Das Restaurant wird von einem sehr freundlichen und jungen Team betrieben. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und schnell. Die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke sind geschmacklich sehr gut und werden mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant und auf der überdachten und beheizten Terrasse ist einladend. Bei der Bestellung der Plätze gab es leider Abweichungen zwischen den abgesprochenen und den zur Verfügung gestellten Plätzen. Wir kommen trotzdem gern wieder.

Wir haben das Kochwerk über das Internet gefunden und sind vom Essen wirklich begeistert. Die zentrumsnahe Lage und der nette Biergarten haben uns ebenfalls überzeugt. Der Service war sehr freundlich, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im oberen Segment. Wir empfehlen das Kochwerk gerne weiter.

Unsere Speisen waren ein absoluter Hochgenuss. Sehr toller Service. Hier sind Gastronomie und Service ein absolutes Highlight. Es ist empfehlenswert, die Plätze zu bestellen.

Wir sind schon jahrelang Feriengäste in Zingst .. Heute erstmals Gäste im Kochwerk ! Schade dass wir nicht eher auf die Idee kamen ! Die Reservierung am Telefon und der Empfang war sehr herzlich und erfrischend unkompliziert . Das Essen unglaublich lecker .. eine Geschmacksexplosion in jedem einzelnen Gericht die keine Wünsche offen ließ .. sehr frische moderne Küche gepaart mit traditionellen Gerichten . Der Service sehr aufmerksam und extrem freundlich ! Jetzt kommt das ABER - nach einem solch leckeren Essen genießen wir gerne einen Espresso - in diesem Fall hatten wir uns auf einen Affogato gefreut . Aus einem Vollautomaten ein no-Go . Vielleicht mal über eine Siebträgermaschine nachdenken ? Das würde das sehr gute Niveau eures Restaurants erheblich aufwerten ! Wir haben dort übernachtet und auch Frühstück sowie Abendbrot dort gegessen und es war wunderbar. Das Zimmer und auch das Restaurant extrem sauber, schick und neumodern. Auch das Personal extrem nett und höflich. Das Frühstück war schön und wird extra für die Übernachtungsgäste (und Gäste, die vorher gebucht haben) zubereitet. Kein Buffet sondern genau das, was man möchte. Dabei waren leckeres frisches Obst und auch eine passende Auswahl an Fleisch, Käse und Konfitüren. Alles schön angerichtet und bereit am Tisch als wir kamen (auch die Brötchen waren schön warm). Das beste war allerdings das Abendbrot, welches atemberaubend lecker war. Alles frisch und selbstgemacht, was man heutzutage leider viel zu selten hat. Man muss allerdings früh buchen, um noch einen Platz zu bekommen. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Urlaub. Danke!

Ich bin schon viel herumgekommen und habe schon in einigen Restaurants gegessen, aber dieses Restaurant schlägt alle. Das Essen ist der Hammer alles wir frisch zubereitet und hat höchste Qualität. Wer hier mal vorbei kommt muss es unbedingt besuchen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. von 10 ⭐ gibt's von mir ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hier wird alles frisch gekocht, daher nur eine kleine Karte. Jedes Gericht was wir hatten war ein Wow Moment. So kreativ und lecker. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Gastraum ist sauber und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben dort nur gegessen und nicht gewohnt. Können daher nichts über die Zimmer sagen.

KOCHWERK - klein und fein - konnten wir vor ein paar Tagen zu einem ganz persönlichen Anlass genießen: sehr ansprechendes Ambiente, ausgezeichnete Küche und freundlicher Service - nur der Abstand zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang war so kurz (dazwischen fehlte definitiv mehr Zeit), dass wir schon nach einer Stunde mit Aperitif nebst zwei Gängen fertig waren und das Genussgefühl sich nicht so richtig einstellen konnte - sehr schade bei der wirklich guten Küche - das Lokal ist trotzdem einen Besuch wert!

Tolles Restaurant mit super leckeren und originellen Gerichten die man sonst nicht auf der Karte findet. Schönes Ambiente. Jetzt in der Vorsaison mit kleiner, aber feiner Karte und noch wenigen Tischen. Daher unbedingt reservieren. Draußen gibt es aber noch viele Tische für das schöne Wetter. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Sehr lecker 😋 freundliches Personal

Wir waren dort im Winter mit unserer kleinen Tochter (acht Wochen) zum Frühstück. Das Frühstück war bereits fertig angerichtet und Eier sowie Kaffee wurden auf Wunsch zubereitet. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und ausgesprochen lecker. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es gab auch ein paar lokale Spezialitäten (aus Sanddorn) und reichlich frisches Obst. Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und auch rücksichtsvoll im Hinblick auf unser Baby. Er war auch für ein nettes Gespräch zu haben. Wenn wir dort nochmal Urlaub machen, würden wir sicher wieder kommen.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön! Die Karte ist klein, aber fein! Das Essen war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und sehr lecker! Den Punkt Abzug gibt es für den starken Geruch nach Fisch aus der Küche im Restaurant, was wir als störend empfunden haben.

Ein kulinarisches Highlight in Zingst: Unauffällig und dennoch zentral gelegen verbirgt sich hier ein wahres Juwel. Schon beim Ankommen fühlt man sich sofort willkommen – das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt für eine herzliche Atmosphäre. Die Küche überzeugt mit hochwertigen, kreativ zubereiteten Gerichten, die nicht nur geschmacklich, sondern auch optisch begeistern. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail und besten Zutaten gearbeitet wird. Jeder Gang war ein kleines Erlebnis für sich. Dazu kommt ein angenehm entspanntes Ambiente, in dem man wunderbar abschalten und den Abend genießen kann. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und einen ganz besonderen Abend verbracht. Ein Ort, an den man sehr gerne zurückkehrt und den man absolut weiterempfehlen kann. 🍽️✨

Wirklich leckere Küche - lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Dazu noch sehr freundlicher und unaufdringlicher Service. Trotz hochwertiger Küche auch mit Kind sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen. Trotz das wir keinen Tisch bestellt hatten haben wir einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die beiden vom Service waren sehr nett und freundlich.

Eine tolle Übernachtung in einem tollen Zimmer gehabt, dazu am nächsten Morgen ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück bei super schönen Ambiente. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. *Einziger Kritikpunkt, aber dieser richtet sich eher im allgemeinen an Gastrobetriebe, sind die Getränkepreise. Ich finde 6,50€ für ein Bier zu verlangen schon langsam echt aus verschämt oder auch über 9,00€ für Mixgetränke. Wenn man einen 1,00€ weniger macht hat der Kunde aber mit Sicherheit auch der Gastronom noch etwas davon.*

Wir waren zu Silvester hier und genossen ein wunderbares Essen; sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Der Service ist aufmerksam und dezent. Es herrscht eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre in stilvollem Ambiente.

Ich war über die Weihnachtsfeiertage als Alleinreisender im Kochwerk und bin einfach nur begeistert. Hier hat alles gepasst - alles sehr sauber, sehr schönes Zimmer, kreative, hervorragende Küche (Frühstück wie Abendessen), das stilvolle Ambiente im ganzen Haus und nicht zuletzt der zuvorkommende, freundliche, sympathische Service vom gesamten Team. Anmerkung: Wir waren nur zum Essen dort! Das Restaurant überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und optisch fast wie in einem Gourmetrestaurant angerichtet. Die Dekoration und das Ambiente sind schön und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Man sitzt angenehm und mit ausreichend Abstand zu anderen Gästen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Kochwerk in Zingst ist für uns schlichtweg unübertroffen – unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Hier werden Speisen nicht einfach nur gekocht, sondern komponiert: Jeder Teller ist ein kleines Kunstwerk, geschmacklich wie optisch perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Leidenschaft, Kreativität und einem tiefen Verständnis für hochwertige Produkte gearbeitet wird. Die Weinauswahl ist ebenso hervorragend – sorgfältig zusammengestellt, vielseitig und ideal auf die Gerichte abgestimmt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das Team, einschließlich des Chefs: freundlich, aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Kurzum: Das Kochwerk sucht in der gesamten Region seinesgleichen. Wer in Zingst oder Umgebung ist und Wert auf Genuss und Gastfreundschaft legt, kommt an diesem Restaurant nicht vorbei. We've dined at exclusive restaurants in the Rhine-Main area and at Christian Rüffer's Kempinski/Atlantic in Hamburg before, but we never expected anything like this. "Explosions of flavor" is what we experienced. Keep up the great work! We'll be back! Hi again. We'll be back, as I mentioned above, and we have several times already! Congratulations, you've managed to maintain your high standards for over two years and even improve upon them in some areas. Our meals were absolutely delicious once again! Delicious food and friendly service

On the evening of November 1, 2025, we attended a celebration at Kochwerk Zingst. We were treated to a menu consisting of several appetizers, three main courses, and a selection of desserts. Everything was of the highest standard: all the dishes were lovingly prepared and artfully presented. A feast for the eyes, which was then shared with the palate. Because we had the opportunity to watch the open kitchen, I was able to speak directly with one of the chefs and was inspired by their passion! After the first few courses, I asked if this was a Michelin-starred restaurant. The answer: "We don't aspire to be." And it is precisely this composure, this confidence, that Kochwerk exudes. If you want something special and also appreciate understated elegance, then this is the perfect place! We also stayed overnight at the Kochwerk guesthouse: this establishment is highly recommended as a guesthouse as well! The next morning, we enjoyed a breakfast that perfectly prepared us for a November swim in the Baltic Sea. Thank you to Kochwerk, thank you to Mirko, to Olaf and the entire team!

We ate at the restaurant as a couple. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant and it was a wonderful evening. The food was very creative and fantastic 😋

Everything was great, highly recommended. Since there are only three rooms, everything is very individual and very quiet. Our room was a real apartment, with a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, of course, everything very tastefully furnished. I want to stay overnight at this place. You have to make an effort in advance. I'll upload some photos of our room!

We come to Kochwerk for dinner every year while on vacation. Unfortunately, we discovered that the quality has noticeably deteriorated. While the menu is more extensive, it comes at the expense of the availability of some items. From such an upscale restaurant, one would expect the dishes offered to be available. Furthermore, the quality of the side dishes has significantly deteriorated.

A small hotel with a very good restaurant, located a bit outside the city. Everything has been skillfully renovated. We had a large, superb room with a balcony.

First of all, everything below is of course subjective assessment and perception. The room, specifically number 3, gets 5 stars for furnishings, comfort, and size (two rooms). Unfortunately, the "Deluxe Double Room" is located directly above the Kochwerk kitchen, which is where the issue of soundproofing comes into play. During the restaurant's opening hours, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the noise is so extreme that we rarely went there, so we only gave it 1 star 😕. Due to its proximity to Barther Straße, soundproof windows were installed in this room. Please believe us, we know what we're talking about; our hotel is located in the approach area of ​​the Federal Police helicopter base 😁👍. 5-star breakfast, 5-star restaurant.

This week I was privileged to enjoy a culinary highlight at Kochwerk. The food was truly innovative and delicious. The food is still fresh and cooked with love. The service and the welcome were so friendly and welcoming. I immediately felt welcome. The lovingly furnished rooms are clean, spacious, and, importantly for me, you can leave the windows open at night to breathe in the sea air, as there are fly screens on every window. Parking is available. Treat yourself! Just treat yourself to Kochwerk. 😊I'd love to come back.

Conclusion: "I wanted to but couldn't"! You can make reservations here. We could choose between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.! We named a "slot" at 8 p.m. and were first asked if we wanted an appetizer! They were apparently already clearing up. And it continued like this! The appetizer came before the kitchen's greeting! While the main course was being served, the breakfast table was already being set next door 😕 My meal was okay. My wife's duck arrived after only 15 minutes and was tough. It must have been left in the warming rack in the kitchen too long. If you catch the timing right, it's definitely good. But if not 😕 You can clearly tell (everywhere in Zingst) that the peak season is over 🤔

Extremely good food at really reasonable prices. I highly recommend it; it was delicious, and I'd be happy to come back.

After three years, I'm back on vacation in Zingst, and of course I've booked appointments at Kochwerk. What can I say: you still cook as well as you did when you started, and you have fantastic service staff. I'm looking forward to the next few evenings.

We stayed at the guesthouse for several days again. It was another wonderful stay. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The breakfast is simply fantastic. The waiter who prepares and serves breakfast also gives some tips for excursions. The chef knows his craft. The food is prepared to perfection, with great care and attention to detail. We were once again completely satisfied. We are already looking forward to our next vacation there.

A beautiful restaurant, certainly of a higher standard. However, with seven paying guests, you'd expect it to be possible to order a meal from the "CHILDREN'S MENU"!! Even if the person is an adult, you don't want to go into detail about a health restriction or have to explain it. The fact that it was accepted without comment would have been a nice gesture. For our starter, we ordered spread with bread, and shortly after, the kitchen greeted us...bread with spread!!?? Then our spread...Can't you ask when ordering if you'd like something else, since something similar is about to arrive? The service was very nice, but the business philosophy is unfortunately questionable. For a restaurant that wants to position itself as more upscale, please also serve guests flexibly. Just because you're on vacation doesn't mean you have plenty of money or want to deliberately throw food away. It's a shame, but we unfortunately can't recommend it. Tip: It's better to sell small portions with care than none at all.

A truly wonderful restaurant that made our vacation even more enjoyable. Of course, you'll have to spend a bit more here than at the fish sandwich stand, but it's worth it! The great selection of drinks is also fantastic. I'll definitely try the Yuzu Mule they offer at home :) My only criticism might be the heat inside in the summer, but otherwise, a wonderful place!

We have been visiting Kochwerk in Zingst regularly for years and appreciate the generally good food. However, during our last two visits, the service was unacceptable: • Long waits for our tables, drink orders, and greetings from the kitchen were delayed and sometimes incomplete. • Cutlery was only served upon request, and wine was served too late and at room temperature. • Main course was overheated, side dishes lukewarm, and complaints were met with neither an apology nor any improvements. • Guests were treated completely unequally: Some received all their courses promptly, while others sat for hours without service. Despite direct criticism on site, nothing has improved. We recommend: • Clear time slots for reservations and timely table information • Menus, cutlery, and glasses already set on the table • Prompt request and delivery of drinks, as well as a greeting from the kitchen • Friendly greeting, timely clearing, and immediate cutlery change This way, Kochwerk could finally underline its excellent food with service that lives up to the standards of the establishment.

"KOCHWERK Zingst" – Visit on August 7, 2025 We arrived spontaneously after a bike ride and were given a seat inside. The entire team was extremely friendly from the start and immediately gave the impression of genuine joy and passion for their work. The service was consistently attentive, regularly checking in to see if everything was okay or if there were any requests – without ever being intrusive. The food was simply outstanding – a solid 11 out of 10. You could feel the love for their craft and the care taken in preparing every course, from the main course to dessert. The price is absolutely reasonable for this exceptional service and the high quality of the food. A clear recommendation – we would love to come back. Thank you for a great evening!

Great food! This review relates solely to the service. We've been eating here for the third year in a row, and unfortunately, it keeps getting worse. The food, I have to say, is still great. There's nothing wrong with that, but the service is disastrous. The food took ages to arrive. The children's meal arrived almost half an hour earlier than the rest of the dishes. Drinks sometimes took an extremely long time to arrive, and empty glasses weren't cleared away. We first visited the restaurant three years ago and were thrilled with the food and the service. For this reason, we returned last year and were disappointed. The service was so poor. We even had to clean up a spilled drink ourselves. We wanted to give the restaurant another chance, based solely on the food, and were unfortunately disappointed again. This was our last visit there. What a shame.

Unfortunately, we've only been to this restaurant twice, but we can truly recommend it. We haven't had such a good meal in a long time. The service is also truly excellent and rounds out the experience.

We went there for dinner. Far from the hustle and bustle of the holidaymakers, the chef and his team do an excellent job. The dishes are excellent and tastefully put together. A must if you're not necessarily looking for fish (they do have fish dishes, of course, but there are also other options).

We spent a truly wonderful evening at Kochwerk. The food was excellent, by far the best in Zingst. Since the price is often criticized here, I'd like to point out that the quality and the effort (that goes into the dishes) definitely justify the prices. There are restaurants (including in Zingst) that offer much less for more money. Incidentally, we couldn't find the "cat table" that's often criticized here, and even if we did, it would still be worth the meal. Of course, the service is also wonderful. We'll be back.

The service was also extremely friendly, which further enhanced the evening. A clear recommendation for anyone seeking high-quality culinary delights! We spent two nights there and felt completely at home. Very friendly and attentive hosts. Excellent cuisine, truly worthy of the name restaurant. We also really liked the town and the peninsula. We'll definitely come back sometime.

My partner and I went to Kochwerk once for breakfast and once for dinner during our vacation. Both times, we received a friendly welcome and were served attentively by the staff throughout the meal. Dinner was a culinary delight! I'm still thinking about my various beets! The meal and the evening were worth every penny! At breakfast, we enjoyed sitting at a table set with all the delicious treats, with fresh rolls and fresh scrambled eggs. It's definitely worth coming here!

You can immediately tell that the food is prepared with great attention to detail – thoughtful combinations, fresh ingredients, and a truly harmonious overall concept. The service was warm and attentive, the ambiance stylish yet relaxed – perfect for a special occasion, but also ideal for a lovely dinner any time. Deserves its 5 stars – good service and top-quality food – a bit more expensive, but the high-quality ingredients and creative flavors are worth it! We had lamb and pike-perch – cooked to perfection and not overcooked like so often elsewhere – fantastic!

We unfortunately only discovered this restaurant on our last day of vacation… a real shame, because the chef here is a true master of his craft. The food was exquisite and truly something special. The waiter was also very attentive. A real hidden gem!

A fantastic, innovative restaurant with excellent products, one of the best restaurants in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. We come several times a year and have been impressed every time. Great products, beautifully presented, not cheap but worth every penny. We'll be back, of course.

The Kochwerk restaurant in Zingst is highly recommended. The food is good and the service friendly. However, I was bothered by the fact that there were seven of us there, and one of us had the "cat seat" at the front, as the table was only designed for six. That's not hospitable.

As Zingst residents, we regularly go to Kochwerk for breakfast. We like the selection. Everything is freshly prepared. It's delicious, and there's something for everyone. The staff is also very friendly. You should definitely make a reservation during the season.
