Ich habe dort Fisch gegessen und er war super lecker und echt frisch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Das mit Abstand beste italienische Essen, das ich in ganz Deutschland gegessen habe. Simone war so lieb und aufmerksam. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Klein, aber fein! Zum zweiten Mal mit einigem Abstand dort gewesen. Kleine Mittagskarte mit handwerklich einwandfreien Gerichten. Wer eine große Auswahl auf der Speisekarte sucht, ist hier an der falschen Adresse. Der Service durch den Inhaber ist sehr herzlich und angenehm und dabei unauffällig. Genau so, wie ein Service sein sollte. Nachtisch und Espresso waren ebenfalls überzeugend. Kann man nur empfehlen!

Ein echtes Highlight: Das Al Torchio überzeugt mit authentischer italienischer Küche auf höchstem Niveau. Die Gerichte sind frisch, kreativ und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet – besonders die Pasta ist herausragend. Auch der Service ist aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre rundet das Erlebnis perfekt ab. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich musste 14 Jahre in München wohnen und sicher 140 mal an dem Restaurant vorbeigehen, um ein wahres Highlight zu entdecken. Die Karte ist klein (4/5 Vorspeisen, 3 Pastagerichte, 1x Fisch und 1x Fleisch) - der Gastraum angenehm übersichtlich und der Service von Simi aufmerksam und herzlich! Der Fisch war absolut on Point gebraten und geschmacksintensiv. Die Pasta hausgemacht. Ein unprätentiöser Nachbarschaftsitaliener. Kein Chi-Chi und fernab Münchner Instagramrestaurants. Jederzeit gern wieder. Schön für Paare, Familien, Schwiegerelternbesuch.

Wirklich eine kleine Perle in Maxvorstadt. Kleiner Italiener mit sehr leckeren Essen. Klare Empfehlung! Ohne Reservierung geht hier aber nichts.

Delicious Italian food in a tiny restaurant. Prices at lunchtime are very reasonable. Portions are rather small, but sufficient. It could use a fresh coat of paint.

The best and most delicious restaurant in Munich! Impeccable service, very friendly and caring waiter. We visited this restaurant several times, were always surrounded by warmth and care! And the food is delicious, especially fish with vegetables (sea bream, if I'm not mistaken). I recommend! The only downside is that you can't always sit down without a reservation, once we couldn't get in in the evening, because everything was busy.

I’m very disappointed in this restaurant. I’ve been there before many times, with my partner and friends. Food is good and service was always ok. Today for lunch I went all the way there, arriving around 12:30sh lunch time, and asked for a table for one. They said they couldn’t offered me a table, as they were “full”, but they had empty tables both outside and inside - clearly denying service only because I am one person, and it is not so “lucrative”. Just because is only one person eating, this person is a client in any case. Will not come back there.

For me, the best Italian restaurant in all of Munich and the surrounding area. We went there for dinner today, and the restaurant and its food exceeded all expectations. The antipasti for starters were truly a dream. The seafood salad was freshly prepared and delicious, the beef carpaccio was absolutely fantastic, the burrata was creamy and tender, and served with delicious green olives. For the main course, I treated myself to a sea bass fillet. I'm truly a fish connoisseur – and lover. It was the best fish dish I've had in a restaurant in years. Very juicy, superbly seasoned, and grilled crisply on the skin. I rarely eat the fish skin, but it was so delicious that I didn't leave anything behind. It was served with finely seasoned vegetables, steamed to perfection. And the potatoes were also a perfect match. For dessert, there was delicious pistachio ice cream with strawberries and wild berry sauce. Also a dream that rounded off the dinner perfectly. The ambiance and service were also truly excellent. Also worth mentioning is the value for money. For Munich, in my opinion, it's exceptionally good. I give the restaurant 5 stars with distinction. It really couldn't be better. I highly recommend this restaurant. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

The food was really excellent, the sea bream was on point, the pasta was great and the dessert was also a dream. The service is friendly and accommodating. The ambience - the restaurant is right on the street. Unfortunately, no miracles are to be expected. If you can live with that, I fully recommend it.

An authentic little Italian with good homemade pasta. Also a nice little location for a special lunch/evening. I would do it again and can highly recommend it. The service is friendly but not intrusive. Personally, they could add a little more to the vegetarian and vegan dishes if I could make a constructive point.

Zum Mittagstisch gewesen. Kleine, aber feine Speisekarte mit leckerer Weinauswahl. Preis-Leistung Spitze. Unbedingt vorab reservieren.

Wir verbrachten einen sehr schönen Abend im Al Torchio. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Carpaccio und Kräuterseitling - beides top. Anschließend die Ravioli in Butter-Salbei Soße und die Orecchiete mit Salsiccia. Auch beides lecker, jedoch war vor allem bei den Orecchiette die Soße sehr wässrig, wahrscheinlich etwas zu viel Pastawasser, auch bei den Ravioli war die Buttersoße relativ dünn. Wir würden trotzdem wieder kommen! Der Kellner war den ganzen Abend über sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Ein paar mehr vegetarische Pastaoptionen wären noch toll 🙏👍 bis bald 😊

The food, the service, the atmosphere, the location … everything is always exceptional when I visit. They offer a small, curated menu that changes daily - but you‘re guaranteed to find something for you. They don’t take credit cards! EC and cash only.

Bester Italiener in Maxvorstadt. Mies underrated meiner Meinung nach. Chef macht den Laden ganz alleine mit nur einem Koch in der Küche und kreiert trotzdem ein freundliches und typisches italienisches Ambiente. Nudeln sind immer Selbstgemacht und das schmeckt man auch. Mittagsmenü für Studenten etwa bei 12-15 Euro also man kann sich auch mal was gönnen.

Die Orecchiette und die Burrata waren soo lecker, wirklich sehr zu empfehlen 🫠 Dazu wurden wir sehr herzlich in der Trattoria empfangen, wir haben uns in dem kleinen aber feinen Restaurant sehr wohl gefühlt. Durch die gemütliche Atmosphäre und die herzliche Art des Teams, hat man das Gefühl, man würde mit Freunden zu Abend essen!
