First time eating Iranian food and it SLAPPED! Absolutely amazing! Service was amazing- everyone was super lovely and my iranian friend said it was authentic.

Very delicious! Persian cuisine is so underrated. Not all meals on the menu are available all days because they prepare them always fresh. All meals are delicious so it‘s not a problem.

First food stop of our holiday. 10/10. Lovely woman and amazing prices. If I could give a million stars I would. We had the kebab, aubergine, and shami lori. Also MASSIVE portions plus free tea and melon.

It was absolutely delicious! One portion is perfect for sharing, and there are also vegan and vegetarian options. The freshly squeezed juices are especially recommended. All in all, a truly 5/5! 🫚

This is a really cute little family-run place with delicious Iranian dishes that taste like in Iran. The service is super friendly. It took a little bit long, so you shouldn't be in a hurry. But it's all freshly prepared, so it's worth the wait.

I’m not gonna lie, this is one of my favorite cafe restaurants in Berlin. Great food, great people, great vibe, and oh my god the owners are so damn nice. I just wish the place was a bit bigger. I love all the food they make. They usually have different options each day, so it’s a good idea to call and check what they have before you go. They also make an amazing “kale pache” but you need to preorder it. And don’t miss their “halim” which is available every Sunday.

Absolutely loved the kebab koobideh and halim at this cozy, family-run restaurant. The koobideh was perfectly seasoned—juicy, tender, and grilled to perfection. You could taste the care that went into every skewer. The halim was equally impressive: warm, comforting, and rich with flavor, like something a Persian mother would make. The hospitality was just as memorable—genuine and welcoming. A true hidden gem that feels like home.

We discovered this café/restaurant by chance. It is a treasure trove for the palate. If you want an authentic Persian restaurant, just come here. It definitely deserves its 4.8 stars. It is Cozy and very nice condition. There is no menu as every day there are daily specials such as, kebab, ghorme sabzi, gheyme bademjun, akber juje... and everything is prepared very freshly. I can only highly recommend homemade Iranian cakes with rose water with almonds and nuts. All meals are also available to take away.

Für unsere Verteidigungsfeier haben wir verschiedene Iranische Gerichte von diesem Restaurant bestedlt, darunter Kashk-e Bademjan, verschiedene Sorten Mast und Borani (Rote Bete, Aubergine, Spinat, Knoblauch), Börek, Wurst, Sambouseh, Dolmeh, Kotlet und auf ihre Empfehlung hin auch Schami Lori. Sie haben uns even Brot dazugegeben. Da wir nicht waren Berlin, haben sie uns freundlicherweise Servierschalen zur Verfügung gestellt und uns beim Arrangieren gehelpen. Die Besitzer waren unbelievably patient, friendly and attentive - fast wie Familienmitglieder! Die Qualität der Speisen was excellent and tasted like homemade. Auch die Preise waren sehr fair. Als wir am Abend die Schalen zurückbrachten, wurden wir mit Tea und Rosinenkeksen besälteit. A wonderful experience! I hope that I can go back to Berlin soon and visit this fantastic restaurant. . . For the defense ceremony, we ordered several types of Iranian food from this restaurant, including eggplant curd, various types of yogurt and burani (onion, eggplant, spinach, shallot), burek, sausage, samosa, dolme, cutlet, and at their suggestion, Shami Lori. Along with the food, they kindly brought us bread. Since we were not in Berlin, they not only provided us with dishes to serve food, but also helped to set the table. Their behavior was extremely friendly and kind, just like family members The quality of the food was unique and its taste was like home cooking. The price was also very fair. At night, when we returned the dishes, they welcomed us with tea and raisin biscuits. It was a great experience and I hope to visit this restaurant again.

One of the best Persian Cousine with the food taste like Home

The aroma of croissants and coffee filled the entire square in front of this small, cozy café, so I invited myself here for breakfast. They have a wide selection of fresh croissants at really great prices. I highly recommend you try it!

Beautiful (I guess) Persian breakfast experience! Superb cardamom tea! Delicate, fragrant, very light saffron cake! I think no butter, but really worth trying! Bullgur (I hope it's spelled like this) is new for me, but absolutely worth repeating! Spicy tasty! To be repeated and recommended!

I went to this cafe restaurant for the first time today and I have to say that the food was really delicious! I feel like I'm at home, very local food, very nice service and the music is typically Persian! 🥰 It definitely won't be the last time I come here. Definitely recommended!

I had ‘Kardamom’ on my radar for the longest time and we finally visited on a lovely autumn day. With nostalgic Iranian Persian songs playing in the background and unpretentious vibes, this place takes one home. We had Halim and Kabab-e Tabeie and both had been prepared with love and were super flavorful. The menu is small and changes daily but I don’t find it lacking. I would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely location. Note: Cash-only.

The most delicious Iranian food in Berlin

Positive points: - Great food! We tried “shami lori” and it was just great! I highly recommend it. Also we had kebab that was also of high quality. Rice was also of good quality. :)) - Delicious and fresh cookies! 🍪 - They were very kind, and we had a very positive feeling there. Things to improve: The appearance of the cafe does not deliver this message of cleanness. I hope they improve it, because the food is very good that it is a pity if the appearance and cleanness of the restaurant is not that strong. Because of the food and the waiters and the chef for cooking such delicious foods, I recommend this place. But if you are looking for a fancy and super clean cafe, you might be a bit disappointed.

We go to this café almost every week. It has super friendly staff, unbeatable prices, and best persian dishes in Berlin. They usually have 2-3 dishes for each day of week. You can see the menu on their Instagram page, or simply call and ask. Tip 1: It's a place to chill, not rush. Tip 2: If you go there in the weekend, it's better to call and make sure they have room for you.

I had a lunch here with a friend of mine who suggested this café. He told me that the food is changing regularly, so we ordered what they served for the day. We were served tea and cookies first and then came our food. This was a food to remember, a food that made me feel things. There isn’t a place in Berlin where I had such a delicious food before that brought me back to my childhood in an instance. Everything is fresh and the spices they use are just so on point. The stew was so warm and everything in it was so tender I could cry of happiness. Definitely worth the visit. Incredibly kind service. Cosy atmosphere.

Although I haven't tried any of the main dishes, I was extremely happy with the service and the atmosphere. I had an "Ash Reshteh" twice there and every time it tasted great, just as I expected. The staff there are very kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for an evening chill with family and friends.

If you want to experience Persian homemade food . Also they have food from Lorestan which is a rare thing and you can’t even find it in restaurants in Iran . The sisters who run the restaurant are super nice and generous .

What incredibly good food! Rarely have I eaten such excellent Persian cuisine. The staff is super friendly. Under no circumstances should you leave the restaurant without a dessert, it simply rounds off the good meal perfectly. We felt very comfortable there with our baby and were given a table that had plenty of space for the stroller. Absolute recommendation!

WOW! We were there spontaneously today and have to say that the food there was really, really good. The menu is very plain and simple, there isn't always everything, but since almost everything was sold out, the nice woman prepared something for us again, and by far the best meal I've had at an Iranian restaurant in a long time (Shami Lori ) a culinary delight. The service was great and the food was a 10/10. We'll definitely be back.

The best and most important thing is the very, very good behavior of the restaurant owners. They are very kind, warm and lovely and this is the reason that makes you want to come back again.

Halal Persian cafe It was so authentic and the flavours were so refreshing. It's a small setup so waiting times can be a bit longer.

Honestly I've been to many Iranian restaurants since I left Iran and I've never felt more like home in Berlin than tonight. Very very welcoming staff, great authentic Kabab Tabei and a very cozy place. 100% I'll be coming back here many more times.

I have been to Café Kardamom twice in a few days. The first time my partner and I dined on kebab and lubiah polo which were delicious. Not all dishes on the menu are available every day, but I consider this as a further guarantee of the tastiness and care used in the ingredients at Café Kardamom. The second time we ate their wonderful breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful and the environment is very pleasant. I hope to return soon, places like this are good for the spirit and liveliness of the neighborhood!

Tried one of the nice Iranian restaurants in Berlin. Had a great time there. Service was excellent, beginning with a cup of tea, followed by a wait for the food. It took a bit, but the quality and freshness were worth it. I had fish with vegetable rice, and it tasted delicious.

Small and cozy place serving delicious Persian delights. Food was tasty but not all options from the menu card were available. Less options for vegan/ vegetarian people. But place is very cozy and owners are welcoming. Lamb cooked in walnut and apple sauce was very tasty.

It was quite okay. Only the toilet and the anteroom with cloakroom didn't please me.

After 20 years of being vegetarian, I had the veggie version of Halim for the first time in my life. I've forgotten the original taste of Halim, but it tastes good.

I loved this restaurant. As a Persian, I definitely suggest this place. It reminded me of my mom's cooking. The staff also was very nice and gentle.

Update 2: Visit cardamom recently and tried their aubergine dish, very yummy. ------ Update 1: I can't say enough about how accommodative and hospitable the staff is 🙏 This time I tried Shaami Kebab and Halim and both tasted fantastic 😍😋 I should also add that Kardamom prepares the food daily and fresh 🌱 Cash only 💵 ----- The staff is friendly and the food is freshly prepared for the day and served just like homemade home. They also bake Persian pastry like Napoleonish sweet (did I use the correct name? 😀), and offer traditional Persian drinks as well. There are some tiny bits that can be improved: - The bowl of Abgoosht was completely filled in, and I appreciate that they do it out of kindness, but it was inconvenient to then mix it with the bread. So I'd say if it was filled just 70% would have been much easier. - When the guest chooses to make the "Goosht-kubideh" by themselves, I suggest providing them with something similar to the traditional pot used in Iran. The bowl they provided could easily break and as they had out two portions in the same bowl, it didn't have any space to maneuver and mix the contents 😅 - I think the bread offered wasn't fully baked.

Don't be fooled if they call themselves 'Café' (most probably because of their small space): for most of the customers it is a wonderful restaurant where you can experience the original taste of Persian cuisine.

Mein Freund und ich waren wirklich begeistert, dass wir in Berlin iranische home-made Küche genießen konnten, sowohl vegetarisch, als auch nicht vegetarisch. Wir haben uns über inklusiven Tee und die iranischen Cookies sehr gefreut. Die Begrüßung und der Service waren warm und freundlich. Gerne wieder, wenn wir es nach Berlin schaffen.
