus, damit es dann vor Ort schneller geht. Wir baten bei der Reservierung vorab um einen gemütlichen und ruhigen Tisch. Das scheint jedoch niemand gelesen zu haben, denn uns wurde ein Tisch zugeteilt, der sich fast neben der offenen Küche befand. Dort war es uns definitiv zu laut und wir wechselten daher in den Innenbereich an die Kaminholzmauer. Wir sind eigentlich gewohnt, dass man vom Personal direkt zum Tisch begleitet wird. Da kamen jedoch offenbar Stammgäste mit 2 Hunden dazwischen, die wichtiger waren und die Kellnerin lief einfach vor uns weg. Das geht schon mal gar nicht, da fühlt man sich gleich als Gast 2. Klasse. Unsere 2 Hauptgerichte (siehe Fotos) waren lecker, aber von der Menge her eher übersichtlich. Beim Risotto hätte man ruhig ein paar Späne Grana Padano sichtbar darüber hobeln können. Die Chili Kartoffelbällchen schmeckten wie TK-Ware und gar nicht nach Chili. Es handelte sich eigentlich um einen Wildkräutersalat garniert mit gratinierten Rinderfiletspitzen. Die Desserts hatten wir uns auch bereits online ausgesucht, dies sorgte allerdings für Streit mit der äußerst dominanten kleineren Servicekraft. Das Restaurant Sorgenfrei hat eine nicht mehr aktuelle Speisekarte online gestellt und die uns servierten Desserts wichen daher von der Online-Speisekarte ab. Der Preis ist gleich geblieben, allerdings fehlte bei der Crème brûlée eine Komponente ganz bzw. bei der Panna Cotta wurde einfach eine Komponente ausgetauscht. Die Desserts sind den hohen Preis definitiv nicht wert. Die Servicekräfte zeigten bei Nachfrage keinerlei Einsicht oder Entgegenkommen. Hier wurde stattdessen mit dem Gast noch rumdiskutiert und der Schwarze Peter wurde uns zugeschoben, von wegen können Sie nicht die Karte lesen. So eine Behandlung haben wir noch nie in einem anderen Restaurant erlebt und unsere Laune war schlagartig im Keller. Es ist doch wohl nicht zu viel verlangt, dass ein Restaurant seine Internetseite immer aktuell hält, zumal die Reservierungen ja auch über die Internetseite erfolgen. Und bei Unstimmigkeiten ist immer der Gast König. Das Restaurant hat unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt und wir werden es daher auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ein wirklich wunderschönes Restaurant. Das Essen war vorzüglich und wir wurden sehr gut und lieb bedient. Getränkeempfehlung(Aperitif) angenommen und auch eine alkoholfreie Variante bekommen. Vielen lieben Dank an das ganze Team und Markus, von der Küche bis zum Service ein großes Lob. Wir sind extra von Rostock für unseren besonderen Tag nach Zingst gefahren um im Sorgenfrei zu essen. Das Restaurant macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. DANKE.

Sehr lecker gegessen, Tolles Ambiente und freundliche Bedienung. Günstig ist wohl anders, aber das Essen hat eine hervorragende Qualität und es ist wirklich schön da. Also alles in Allem preislich dann doch passend. Aber die Speisekarte aus Google Maps ist veraltet und stimmt nicht mehr, weder von den angebotenen Gerichten, noch die abgebildeten Preise. Das ist natürlich kein Fehler des Restaurants.

Wenn wir in Zingst sind ist es für uns die erste Adresse. Ein freundlicher Service und hervorragendes Essen. Etwas gehobene Preisklasse, ist aber auch gerechtfertigt. Es gibt immer wieder neue Kreationen. Jedes mal ein Erlebnis

Sehr gutes Essen. Kleine aber feine Auswahl. Nicht dass günstigste Lokal, aber jeden Cent wert.

Sehr angenehmes Restaurant, der Service prima, das Essen Spitze, die Preise adäquat. Wir saßen leider etwas beengt, da wir mit Hund dort waren, der nächste Tisch war doch etwas dicht dabei.

Fabelhaft gegessen Spontan nach dem Spaziergang einen Tisch reserviert. Mit kleinen Hund einen schönen Platz bekommen. Ein sehr zuvorkommenden Service. Tolle Speise und Getränkeauswahl. Auch für Vegetarier leckere und abwechslungsreiche Gerichte. Wir haben vorzüglich gegessen und kommen beim nächsten Zingst Besuch bestimmt wieder! Preislich voll in Ordnung und nicht zu teuer für vorzügliche Gerichte.
