Hier stimmt einfach alles: Ein tolles Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen auf hohem Niveau und ein Team, das an Herzlichkeit kaum zu übertreffen ist. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend und den tollen Service!

Wir verbringen aktuell unseren Sommerurlaub in Westerstede und haben spontan einen Tisch im Restaurant Slavija bekommen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und herzlich, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Das Bier + Julischka waren hervorragend und das Essen einfach eine glatte 10/10 – frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir können das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Westerstede gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße

Ein schönes Restaurant sehr freundlich

Argentinisches Filetsteak.... Das beste Steak das ich je gegessen, so super gut gewürzt und unfassbar zart! Dazu gab es noch Backkartoffel und Brot. Davor ein leckerer Salat und Brot mit Aijvar. Ich bin papp satt und für den Preis einfach unfassbar viel und gut! Sehr schön angerichtet und sehr guter Scheller Service. Die zweite Person hatte Schweinemedaillons in Metaxasauce. Die Sauce war sehr fruchtig und leicht scharf.... Super lecker! Das Fleisch sehr zart. Dazu Pommes und Djuvecreis, auch eine mehr als ausreichende Portionsgröße. Bestens zu empfehlen!

Während unseres Kurzurlaubes waren wir 2x mit 8 Personen und 2 Hunden hier abends essen.Es war sehr lecker und frisch gekocht und der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Das Essen war lecker und der Bedienung sehr freundlich. Sogar nach dem Essen kam der Chefkoch fragen ob alles in Ordnung war. Das gibt's heute zu Tage nur noch selten. Das Interieur war sehr angenehm.

Einfach die beste Rumpsteak in Ammerland!

Waren am Valentinstag dort. Sehr freundliches Personal. Für unsere 9 Monate alte Tochter bekamen wir sofort einen Hochstuhl. Service war super freundlich und schnell, trotz dass das Restaurant rappelvoll war. Ich hatte Schweinfilet mit Schafskäse gefüllt. War superlecker. Vorweg hatte ich gebratene Peperonis. Waren auch super. Was mir jedoch auffiel : in der Karte steht „milde Peperonis“. Ich esse die gerne in griechischen Restaurants, habe dadurch schon einiges auf an Peppis. Aber diese hatten doch etwas mehr „Bumms“ um sie als mild zu betiteln 😂 waren trotzdem super!

Voll begeistert, Essen und Service 1a . Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis und die Qualität stimmen absolut. Daumen hoch und klare Empfehlung Immer wieder ein Vergnügen hier zuspeisen.

Essen war super. Als es 23 Uhr war,wurde unaufgefordert und ohne Worte die Rechnung gebracht. Man hätte es auch einfach nett sagen können, dass nur bis 23 Uhr geöffnet ist

Wir gehen hier öfters mit der Familie essen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr gut und auch die wechselnde saisonale Speisekarte ist zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt

Nettes Lokal tolle reichhaltige Speisen Personal aufmerksam und sehr freundlich

Wir waren mit insgesamt 4 Personen dort essen und hatten jeweils unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt. Die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und die bestellten Gerichte sehr schnell serviert. Meiner Meinung nach könnte man sich hier ruhig etwas mehr Zeit nehmen. Schließlich möchte man als Gast den Abend ja entspannt genießen.. Das Essen selbst war ausgesprochen schmackhaft und die Portionen angemessen groß. Die Qualität der Speisen war meiner Meinung nach exzellent. (Gruß an die Küche👍🏼) Die Preise sind angemessen und gehen absolut in Ordnung. Das Einzige was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war dann irgendwann die Lautstärke. Aber damit ist dieses Restaurant nicht alleine. Uns hat es auf jeden Fall sehr gut gefallen und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein gutes Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente! Ob zu zweit oder mit 10 Personen, jedesmal wurden wir bestens bedient: Alle bekamen in angemessener Zeit gleichzeitig das Essen. Qualität: Der Salat ist sehr frisch und lecker, das Fleisch ist perfekt gegrillt, grosses Lob! Auch stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles in allem: 5 Sterne! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich wurde beim Betreten des Restaurants herzhaft begrüßt und es wurde mir direkt ein Tisch angeboten, das Essen war war sehr sehr gut.. Wer ein top Restaurant sucht ist hier definitiv an der richtigen Adresse..

Das Essen war fantastisch! Wir hatten ein Schnitzel und ein Filetsteak und es war wirklich lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man bekommt vorher einen leckeren Salat mit Brot und danach einen Likör. Fantastisch! ☺️

Das Restaurant kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, das Essen hier ist wirklich außerordentlich gut und der Service ist einsame Spitze. Das Ambiente innen ist schön und sauber aber das Ambiente außen könnte schöner sein.

Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Jever ist sehr gut gezapft und sehr frisch und lecker. Der Salat ist frisch. Das Fleisch ist schmackhaft und sehr saftig. Gut gegrillt! Sehr zu empfehlen. Gern wieder!

Schönes Restaurant mit angenehmer Einrichtung und Atmosphäre, leider fand ich es sehr laut. Tischreservierung auch unter der Woche erforderlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. We were at Slavija this evening. The atmosphere was fantastic. The service was very pleasant and friendly. There weren't long waits. The food was excellent. High praise for the kitchen. We haven't had such a good meal in a long time.

We're not spoiled, but if it's just over-seasoned and spicy, and the side dishes aren't tasty either, then we can say for ourselves! We won't be going there again 😞😞

It was my first time there. It's so lovely, small and cozy, with a great team that's friendly and helpful, and what I also find very positive is always a smile on their faces. The food was excellent.

I ordered a mix of halal meat and got the best mixed meat ever, lamb, beef, chicken, perfect. The meat was juicy yet still well-cooked and the portion was huge enough to satisfy even the biggest gourmets. For us from the Balkans who love meat, this is not only a return to the Balkans, but it's even better than the Balkans. Well done and of course I'll come again 🔥🔥🔥🔥

We're here on vacation and have tried other restaurants, but this one is the best. The food is delicious, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the price/performance ratio is excellent. We've already made another reservation.

Food: Salad was fresh, some of the meat was a bit dry. Good portion size to fill you up. Fries were well-seasoned. Service: Very friendly and efficient staff. Atmosphere: A bit dated but cozy and not very noisy. Unfortunately, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant through the open patio door. Conclusion: We would come again.

We "celebrated" a birthday there with a small group. The service was super friendly, the food was very good, although a bit too meaty for me. But that's not something you can hold against a steakhouse 😜 We had a very comfortable seating on the terrace.

Not recommended, too loud. Prices too high, little on the plate. The bread they gave you in the basket was old. Tasted disgusting.

Die Speisen sind ein absoluter Genuss: frisch zubereitet, reichlich portioniert und geschmacklich hervorragend. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Grillplatten und die Balkanspezialitäten – zartes Fleisch, perfekt gewürzt, dazu köstliche Beilagen und Saucen. Auch das hausgemachte Brot war ein Traum! Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und gepflegt – ideal für einen entspannten Abend zu zweit, mit Freunden oder der Familie. Wer in Westerstede gutes Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre genießen möchte, sollte das Slavija auf keinen Fall verpassen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

From the moment you enter, you receive a friendly greeting and immediately feel welcome. The service is attentive, warm, yet pleasantly unobtrusive – just right. The food is an absolute delight: freshly prepared, generously portioned, and deliciously flavorful. The grilled platters and the Balkan specialties are particularly recommended – tender meat, perfectly seasoned, accompanied by delicious side dishes and sauces. The homemade bread was also a dream! The ambiance is cozy and refined – ideal for a relaxing evening for two, with friends, or family. If you want to enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere in Westerstede, you shouldn't miss Slavija. The tenant changed last October. Unfortunately, you can tell; the meat isn't as tender anymore. The taste isn't what it used to be. And it's probably not true that the chef still cooks here himself. I've read the other reviews; you guys have no taste.

Had dinner here yesterday. We felt very comfortable. Staff enjoy their work with a lot of joy. I can only recommend the vegetarian plate even though I am not a vegetarian. Keep it up.

We were there with the shooting club and it was just really good! I asked if I could get a chicken schnitzel. They then made us one even though it wasn't on the menu! We visited this restaurant on a recommendation. It is somewhat inconspicuous and is unfortunately somewhat remote. The food is absolutely amazing!!! Prepared with a lot of love and simply perfect!! The prices are reasonable and for these menus - including what you saw at the other tables - absolutely reasonable! Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit small and therefore quite noisy. We are not from Westerstede; If we are in the area again, we will definitely come here again!! Absolute recommendation!! Thank you!!

The food is excellent, the staff is polite, the ambience is very pleasant, the space itself is aesthetically decorated very nicely. Kudos to the chef who works hard for his guests and welcomes and entertains them pleasantly.

The food was really delicious and the price-performance ratio was more than convincing. It's a nice steakhouse, with a family atmosphere and a very relaxed feel. I was there on the hour in the evening and my drink and very generous salad arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The main course arrived just 10-15 minutes later and it was really delicious. The croquettes tasted really good and the turkey schnitzel in particular was really well cooked and juicy. I've rarely eaten anything like that in a restaurant. The ice cream afterward was very good - homemade, not cheap whipped cream. You could taste it. The ice cream scoops were also really tasty. I'm very satisfied and convinced I've found an excellent choice for eating out. I've tried many but this is one of my TOP 5. You should definitely try it. I spent just under €30 as a single person for all three.

Nothing works during the week without a reservation. This is due to the good food and the always friendly service. Always worth recommending.

Ate there today based on a recommendation. Very nice atmosphere and it is strongly recommended to reserve in advance, we were really lucky to get a table for three people. The service staff was very friendly and accommodating. Flux ordered the drinks and started studying the menu, which includes typical Balkan dishes plus a steak menu. We ordered three starters and three main courses. The waiting time was okay because the store was busy. Unfortunately, two of the three starters weren't that good. The taste was okay, the brusceta bread was unfortunately soggy due to all the dressing for the tomatoes, so the crispiness of the bread was lost. Unfortunately, the quality of the cheese with the baked sheep's cheese wasn't good at all. The dressing for the salad was also unfortunately very flat in taste because the main part only consisted of mayonnaise. All in all, it's a shame. Then came the main courses. And I have to say it was a hit with all three! The meat was fried to perfection and the taste was really great! And the portions are huge! After dinner I had the opportunity to have a little chat with the house cook outside. He and his brother took over the business on October 1st, 2024. I kindly pointed out to him what I thought were not great starters (I'm a chef myself), which he gratefully accepted. I think there are small adjustments that the food needs, then the shop has the potential to become one of my favorite shops in Ammerland! Can clearly be recommended! One point deducted because of the starters, otherwise really great. Price/performance ratio is also right.

Was here today for the second time in a short space of time and both times it was really great. Service, food and afterwards the Julischka (also the one we took home) incredibly good. Plus a great price. Always happy.

The popularity of the restaurant speaks for itself. The menu is very extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. The quality of the food was very good and the price was reasonable. Disadvantage: You have to choose a “layer”. Either from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or from 8:00 p.m. Due to the narrow seating, it is very loud when full and makes communication at the table difficult. I'm (still) looking forward to the next visit.
