Athos Zwickau in Zwickau

Went to the restaurant as a small Christmas party with 7 people. Had a place at the end of the large dining room. If someone had to leave the middle, they had to stand up because everything was so tight. The door to the terrace was often open because some smokers went outside. Some of the tables and benches were broken. The female waiter was very unfriendly. Our orders were mixed up and something was constantly missing. The food was absolutely average. My starter platter consisted of three very thin slices of zucchini, one slice of auburgine, one Spoon of beans, a mini dollop of garlic cream and a thin slice of feta. Plus a dry bread for a hefty €15. The fries were tasteless. We had to wait forever for our drinks or it wasn't possible to order. Too bad. There are other Lokwle in Zwickau that are far better.

We had dinner there yesterday with 7 people. The food tasted good, but unfortunately the service was a disaster. Unfriendly and totally stressed. We had to wait forever for the second drink. Then the service staff stirred around a meal to see if it was the food we ordered. That doesn't work at all. And the worst part was the ambience. We felt like we were in a train station hall, loveless and the covers on the benches were already torn. Conversation was almost impossible because it was just too loud. We're definitely not coming back. Another compliment to the ladies at the counter. They were the only ones from the service who greeted us very nicely and said goodbye

It was a really nice evening, with good food, good drinks and ouzo! Have been there many times and would love to come back.

Just not what it was anymore! Staff extremely stressed, sometimes seem totally annoyed. The portions of the food have really shrunk, recently there were 9 fries on the plate.

We like coming here. The staff is always friendly and the quality of the food is always consistently very good.

Went to Athos today with our visit... I told them that it was the best Greek restaurant in Zwickau... but I was completely disappointed today... the waitress was completely unfriendly and constantly rolled her eyes when she asked I happened to be there and served.... we waited for over an hour for the food and it was only lukewarm... no drinks were brought... no one felt responsible for it... so all in all we made up our minds We no longer felt satisfied with our visit here in Athos...

Everyone liked the food and the portions were sufficient. Unfortunately, the service didn't even ask if we would like anything else, which is a shame but maybe it was due to the number of guests. All in all it was a successful evening and definitely recommended.

The food was delicious, but we waited 30 minutes for the drinks. Unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit listless 🙁

Last night I spontaneously had an appetite for Greek cuisine and Athos has been a recommendation for a long time. We were there shortly after 6 p.m. and got a place for two on the cozy terrace. We shouldn't have been much later. The Athos seems to be popular because it got really crowded 😋🤩. We were also lucky when looking for a parking space - there was a free (paid) parking space right in front of the restaurant. After a quick look at the menu, we decided on the Artemis plate with a really good selection of meat. Fries and rice as well as the salad were included. We also ordered garlic bread and two shandies. Shortly after we arrived, we were given two ouzos on the table - cold and very tasty. The drinks and food we ordered came to the table just as quickly. We liked it very much and it was almost too much for two people (but it could also have been due to the additional starter “garlic bread” that we ordered). The second drink was also requested and quickly brought to the table (we have had different experiences with that too). ). All in all, a successful evening with very good food in a nice atmosphere.

A good lunch menu with a great selection and appropriate prices. Additionally, there is our own beer garden away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And of course an ouzo is also part of the service 😉

A nice ambience with a beer garden... Price/performance for the food is ok for a big city... They are just a bit stingy when it comes to the ouzo, so with a larger number of people, like we were, you could be a little more generous. Otherwise everything was ok and we will go there again.

Our regular restaurant. Best price/performance ratio in Zwickau. As a regular guest, you receive small gifts from the staff such as a personal greeting/farewell, or a little Uzo extra on the house. You know how customer loyalty works. They give a small bonus per visit but that's exactly why you come back a few weeks later. So everyone benefits and everyone is happy. Super warm and super tasty, easy to recommend to anyone who likes Greek food.

There were gestures on site. First impression was quite ok then we have it. Ordered, what can I say, beer and cola were bad... There was no ouzo to greet you.. Food was ok. But you don't necessarily have to go back now... Very long waiting times and... It was the worst. Still no. Ouzo when we paid.

We spontaneously decided to have dinner. We were warmly welcomed and received a greeting card very quickly. The drinks we ordered came very quickly. The food we ordered was very tasty and plentiful. Everything was freshly prepared. We were able to put together a salad at the salad bar in advance. We were given more Uso to eat. 😃 That’s what I call hospitality. We were served very nicely and quickly throughout the evening. It was a very nice, unforgettable evening. Many thanks to the team. It was great. 🙂🤗

Went there for lunch and as always there was very good food at a moderate price, always with a small plate of salad and the obligatory ouzo. If you want a Greek lunch, you're in good hands here.

Our favorite restaurant in downtown Zwickau. The garlic potatoes are particularly recommended. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is fine. The prices are also moderate. You can park in the nearby parking garage. Everything fits here. We recommend.

Sehr beliebtes Restaurant, super freundliche Kellner, ohne Überraschungen. Kraut Salat und Dorade waren prima. Gebratene Auberginen nicht so - aber das ist Geschmacksache. Wir waren 8 Personen- alle waren satt und zufrieden.

We were there in December and it was good, but unfortunately the chef and service disappointed us today. The beer was stale, the shrimp was like bubble gum, the fish had no taste and the banana wheat was inedible. We're never coming back.

Prices in the menu card are different than when paying for dishes. (everything differed in price by 2/3 e up 👎) The dish was good, but when it comes to Greek delicacies, I've eaten better... chicken soup - very small portion for the price of 5.50 e .. That's why my review is 3 because of the differences between the bill and the menu.

Very disappointing for Greeks!!! We should have left based on first impressions. Table directly against a glass partition 😱ugh 😱 Please clean it, preferably with the glass cleaner that one gentleman used to clean the tablecloth 🤦🏼‍♀️ **So the iceberg carrot salad was floating in oil and had extra dressing on it. It honestly wasn't a big hit! ** From a Greek you actually expect homemade tzatziki and not a bucket of tzatziki...which you can get everywhere 🤷🏼‍♀️ ** As for the rest of the food, it's not worth mentioning and I can't recommend it. There are enough others for that 😃GREAT Greek restaurants 😃

Anyone who praises the food here has never been to a really good Greek restaurant. There was a metaxa sauce here, although I don't know what it was. In any case, it had nothing to do with Metaxasosse. Food wasn't freshly prepared either. More like it was pre-cooked and put back in the oven for a moment.

Das Essen an sich war sehr lecker, nur sind die Portionen etwas klein geworden. Preis Leistung ist daher etwas schlechter geworden. Überall üblich bekommt man auch beim Bezahlen einen Ouzo, hier leider nicht. (Mehr)

Das Essen sowie der Service sind einfach Top.! Alles wird frisch serviert und es schmeckt auch alles ganz besonders. Das Feeling in diesem Restaurant ist auch vollkommen in Ordnung man fühlt sich sehr wohl alles ist zudem sauber vorallem durch die nette Bedienung ists einfach schön. Insgesamt 5/5 Sterne, typisch griechisch also einfach Mega :)

Waren gestern Mittag zum zweiten Feiertag da. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen , Bedienung war nett und das Essen war sehr lecker . Waren schon oft da und war immer gut, nur diesmal war auf den Teller nur kleine Portion und wir waren froh Vorspeise genommen zu haben. Mir hat es gereicht aber die Männer waren nicht satt leider.

Essen ist gut, hat über die Jahre aber leider etwas nachgelassen (Qualität sowie Menge), Ambiente doch etwas "abgewohnt"... Servicepersonal ist freundlich und bemüht!

Die Lokalität war nicht ganz perfekt. Extrem laute Musik, so dass man sich wirklich kaum unterhalten konnte. Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Toilettentüren(wo die Türklinke erst erneuert wurde, als wir auf der Toilette eingesperrt waren) und doch eher schmutzige Gasträume. Aber...Personal sehr sehr nett und kinderfreundlich und das Essen super lecker.

Hier gibt es wirklich sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionen sind groß und das Gyros ist hochwertig und kaum fettig. Insgesamt kann man hier sehr gut essen.

Es ist jedesmal wieder super. Das Essen ist top, das Ambiente ist sehr schön und das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Am Anfang war ar alles OK. Bestellung und Essen kam auch schnell. Qualität des Essens war so naja. Gut angerichtet auf dem Telles. Menge... Naja. Da sind wir anderes gewohnt bei den Griechen in Zwickau und Umgebung. Geschmack des Fleisches war auch nur unterer Durchschnitt .Service am Anfang Top. Nach dem wir das Essen hatten. Würden wir komplett ignoriert. Leere Gläser sowie leere Teller interessierte niemanden. Man schaute kurz auf den Tisch und verschwand wieder. Nach ca einer halben Stunde wurden endlich mal die leeren Teller abgeräumt . Keine Frage ob wir noch etwas möchten. Nachdem wir dann endlich jemand angehalten haben konnten wir zahlen. War mein erster und letzter Besuch hier. Schade.

Ein sehr schöner Abend bei leckerem griechischen Essen, immer wieder gut und die Bedienung stets gut gelaunt . Wir kommen wieder.

Leckeres und sehr ausreichendes Essen. Netter Service und schönes Ambiente im Gastraum sowie auf der großen Terrasse.

Waren zum Abendessen dort. Es was wenig Betrieb, der Kellner total überfordert. Getränke gab es nicht, auch nicht nach einer Erinnerung. (es gab aber reichlich Ouzo gegen den Durst; aber nicht für den Fahrer) Die Fleischgerichte sind immer sehr trocken.

Ein schön überdachter Außenbereich, ein breites Angebot an schmackhaften Speisen und Getränken, wir kommen gern wieder.

V piatok večer si tu nájdete stôl aj bez rezervácie. Ako prípitok máte grécku hnusnú pálenku uzo zadarmo. Jedlo bolo v poriadku, chutné. Relatívne rýchlo pripravené. Obsluha by sa mohla častejšie zastaviť. Je možné aj kartou zaplatiť aj tringelt. Obsluha bola cítiť, že sú dlho v službe. Poznáme jednu pani, čo tu pracovala. Kvalita jedla a hygienické podmienky v kuchyni sú vysoké.

Das Athos war viele Jahre mein Lieblings grieche. Heutzutage leider nicht mehr. Ich war tatsächlich an zwei Tagen hintereinander in zwei verschiedenen griechischen Restaurants in Zwickau. Und bestellte tatsächlich fast similar. Was gibt es doch für qualitative Unterschiede. Das Zaziki ist in diesem Fall nicht erwähnenswert. Die warmen Pepperoni (trocken) hätte ich nicht an den Gast gebracht. Die Hauptspeise ist auch nicht erwähnenswert. Der übertrieben angebotene Ouzo ist nicht für jeden Gast alles. Das Salatbuffet bleibt bei manchem Kellner unerwähnt. Die angebotene Sauce dazu sollte überdacht werden. Diese geht sicherlich homemade x-mal besser...

Die Bestellung kann man zügig aufgeben und wird auch prompt geliefert. Leider war in den Teigtaschen nicht das drin, was in der Karte stand. Und nach dem Essen ist keiner des Personals an einer Folgebestellung interessiert. Sehr geschäftstüchtig ist das nicht. Wir sind wieder gegangen, da wir zu lange auf dem Trockenen saßen. Schade, hätte gern mehr gehabt.

Typisches Griechisches Restaurant mit Garten im Innenhof. Wenn die (männlichen) Bedienungen etwas freundlicher wären würde es nicht schaden. Das Essen ist lecker wie man es erwartet. Man sollte mit den Öffentlichen fahren da Uso in Kännchen serviert wird (kostenlos!) ;-) Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Jährlich treffen wir uns einmal mit den ehemaligen Kollegen. Dieses mal hat es uns hier her verschlagen. Das Restaurant war sehr gut gefüllt, daher war es auch relativ laut. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich. Die ersten Getränke kamen relativ schnell, doch die darauf folgenden dauerten. Das machte uns aber nichts aus, da es viel zu reden gab. Der Beilagesalat muß am Salatbuffet selbst geholt werden. Da kann man wenigstens soviel nehmen wie man möchte. Geschmacklich war dieser geschmacksarm. Sollte wahrscheinlich über das Dressing gerichtet werden. Das Hauptspeise war okay. Das Zaziki lecker.

This restourant only serves germans, when foreign's people want to eat something they are not comfortable , because tourist dont let good tip ! ı was there with my best friend and they didnt say ' welcome ' they just said us - was willst du ? its mean what do you want , because our skin color so dark . ım not suggest there everybody knows already to much expensive that restourant

Der Grieche in Zwickau. Freundliches und engagiertes Team bedient die Kunden mit typischen und leckeren griechischen Gerichten. Lasst euch auch einen Dessert nicht entgehen. An einigen Abemden im Jahr ist auch Livemusik. Auch für Familien und Behinderte geeignet.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist sehr gut. Sie waren äußerst hilfsbereit. Die Speisen waren frisch und lecker. Hervorzuheben ist, dass man sich an einem Salatbuffet frei bedienen kann.

Man wurde vom Personal mit Handschlag begrüßt und vom Chef mit Handschlag verabschiedet. Gastfreundlichkeit die wir so noch nicht erlebt haben. Es war sehr voll ,aber der Service war gut. Essen war reichlich und super Lecker. Nach den ersten beiden Uso bekam man dann eine kleine Kanne mit weiterem Uso auf den Tisch gestellt, wer kein Auto mehr fahren muss, hat es dann gut . Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Abends sollte man dann aber lieber doch reservieren.

Gemütlicher und geselliger Abend in lockerer Atmosphäre. Guter Service, sehr guter griechischer Wein und leckere Fleischgerichte lassen das befriedigende Salatbuffet vergessen.
