What a shame. We wanted to warm up and have a drink after enjoying the winter wonderland. Unfortunately, a snide employee ruined our plans, so after a frustrating wait, we decided to leave without ordering anything.

We spontaneously stopped in today for ice cream and coffee. The prices are very high, the waffle tasted of nothing, and the coffee was very watery. The view into the warm kitchen was shocking; you wouldn't want to eat anything there. The worst part was the restrooms, which were so dirty! We wished we hadn't left. We won't be back and can't recommend it.

We were very hungry and chose the rustic Sudhaus restaurant, but were unfortunately extremely disappointed. To begin with: apart from the (chef) owner, all the staff were very friendly. First point of criticism: it was unfortunately cold in the restaurant; this building could be made much cozier and more inviting. Second point: we ordered wild boar medallions with Spätzle, which unfortunately simply didn't taste like game. The sauce was far too runny and acidic, and the Spätzle were served with overcooked, ready-made mushrooms. It was simply not worth the price. A friend's vegetables were cold. We should mention that we were among the first guests at 6 pm, so it wasn't busy at that time. When our waiter asked us about the food and we gave our honest feedback, this was passed on to the chef, who unfortunately behaved completely inappropriately. We were three women and spoke respectfully and appropriately throughout. He gave us a lecture about the garbage people eat (but apparently no one complains about that), became loud and aggressive, and ultimately insulted us (your crap, get lost!) and then banned us from the premises. For reasons completely incomprehensible to us, he completely escalated the situation; we didn't demand anything or anything like that. We didn't even say we wanted to pay less. We were always polite. His behavior was the most appalling I've ever personally experienced. Pure disrespect. Even his colleagues apologized to us for his behavior. It can happen that a dish doesn't turn out perfectly. However, I expect professional conduct. A simple "I'm sorry you didn't like it" would have sufficed. Unfortunately, this is unacceptable in the restaurant industry, so I cannot recommend this restaurant unless they adopt a more customer-friendly approach. Thank you to the waiters for their understanding.
