Essen war lecker und reichhaltig. Service ist freundlich, war aber schon mal besser. Wir empfehlen das Olympia.

Sagenhaft leckeres Essen und super Service und Personal! Sehr sehr zu empfehlen. Ohne reservieren bekommt man so gut wie keinen Platz mehr.

Kann ich nicht empfehlen! Essen war geschmacklich so etwas unter dem durchschnitt nichts besonderes im vergleich zu deutlich guten griechischen Restaurants. Was gestört hat war das wir (9personen) nicht zur gleichen Zeit bekommen haben. Eine Person musste noch 7 Minuten warten. Gläser wurden nicht direkt mitgenommen als das nächste volle Glas kam. Am meisten enttäuscht hat das wir unser Essen, welches wir nicht geschafft haben nicht dem richtigen Gast übergeben wurde. Jeder hatte eine falsche Box. Nicht zu empfehlen! Trinkgeld gab es somit nicht. Zu unserem ärger mit dem vertauschten Essen hat die Box noch 1€ gekostet, wäre kein Problem gewesen wenn jeder die richtige Box bekommen hätte.

Wir hatten auf 20 Uhr reserviert,waren aber schon sehr viel eher da. Natürlich kein Problem und wir haben einen gemütlichen Tisch in der Ecke bekommen. Der Service war freundlich und es wurden die Getränke und das Essen zügig serviert. Preis-Leistung kann man wirklich nicht meckern und die Speisen waren hervorragend und sehr heiß. ( Ich liebe die Nr.85😍😄) Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Top Grieche den man nur empfehlen kann. 👍👍👍👍👍

Empfang und Bedienung waren soweit freundlich, bis auf den Moment des Bezahlens, dort gab es Schwierigkeiten, weil wir als 4 Personen getrennt zahlen wollten. Das Essen war leider nicht besonders gut, zumal eine Person sogar das falsche Gericht erhielt. Es war sehr salzig und sehr fettig. Die Pommes schmeckten stark nach altem Öl. Die Schnapsgläser waren unfassbar dreckig und schmierig. Einige Dekorationen waren deutlich eingestaubt. Zum krönenden Abschluss ging es 2 von 4 Personen nach dem Essen so schlecht, dass sie tatsächlich Magenschmerzen von den fettigen Speisen bekamen. Alles in allem würde ich das Restaurant LEIDER nicht weiterempfehlen.

An die lieben Zwickauer, die hier meckern! Kommt doch gerne mal nach München! Da habt ihr euer Schickimicki Ambiente,... mehr aber auch nicht! Da zahlt ihr für 0,2 l Weißwein 10,00 EUR und das doppelte für ein Gericht. Ich bin einmal im Jahr hier, und reserviere immer rechtzeitig. Mein Mann und ich sind sehr zufrieden mit diesem super herzlichen und griechischem Restaurant. Waren heute wieder da, und freuen uns schon wieder auf nächstes Jahr! Vielen Dank für diese hervorragende griechische Küche!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal da.Das Ambiete eher düster und auch in den Räumen war es sehr eng und kühl.Wir wurden zu sechst an einen 4er Tisch gequetscht.Der ganze Service war wie bereits von anderen schon mehr Fließbandabfertigung.Der Salat war lieblos und ölig. Getränke wurden nicht nachgefüllt,wenn das Radler leer war hatte man Pech.Ich hatte einen griechischen Hackfleischnudelauflauf,da ich ihn als Kind immer gegessen hab.Dieser war wie als wurde er das dritte erwärmt da auch das Hackfleisch stellenweise sondarbar schmeckte und oben war wie Blätterteig(also ganz und gar nicht wie das Original ist).Die Tische sind sehr eng und man sitzt dem anderen quasi fast aufn Schoß. Von der miserablen Parksituation zusätzlich. Wir waren das erste und das letzte Mal da.

The restaurant is very nice and easy to find... the food was delicious... fresh and good portions... good value for money... highly recommended, but it's best to reserve in advance as it fills up quickly... we really enjoyed it...👌🏻...

Overall, it's okay. The food is tasty, although that depends on individual taste. The prices are reasonable; good service and quality ingredients do come at a price. What bothers me is that the tables need to make money, so you're expected to pay and leave quickly after your main course or dessert to maximize their profits. That's my impression, at least, and it's not ideal for a relaxed evening with friends. Drinks also generate revenue, don't they?

The garlic bread was far too big. You had to eat it with both hands, and what to do with your greasy hands? The salad and main course arrived almost simultaneously. Why can't I enjoy this visit in peace? We had calamari, which was soft, but absolutely tasteless. The result: to find a new table as quickly as possible.

We went out for dinner today with friends, and we've been coming here for years. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good today. The pork in Metaxa sauce was definitely not filet mignon, and the salad was more suited to rabbits—almost entirely iceberg lettuce. The salad used to be really delicious, with white cabbage, etc. A shame.

Update 2025: Still the best Greek restaurant in Zwickau, I even count it among my favorite "standard Greek restaurants" in Germany. Even though it was busy (as it usually is), the service was friendly and fast. The gyro meat here is particularly outstanding; it's much crispier and tastier than elsewhere. I went to Olympia for the first time yesterday for lunch. Ambiance, service and food were perfect. The price-performance ratio is also great. Keep it up!

We arrived an hour before closing time, but had called beforehand to see if there was anything left to eat. We could still select everything from the map. The food came super fast, fresh and, above all, really good. As the last guests in the restaurant, we were given a very friendly farewell. So it was a great, pleasant evening. Thanks.

We're regular customers since we live nearby. There's simply nothing to complain about. The service is always top-notch, the ambiance is modern, the food is always delicious, and the value is very good. We're always satisfied. The excellent weekday lunch menu, with soup, salad, and a main course, usually under €9 depending on the dish, is particularly noteworthy. See for yourself, but in my opinion, it remains the best Greek restaurant in town, by a long way.

Fantastic food. We were late for our reservation. I forgot it was 30 minutes earlier than I thought, and the maitre'd was quite rude about it, but gave us a table that was reserved 90 minutes later. Everything worked out, and we had a good meal, but we will stick to the reservation time. The Tarama was exquisite as well as the lamb knuckle and fish platter. Will definitely frequent them again

Good food, excellent value for money

We were a bit disappointed with the service staff. Friendliness was probably not the order of the day that day, at least not for us. Regulars were greeted with handshakes and ouzo. Unfortunately there was no ouzo for us. Not a kind word or a smile. As always, the food was delicious. We were still very surprised because we have actually spent other nicer evenings there.

Visited on January 3, 2025 Unfortunately, there was a small dispute with the waiter who took the wrong orders from me and wanted to bring me the main course Dan as a starter, which is why only 3 stars out of 5. Food in the storage room. Sorry, but that's what I have to call it. We stayed at the Olympia between Christmas and New Year's and were put in the last cubicle despite having a reservation. Right next to the toilets and the cloakroom. But enough about the ambience, let’s talk about the food. The starter was good, but the main course not so good. The meat was dry and the garlic potatoes were past seasoning. All in all, I probably won't go there again.

We have been regular customers there for 25 years. Super delicious food, very nice staff. Best Greek in Zwickau and the grilled peppers taste best there. And I've tried a lot of grilled pepperoni. So a clear recommendation for a delicious feast.

Cheap ouzo, a greeting that is too jovial and poor quality food that doesn't look very ambitious on the plate are not a good combination.
