What a shame. We wanted to warm up and have a drink after enjoying the winter wonderland. Unfortunately, a snide employee ruined our plans, so after a frustrating wait, we decided to leave without ordering anything.

Unfortunately, charging the e-bike was refused. Not a good service on the Fulda Cycle Path. I would have paid for it anyway. So, no further visits, even without an e-bike.

The terrace is a lovely place to sit, but the chairs make such an unpleasant, tinny noise when pulled closer that I was always terrified. White wine spritzer!! I also think €6 is too much.

We were there with a larger group. The food came quickly! It was served in a drafty manner! Unfortunately, the first meals were quite cold. I should have deducted another star for that, but that wouldn't be okay either. My meal, however, was perfect. And my second drink was missing an orange! So next time I'll be stricter!

The homemade lemonade is amazing, the cakes are very large and delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful.

The scenery and location are truly beautiful, no question. Unfortunately, that's where it ends for me. Paying €6.80 for a 0.25-liter bottle of water and a 0.3-liter bottle of blackcurrant spritzer is pretty steep, especially when you're not even served and have to pick up the drinks yourself. The value for money here isn't right for me at all.

The spritzers are really delicious, but the tables could be cleaner.

After a lovely stroll through the park, we sheltered from an approaching thunderstorm in the Orangery – and were pleasantly surprised. The homemade lemonade was refreshing, the cappuccino perfectly prepared. The stylish interior creates a cozy atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back!

I spontaneously stopped by for dinner with my sister-in-law after a long walk through Buga and Karlsaue. Wow, we weren't expecting something so delicious. Beautifully presented, super fresh, and absolutely delicious 😍😋 We had bruschetta and tarte flambée and were completely stuffed afterwards. The 20,000 steps were definitely worth it 😅. Loud, a bit bare, and uncomfortable, at least the right part. We couldn't get into the other area. The food was delicious, the service rather reservedly friendly. It was strange that there was no menu, and the waitress had to recite the offerings to each guest. By the end of the list, I could barely remember where to start. It's a bit inconvenient for choosing. 😅

The "Orangerie" leaves a mixed impression. The ambiance is appealing, but the advertised opening hours didn't reflect reality during my visit. This led to an unexpected early closing time. For that, I give it 3 out of 5 stars. There's definitely potential, but the reliability of the opening hours could be improved.

+ Friendly, helpful staff + Super delicious hot chocolate + Delicious brunch selection + Beautiful interior design downstairs Neutral: If you're not very good on your feet, you should specifically make a reservation downstairs for brunch to avoid constantly climbing stairs. - Despite paper signs, there was no allergen information at the brunch buffet (an employee was able to ask a colleague for me; I'm sure this can be made easier for everyone). - The atmosphere in the dining room was sometimes extremely loud, which could definitely be reduced with fewer seats or more soundproofing measures (although perhaps they're not allowed to make any structural changes). - Apparently, no drink is included in the €25 brunch price (orange juice or similar). - Worn-out chair cushions. I wouldn't go there for brunch again; perhaps it's better otherwise.

A very sunny Sunday, the place was packed, the line was endless. Pretty poor organization, as there's no menu or board outside except for drinks, so you stand in line without knowing what the place has to offer. Then, of course, it takes a while for some people to find what they're looking for and pay, so the next person can be served. The coffee was good, the service extremely friendly and patient. Now for the food: Given the crowds, we opted for the buffet for €12 – a bad decision. Some of the containers were empty, the food cold, some dried out; no idea if it had been sitting there too long. I wouldn't say everything tasted bad, for example, the schnitzel was tasty but probably even better warm. They can definitely do better.

Great atmosphere to watch the sunset with coffee/tea/beer and relax to pleasant music. It's even better when the weather is nice.

We went for brunch with the big family. The restaurant was packed. The service was very good and friendly. Her name was Jessica. Really very friendly and accommodating. The food? Well….for the price? It wasn't replenished regularly. Very often empty containers and far too little food for these masses of people.

Very friendly and professional team. Went there with a group for coffee, cake and waffles and were well served.

Team Christmas party with Christmas buffet! Huge selection, everything was delicious, the service was very nice and quick. Price is completely okay for the offer. Highly recommended, gladly again

We were there as part of the winter magic and were looking for a place to breastfeed. We were immediately helped in a friendly manner, even though it was very busy!

What is disappointing is that their holiday packages with the geese have increased by five euros every year. Who else should be able to pay for that? We were happy to treat ourselves to this package, but starting this year we will no longer be ordering it. Even if everything becomes more expensive, you shouldn't take money out of the customer's pocket. Sad

Service completely overwhelmed. Waited 25 minutes for a small fries. Iced chocolate was fine, nothing more, nothing less.

Nice ambience. What was made of it was even more bitter. I saw the Grischäfer sign and thought about how disappointed my neighbor was with the brand. Now I understand him. Once a guarantee for quality - today for the fast trowel. No service. Ice cream from the chest, cake really OK.

Delicious tarte flambée, friendly staff and cold beer. If you sit outside you have a great view of the park.

Unfortunately you can only see it from the outside. The bathhouse with marble furnishings could be visited.

You may think the cappuccino is good here…but it’s coffee machine cappuccino. No barista no taste. Disappointed.

Easter brunch was OK. There was still room for improvement. Fruit would be great, as would a second type of meat. Coffee included in the price, we would have been happy. Service was great and the ambience too.

We went here on a Wednesday afternoon after work for an after-work beer/Aperol. -A great spot when the weather is good (sat on the terrace) - it was self-service, meaning we got the drinks inside, paid and then sat on the terrace - In terms of price I can only estimate the beer and the Aperol and that was good 👍 - The service at the counter was very nice Happy to come back!

Restaurant in the Orangery in the beautiful Karlsaue with good food and very friendly service. The waffles offered were very good.

As a group we spent a very nice afternoon there. Delicious cake.

We were here on Boxing Day. Good selection at the buffet, everything was very tasty and the service was top.

We ordered goose here - so to speak, eat the whole goose: 1/2 goose for 2 people, plus red cabbage, kale, dumplings, lots of sauce plus soup. For us, 2x1/2 goose was enough for 7 people, and we also made a few dumplings. Then it is also affordable as a banquet. We picked up the goose from the parking lot there - on Christmas Eve, shortly before 2 p.m. Thanks for the service. P.S. Goose tasted great, nothing tough or anything.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend and it was delicious. The location of the restaurant is a dream - the restaurant itself offers space for a lot of guests without you noticing it. There are currently some trees and benches in front of the door for the Christmas season and a fireplace in the middle. Unfortunately at the moment there is only a small menu and the option to book a delicious goose buffet for €39, which I can only recommend. From January onwards there will be a lunchtime brunch every Sunday from 10 a.m. I've read through it and I'll definitely take a photo of the inside here with my friends 😁 Let's hope that it will be open normally again next year and you can have a really tasty meal after a walk in the meadow or before

War da auf einer Weihnachtsfeier. Essen war mäßig und rie Bedienung verteilt. Espresso kam wohl direkt aus Italien, es dauerte Ewig und er war kalt. Der Laden istfür mich gestorben.

Freundliche Bedienung, aber lange Wartezeit auf das Mittagsessen aus einer sehr kleinen, langweiligen Auswahl.

Eine tolle Atmosphäre. Essen sehr lecker, nicht gerade günstig und man muss länger warten bis die Bedienung kommt.

Außenterrassenbewirtung ... erfolgt über Bestellung an der Theke im Restaurant. Wir waren an einem sonnigen Freitagnachmittag hier und es war seeehr schön. Freundlicher aufmerksamer Service und leckere Weinauswahl (der Grauburgunder warcsehr gut). Dazu sehr leckerer Kuchen. Saubere Sanitäranlagen und von der Orangerie aus eine schöne Sicht auf das tolle Gartenensemble und die Grünfläche. Zugang ins Restaurant über 5 Treppenstufen und WC's im Keller und somit nicht barrierefrei. Ambiente 4 von 5 Service 5 von 5 Geschmack 4 von 5 Preis-Leistungsverhältnis 4 von 5 ------------------------------------ Gesamtnote 4,25 von 5 Fazit: bei gutem Wetter eine top-Location in Kassel um Kuchen, Kaffee, Wein und Bier draußen in der Sonne zu genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Food was okay at the event. Acustics of the place is rather bad, as when too many people are inside it is similar to being in a small bar with lots of people being loud. Service was nice, everyone was helpful.

Wir waren eine Woche in Kassel, auf Grund der schlechten Öffnungszeiten haben wir es nur zwei mal hier hin geschafft. Beim ersten mal hatten wir nur Getränke und waren vom Ambiente sehr überzeugt, deswegen wollten wir auch gerne dort essen, nach dem wir es dann aber geschafft haben unsere Tagesplanung am letzten Tag anzupassen, da das Lokal ja schon um 19:00 schließt, wollte man uns um kurz vor 18:00 schon kein Essen mehr verkaufen. Mein Fazit ist die Lokation und das Ambiente sind toll aber der Besitzer sollte den Laden vielleicht an jemanden geben der was von Kundenfreundlichkeit versteht.

Heute das erste Mal dagewesen. Ambient war schön. Portion Pommes war echt super. Leider war aber die Dame an der Kasse sehr unfreundlich..

Leider Selbstbedienung und dafür recht hohe Preise. Das Essen war ok. Speisekarte bietet wenig Auswahl, besonders Vegetarierer und Veganer kommen hier zu kurz. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich. Die Stühle sind leider sehr unbequem.

Unverschämte Preise trotz Selbstbedienung

Haben zwei Eiskaffee und für unseren Enkel einen Kiba bestellt. Letzterer konnte in Selbstbedienung gleich mitgenommen, die Eiskaffee sollten an den Tisch serviert werden. Nach etwa einer halben Stunde warten: Nachfrage und Erinnerung. Ergebnis: Haben wir vergessen! Immerhin dann schnelle Lieferung. Personal schien überfordert, wir werden zukünftig eine andere Lokalität aufsuchen.

Für die Location/ Terrasse an sich würde ich gern 5 Sterne geben , aber für alles andere reicht es nicht für mehr als 3 Sterne :-( Die Preise sind extrem salzig und haben es echt in sich , ein Stück Blechkuchen für 4 Euro ist schon ordentlich, da bekommt man in anderen Locations schon ein gutes Stück Torte für. Bei den Preisen erwartet man zumindest Bedienung am Platz , aber es herrscht Selbstbedienung. Ich komme selbst aus Kassel und finde es sehr schade.

Montags bleibt die Küche kalt…wäre nett wen das mal im Internet hinterlegt wird, bevor man den Weg dort hin auf sich nimmt. Sollte ja möglich sein als professioneller Gastronom…..

Mega Location für größere Events. Top Service! Super freundliches Personal. Das Buffet war 1A. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher.

Einfach wunderbar.. mittags Brunch..sind begeistert..alles stimmt..Service spitze..super Mario hat alles im Griff..Speisen sehr frisch und grosse Auswahl..wir kommen wieder.. .

Ein besonderer Ort, inmitten der wunderschönen Karlsaue! Sehr aufmerksamer, netter Service. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren zum Brunch mit 10 Personen heute dort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Das Buffet war reichhaltig wie auf dem Flyer beschrieben und wurde ständig wieder aufgefüllt. Es war sehr schmackhaft und nett präsentiert. Schön wäre eine Getränkekarte auf dem Tisch gewesen, dann hätten wir bestimmt auch Wein und Sekt geordert. Danke für den schönen Sonntag in der Orangerie Kassel.

Prachtige plek in een heel groot park gelegen met lekker eten, beperkte kaart.

Bewertung in 2022. Tolle Location, nettes Personal und eine gute Küche. Anlässlich eines Firmenevents dort gewesen und einen netten Abend verbracht. Bei der Gelegenheit auch noch einige Installationen aus der Dokumenta2022 bewundert. Gelegen in einem schönen Park ist das schon ein Ort zum hingegen. Qualität der Speisen: 4 Service / Personal: 4 Location: 4 Alles in allem gute 4 Sterne.

Meine Bewertung bezieht sich auf eine private Veranstaltung, so dass ich eigentlich keine wirklich nachprüfbare Bewertung abgeben kann, aber: es war toll, superfreundliches Personal, hochwertiges in der hauseigenen Küche erstelltes Buffet, und die location ist einfach großartig!
