Geschmacklich gut, Seeteufel und Sauce etwas zu salzig. Schönes Ambiente, netter Gastgeber

Waren spontan zum Abendessen hier und hatten beide Pasta Gerichte. Essen war hervorragend. Sowohl die Cabonara als auch Salsiccia. Dazu ein toller Montepulciano Rotwein. Preis Leistung wirklich sehr gut. Lage im Innenhof schon ruhig auch wenn man das eine oder andere von der Hauptverkehr Strasse mitbekommen hat. Aber uns hat es nicht gestört.

Wir waren heute Mittag spontan im Va Bene essen und konnten wegen des guten Wetters sogar draußen sitzen 👍🏼. Das Mittagsmenü war extrem lecker 😋… eine klare Empfehlung. Der Service war auf jeden Fall weit über dem Durchschnitt 👍🏼👍🏼. Preise: Für München absolut im Grünen Bereich: 2 mal Mittagsmenü und eine Flasche Wasser 45€ 👍🏼👍🏼 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit zwar gehobenen Preisen, aber die sind das Essen definitiv wert. Auch die Speisekarte ist eher überschaubar, was ich als gutes Zeichen werte, da man sich einfach ein paar Gerichte fokussiert und diese perfektioniert. Werden definitiv wieder kommen!

Kleines ordentliches Restaurant. Auf Grund der Größe und der Einrichtung wirkt es auf mich ungemütlich. Keine überladene Karte, den es wird frisch gekocht. Das Essen war gut, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Preis/ Leistung hat einem dann doch etwas zu denken gegeben.

Das Restaurant Va Bene hat es uns ermöglicht, unser Fest noch schöner zu gestalten. Wir haben eine Geburtstagsfeier organisiert, und alles, was wir uns gewünscht hatten, wurde zu 100% perfekt umgesetzt. Es hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Vom Ablauf der Organisation bis hin zum Essen war einfach alles fantastisch!

Was für ein verstecktes Juwel hier in München! Absolut empfehlenswert. Ein kleines, gemütliches Lokal mit einem Koch, der selbst Hand anlegt und frische, köstliche Gerichte zubereitet.

The food is typical Italian home cooking, and the portions are rather small. The service and ambiance are also mediocre. Therefore, I regret to say that the prices are not justified for the service offered.

Ein echter Geheimtipp in München! Meine Mutter und ich waren zum ersten Mal in München und haben dabei ein wahres Juwel entdeckt: das Va Bene. Vom ersten Moment an wurden wir vom Inhaber Nico herzlich empfangen, der alles dafür tat, unseren Abend zu etwas Besonderem zu machen. Wir bekamen sofort einen Platz und ein frischer Brotkorb wurde uns umgehend serviert – eine nette Geste, da man dafür in den meisten Restaurants extra bezahlen muss. Nico unterhielt sich persönlich mit uns, beantwortete all unsere Fragen zur Speisekarte und kreierte sogar Gerichte nach unseren Wünschen! Ich hätte mir kein besseres Essen wünschen können; es war einfach köstlich. Ich hatte ein reichhaltiges und geschmackvolles Pastagericht mit Meeresfrüchten, und meine Mutter genoss perfekt gegarte Jakobsmuscheln, Garnelen und Bratkartoffeln mit Pilzen. Unsere Vorspeise war Caprese, die wunderschön angerichtet und unglaublich lecker war. Nico empfahl uns dazu einen köstlichen Rotwein, der perfekt zu den Gerichten passte. Seine Liebe zum Detail und seine herzliche Gastfreundschaft waren wirklich bemerkenswert. Das Restaurant ist makellos sauber und elegant eingerichtet. Es gibt sowohl Innen- als auch Außensitzplätze, die beide eine warme, einladende Atmosphäre bieten. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgten dafür, dass es uns an nichts fehlte, ohne dass wir uns jemals gehetzt fühlten. Dies war eines der besten kulinarischen Erlebnisse, die ich je hatte. Nicos Freundlichkeit, Großzügigkeit und Leidenschaft für seine Arbeit sind deutlich spürbar. Ich kann das Va Bene nur wärmstens empfehlen – ein absolutes Muss bei einem Besuch in München! Vielen Dank an Nico und sein Team!

We always enjoy coming to Va Bene because the menu is varied. We had salmon with scallops on pasta (€32, a little too salty for me) and homemade pistachio tiramisu (€7.5, very tasty). With wine (around €10 for 0.2l) and Espessi, the three of us paid €125 (after deducting the B-MY Munich voucher book €27), which corresponds to the cuisine, service and ambience. It's also very centrally located on the Isartor.

Disappointing experience – not recommended Unfortunately, the restaurant did not meet my expectations in any way. The price-performance ratio was miserable. The dishes are expensive, but the quality left a lot to be desired. What was particularly noticeable was the unequal treatment of the guests - regular guests were given clear preference. As a starter there was bread, including a cheap mixed bread that was more reminiscent of supermarket quality. The starter vegetables were fine, but the carbonara was a bitter disappointment. Cream in carbonara? For me as an Italian, that was a warning signal that little was understood about Italian cuisine here. The dish was oily, tasteless and had nothing to do with real carbonara. The parmesan that we were given when we asked also tasted like absolutely nothing. I couldn't finish it, and the waiter/owner, obviously noticing this, only asked me "if I liked it" after a long time, after my half-full plate was in front of me. My comment that I didn't like it at all was accepted without emotion - all I was offered as compensation was an espresso, which I didn't drink. The restaurant tries to position itself high, sells itself as an "Italian", but unfortunately fails in terms of quality and service. Overall, absolutely not recommended. PS: And no, my husband didn't like it either, but he didn't comment on it at all because I was speaking for both of us. Unfortunately, he also had stomach pains all day after eating.

We were there with a voucher book and reservation. Overall, we were processed pretty quickly; we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. I didn't feel comfortable in the rushed atmosphere. My main course came while I was still chewing the starter. The food is OK but lacks sophistication. After an hour we were back at the door.

Delicious food and a warm environment. The owner, Nico, is great. He welcomes you and treats you well from the beginning to the end of the evening. He creates a wonderful atmosphere.

We used to enjoy coming here more often. After moving to Chiemgau we lost sight of it. Now after about 5 years we have done it again. We were thrilled as ever. The feel-good atmosphere in the small restaurant has remained. The Padrone is nice and attentive. The food (mixed starter, rack of lamb and the dolci) were excellent. In the future, Va Bene will be a must again during our stays in Munich!

In the middle of the city, this small courtyard is an oasis of peace and offers enough space when the weather is nice. Nevertheless, I recommend making a reservation. The food is delicious and the prices are okay for Munich. At the beginning the service was good and attentive - at the end I would have liked it to be the same. We came from Rosenheim and went to VaBene in Munich based on a recommendation. We were a group of 8 people and ate a la cart. The service was good at the beginning, the waiter took our orders and the starters arrived quite quickly. Since I have been working in service for years, I can say that my Vitello Tonnato was very tasty, but the price was not justified. There were a few slices of meat and some sauce and a tomato. Totally loveless. My husband's beef carpaccio, on the other hand, was perfect. Unfortunately, a starter was forgotten and an elementary part of one of the starters could not be found on the plate. Shortly afterwards the main courses came, I had the pasta with truffles, they alone deserve 5 stars ❤️ excellent!! After the main course, the service totally deteriorated and the waiter actually stopped coming to us. Conclusion: In my opinion, in order to charge such high prices, there has to be a little more in it. Sprite and Coke were also out, which was somehow strange on a Saturday evening. It was a nice evening, but the prices are not justified.

The rack of lamb was simple, but incredibly tender and tasted perfect! The terrace is cozy and is occasionally frequented by small animals, which cannot be completely avoided outdoors and are actually not really a nuisance. The service is courteous and I always enjoy coming back.

I tested the Va Bene cafe in the morning and tried the restaurant at night and it was a great experience for both. Located in the center but inside a building , with a nice terrace it’s both calm and refreshing to be outside in the summer. The staff is super friendly and you eat super good dishes, my raviolis were tasty and service was fast. Even though it looks like a fancy restaurant it’s well priced and I will definitely go back when I get a chance. Will they open another place I will go for sure.😁 Merci.

The food was tasty but a bit expensive for my taste (in my case spaghetti carbonara for 17€). The wine list is large and the lunch menu is also interesting. The courtyard has a great ambience and it's pretty quiet too. You should definitely try the restaurant.

Small, inconspicuous but very good Italian restaurant on Isartorplatz. The unadorned entrance shouldn't put anyone off; the service and food speak for themselves. Spontaneously got a spot on Friday evening. The menu is very extensive, the quality of the food is beyond doubt, the service is attentive and friendly, although it is now also a bit more expensive. Here we cook at a very high level without any attitude, which is now becoming increasingly rare in Munich. The five stars are very well deserved.

There were six of us in the restaurant. Almost everyone ordered something different for dinner. The staff was very nice right from the start. The restaurant has space for around 24 people and is served by three gentlemen. The cleanliness of the place is very worth mentioning. The meals were excellent and tasty. Despite the slightly higher prices, the ratio is okay. Only recommended

Rechnung allerdings genau kontrollieren, da mehr Sachen boniert wurden wie bestellt, was den guten Service wieder relativiert, Online Reservierung wurde nicht bestätigt und laut Google geschlossen. Liegt etwas versteckt, aber empfehlenswert.

Meine Freundin und ich waren heute nach einer Shopping-Tour in dem von außen unscheinbaren Lokal. Wir waren vom Service und Essen total begeistert. Ich hatte extrem schmackhafte Trüffelnudeln und meine Freundin nach eigener Aussage das beste Risotto ihres Lebens. Zum Abschluss gab es neben einem Pistazienkuchen mit Mangosorbet noch einen Limoncello aufs Haus. Besser geht es nicht! Klare Empfehlung!!!

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut auf das Essen, da es auf den Bildern im Internet super ausgesehen hat. Tagliatelle mit Trüffel und Pinienkerne, die Pinienkerne waren auf den Tellern von jedem von uns schwarz. Verbrannt. Der Trüffel war nicht frisch, den hat man kaum geschmeckt. Service war ganz gut. Sehr sehr schade, ihr hättet viel mehr Potential gehabt. Aber bei so wenig Gästen und so vielen Mitarbeitern, muss das nicht sein. Wir kommen leider nicht mehr wieder..

Love this cozy restaurant. The owner "Nico" always take good care of every guests and remember what they like. The food & wine are delicious with reasonable price. Will visit again and again!

Wir waren das erste Mal im Va Bene, und die Karte klang sehr vielversprechend. Leider hat uns dann der Abend insgesamt nicht überzeugt. Man möchte als gehobenes italienisches Restaurant gelten, aber fehlende Professionalität im Service sowie viel zu kleine Portionen sind dabei nicht stimmig. Der Wein wird im Gastraum im Regal stehend "gelagert", gleiche Gerichte kommen unterschiedliche dekoriert auf verschiedenen Tellern, Bestellungen nicht notiert und dann vergessen. Am Nachbartisch hat die Kommunikation auch nicht geklappt (Gast wollte zwei Vorspeisen, eine davon als Hauptgericht, aber es wurde beide gleichzeitig serviert). Das Essen an sich war gut.

Wie waren mit dem Gutscheinbuch dort. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt und unscheinbar im Hinterhof. Gemütlicher, schicker kleiner Laden mit riesiger Weinauswahl. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen aber eher kleiner. Trotz geteilter Vorspeise waren wir nach dem Hauptgericht noch etwas hungrig. Dafür sind die Preise dann etwas stolz. Uns wurde leider kein Brot zur Vorspeise gereicht. Unser Wasser wurde vergessen, die 2 Hauptgerichte mit größerem Abstand serviert, mein Essen war bis dahin nur noch lauwarm. Der Strohhalm im Aperol hatte ein Loch und dabei ist nicht zu vergessen das wir zu dem Zeitpunkt nur zu zweit im gesamten Lokal waren mit drei Angestellten. Es kam noch zwei Gäste, ebenfalls mit Gutscheinbuch, diese bekamen noch vor den Getränken Brot. Die Bedienung ist ständig umher gelaufen und hat hier und da was zurecht gezupft und war für unseren Geschmack fast zu freundlich. Der Service war an sich aber zuvorkommend und hat gepasst. Der Hinweis darauf das man die Gäste mit Gutscheinbuch genauso behandelt wie ohne war sicher nett gemeint, hat es aber auch komisch gemacht. Fazit: Kann man schon machen.

Das Restaurant konnte uns leider nicht vollständig überzeugen. Während die Weinauswahl und die Beratung dazu sehr gut waren, konnte das Essen nicht mithalten. Die Steinpilze in den Spaghetti schmeckten nach Tiefkühlware und die Vorspeisen waren lieblos dekoriert und nichts Besonderes. Auch das Ambiente ließ zu wünschen übrig: Es war viel zu eng und laut, man hörte alle Gespräche der Nachbarn. Die Lage des Restaurants ist nicht sonderlich schön und insgesamt war es für die gebotene Leistung auch zu teuer, vor allem da die Portionen recht übersichtlich waren.

Wir haben kurzfristig noch einen Tisch bekommen und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Neben dem super leckeren Essen, dem klasse Wein und dem angenehmen Ambiente, war die Bedienung ein weiteres Highlight. Sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr hilfreich in der Zusammenstellung der einzelnen Gänge. Das Restaurant ist von aussen eher unscheinbar, aber der Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Absolute Empfehlung!

Tolles Dinner mit meiner Freundin hier gehabt. Ich fand es ausgesprochen nett, dass die Küche den Seeteufel nochmal frisch auf einem Teller zubereitet hat, als meine Freundin gemeint hatte, er sei nicht genug gekocht/gebraten gewesen. Der Wein aus der Karte war sehr lecker und auch mein Safran Risotto war super. Kommen gerne wieder.
