First of all: We ate very well. The food was really very good. However: We reserved a table for 4 people in advance via Quandoo. This reservation was also accepted and confirmed. When we were in the restaurant at the relevant time, we were informed that we had not received the reservation because we were not in the restaurant at the time. They still had a table for us. After we had eaten and drank a lot and ordered a nightcap, the boss came to us and made it clear to us that our table had already been reserved for the next guests and that we should therefore come to the end. We then assured that we wanted to leave anyway after ordering the drinks, whereupon we were asked: “Are you sure?” We found that a bit outrageous given the bill was almost 170 euros. Conclusion: Quality of the food is great! Ambiance: Very nice, we felt comfortable. However, if you offer an online reservation system, you should ensure that you use it correctly. I would like to decide for myself when I leave a restaurant and don't like being thrown out.

Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy the food, the pasta and fish were bad. 🤢 you get something out of it for longer…. One of the waiters then met us in a very cheeky, snippy and unfriendly manner. His boss at least reimbursed us for the dish. Still, all in all not worth a visit! Not recommended

Fantastic Italian food with authentic cuisine, fresh ingredients and a cozy atmosphere. The homemade pasta and the wine selection are particularly highlights. The friendly staff completes the experience. Absolutely recommended!

In short, I've eaten pizza here many times and today I had Tagliatelle Bolognese for the first time, almost always to take away. Regarding the pizza: 4/5 stars in terms of taste and 5/5 stars in terms of price/performance because it is very large and richly topped at fair prices and also For the Tagliatelle Bolognese: taste wise 2/5 stars & price/performance 3/5 because it tastes like a pretty thin tomato sauce with mince instead of bolognese, but the portion size is decent. The staff is always very friendly.

We are neighbors and have actually always had good experiences here. But today we got to know the other side of the boss. Four of us dined here with a reservation and had two voucher books with us. We communicated from the start that we would pay separately and always redeem two vouchers. That was a big problem for the otherwise friendly boss. He evaporated by saying that he had to ask questions (why is he the boss?) and then didn't come to our table again. A waiter then took over our table. At first he didn't allow us to have two bills with two vouchers, then when he pointed out that there was probably no problem at the neighboring table and that two vouchers on one table worked perfectly, we accepted it too. From that moment on our order was taken, but no one took care of us anymore. As the only table in the otherwise relatively full restaurant, we were not brought any olives or parmesan to the table. In addition, a pizza was brought in the wrong way (which is not a problem and can happen from time to time) and it was not exchanged when asked, but something was simply slapped on top in a careless manner. And all without consulting us. We then ate the pizza as it was there, but we didn't order it that way. There wasn't a word of apology for this, which is actually absurd for me and shouldn't be included in any service. For the rest of the evening we were largely ignored and only served when specifically asked. When we asked for the bill, we didn't get two bills as we wanted, but only one. We were actually looking forward to a nice and delicious evening at Roma and went home with a bad feeling. That's not how we imagined it. This is not professional behavior from the boss and also not professional service. That's no way to look after the neighborhood and we won't be coming back for a while - it's a shame! Why is the voucher book offered at Roma if the owner seems to have such a big problem with it? Everyone can still decide for their own restaurant what to offer and what not. We still ate deliciously!

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience at this restaurant, although the initial visit was very promising. Due to many positive reviews, we reserved a table online on Saturday at 5:45 p.m. When we arrived at the restaurant at 5:35 p.m. and gave our name, the reservation book was flipped through and we were told to wait at the side first, then another waiter came, asked the name again and brought us without checking anything , to the next best place. Apparently we didn't have a reservation, but since we were able to sit down without any problem, that shouldn't be a problem. We ordered drinks, appetizers and main courses, and our waitress was even kind enough to ask in the kitchen whether a main course could be prepared without garlic. We didn't receive any information as to whether it would be possible, but even that didn't really matter to us as we would have been just as happy with the substitute dish. We received the drinks and appetizer (unfortunately the appetizer I ordered, burrata, was already out, but even that was ok) and everything was to his satisfaction. Other guests came next to us, received their food and paid, then others came etc. while we were still waiting for our main courses. At around 7 p.m. we asked our waitress and was told that we had to leave in about 20 minutes because we had tickets for an event at 8 p.m. Our waitress assured us that the kitchen was working on our dishes and that the food would be ready in 5 minutes. At 7:20 p.m., still without a main course, we called our waiter again, apologized and had to tell him that we unfortunately wanted to cancel our meal and pay. Keller was understanding and also apologized. It was disappointing and unfortunate, but even that was still within reason. Suddenly the boss (cook?) stood next to us and snapped at us that the food was ready and we had to eat it now. We said no and said that unfortunately we didn't have any more time. He got even angrier and said we have to pay for it now. We refused again and said we had been waiting for 1 1/2 hours and now we had to leave because of our event. He accused us of having told us that we didn't have that long and that we should pay for the meal. We explained again that at 7 p.m. we had already said that we had no more time and, moreover, why should we set a schedule with a restaurant, especially after the people sitting next to us who came later got their food before us. Something went terribly wrong in the organization. The waiter and boss swore at each other. The waiter should have let us know, the waiter claimed he had asked the kitchen often enough. The boss left angrily, we paid for what we ate and wanted to tip the waiter, who really couldn't help it and did a good job, which he firmly refused. It may be a good restaurant, there was nothing to complain about in terms of service, but to be treated like that and to force and accuse you of something as a really patient guest in a tone that is not professional is really not acceptable. Very unfortunate. By the way, we arrived at our event 10 minutes late, were hungry and completely exhausted. Thanks for that. Addendum: As you can clearly see in the owner's reply, the incredible professionalism and friendliness comes through here again. The ability to take criticism is also very important here. Reading a review correctly and understanding the times given, as well as the problem that our order was simply forgotten because everyone else after us received their dishes before us and we were then accused of poor time management is also very nice see. In addition, the price-performance ratio is really fair, which makes the experience here even more pleasant. Another highlight is the wine list, which offers a great selection of Italian wines - perfectly matched to the food. Finally, I definitely recommend the homemade tiramisu or the panna cotta – a real treat! All in all, Restaurant Roma is a place you'll want to come back to again and again. Whether for a romantic dinner, a meeting with friends or a family meal, you are in good hands here. A fantastic location, excellent ideal in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. Designed in an elegant and excellent manner in every detail, where hospitality and communication are interwoven at the dearest levels. The food is in the colors of the Italian flag, cooked to the highest level of quality. Also, what makes it special are the wines, exceptionally high-quality and excellent drinks. At the end, serving a dessert where a great diversity of excellent flavors are mixed.

Four of us from the Rhineland traveled to Munich over the weekend and got a table at the Roma restaurant at short notice. We were all absolutely thrilled with the evening. From the ambience to the excellent service from the waiters to the very tasty food, all 4 were equally enthusiastic. All dishes were convincing with a really good price-performance ratio. We agree: we will stop there again the next time we visit Munich.

When we arrived the place was very busy, loud and hectic. We had a reservation but had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Then it took 40 minutes for us to get a cold starter and another 30 minutes for the pasta. When asked, the waiter said they had a large group, but the waiting time was normal. The food was very good, but the chaotic organization and the extreme waiting times are not acceptable to me. Added to this are the borderline prices for the open house wine (almost €19 for half a liter). There are other Italians too...

It was raining and we needed som dinner so ducked in here. Pizza was excellent. Staff were fantastic.

My partner and I discovered this restaurant by chance. We only ordered a mixed starter plate, which tasted excellent. The Vitello Tonnato was particularly tasty. Since then we have been going to this restaurant more often. The elegant atmosphere is also ideal for a romantic date. In addition to very tasty pizzas in a variety of variations, the menu also includes good drinks such as a Raspberry Spritz. The waiters are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, definitely a recommendation.

We used to order Pizza often and pick it up here. Pizza used to be gut but now it is ok. Tonight we ate there and it was really disappointing! I got a german menu and my family got an english one with different prices. I asked friendly why it is different and i got a very unfriendly response. The Waiter told me that he doesn’t have time to answer my questions. Anyway we ordered and food came a bit late and separately, which I can understand, because there were just 2 Waiters working at the time. I still paid tip but the reaction at the End was also very intimidating, it was apparently not enough for the disappointing unfriendly service we got. We’ll never order here again.

Best italian food ever. Came here almost everyday, except for the days they were closed. Portion sizes are huge with generous portions of meat, vegetables and CHEEEEEESE. Also, friendliest staff in town who speaks fluent english. Place made a dish specially for my vegetarian friend (outside of menu). Shows the amount of effort to cater to people with special dietary restrictions.

The team at Restaurant Roma saved my evening. After Lieferando was unable to find a supplier for my order even after 90 minutes of waiting, the Roma restaurant sent one of their drivers and delivered the pizza to my home free of charge. Who knows if I would have ever gotten the pizza without this kind effort. On top of that there was a panna cotta for free! Great team, thank you again at this point! Pizza and panna cotta tasted great :)

Ciao, Restaurant Roma. I would be warmly welcomed and served directly. Your service is really on point! Even when I wanted the bill, I didn't even have to specify exactly what I had ordered. However, the Italian spark didn't really want to spread here. This was mainly due to the quality of the food: I ordered Saltimbocca. The standard side dish here is mixed vegetables. There is also additional bread and wrapped bread sticks, unfortunately without butter, olive oil or any other dip. The bread came with the food within 15 to 20 minutes even though the shop was quite busy. Unfortunately it came out of the package and was already quite hard and dry. The “schnitzel” was pounded very thin and unfortunately only boiled and not really fried. I searched in vain for roasted aromas throughout the dish. The meat was a bit dry and cooked through. The sauce was rather fatty and brown. The vegetables seemed to me to be partly frozen and just kissed the pan - unfortunately still quite hard and raw. Unfortunately, overall my food wasn't much better than in a canteen. I paid €34 for this including two drinks. Conclusion: unfortunately just disappointing.

Incredibly unfriendly staff (already on the phone). I pre-ordered something over the phone, which according to the online lunch menu (which is updated regularly) costs EUR 9.90, and picked it up myself. When I arrived at the restaurant I was supposed to pay EUR 10.90 on the grounds that that's what it says on the lunch menu (on site). I then even showed them that there was a different price on the online lunch menu and refused to pay the EUR 10.90 on principle. What can I do about the restaurant's inability to make prices consistent? Or are you now allowed to write 10 EUR as the online price, but then charge 30.00 EUR in the restaurant? When I left I was called an idiot. Well, one less customer and hopefully many more thanks to this review. This is simply not how to deal with guests/customers. Edit after owner's response: I am aware that no one said EUR 30.00. That was just an example that according to your logic you could charge anything in a restaurant, no matter what is on the internet... How was I supposed to know the price of 10.90 EUR? And I don't care who pays the "missing" euro into the cash register. In any case, I only pay the price that I know and not a new price. Above all, you even asked for the higher price after I showed you the EUR 9.90 in black and white! Of course it's "only 1 EURO", but it's about the principle! And besides, I know what I heard...

i was waiting outside on the table more than 20-30 minutes calling the waiter and the waiter was ignoring us and taking the order for the table behind us few minutes later a female waitress said my colleague will come and take the order he didn’t show up i went inside calling the waiter he was mad and said “what do you want to order”in a rude way, i didn’t order anything and we left. such a bad experience. the waitress called Nikolaus.

Last Tuesday I visited the Roma restaurant and was very satisfied. Today I returned with friends. Unfortunately the service was a disaster, the "Pizza for Magi" turned out to be a simple Margherita. Finally, I decided to add a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar to my dish to make it juicier. Surprisingly, the owner came to our table to inform me that the balsamic was empty and pointedly raised the bottle. I felt uncomfortable and didn't understand why he was embarrassing me in front of all the guests. I paid my bill and ended up only offering a ten cent tip, which almost got me a negative reaction. I therefore ask that you do not touch the bottles of balsamic vinegar and olive oil while eating in order to avoid conflicts. We'll never go there again

I have been a regular guest here with my employees and also with my family and friends for several years. Particularly noteworthy, in addition to the always friendly and fast service as well as the extremely varied and extensive menu, is the wine list, which has been expertly put together by the restaurant's boss with his extensive knowledge as a sommelier. Also noteworthy is the more than fair price level, from the food to the wine, which is extremely rare at these prices in such upscale restaurants in Munich. I ordered mango nektar that was on the menu (0,2l) and they served the 0,4l saft-nektar to me instead. I was unaware that the quantity was more when they served. They were unbothered when I complained that they charged me extra for something I didn't order, even though I literally pointed it out in the menu while ordering. Very bad service, never visiting again. Ruined my mood totally!

Very good food and drinks. The ambience is also great and the service is very attentive. We really enjoy coming and our four-legged companion was also welcome. However, it should be registered as a few tables in the middle would be unsuitable for a dog. Bottom line: a clear recommendation. In terms of price, there isn't much room for improvement if you want to stay at five stars.

I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Roma Restaurant in Dom-Pedro-Str. 6, Munich (80637) and I had a very positive experience. Atmosphere and Environment: The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and familiar. The arrangement of the tables allows for a quiet and intimate conversation. The decoration is simple but elegant. Cuisine: The menu offers a variety of authentic Italian dishes. I tried the pasta with pesto, which was delicious and prepared just right. The pizza was also fragrant and well seasoned. The staff was attentive to our needs and made the experience even more pleasant. Service: The service was friendly and professional. The waiters were available to answer questions and recommended some of the house specialties. Price: Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the overall experience. I have not had any unwelcome surprises on my bill. Conclusion: The Roma Restaurant is an ideal place for those who love authentic Italian cuisine. My companion and I went there for dinner and had 2 different pizzas. Both pizzas were delicious, with very generous toppings and the crust was both crunchy and chewy. Would come back again to try other items on their menu.

The way customers are treated at this takeaway restaurant is extremely despicable. When we arrived, exactly 10 minutes later as if we were focusing on the phone, the pizza was ready on the espresso machine?! However, I had to wait another 8 minutes until the cashier in charge approached me. A long, time-consuming, pointless conversation with other guests was more important to him than simply collecting my order. Without a receipt (despite asking several times) he tells me the total amount to be paid. Unfortunately, the statements were repeatedly not understood. When I wanted to pay, “Cash payment only possible” was emphasized. After I handed over the cash, the cashier started a “back and forth” with coins and at the same time he became rude to me. Unexpectedly, he took an additional 10 euros out of my hand, citing a price increase, and handed out change in one go. The payment process took another 10 minutes. After all the hustle and bustle, the pizza was cold and burnt on the edges. The covering is not of sufficient quality.
