Das erste Mal persische Küche und wir waren begeistert. Als komplette Newbies hat man uns die Spezialitäten näher gebracht und uns gut beraten. Das Essen war lecker und das Preisleistungsverhältnis war top!!! Wenn wir wieder mal in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gern noch einmal vorbei.

Wir waren schon mehrmals hier und das Essen war immer fantastisch. Alles, was wir probiert haben, war köstlich, aber ich kann den Mast-o-Moosir besonders empfehlen. Er war superlecker und absolut empfehlenswert! Die Bedienung war außerdem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Besuch noch schöner gemacht hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sarayam ist ein wirklich schönes persisches Restaurant, das sich perfekt als Zwischenstopp nach einem Besuch von Schloss Charlottenburg eignet. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend, besonders der Kebab und die Reisgerichte, die wir probiert haben. Alles war warm, wohltuend und geschmackvoll, ohne zu schwer zu sein. Es ist die Art von Essen, bei der man einfach mal zur Ruhe kommt und es genießt. Was genauso sehr wie das Essen herausstach, war der Service. Die Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, und diese Herzlichkeit trug wirklich zum Gesamterlebnis bei. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist ruhig und gemütlich, nichts ist gehetzt oder aufdringlich. Es liegt außerdem großartig und passt daher ideal in einen Tag, an dem man das Schloss besichtigt hat und anschließend einen schönen Platz zum Essen sucht. Insgesamt ist es definitiv ein Restaurant, in das ich gerne wiederkommen würde. Gutes Essen, freundliche Menschen und ein wirklich unkompliziertes und angenehmes Esserlebnis.

Ich hatte irgendwas mit Reis und Hähnchen. Eigentlich besteht das Essen hauptsächlich von Reis. 3 kleine Stücke Hähnchen in einer säuerlichen Sauce eingetaucht, Viel Sauce aber leider absolut nicht mein Geschmack. Vielleicht habe ich Peach gehabt. Aber für mich nicht mehr als 2 Sterne da die Menge nicht ausreicht für ein Hähnchen- Gericht.

Wir hatten Kebab und Ghorme Sabzi bestellt und es hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Der Reis war von einer der schlechtesten Qualitäten, die wir je gegessen haben, und sowohl das Ghorme Sabzi als auch der Kebab waren extrem ölig. (Man konnte das Öl auf dem Ghorme Sabzi etwa einen Zentimeter hoch sehen!) Wir können das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Das Essen hier war wirklich fantastisch. Die Grillplatte war definitiv das Highlight – alles war geschmackvoll, perfekt gewürzt und optimal zubereitet. Auch der Reis war köstlich und passte hervorragend zu den Grillgerichten. Die Bedienung war zudem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Besuch noch schöner machte. Tolles Essen, toller Service und insgesamt ein wirklich schönes Restaurant. Von mir gibt es definitiv 5 von 5 Sternen!

Katastrophe. 10min auf die Karte gewartet. Dann kam 20 min niemand. Ohne zu essen gegangen. Update: Auf Bewertungen können sie schnell frech antworten, bedienen können sie gar nicht. Noch nie sowas schlechtes erlebt!

Perfektes persisches Essenserlebnis

Wirklich lecker und authentisch und vor allem sehr freundlich. Als Iranerin war mein Herz voller Stolz, als ich gesehen habe, dass das Bedienungspersonal persische Pins als Zeichen ihrer Solidarität mit unseren Menschen im Iran trägt.

Hervorragendes Essen, erstklassiger Service und tolle Atmosphäre

Mein Partner und ich waren in diesem Restaurant zum Abendessen. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und sauber. Meiner Meinung nach war das Kobideh stellenweise etwas zu wenig durchgegart, und das Barg war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu zäh. Leider hat uns das Essen insgesamt nicht wirklich überzeugt, aber das Ambiente war angenehm.

Die Atmosphäre und die Musik waren sehr traditionell und persisch. Der Service war perfekt. Wir bestellten Schaschlik und Koobideh. Das Schaschlik war wirklich gut und schmackhaft, aber das Koobideh war weder zart noch saftig und so stark durchgebraten, dass es teilweise verbrannt war.

Ich war zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Die Qualität des Essens ist gut! Es ist sehr schön angerichtet und der Service ist gut! Ich komme gerne wieder, um weitere Gerichte zu probieren, und empfehle es meinen Freunden.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und sehr lecker. Juje Kebab und Chenje waren zart und perfekt durchgegart. Alles war frisch und heiß serviert. Der Koobideh war auch gut, nur etwas fettig für meinen Geschmack. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, respektvoll und aufmerksam. Insgesamt eine tolle Erfahrung – ich komme gerne wieder!

Weihnachtsfeier hier und es war wirklich hervorragend. Sehr großzügige und herzliche Bewirtung, ausgezeichnetes Essen und ein rundum gelungener Abend. Ein großes Dankeschön an den Inhaber und das gesamte Team für die professionelle Organisation und den tollen Service. Absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The food was delicious. However, I have to say the service wasn't so good. I often had to ask for things to be forgotten, incorrect items were brought and charged, and an extra tip was added beforehand without my asking.

Leider war unser Koobideh an vielen Stellen angebrannt. Auch der Reis war von durchschnittlicher Qualität. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, was ich persönlich sehr gut finde. Wenn Sie am Wochenende hingehen, empfiehlt es sich, im Voraus zu reservieren.

Unfortunately, I took this photo way too late again. The rice was extremely delicious. I think they didn't skimp on the saffron, and the berries, together with the almost €20, are worth the price. The salad lacked a bit of acidity for me. The two minced meat skewers were good.

Our first visit was based on the existing reviews, but I can't understand the positive feedback regarding the quality of the food. The quality of the rice and the kebabs didn't meet our expectations at all. Despite the low occupancy, the wait for the food was unreasonably long.

This restaurant, conveniently located right next to the Charlottenburg Palace grounds, is easily accessible by foot. If you plan a morning tour, you can reach it swiftly for lunch. As a vegetarian, I often set low expectations, but this place truly exceeded my expectations. I savored a delightful Eggplant Stew paired with saffron rice—the most delectable saffron rice I’ve ever had. The stew was simply amazing, and the eggplant was tender. Their marinated tofu was equally impressive. While the restaurant offers a lunch buffet, it doesn’t have many vegetarian options. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, our experience today on our first visit was anything but good. The service was extremely poor, or even nonexistent. It wasn't busy, and despite taking orders, only one of two drinks arrived. The food was okay, but not fresh. The salad was brown, and the dips were soggy and not as per the menu (it was supposed to contain walnuts and raisins, but there was half a walnut, not raisins). My girlfriend had a stomach ache afterward. When we paid (after asking three times), the waiter simply entered a 15% tip on the card machine... We won't be back. What a shame.

As a Persian and a tourist in Berlin, I found this restaurant through a recommendation on Google. I have tried Persian food in other European cities before, such as Hamburg, Budapest, and most of the Persian restaurants in the Copenhagen area. I can say this is the best: the quality, the large portion sizes, the Persian-style decoration, and the friendly behavior. We had a fun time. Thank you!

We've had raw meat several times now. After pointing this out several times, it was still not taken into account and we had to pay the full price. There wasn't even an apology for it.

Beautifully designed restaurant. Seating area only inside. The tables and chairs weren't particularly good, the table was wobbling. I've been here several times before but this time I tried the buffet for €20. It looked very small, but all the important dishes were there. The taste is also very good. Drinks are not included in the buffet. So I can recommend it!

The food was good and worth the price and the ambience was really nice. Not really many options if you are vegan. But recommended if you want to try somethin other than Pizzas, Pasta and Döners.

In the 2nd week of April we wanted to spend a nice evening with 4 people in Saray with Persian cuisine, which is famous for its variety and taste. At the end of the evening, disappointment prevailed for us. Our table reservation, which we made a few days in advance using the restaurant's own system on the website, could not be found. Luckily it wasn't full and we were given a table in the middle of the restaurant near the cloakroom. There are nicer tables here. The starters we ordered (hummus, tabbouli salad) with small flatbreads, the khoresht with chicken leg and eggplant and the famous Persian saffron-pistachio ice cream as dessert were very tasty. The “spicy” lentil soup, on the other hand, was bland and watery, the lamb skewers needed to be grilled more visible and tastier, and the lamb flatbread was undercooked and soggy. The service was far from oriental cordiality and seemed listless. The Saray could do much more with itself; It doesn't even come close to fulfilling the potential that lies within it. Too bad.

The restaurant is nice. The portion size and the price are good, BUT unfortunately the taste is not convincing. The meat was ok, but even though it was advertised as being seasoned, it wasn't a bit. The rice is a dry affair and so is the salad with the ready-made dressing (pretty bland). The waiters aren't particularly attentive either. Card payment is possible.

We stumbled upon Saray – Persian Kitchen in Charlottenburg by chance and decided to have a coffee instead of eating. It was a great surprise! The staff was super nice and accommodating, and the coffee was really tasty. We sat outside and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere - definitely a relaxed place to visit again. The restaurant definitely makes you curious about Persian food, and we will definitely try it next time!

It was my first time there and I was disappointed. The bread was delicious. The rice was good too. The chicken fillet was very firm. It was salty. The minced lamb skewer was not good. It was inedible. This tasted very close to fatty. The Ashreshte was extremely tasty and extremely good. It tasted like Grandma's. I ordered room temperature water but got cold water instead. Very disappointing. Very very bad restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this.

We had the pleasure of visiting this Persian restaurant and we absolutely love it! As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt comfortable thanks to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The furnishings are tasteful and convey an authentic Persian flair. The food was simply fantastic! The dishes were fresh, lovingly prepared and perfectly seasoned. I would particularly like to highlight the delicate kabab and the delicious starters such as the creamy Kashk-e Bademjan and the refreshing Mast-o-Khiar. The saffron rice dishes were also an absolute highlight. The service was first class - friendly, attentive and very accommodating. You immediately felt like you were in good hands. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience Persian cuisine at its best. An absolute must for gourmets and friends of oriental cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

PRO: Tried all the Persian restaurants in the city. This one is the best in terms of quality and price. The team is very nice and I come here almost every week now. CONS: Unfortunately there is no parking in front of the restaurant and it closes at 11 p.m.

Overall, the food was just mediocre. Chelokabab Soltani in particular the meat was lukewarm, the starter Kashkbademdjan (eggplant paste) had nothing to do with the original dish. We also had a vegetarian dish, which was delicious. What really bothered us was the smell of smoke and cooking that spread throughout the restaurant.

Very nice little restaurant with a separate lounge to relax and enjoy tea. This was our first visit to a Persian restaurant. The food was top and wholesome. The recommended red wine also went well with the food. The staff was very attentive, friendly and overall a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We had a vegetarian with us who also got her money's worth. The toilets are in the basement. I haven't seen an alternative for wheelchair users - please just ask. It's worth it!

The food is really tasty and successful but the waiter first asked if we can pay with cash and we said yes. Then he came and told me the receipt was 37.5€ and i gave him 40€ and 2.5€ was the tip. Then I realised when he still was on the table that I paid more than I was supposed to. And since he was not able to speak English well, my Persian friend helped me to make him understand the situation. After the solution, my Persian friend told me that the waiter told my friend that I was okay with paying 40€? I mean even if I am fine with it, you are still obliged to tell me the correct amount of what I am supposed to pay. You should be careful when you PAY THE RECEIPT OBVIOUSLY THERE. For this matter I am really sorry because it was one of mu favourite restaurants to go…

I’ve been to this restaurant several times, but my experiences have consistently been disappointing. The service is poor, and the food is often not what I ordered. On some occasions, I was even charged for items I didn’t order, with the staff claiming it was acceptable because the prices were the same. The cleanliness is also an issue—particularly the toilets, which are not well-maintained. It’s always unpleasant to go there just to wash my hands. One of the servers, a woman, has been rude and unfriendly during my visits, making the experience even worse. What’s more concerning is how the management handles feedback. If you leave a review on Google highlighting their service issues, they respond harshly, accusing reviewers of lying. You can see examples of the owner’s defensive and accusatory replies under other low-rated reviews.

Attention. Please also take a look at other common rating portals! That's not entirely true with appearances. ... dish 93. Out of 11 people, two enjoyed the food. I can't understand the good reviews to be honest. The service was nice but ignored countless orders, two people's drinks came way too late even though the food was already in front of them. The waiter didn't ask if we needed anything else. We first had to ask for new cutlery because it went into the kitchen with the starter plates. At some point we put the plates together ourselves because they were in our way. The waiter gave you everything as if he didn't know any different. We had to actively draw attention to ourselves even though the store was empty except for another small group. A colleague got his meal when everyone else had already finished. There was no excuse for it, he still paid the full price. I give 2 stars for the service because ordering via the online booking system was so uncomplicated and an older man put a few chocolate balls on the table for our Christmas party. We weren't asked if it was tasty or if everything was OK. On the contrary, we were still looked at strangely because we paid by card and didn't have any cash with us. For this mush in the picture 14.90 (added rice and a dollop of mint yoghurt.) I paid 35 euros, €7.90 for semi-cold eggplant cream with a little bread. (The baskets were not filled either.) Addendum: The response to my criticism not only shows racist nature but does not address the criticism. Instead, this is insulted in a personal way. For this I withdraw my 2 stars.

After waiting around 1 hour to 1.5 hour and by our following up they said "sorry we were busy and we are not prepared your food!!" and they didn't give anything to us and we went out without eating anything with no acceptable appologize (even we paid for our drinks while most of them even not used yet). I'm glad that had enough proof and I sent them to Google. so after this, I never ever delete this review, please do not go to this rude restaurant!!! Worst ever service. The person serving the food was pretending like she is doing us a favour. Forgot the salad, brought it after we had our dinner. Was showing tantrums on the counter after taking our order. Like she literally threw the menu back at counter after taking the order from us.

Interestingly, I received an email from Google that the restaurant owner made a complaint about my review. It’s so interesting that I see instead of trying to improve their customer service, they are trying to erase the problem. They even deleted their rude reply to my review.

Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Das Essen didn't convince me. Das Mahiche had einen starken Fettgeschmack, which was unpleasant, and the Bakhtiari-Kebab could have been better. Zum Schluss war der Baklava-Teller überhaupt nicht frisch! The staff were friendly. But I was not completely satisfied with the food. The muscle tasted too much of fat which was not pleasant, and the bakhtiari kebab could have been better. Finally, the baklava plate was not fresh at all!

A lovely evening with very tasty food. The restaurant is lovingly furnished and designed. Everything is wonderful!

We discovered this shop spontaneously while passing by and were excited about the Persian cuisine. The location next to Charlottenburg Palace is very nice. The service was friendly, but it took a little longer to be served. We found the food okay, but not particularly good. The naan bread didn't taste fresh, the side salad had no taste at all and some of the lamb was very tough. The price is okay for the location and the fresh mint tea was also very tasty.

This food in this photo and in this restaurant tastes amazing, and it’s the main reason I keep coming back to this restaurant! The other dishes are decent, but nothing particularly special. The staff are generally fine, but some of them can get a bit short-tempered at times. The atmosphere feels a bit gloomy, mostly due to the music they play. Still, I would recommend visiting just to try the dish in the photo- it’s definitely worth it.
