If you are in Düsseldorf, you should definitely try the restaurant! I had the sardine pan and it was absolutely superbly prepared – fresh, flavorful and perfectly on point. A good restaurant with Turkish cuisine. Very large portions and delicious food.

I had the “honor” of visiting the Black Sea Restaurant in Düsseldorf and it was a real disappointment. With a group of business partners I had invited, we were initially impressed by the restaurant's beautiful interior. But appearances are deceiving – the food was simply catastrophic. We didn't look at the prices, which turned out to be a big mistake. The quality of the dishes was subpar, and I would argue that even in a kebab shop the food is presented more attractively. The plates were tasteless and carelessly put together, so that I seriously questioned whether the owners had any idea about gastronomy. The Black Sea Restaurant has managed to completely disappoint the expectations one has of a restaurant in this price category. High prices but absolutely no value in terms of quality or taste. I can only advise everyone to avoid this restaurant - they will only make fun of you there! I'm really disappointed and will definitely not be coming back. Instead, I'd rather look for another restaurant where the food is really convincing and the price-performance ratio is right. Hands off!

Fish dishes were great. Meat dishes are very Germanized and not that great. Price performance is ok, but not great. You can do it, but it doesn't necessarily have to.

The owner, who also serves, attacks the guests personally with their origins and is absolutely unprofessional. I cannot recommend the restaurant in any way.

I only give one star in the service category - and that's solely because there is no option to give no star at all. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed any positive aspects that the restaurant could possibly have had. After we finished our meal, a friend asked for a coffee. But the waiter, who is apparently also the restaurant owner, refused to serve it to her. Instead, he told us in an unfriendly manner that we should leave because more guests were supposed to be expected shortly. At this point, the store was only operating at 10% capacity. When we tried to politely point out his unprofessionalism and impudence, he immediately reacted aggressively, apparently felt his authority was being attacked and went into an inappropriate defensive position. This behavior is disrespectful, especially to three women. The ability to take criticism and manners are essential in the catering industry - this seems to be something that could be improved greatly here! At the end he asked us to leave the restaurant and insulted us with the derogatory remark "You Frankfurters are all the same". Such behavior is simply shameful and unacceptable. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

I had a great breakfast at the Black Sea Restaurant. Everything was freshly prepared and extremely tasty! The Kuymak/Muhlama in particular is a must. The service was okay and the prices are fair. Highly recommended!

Good lighting, good atmosphere, every dish is delicious

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, but unfortunately the food we ordered last Tuesday is still in our stomachs. We ordered two lamb meat pans for just under €80 including drinks. Unfortunately, it was only at the end that we noticed that the meat was spoiled smelled, we ate quickly and talked and laughed a lot while eating. The service was more like a kebab shop instead of a restaurant, a very young waitress had difficulty dividing our bill and asked the four of us to come to the front of the checkout, unfortunately very untypical for this class. But we won't go there again because we spent a week in the toilet.

Great restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Excellent food of the best quality. Clearly freshly prepared. Image quality. The staff is friendly and attentive. You feel welcome here. The evening menu is in the middle price segment, but what you have on your plate is worth the money.

Fresh fish and meat varieties are incredibly delicious The pumpkin dessert I ate with Turkish tea after the meal was beyond delicious. I have been coming to this place for years, the same quality, same taste every time I come. I highly recommend it.

We had dinner there yesterday. It was just great. The service was really great. People were very friendly and attentive. We were looked after really nicely. Just as you wish. The food was a little dream. Delicious. We had fish and a grill plate. There was also a starter and dessert, which were also very good. The atmosphere was very cozy. Very stylishly furnished. So I would recommend it to everyone. It was a lovely evening we spent there. We will come again.

We ate in this restaurant on a Saturday, unfortunately the price-performance ratio was not the same. For two people we paid around 80 euros for the meal, a side dish and two drinks. The service, atmosphere, location and hygiene is perfect. However, the food, including the side dishes, was so bad that we felt it was a shame to get so little quality for so much. The fish didn't taste good. There was no salt in every meal. The side salad with the fish wasn't fresh and was too full of olive oil. The meat skewer wasn't fresh and there was no salt, you couldn't chew the meat properly because it wasn't fresh and wasn't grilled enough. The only tasty thing was the bread that came with it. The house sauce was very small. The tea after the meal, which is a guest gift, was almost transparent. Unfortunately overall bad rating because we didn't like the food at all and we only ate because we were very hungry. What a shame

The food and service were actually good but the price is extremely overpriced. For half a perch (yarım levrek) we were charged €49.9. For a piece of baklava with a piece of ice cream 12.80€. We were 2 adults with 2 children and paid €230 (without alcohol and without a lot of frills). Too bad...

We ate very delicious food, I'm sure there are very few places in Germany where you can find fish with this freshness and taste... Whenever I want to eat fish, they generally offer frozen sea bream that has been kept for a long time... We ate amazing sea bass, red mullet and swordfish here, and our friends who ate chops also They liked it very much… It is definitely recommended 🌟 👌👌🌟

Probably one of the best turkish restaurants in Düsseldorf, truly Istanbul/ Bosphorus Flair and early 20th century ambiente. The food is a delight, both fish and meat option are recommandable. We will definitely come back!

We thought a nice restaurant found and the food was okay. Nothing wrong with that, but not great either. To make matters worse, when we got home we saw a service charge of 15 euros on the receipt! What to pay for service! Really ridiculous and we also left a tip. If we had known this, we would never have eaten there. Really ridiculous! So I am furious. Hence only 1 star, but they actually don't deserve a star.

The quality of the food was OK (but not excellent). Taking into account the absurdly high prices (e.g. 16+ EUR for a starter with 8-9 stuffed mushrooms carelessly arranged in a pan) you can only give 2 stars for price/performance. In addition, there was very inattentive service (if someone was there, it was friendly, but in 3 hours someone came by without being asked three times, even though it wasn't full). Ambiance is nice, but at least 40% too expensive for what is on offer as well as location etc. I have no idea how something like that can have 4.7 stars!

The lunch menu offers a good price/performance ratio in terms of quantity and quality. I had a fish pan with pieces of various delicious fish on a bed of vegetables cooked in olive oil. Plenty of flatbread, olives and cream were served beforehand. A carafe of water with ice cubes was also part of the order. The warm service and the attractive interior design rounded off the visit. I would be happy to come here again for lunch.

Restaurant is totally fine, but for us it doesn't have the necessary factor to come back again. The Turkish restaurant has been adapted to western customers and is not completely authentic. Most of the food was tasty, but some of the starters were not good value for money in terms of quantity. Unfortunately, the Turkish coffee is brought in unsuitable dishes - the cup was so hot that you couldn't touch it until after a quarter of an hour. Unfortunately, the service seemed quite disinterested and cold, which was what spoiled our visit the most.

A very nice atmosphere, cozy with oriental accents. The food is excellent, the fish is fresh and delicious. As a gift from the house, we were given Turkish tea and delicious baklava, which were made from hazelnuts from the boss's local Turkish hazelnut plantation. All in all: highly recommended, we had a lovely evening with lots of enjoyment!

Verbal and physical confrontations with the employees... unprofessionalism doesn't even begin to describe it, what we had to experience today is just really bad. Today we wanted to have breakfast there, when my friend started right at the door and rudely pointed out that today was a day of rest and at the end she said "and bye" My friend asked the gentleman to deliver this news in a more friendly way, she was insulted as anti-social... the gentleman came out, knew her, was after a young woman, wanted to physically attack her and in the end even spit on her, I was also met. It's a mystery to me that people like that are allowed to work there.

A restaurant I've been to before can't even be a restaurant or even a buffet for me. Every time I came to a fair, I stopped by at least once or it was a place I brought my guests to. Once I went there alone, they turned me down, saying they couldn't give a table for 2 people for one person. It's like we went to the disco to have fun. This is an amateur move.
