This is our fourth time here. Initially, the quality of the individual dishes was very good, which is why we were happy to travel 100km. Unfortunately, the quality and cleanliness have declined significantly. Last time, the restrooms were very dirty, and this time they were no different. The iPad stand was also dirty. It gives me a bad feeling that the kitchen will be the same. The sushi is generally okay, but a bit dry. The kimchi, on the other hand, is great, as are the fried rice and yakitori. But we won't be back.

It was our first time here. It's very cozy and pleasantly quiet, and the temperature is very pleasant. You make your selections via tablet, which is very convenient. The food is freshly prepared and delivered to your table. Excellent 😀 Highly recommended.

The waitress who served us was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. Unfortunately, the dishes were often mixed up or not brought at all. The tablet had a broken screen, and one of us even cut himself on it. The owners take the money themselves, so it seems like the tips don't reach the waitresses. The quality and taste of the food are good. Nevertheless, at just under €30 per person, it's not enough, and unfortunately, we won't be coming back. Furthermore, the restrooms were a disaster, and they stank beyond belief.

The manager was super nice. But the manager standing at the entrance smoking and having to walk through the smoke to greet you was completely inappropriate. The benches were covered in all kinds of stains. They could be cleaned. A lot of the orders got mixed up, but we were okay with that. There was far too much ice in the drinks, which we couldn't add to the order. The food was okay, but not great. All in all, there's room for improvement.

It was very quiet and beautiful. The food was delicious and served fairly quickly. We were there during the week around lunchtime and didn't need to reserve a table 😊 I don't know if it's busier on weekends. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back ☀️

Incredibly poor experience All-you-can-eat for €30 per person sounds okay at first glance, if you don't know what kind of food you'll get afterward. By far the worst sushi I've ever eaten, coupled with almost worse service (I'm still waiting for dishes I ordered and have sometimes received dishes I didn't order). To top it off, for €4.20 you get an "iced tea" that's 99% water and 1% water with iced tea flavor. If you want to eat outside in the summer (over 20 degrees Celsius and sunny), that apparently isn't possible if the staff aren't up for it. Definitely not recommended.

We were regulars at Sakura Sushi for years and visited the restaurant regularly. The food was always good, the atmosphere pleasant, and we always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, this has changed significantly recently. We noticed several times that the service had become very unfriendly – especially from a male server, who we suspect is the owner. On our last visit, we wanted to give the restaurant another chance, but were treated so rudely right at our seat that we decided to leave – before we'd even ordered. It's a real shame that a once-lovely place has gone this way. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Five of us went to this sushi restaurant for an all-you-can-eat meal. Ordering is done via an iPad, which we found to be a modern and practical solution – we thought it was really cool. We were also impressed by the wide selection of dishes. There are many different sushi varieties, hot dishes, and side dishes, so there's something for everyone. After we were finally able to order, the food arrived at our table fairly quickly. We particularly enjoyed the seaweed salad, and many of the dishes were okay – not outstanding, but largely edible. Unfortunately, the start of the evening was rather disappointing. It took a very long time for any of the staff to even attend to us – we had to actively ask to be able to order. Overall, the staff (with the exception of one really nice lady) seemed rather listless and at times even slightly passive-aggressive. There was a fly in one of our drinks, and after we informed them, the drink was immediately replaced – which we found very positive. In terms of the quality of the food, much of it was rather mediocre. Much of the food seemed as if it had been sitting around for a while – some of the sushi seemed dry or not really fresh anymore. The wasabi was particularly disappointing: dry, tasteless, and more like old play dough in consistency. We also had to ask for and get bowls, soy sauce, and wasabi ourselves – we would have expected something different from this concept. Furthermore, not everything we ordered was actually served to our liking. Overall, the visit was unfortunately not convincing. Despite some positives, such as the large selection, the modern ordering system, and some delicious dishes, the negatives outweighed the negatives. We would therefore not visit this restaurant again. - A shame.

I've been here several times, and it's always been pretty good. I returned after a long time, and I have to say I was really disappointed. When we placed our first order, something was missing, and it continued like that for the next few rounds. For the second round, I had tuna/cucumber sushi, and it tasted rotten (molded). The sushi was generally very dry and not as tasty as before. I also had hair in my food, which was disgusting. After we paid and left, I had extreme stomach pain. I even threw up when I got home. We won't be going there again; I'm so disappointed!

We recently visited this "all-you-can-eat" restaurant and were really looking forward to a relaxing day. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but pleasant. Already on the second round of ordering, some of the food didn't arrive – without explanation. Several dishes were missing again on the third round. When we politely inquired and expressed our dissatisfaction, we were met with a completely inappropriate response. The manager came over and immediately became loud and aggressive – right in front of all the guests. Instead of behaving professionally or trying to find a solution, he shouted across the restaurant. What was particularly shocking was that he made racist remarks to my Black friend. When he legitimately asked if he was behaving in a racist manner, the manager literally replied "Yes" – a statement that is absolutely unacceptable. This kind of behavior is not only disrespectful but also deeply discriminatory. We were stunned and left the restaurant immediately. No one should have to endure this kind of treatment in a public restaurant. We absolutely cannot recommend visiting here.

My husband and I went to Sakura for dinner today. It was supposed to be a date, and it was supposed to be a great experience. Unfortunately, it wasn't. 90% of what was served was absolutely not fresh. My husband is suffering from severe stomach pain. (I've barely eaten anything, so I don't notice it that much, but my husband is definitely not well.) Everything that was served was either not fresh, expired, or smelled so funny that we couldn't eat it. We were actually about to order lunch, but the lady came up to us and told us to just order dinner, where we would have much better quality and more choice. How can an employee even say something like that? When I asked if they served ALCE, poor quality food, at lunch, she just started laughing and made other strange comments, which we absolutely didn't understand. Or she was so sweet and hinted to us that reused food would be served anyway 🤢 I specifically called ahead and asked if the selection for dinner and lunch was the same, and we were told that they ONLY didn't offer fried sushi at lunch, but otherwise everything was the same. It was different on the phone, but completely different in person!! We'll NEVER eat there again. Disgusting!! Almost €65 for nothing. WHAT A SHAME!

Well, I was there recently with my girlfriend, and I have to say that we used to feel much more comfortable. Things have changed for the worse. It started with the table reservation over the phone and ended with the small, packaged mochis we bought from the Asian market (which I can also buy myself). We haven't been this disappointed in a long time. And unfortunately, we won't be coming back any time soon. Good luck.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food wasn't as good as expected—it tasted rather mediocre and definitely didn't match the price. Even worse, however, was the service: The staff was unfriendly and we felt unwelcome. Furthermore, they only brought about half of what we had ordered. When we asked about it, we received only a rude response, but no solution. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience—we definitely won't be back.

We celebrated my birthday there, and I have to say, choosing from a buffet tray takes some getting used to. It's fine for 2-4 people, but a bit difficult for a larger group. The food was good, and the price was reasonable. I'd recommend it for young people, but for me, it's more old-school. 🙂

I've always enjoyed going there, but none of our orders arrived, or they were often wrong. Since the prices are expensive, I think it's outrageous to charge such a high price for average food. We asked for cutlery several times, but after 30 minutes, we got it ourselves because no one responded.

I went to Sakura with my wife yesterday, and it was truly disappointing. We reserved a table and arrived way too early. When we arrived, no one came to us until we called. We were then sent upstairs (first floor) because that was supposed to be "our table," but were then sent back down again because the place was already full. We were then provisionally assigned to a random table, where we waited for 20 minutes. We then asked when someone would be coming and whether we wanted to eat. Then we ordered, and everything took an incredibly long time. 50% of the food was either not fresh, cold, or reused. And some items didn't arrive at all. I threw up that same evening because something was apparently no longer good, and I paid €70 for it. Never again!!!

Unfortunately the worst sushi I have ever tried. Everything has mayonnaise on top, no hot food because of renovations, the sushi is barely rolled, hard rice. Everything we order was not tasty. Certain sea food seemed like expired. I would not recommend. Really expensive for the type of food that you served. Service was good, but we had to ask 2-3 times for what we needed. Some of the food we ordered never arrived. I hope you can improve & make it up for your business.

I recently ate at Sakura with my girlfriend, and unfortunately, our visit was anything but satisfactory. Right from the start, we noticed that the service was barely present – you serve yourself entirely via an iPad, which would be fine if everything ran smoothly afterward. Unfortunately, the opposite was the case: We had to wait a very long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, several of our ordered dishes were missing from the first round. This problem repeated itself in the second round – many dishes simply weren't brought. Only after we directly addressed the staff about it were at least some of the missing orders brought in. They probably wouldn't have arrived at all without asking. Such behavior is truly disappointing in a restaurant of this price range. Dining should be a pleasant experience, but the poor service and constant follow-up unfortunately made the evening more stressful than relaxing for us. It's a shame, because the concept actually has potential – if it were implemented correctly.

I ate at your place today with a friend after a long time, as the hot kitchen has been closed for the last few weeks. First of all, the fact that you still have to pay the full price for the all-you-can-eat option is completely unacceptable! Then the staff, unfortunately, are very bad and inattentive. I often pointed things out or asked for things and they either forgot or simply didn't do them at all. The drinks, I had a passion fruit spritzer, 90% juice and topped up with 10% still water? Where is the spritzer??? After asking, they didn't make a new one, but topped it up with the rest of the "sparkling" water, after which it had no taste of anything. 60% of our food never arrived and the employee I spoke to either didn't understand it or just wasn't interested. Unfortunately, that's completely unacceptable! And I also find it very questionable that you can't choose the flavor of ice cream or mochi yourself. What if you're allergic to something? You can't give any information anywhere. When paying, I asked if I could speak to the manager, but the staff again didn't respond and complied with the guest's request! It's a real shame, because the restaurant otherwise has potential!

SAD! I've eaten there many times with friends. The first few times were great. Everything was fantastic, including the staff, the food, and the atmosphere. Only in the last few months, the staff and the food have deteriorated, and yesterday was the peak! Orders were practically not taken at all. Over half of the items were missing from eight rounds, which is saying something. Most of the items tasted completely different than usual, NOT IN A POSITIVE WAY. On top of that, many items were simply wrong. If I had an allergy and they had given me the wrong thing I ordered, what would have happened then?? That's impossible! On top of that, the drinks we ordered simply didn't arrive. On top of that, when our drinks arrived an hour later, they simply took away one full drink. Why? The staff were very, very bad. Please, why are you saving on staff? It wasn't like this before! Everyone there works so listlessly and without any motivation, it's really SAD. And to top it all off, we waited almost 30 minutes to pay because we'd ordered dessert at the end that never arrived... five of the employees just stood there with their phones in their hands and ignored the people. When we spoke to them, we only got a listless reply like, "We'll have one in 30 minutes!" We then went up front ourselves and finally paid.

I've been eating there regularly with friends over the past few years. We were always very satisfied in the beginning. The ambiance is visually appealing and authentic, the location very central and therefore easy to reach. Unfortunately, the service and the food have deteriorated considerably. Today, almost half of the orders didn't arrive at our table. There were waits of up to 20 minutes between dishes. The dishes came across as very lackluster and often the wrong ones. One full drink was simply taken from the table, another never arrived. The service seemed listless and sometimes very slow. They didn't respond to criticism. Dessert didn't arrive either, which is why we were in a bad mood and just wanted to pay. Nobody wanted to bother with the payment either. Instead, half the waiters were on their smartphones. I don't think anyone would have even noticed if we had just left without paying. It's a real shame. Sakura has always been a standard address for us. Stop skimping on good staff and stick to the concept again. The other posts here say the same thing. Thanks for all the lovely evenings, but you've let up too much.

Disgusting! Unfriendly bartender, sushi plates arrived dirty, there was a fly in the jug with soy sauce, which unfortunately I only noticed after the first bite!! Wasabi was already dry, who knows how long it has been waiting for the next guest. When we said that we wouldn't eat this and that I was feeling sick, we were then allowed to pay for the drinks, which were only taken in one sip! Seats dirty, placemat stuck to table! Disgusting! The health department should urgently check here unannounced!

We've been to Sakura several times and it's always been good. The service was never the best, but the food was good. Today we had totally disgusting sushi, the edamame were inedible, old and undercooked... the sushi tasted like it came from Lidl or Aldi. The sweet sauce on some sushi makes things worse. At some point I became disgusted with eating. Sushi with chicken was very bad. When we pointed out the edamame to the first waiter, he just nodded and moved on. When we pointed out the bad sushi, the boss says??! This costs €12.80. Does that mean you shouldn't expect good sushi? He definitely didn't understand why we didn't think the sushi was fresh because the shop was only open for 2 hours that day. Nobody will accommodate you.

Always delicious at Sakura😊 Sometimes it takes a while for the rounds you ordered to arrive, but that's okay, especially when it's busy. You have time for that, too😉 Plus, the wait can be much more pleasant with a good conversation or a drink, as they also have a small selection. Even for people who don't eat sushi (like me), there are plenty to try. You can really feel at home there, and the atmosphere is very inviting, especially if you go with friends or family. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Food is usually cold, service staff clearly have no idea what they are doing and how service works. Not knowing German and being extremely unfriendly is probably the order of the day. When asked what kind of dessert the answer was: yes. Plates were thrown listlessly onto the table. It also happened that there was paper lying/sponging in the food which turned out to be an order slip. The service staff walk around with a no-nonsense attitude and don't respond to the guests. A foreign language is spoken. Let's just say the restaurant had better times.

Impossible the condition...I was eating there with a friend and was shocked. Not only does the food arrive extremely late and carelessly prepared... the service was a disgrace. The food was slammed on the table, zero friendliness or any greeting and the highlight was when I asked what kind of mochi it was because it wasn't anywhere. The first waitress didn't understand German and the second cheekily said he didn't know and that I should just try it instead of just asking in the kitchen. The experience was completely thrown away by such incompetent service. You won't see me here anymore!

Terrible service, we sat down, all people in the restaurant were given tablets from the menu, we were brought a paper one. But before that, we waited for him for 10 minutes, then when we were ready to order another 10-15 minutes, no one came to us, the staff simply ignored us. Never go to this place! The service is terrible. Waiting for the menu can age you years, and when you finally get it, you'll still have to wait forever for the waiter. He doesn't care how long you sit there - he can just take a smoke break and disappear. Then you wait about an hour for your food, and when it finally comes, it's tasteless and falling apart. The service is terrible, the staff is rude, and no one cares about you. DON'T GO if you don't want to spoil your mood!

We often go to Sakura because we love the decor and the food there. Unfortunately, you can tell that things have really slowed down in the last few months. Some dishes have to be ordered several times before they reach the table. Wasabi and ginger are no longer part of the place setting and must be ordered individually. Ginger often doesn't arrive and we received as much wasabi for four people as a 10 cent piece, so it's a joke. The toilets look bad, even when the soap was empty, no one was refilled, the trash cans are overflowing, and unfortunately that wasn't just the case yesterday. We think it's a shame because it was our favorite sushi restaurant and don't know if we'll come back, even though we actually like the food :(

Nicely furnished, but unfortunately that was almost it. The food was cold, the rice was rather sticky, and a different sauce was smeared on the sushi every time, which didn't taste good and wasn't tolerated because it was spicy. Only half of what was ordered arrived. And the ice cream, which was stated as a different flavor (which you couldn't choose yourself) was just vanilla. When we asked, we were told that there was only vanilla. So both the selection and the food itself can be had better elsewhere. Too bad

Reservations made over the phone were not implemented and the reception was very unfriendly. The food tasted ok, but there was very little choice and it wasn't really what you ordered. The waiters are very rude, they don't say what is being served or ask if everything is good or if it tastes good. The waiters continue to talk loudly at the counter and are very annoying. As a guest you don't really feel comfortable there. Order is not a priority there, as there is chaos behind the preparation station, packaging material is lying all over the place, folders are dusty and unsorted, papers are flying around. There's all sorts of stuff lying around that the staff doesn't seem to care about. They definitely haven't heard anything about hygiene. When I went to the toilet before I wanted to leave, it just smelled like shit on the way there, there was garbage all over the place, the squat toilets were full of urine and hadn't been flushed and the sink was completely dirty. More appearance than reality! I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone and I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

That was really delicious. Fresh - plentiful and it feels like every bit of sushi there is! 👏 I didn't know the ordering principle at all... but I think it's great. Will definitely come back! Yes, the toilets should be overhauled - but even there, everything that needs to be done can still be done - and it's usually the customers' fault - that really can't and shouldn't detract from the overall impression of the ambience, service and food!

Once and never again. Point 1. The all you can eat was sometimes a disaster. My son then became sick and vomited. The reason was probably the squid rings. Point 2. The name and the ambience are advertised as Japanese, as is the food, but the staff is absolutely not, so you can imagine what the outcome is. Point. 3 they have toilets that not only smell awful but won't be repaired for months. One of the two sinks is still covered, no soap came out of either soap dispenser, the flush buttons were torn out and in general it looked unclean. I'll save myself pictures because others already have the same ones. Some of the toilets have holes or mold on the walls and the paint has also been rubbed off. When it comes to wasabi I have to say that it is old and already dry and dark and not fresh and light. The green tea I ordered had leftover leaves in it. So it wasn't made traditionally Japanese.

Unfriendly waitresses who didn't even let us put the dishes together. The sushi was just as good as that from Rewe and anyone who even dares to try the all-you-can-eat of the person sitting next to them will be rudely attacked. Very hungry, we opted for the rustic brewery and were unfortunately extremely disappointed. First of all: apart from the (chef) manager, all the staff were very nice. 1. Criticism: Unfortunately, the location was cold; this place in particular could be made more cozy and inviting. 2) We ordered wild boar medallions with spaetzle, which unfortunately just didn't taste like game. The sauce was far too runny and sour, and the ready-made mushrooms (overcooked) were served on top of the ready-made spaetzle. Simply not appropriate for the price. A friend's vegetables were cold. We should mention that we were among the first guests at 6 p.m., so it wasn't very busy at that time. When our waiter asked us about the food and gave us our honest feedback, we told the chef, who unfortunately behaved completely inappropriately. There were three women, and we spoke respectfully and appropriately throughout. He gave us a lecture about the garbage people eat (but no one would complain), got louder and aggressive, and finally insulted us (get rid of your stupid nonsense!) and banned us from the premises. For reasons completely incomprehensible to us, things escalated completely; we didn't demand anything or anything. We didn't even say we wanted to pay less. Our tone was consistently friendly. His behavior was as abysmal as anything I've ever personally experienced. Pure disrespect. Even his colleagues apologized to us for his behavior. It can happen that a dish turns out badly. However, I expect professional behavior. A "I'm sorry you didn't like it" would have been sufficient. Unfortunately, this is a no-go in the restaurant industry, so I wouldn't and can't recommend this restaurant unless they adopt a more customer-friendly approach. Thanks to the waiters for their understanding.

We spontaneously stopped in today for ice cream and coffee. The prices are very high, the waffle tasted of nothing, and the coffee was very watery. The view into the warm kitchen was shocking; you wouldn't want to eat anything there. The worst part was the restrooms, which were so dirty! We wished we hadn't left. We won't be back and can't recommend it.
