We visited the Santorini restaurant in Zwickau and were absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was lovely, cozy, and inviting – especially lovely in the beer garden in summer. The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. The portions were generous, and the value for money was absolutely spot on. We particularly recommend the mixed starters and the grilled meat dishes. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm – you immediately feel welcome. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant!"

So folks... without wanting anything from the restaurant... due to the change of ownership. "Breaded feta cheese": too small, too thin, without any flavor. "Salad": no dressing, unseasoned. "Bifteki with fries and rice": unsalted fries, tomato rice, tzatziki, and the meat also lacked salt. The waiter's arguments like "salt and pepper are on the table" were completely off the mark, and the line "WHY DID YOU EAT IT?" I found a real cheek. The best part is, you were immediately taken by surprise by the waiter before you even entered the restaurant. SUMMARY: Under the previous owners, there was more on the plates, more and better seasoning, and there was no criticism. THE WAITER ALONE WAS RESISTANT TO CRITICISM, LOOKED AT WORLD HISTORY instead of dealing with complaints. We won't be coming back a third time. Nice place to eat, but the food has completely declined and tasted simply BLAND. A 4- or 5-star chef like Frank Rosin from Dorsten would certainly have found even more criticism of the food. OH, and since when is lamb pancake made with pork? You order lamb and not pork, or am I wrong? The béchamel sauce was treated with MSG. Absolutely not. So, this is my 2nd and last visit. As I said, the previous owners were better, and everything tasted better. Sorry...

Very friendly staff, delicious food, and the beer garden is quite cozy. Some portion sizes were unusually small, which surprised my husband, for example.

I was there again today, and the food was excellent as always. The staff are very competent and friendly. As always, everything was perfect and there was nothing to complain about.

It was definitely worth it! The service was very friendly and quick even though the restaurant was full. The uzos were delicious and cold, and the beer and wine we ordered were also great. The pepperoni... AMAZING!!! I wasn't so impressed with the zander, but the excellent service made up for that. We didn't hold back when ordering. I had a bit of a stomach ache about the bill, but then??? Not even €100. We sat for quite a while while the room was being cleaned up and the staff ate. In other restaurants, we would have been hustled out. Not here... Thank you and see you soon!

The Greek evening with live music was nice, but the food wasn't worth the money and the wait was very long.

Somehow everything tastes the same in every Greek restaurant in Germany. Logical if you sell convenience products. Even the gyros come from the freezer at the wholesale market and are pre-cut and pre-fried. The Metaxa sauce doesn't deserve the name because it doesn't taste like Metaxa, not to mention the pink color. The strips on the steaks are burned by machine and are not produced in the restaurant kitchen on an open grill. We have a Greek restaurant in Leipzig that is run exclusively by Russians, any questions?

Wir waren schon öfters im Santorini und es war immer lecker. Seit dem Besitzerwechsel hat sich unsere Meinung nach die Essensqualität verbessert. Ebenso wurde die Gaststätte nochmal renoviert um noch mehr griechisches Flair in das Restaurant zu bekommen. Aufmerksames immer gut gelauntes Personal... Weiter so!

We are thrilled and are going back!!! The waitresses were all super friendly, the food was delicious and really plentiful, from the salad plate to the main course to the free dessert. And if you can't manage it, you can have it packed up. The prices are not too expensive either. Absolutely fair and justified for the size of the portions! Everything is clean and appetizing. You didn't have to wait long, even though the restaurant was really full on Saturday evening. And ouzo was also served to us twice without asking! I absolutely cannot understand the negative reviews. Thank you for the lovely evening with you in Santorini!!! Addendum v. 12/03/2024 Even when you order takeout and pick it up, you are asked every time if you want an ouzo! I can't understand all the negative reviews! It always depends on how you behave. The restaurant is always full and you, the guests, are to blame for the noise!!!! If the food was as bad as some people describe it, you wouldn't have to make a reservation there weeks in advance, at least for the weekend!

We have been here for dinner several times. It is always neat and clean. You are always warmly welcomed and the table is always properly set. Ordering drinks and food works smoothly. Special requests are always accommodated. You never sit there without a drink throughout the evening, there is always demand. The food was always hot and very tasty. You can tell that the chef enjoys preparing these dishes for the guests. There are only positive things to report about the service. They always have a smile for you and are very friendly. You can tell that the guest always comes first here and that they run this restaurant with heart, soul, love and passion. I wish the owners and all the employees with all my heart that things continue to go well for them and that we can continue to eat there for a long time and often 😊🌺.

We were there yesterday for a late dinner after 8pm. It was spontaneous, the table was free - probably also because of the time. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The service was more than friendly, very accommodating and on the ball: I had choked - --> prompt courageous blows on the back My friend had something in her tooth --> a toothpick was immediately offered. The food came quickly and was delicious. Clear recommendation! The delicious food is served with typical Greek friendliness.
