Some dishes are priced too high (bruschetta 12.50, three slices of ciabatta, tomato, mozzarella, and a handful of lettuce). The food is excellent, with good wine recommendations. The service is also attentive and quick. Couldn't they squeeze a quarter fewer tables into this small place?

A culinary masterpiece We had the pleasure of enjoying the Eifel shoulder of lamb whole for four people at Primitivo and it was an absolute highlight. The lamb was perfectly braised, incredibly tender, juicy and with a wonderfully aromatic crust that perfectly absorbed the flavors of the Sangiovese stock. The accompaniment to the dish was exceptional: the artichokes and pumpkin caponata brought a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, while the yellow lentil cream with its velvety texture provided a harmonious base. Each bite was a play of flavors, enhanced by the deep, rich Sangiovese stock, a true explosion of flavor. The service was, as always, excellent: friendly, knowledgeable and with a real enthusiasm for the culinary art that was brought to the table. Tight, loud, bustling, authentic in that respect. The service was rather neutral, for friendliness you should probably be a regular. Food was ok, although I had a queasy feeling about the "medium" veal liver, but it was tasty. The other dishes in my group had pretty hefty prices, but no one was really impressed. The men's toilet was an absolute disgrace - I haven't had anything so disgusting in a long time (it's not so much the smell, if only it weren't for the burning in the eyes...) - absolutely unworthy of a shop with THEIR standards!

I was at Primitivo yesterday and I'm really impressed with everything here. The atmosphere is super cozy, stylish, but still relaxed. You immediately feel comfortable without it looking overly chic. The cod was absolutely amazing. Perfectly prepared, slightly crispy on the outside, buttery soft on the inside and an incredibly harmonious combination of side dishes and sauce. You immediately notice that emphasis is placed on quality and details. What particularly impressed me was the price-performance ratio. For the quality that comes to the table here, you really pay a fair price. Compared to other restaurants in the same category, you simply get more for your money here both in the ingredients and the service. Absolutely recommended, especially if you're looking for high-quality cuisine without spending a fortune. I'll definitely come back

I've been to Primitivo several times and it's always been good, but today I have to write a review. I just had probably the best risotto of my life. Risotto with red cabbage, chestnuts and wild broccoli. It was fantastic. A real taste explosion. Definitely 5 stars

Wow, what a great lunch at Primitivo The chitarra with lamb polpettine was amazing, the meatballs were so juicy that I almost cried, and the tomato sauce... Guys, a poem. Pasta was nice and firm to the bite, just the way it should be. Plus a super nice team and a relaxed atmosphere. Here it simply tastes like a holiday on a plate. 10/10

A real insider tip was recommended to me in Primitivo: Bresaola with fried porcini mushrooms and egg vinaigrette. This dish wasn't on the menu, but was personally recommended to me by the service and it was awesome The bresaola was super tender, the porcini mushrooms were perfectly fried and the egg vinaigrette was creamy with just the right amount of acidity. Fresh salad with it is simply great. You can tell that a lot of love goes into the recommendations and preparation. A highlight that should not be missed.
