Whenever I'm at the Residenztheater or the opera, I like to go to Il Tenore afterwards. The owner, Salvatore, is extremely friendly and attentive - we have known each other for several years and I feel at home there. The food is of course always great and very traditional Italian cuisine. I'm looking forward to next time.

Basically a nice location where you are always greeted in a very friendly manner. The service is relaxed and very nice, even though we were initially served three meals that others had ordered. Unfortunately, the food cannot keep up with the high price level, as we all found (5 guests). The wines were very well selected and we all enjoyed them. The biggest disadvantage is the extremely high volume - we could hardly understand each other at the table... sound-absorbing material would definitely have to be used here. Since the food is also important to us, we will look elsewhere soon...

Rating 4* for the pizza, was really tasty and the prices arent bad. My partner choose another dish, the meat dish and the portions + price were a bit ridiculous.. almost 30eur for 3 thin steaks of veel, all side dishes come on top.. Pretty good overall.

Here you feel welcome, like an evening in Italy. Very good food, very good wine selection, incredibly courteous and nice staff. Be sure to try the pistachio tiramisu dessert. Or try different oils with pizza. For example truffle oil or basil oil. How can you decide with so much good choice? We would love to come back and are already looking forward to this day. We came to the restaurant because there were quite high ratings. The service was good but the food was not tasty. We were upset because we wanted to have a delicious dinner. The food was 2 stars max. I think that if you position yourself as a restaurant with almost 5 stars, the food should match it.

A very tasty and beautiful restaurant. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and accommodating. A little more expensive but definitely worth it.

Sitting outside on a beautiful summer evening was super nice, which is just very pleasant in the city center. We also had nice and non-contrived advice about the drinks and food selection.

We appreciated the food but got basically upsold at the end with a 13 euro grappa that we thought was for free as it was just offered at the table. Such practices ruin the experience, especially in an Italian restaurant where you would expect it to be from the house or if not, then maybe told?

Everything was fine at Il Tenore. Attentive service (but also very businesslike), we sat outside on the "terrace" i.e. the extended sidewalk. Nice selection on the daily menu. And the food was really good. The open house wine also tasted great. However, price performance is just about adequate.

A pricey but good place. Unfortunately we considered the antipasti portions pretty small for what they cost. The pizza was great and all the food was very delicious.

The restaurant is so beautiful and cozy inside and the outdoor sitting was relaxing because it’s not on the main street. The service was nice and the food was fresh and delicious. The wine collection is a bit small but the food def made up for it. Perfect for intimate dinner.

If you are in Monaco and want to feel all the Italian warmth you absolutely must try the experience of Salvatore and Angelo's cuisine, they will pamper you in their fantastic world. We only had dinner on the last evening of our working period because we met him too late but if I were to return it is the place that will give me the certainty of being able to eat as if I were in Puglia. Thank you Salvatore and Angelo for welcoming us into your restaurant and for the pleasant company you gave us!

Top location, but still very moderate prices. I come from upscale gastronomy. In my opinion, the prices here are too cheap for the quality you get. I'd be happy to come back at any time.

Kind and welcoming, good food and special pizzas. We took a capricciosa and included in the price was a rich and abundant portion of salad. My daughters always get a good lasagna with salad included.

Excellent Italian restaurant! Elegant and abundant dishes. The bread is fabulous and together with each first course an entree of your choice between soup or salad is offered. The carbonara made strictly without cream is also good! The service was perfect: fast and professional, in particular Salvatore who served us was very kind and helpful, meeting every need. Prices slightly above average but worth it. Absolutely recommended! Ps. The bathroom was nice too!

Our first night in Munich, we opted for this Italian restaurant frankly because it was near our hotel and it was raining. The experience was really good. A beautiful space, excellent service, and authentic Italian food. Recommend.

Shrimp quality is pretty bad. Service is not good either (took 15min to get a bill and a wrong one. btw check the items in your bill. they added extra item to ours that we didn’t order at all) Very disappointment, not sure why they get a relative good rating in google.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Munich

We were 10 women at the JGA. The service was very very good. The nice gentlemen took our coats from us. The day's menu was brought and read out. The starters were at the table in no time. Also the drinks. The food was very, very tasty. The waiters were super friendly. When we left, the coats were brought back and put on for everyone. A very successful evening in a very good restaurant!

Wonderful experience with my girlfriend, a few weeks ago, we found the place through Google, and through photos and menu we decided to come and try. I must say I felt at home, I felt like I was in Italy for a moment, the welcome from the waiter and owner of the place was truly excellent, I really appreciated that they welcomed us with elegance and immediately seated us, describing the menu of the day. Different menu from all the restaurants in the area, if you want to eat well, you have to try. We ordered good wine, gnocchi alla vaccinara and linguine with langostino. After that we ordered a dessert which we didn't like very much, not because it wasn't good but because of our taste. So the waiter offered us their flagship, pistachio tiramisu, and I must say that we devoured it in less than 2 minutes. For the rest, what can I say, thanks for the experience, if I'm in Munich, I'll definitely stop by, the staff and chef are really good. Congratulations, definitely worth trying. 5 stars deserved.

My first time in Munich and the first place for lunch. I came according to the reviews. Surprisingly for Germany, excellent friendly service, English is spoken. They always wondered if everything liked it. My sea bass was at 5/5. I recommend it to everyone 🤌🏼

Sehr gutes Essen in perfektem Ambiente. Daher bin ich hier Stammgast. Hier stimmt auch die Harmonie zwischen Chef und Mitarbeitern sofern man es mitbekommt. Aus der Küche bekommt man immer köstlichkeiten. Wirklich einfallsreiche Tageskarte, aber auch eien einfache Pizza mundet hier bestens. Großes Lob, ich komme gerne weiterhin wieder. Unbedingt einen Tische reservieren.

Das Essen ist wirklich der Hammer mit sehr zuvorkommenden Kellnern. Leider hat die Aufmerksamkeit etwas nachgelassen, so dass das nachbestellen von Getränken etwas schwer war. Dennoch super höfliche Mitarbeiter, mit der besten Pizza die ich jemals genießen durfte!

Muy buena recomendación si buscas restaurante italiano en Munich. La comida bastante buena (al menos lo que nosotros probamos). Personalmente me pedí los gnochis al ragú que estaban de 10! El servicio fue amable y muy rápido. Los precios no son bajos -los gnochis 21,50€-, pero están bastante en la media de la ciudad.

Klasse und authentischer Italiener welcher mich mit seiner Karte und Wochenkarte überzeugt hat. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und das Ambiente ist einfach so wie es beim Italiener sein muss.
