Generally the restaurant interior design is better than most of Persian restaurants in Berlin. But the high price doesn’t worth it. I ordered oven kebab and obviously it was bitter. Later I finished it at home and found the burned onions.

Really delicious Persian food with friendly service. Wide range of brunch options available with Persian twists or just European. Love the menu and the vibe of the restaurant. People are not too squeezed. There's a bar facing the window so you can dine alone if wanted. Vege and vegan menus available. Extensive café menu with oat and soy milk options

Went there the other day with my friends, had the chicken and rice but the quality wasn't like the Persian food I had before from other restaurants. Another problem and ruined our day is that apparently the owner (or the manager because he was ordering around the staff) likes beautiful girls more than other customers. The table next to us was treated so much better. He kept coming at them flirting, smiling, giving free stuff and not even asking us once if we need something. He's also very rude with the staff there, as soon as he left the table next to us and back near the staff, his smile would go away and being angry and yelling at the people working there. Overall the hype over this restaurant feels so fake and not genuine. Edit: I like that in their response to my criticism, they say we treat people equally then going to say the next table were friends or regular customer! Also NO they were not your regular or friends cause I heard them talking about being there for the first time. Keep lying.

On my third or fourth visit now and this is slowly becoming my favorite restaurant in Berlin. My wife has a gluten allergy and was taken great care of and I had a saffron chicken sandwich this time and it was absolutely out of this world. Merci! We’ll be back soon I hope!

WOW! I wish I had come sooner! The staff are welcoming from the moment you step in. The food is served quickly, the portions are VERY filling, there is a good variety of food to pick from, and all is well priced. The plates/mugs/ceramics are also very pretty and fitting to the atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and delicious food

I went there for a lunch on a working day. The food was prepared pretty fast and I could start eating a few minutes after arriving. Volume and quality was pretty decent, compared to the rest of the restaurants in the area, I would say the price over quality is more than fair.This meal could be shared by two people easily without any issues, so volume-wise, I think it was very decent. Taste-wise, it was pretty good. Everything was cooked just right and tasted amazing, but I wouldn't say that it had an original taste. It was localized to fit the taste of someone living in Berlin. The way I have seen this food is a bit different from what they served it.

The breakfast was delicious and the menu offers a good selection. The staff was extremely polite and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed. The prices are absolutely reasonable and offer very good value for money. The portions are generous and the quality of the food is excellent.

Maybe unfortunate, but in my lunch salad was a big piece of a cardboard (approximately 5 cm). I discovered it at the bottom of the salad. Well, can happen sometimes, but there was no sincere apology by the waiter and later he explained that the salads are made somewhere else and that they only get them delivered. The worst thing, I forgot my sunglasses in the almost empty place and went back next day to ask for them. The lady who was in charge did not check or ask colleagues and just mumbled something. When I asked again if maybe colleagues know she was lifting her chin like what else do you want. I was never treated that rude in a restaurant. I am not saying that they took it, albeit I don’t know, but at least an effort could have been made. I am appalled by their arrogance.

If you’re looking for authentic Persian cuisine in Berlin, this is the place. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Every dish we had was delicious, but their Faloodeh and Bastani really stole the show. Highly recommended.

The only drawback (which is of course a matter of taste) was the atmosphere, which was similar to a modern art gallery with cold and neutral colors that did not stimulate the appetite. ☕👍🏻🙏🏻

The best decision was to try this restaurant. Unfortunately I can only give it 5 stars because everything was perfect, from the table reservation to the espresso after the meal. Very tasty and friendly, we will definitely come back.

all the drinks were good but the food was unfortunately disappointing. the meat was too tough, the flavors of the everything basically was not well balanced at all, everything missing something and in the end didn’t let me feel as if it was modernizing persian cuisine but like downgrading it. the staff was okay but the owners were friendly. i would not recommend this and especially to no one who wants to figure out what persian food is.

Very good food and a highly recommended Ayran. You then have to pay for the food at the counter, which is a shame because you have to come for a dessert or coffee before eating.

They don’t have a proper system for reservations and just deny entry even when you show them an email of the reservation !! They are very rude !! Even if they deny entry, They need to atleast accept a mistake in the reservation system and be apologetic !! This creates awkward situations for people !!

Google has received a complaint about the following URL(s) for the following legal reasons: Defamation Youkard ★ The place is nice, good atmosphere, nice guy at cashier, nicely presented food and also tasted good b However, all of the positive points are taken out by the upset tummies of myself and my friend. We had a chicken dish and I had to crawl out of my bed at 3am to run to the toilet and my friend had an upset belly this morning as well. I'm certain it is the food I had here at 3pm, as I had all freshly made vegan food (would not cause issues in most of the cases) at home for the rest of the meals on Sunday.

Went for the 4.8 google rating... The Cafe is clean, with good vibes and service was warm. Ingredients used were fresh and I would say better than average on the taste segment. Interesting to me since this would be my first Persian food experience.

We decided to try this restaurant to support a business from our own country. Unfortunately, I can only give them an average rating of three stars. To be fair, the food was nice, and the restaurant's atmosphere was great. However, there's a big "but" here 😄. I was extremely disappointed by the service and the attitude of the staff. Their behavior toward us was very cold, especially compared to how they treated the customers at the next table, which was surprising for a Middle Eastern restaurant. When they served the food, they brought a salad and something like yogurt (if I remember correctly), and the server said, "Don't be surprised, this is part of your meal!" Well, of course, it should be! We came to a proper restaurant, not a takeaway. After we finished our meal, no one asked if we wanted dessert or anything else, so we decided to leave. The strangest part was when I went to pay and was told they only accept card payments, not cash. This is unusual for a proper restaurant, and forcing customers to use a specific payment method isn’t ideal. Not everyone lives in the EU, and as a tourist, paying by card can result in extra bank charges, so paying in cash is sometimes more convenient. I hope they read my review and focus on improving their service rather than making excuses.

I cant find even one negative point. The taste of the food, quality and quality, wow everything is perfect. Definitely I will back and I highly recommend it.

Well I think the food was good but it was not quite what I expected, I had akbar djuje, it was nice but it was not exactly the original one, they kinda had their own recipe. Prices are high tho. They also don't have that much of space.

Very friendly staff, the homemade lemonades are very tasty and nicely decorated. The food is so flavorful and tasty! The bread was still warm and fluffy, definitely a recommendation! Family friendly as well!

I read many menu reviews from the restaurant and was curious for a long time to go there. As a cook as well… I definitely expected more. The saffron rice had a very thin layer of rice with saffron and the rest was just white rice. The chicken did not taste like saffron at all. It tasted like turmeric, which has the same color but is way more affordable. Guys at the service were nice people, and one of them was really friendly and smiled a lot, and that makes the environment Very nice. I will post a photo of what I ate because comparing from the photos I saw on the Internet. I definitely expected the rice to be way different, And the saffron flavor that’s sold at the dish to be stronger. I could hardly taste it…Cannot talk for the rest of the dishes, but this did not convince me…. But from what I read everyone really loves this restaurant so I wouldn’t recommend against just because it wasn’t my taste, It’s just what I have to say from being a cook chef and working at restaurants as well.. but the people there are nice and seem to make things with care and take well care of the place. Maybe it was just bad luck.

Unfortunately it is now very expensive. A falude costs €7! It was good here but not anymore.

The first time we went to this restaurant it was really nice. However, the second time was disappointing. Even though I asked for a dish without parsley and they said sure, they brought it with parsley and asked if I wanted to change it. It's sad to say this after serving the dish. It took very long for them to prepare. The place was extremely warm. And the bread was very dry and tasteless. The pancakes were good. I wouldn't go back... Edit: I obviously and surely ordered the dish without parsley at first and was never rude to the staff. I don't know why they're lying in the reply. They shouldn't spend their time arguing with customers online 🙏

despite being a little too expensive (even for downtown berlin), it was a great brunch we had. service was top notch, and even the weather cooperated ( we stayed outside) . the pancakes are heavenly, with a perfectly balanced sweetness/tartness to it. minus one star for the price. i feel 15 euros for a stack of 4 -5 pancakes is exagerated

what a gem! i stumbled across meet me halfway berlin while walking through the city and was greeted by smiles and delicious smells. i got the kuku sabzi sandwich, a flavorful herb omelette, which was so delicious. i also got the cucumber sekanjabin lemonade which was so refreshing! i recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to experience iranian food and a good atmosphere. thank you!

Was looking forward to trying Persian food. Place was less than half empty at 7:30 PM. Waited behind three gentlemen for a while no one came to seat new customers. Read review about poor service here. Guy in front says HELLO politely and server guy walks past blanking, ignoring the customer completely. Plenty of other places in Mitte that welcome business and this place isn't one of them

Went here for lunch with the family on a short trip to Berlin, had saffron chicken, hummus and a veal dish. What can you say, really delicious Persian food, hummus just in a different league. Would come back at any time.

It is expensive but the food quality can do better. I have the avocado but it doesn't look nice. Service is okay, takes a long time to order, the waiter seems friendly but somehow you felt like they are not really flexible or make me confused... As maybe I can't connect with him... The presentation of the food is good, the taste is okay.. Maybe I had order the wrong dish, I should order traditional Persian food.
