Rumpsteak von feinsten! Gargrad perfekt Englisch, die Fleischsäfte waren nicht zu hell, und auf dem Punkt wo erstmal nur wenig Saft rauskam! Perfekt! Klasse service, sehr schnell!

Ich hatte das Risotto mit Lachs und Garnelen. Absolut köstlich! Es gab sogar eine englische Speisekarte. Sie werden es nicht bereuen, hier gegessen zu haben.

Nette Leute schönes Ambiente gutes Essen. Klare Empfehlung. Mittagstisch auch verfügbar und mit guter Auswahl.

Essen schmeckt hier immer super! Sehr freundliches Personal. Lediglich für Vegetarier ist die Auswahl nach 1-2 Besuchen relativ monoton. Hier würde ich mir etwas mehr Abwechslung wünschen.

Ein sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant mit immer wieder angepasster Karte. Das Essen ist immer frisch und man merkt, dass hier echtes Handwerk dran ist. Ob Fertiglebensmittel verwendet werden, kann ich nicht sagen. Ich vermute ja, dass selbst die Nudeln selbst gemacht sind; das frage ich beim nächsten Mal nach. Die Tischbedienung ist stets außerordentlich freundlich. Das Ambiente bei Tage ist eher durchschnittlich, nachts draußen am warmen Tagen fühlt man sich aber wie in Italien. Alles immer sehr sauber, auch das WC. Der Preis ist moderat und der Qualität angemessen.

Es hat alles Super geschmeckt von der Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgericht 👍👍👍👍 ich kann es nur jedem weiterempfehlen 🤟 wir waren jetzt 2 mal hintereinander hier essen ☺️

Der erste Besuch war hervorragend. Wir bestellten die Fischplatte für zwei Personen. Da war so viel drauf, es hätten drei Mann satt werden können. Sehr lecker. Allein das Gemüseragout mit den Kartoffeln war schon lecker, der Fisch erst recht. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Obwohl einige Gäste anwesend waren, sehr ruhig. Tolles Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich kannte das Rosmarin bereits vom alten Standort in Linden u hatte bedauerlicherweise noch keine Gelegenheit in Giessen zu Gast zu sein. Ein sehr tolles Restaurant. Das Ambiente isr wirklich schön, sehr ansprechend u gemütlich. Die Essensauswahl ist toll, für jeden was dabei. Es wird viel Wert auf die Anrichting der Speisen gelegt, geschmacklich und qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Sicher muss man etwas mehr in die Tasche greifen, aber es lohnt sich DEVINTIV. Der Service ist sehr freundkkich, aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich werde jetzt sicherlich öfter einen Besuch einplanen. Was etwas negativ ist, ist die Parkplatzsituation, da muss man schon länger suchen oder einen Spaziergang in Kauf nehmen. Fazit - es ist vom Essen u Service genau so geblieben wie in Linden. Danke für das tolle Geschmackserlebnis.

The manager (or maybe the owner?) was simply incredibly rude. I've never experienced such behavior towards guests before – completely inappropriate. We were in the restaurant with a group; the table was reserved for 18 people. In the end, about 12 showed up, which can happen with groups. Everyone ordered something – drinks, some also ordered desserts, and a few of us also ordered food. I personally ordered a coffee and dessert at the beginning. Honestly, I even planned to have something hot later – I just wanted to take my time. But then this man came to our table and started criticizing us quite harshly. He said it wasn't a café, but a restaurant, and it was "bad" that we had ordered so little. That we had taken space away from other guests with our reservation, and that his staff had to seat other people "uncomfortably" because of it. After this unpleasant remark, I honestly didn't feel like ordering anything at all – I just left. That's no way to treat guests. We were quiet, friendly, had a drink, and simply wanted to spend a relaxing evening. Instead, we were met with unfriendly behavior and felt completely unwelcome :(

Unfortunately, my visit was rather disappointing. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my food – while my group was almost finished eating, I got my meal first. What was particularly frustrating was that I hadn't ordered anything fancy that would have required extra time. The food itself, unfortunately, was no consolation either: It was barely seasoned and rather bland in taste. On a positive note, I would like to highlight the service – the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant – at least not if you value quick service and well-seasoned food.

Heartfelt recommendation for the rosemary in Gießen! We went to Rosmarin in Gießen for the first time today - on a recommendation - and I have to say: we were really positively surprised! Although I know the gastronomy scene in Giessen quite well, this restaurant was completely unknown to me - and also to my friends. It's all the better that we've discovered it now. The restaurant was busy, but everything went quickly - from ordering to eating. The menu is varied, the selection is really good and there is something for every taste. In terms of price, the rosemary is in the middle range, absolutely fair for what is on offer. The food was tasteful, beautifully presented and freshly prepared. We also particularly liked the ambience: a cozy winter garden, a beautiful beer garden and the quiet location a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city make the visit completely pleasant. Overall, a real highlight in Giessen – we’ll definitely be back! A real heartfelt recommendation!

This is what a restaurant has to be like for us: high quality food, but not boring, with very courteous, friendly service.

The best Italian in the area. The pizzas aren't even the highlight; The noodles and especially the sauces are simply amazing. Not for people with high cholesterol, but you have to treat yourself every now and then. The prices are a little higher than the competition, but in my opinion they are justified.

The pizza was to die for! The dough had semolina parts and was not as mushy as is often the case. The waiters were very attentive and the restaurant is nicely decorated. A table reservation is recommended. I will come again!

We stopped here spontaneously on a Sunday lunchtime and were surprised by the hospitality and the ambience. What took the stress away for me personally was that the children were treated very calmly and understandingly. In addition, the very open staff came over to us every now and then for a little chat, as we were still alone there at that early hour. It was a thoroughly positive and pleasant stay and I can only recommend the Rosmarin restaurant!

On Christmas Day we ate here for the first time with a total of ten people (2 years old to 83 years old). A table was ordered and reserved for us. Despite the high occupancy, the staff was always friendly. I liked the food. The waiting time between ordering and serving was reasonable, definitely not too long. The restaurant is definitely recommended!

Yesterday we spontaneously went to Giessen with a couple who were friends of ours. It was really worth it. The food was delicious, it was nice and shady in the winter garden, the service was very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again!

Auf Fritz Cola umgestellt und dafür 4,50 für Ein Fläschchen kassiert Beim letzten Besuch war es auch schon so teuer ich dachte Weihnachtszuschlag Grillteller war unterirdisch Hähnchfleisch total trocken und Rindersteak völlig übergabt Schade ist ein schöner Biergartenaber leider stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht mehr

We were in the restaurant for a birthday. As expected, the food is not the cheapest, but you do get excellent taste and great service. The dessert was even decorated with candles.

I was there again after a long time and was disappointed. Unfortunately, I think the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

Plenty of choice on the menu, including for vegetarians. There are also dishes that deviate from the “usual standard” and offer a welcome change. The service is excellent, friendly and courteous service, quick fulfillment of all wishes. The space in the winter garden is also a real highlight - in short: thoroughly recommended! :)

Lunch menu is a great deal! The creamy mushroom pasta I had was tasty, with about 1.5 portion size, and it was only 11.9 euro.

Surf & Turf (34€): Meat not seasoned at all and bland, vegetables completely over-seasoned and no longer edible (flavor enhancers in abundance - if I had eaten that, I would have spent the rest of the evening in the toilet), shrimp twice dead. Calamaritube too fried without any spices, plus these vegetables, which wouldn't have gone well with it if it hadn't been so high in glutamate. As an excuse, they simply force sweets on us that we didn't like or want. The ambience would have been nice (winter garden), but what use is that with such a miserable kitchen? Bad food with sky-high prices!

After 3 rather average visits in 2023 with 1x cold food, 1x completely incorrectly prepared steak (almost well done instead of medium rare as ordered) and 1x really over-salted pasta, I decided not to visit the restaurant anymore. Now, after the 4th visit planned by my circle of friends, the underground service has prompted me to write a review. The last visit: My starter was a chestnut soup that tasted more like a pepper soup with instant broth. The main course was not delivered despite asking. For me personally, this was certainly my last visit - 4x bad luck or "it could happen" is too much for me.
