Nice low volume music, and the noise in the restaurant is low even though it was nearly full. They accepted me without reservation on Friday night.

Das Restaurant rheinzeit ist ein feines, kleines, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant, mit einer sehr freundlichen zuvorkommenden Bedienung. Die Gerichte sind von hervorragender Qualität und die Kombinationen der einzelnen Speisen sind teils speziell zusammengestellt, das macht die Besonderheit der rheinzeit aus. Rundum ein sehr gelungener Besuch, der regelrecht nach einer Wiederholung ruft!!!👍👍

A friendly restaurant with a nicely curated menu and well prepared. A great place for a relaxed evening meal.

The atmosphere is very simple and modern, more like a cafeteria, but quite nice given the space. The clientele consists predominantly of the local boomers and seniors. The prices are also geared towards this demographic. The service is extremely friendly and attentive, absolutely exemplary. The food, on the other hand, was quite bland, barely seasoned, and the sauce very thin. Perhaps that's what the seniors want.

This is a nice little restaurant in the heart of Bad Godesberg's residential area. We first came here only because a friend lives nearby, but the ambiance, combined with the incredibly friendly service and the incredibly delicious food, has brought us back time and time again. Price-wise, I'd put it in the upper mid-range, but I can only recommend the absolutely unbelievably delicious dishes here. Every time I'm here, I have the problem that I actually want to eat 3-4 dishes, but my stomach just can't manage it. The restaurant also has a good selection of wines. The interior is reminiscent of a cozy living room at home with a beautiful ceiling, where I always want to be in the fall or winter. The lamps create a very inviting feeling, and I feel relieved there. All in all, a great place that I enjoy visiting again and again!

All the dishes were delicious, and the wines were also absolutely impressive. They're reasonably priced and generously served by the glass. The service was prompt and friendly; it was an all-around successful evening. We thank you so much and will be back.

Service was very attentive and extremely friendly. The food was delicious and the selection varied. However, the fact that the improvised "we'll let you surprise you" starter plate (with 5 scampi, 4 strips of beef, 1 falafel, 1 burrata, 2 tomato slices, 4 zucchini slices, and a dip) ended up costing €59 is simply disproportionate and doesn't leave a good impression. I trust a restaurant to charge appropriate prices for deviations from the menu or "special requests." Unfortunately, that trust has been lost in this regard. Lesson learned: only order from the menu and don't be surprised. Then there won't be any surprises when paying.

Generally speaking, a good location. The quality of the food and drinks was good. Regular customers or members of the Boomer generation receive a welcome from the kitchen, but this was not offered to other guests. The numerous dogs among the guests were inappropriate; such a thing doesn't belong at a dinner in what is supposed to be a stylish setting. The restaurant definitely has potential for improvement. If Söder's VAT were already in effect, the prices would be reasonable. The service was friendly.

One of those places where more effort is put on how an item sounds on the menu and looks on the plate than tastes. Quite expensive for what you get and the taste is ok but not great. Pretentious is an accurate description.

A beautifully decorated shop with very friendly staff and fast service. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. In the beetroot carpaccio, the described burrata was simply replaced with a small slice of buffalo mozzarella. The risotto was plentiful but barely edible because it was very salty, and the goat cheese, which was also salty, wasn't a complete success. It was apparently passed on to the kitchen... nothing happened after that. For a 25-euro risotto, everything should be perfect. Last chance was dessert, which was unfortunately also disappointing. The crème brûlée was very runny when cold, and the scoop of ice cream on top was melted and the size of a teaspoon. Maybe I was just unlucky, but this shouldn't be the norm.

By far one of the best restaurants in all of Bonn. Delicious food, super nice service. Weekly changing dishes with unbeatable prices on the lunch menu. We enjoy eating there every time and have never been disappointed.

The rheinzeit restaurant is beautifully located between the over 100-year-old representative houses on Rheinallee. In summer, the large terrace in front of the restaurant and the quietness of the street with little traffic are impressive. We like to visit the rheinzeit restaurant for dinner and are always impressed by the cuisine. The card leaves nothing to be desired. The service is very courteous and attentive. We make eye contact with the boss and he asks whether we are satisfied. We feel comfortable and come regularly. Please reserve the table in advance. Prices are in line with comparable restaurants in other cities. We particularly enjoy eating salmon. We enjoy the quality, the atmosphere and now a feeling of well-being. As is the case everywhere, parking is not easy. Park on a side street and walk to the restaurant. Fresh air and the old houses on the way to the restaurant are nice. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Leider kann ich mich den positiven Bewertungen nicht anschließen. Ich hatte Tagliatelle mit Rumpsteakstreifen. Die Nudeln waren überkocht und lieblos angerichtet. Waren viel aber matschig. Ich habe lieber weniger und al dente. Dafür hatten die wenigen Rumpsteakstückchen mehr Biss als gewünscht. Könnte man sagen: das hat sich ausgeglichen. Aber knapp 30 € dafür sind mehr als unangebracht. Vielleicht hatte der Koch nur einen schlechten Tag. Aber: die Sauce war lecker. Hatten auch angeboten, das ganze neu zu kochen und zu servieren. Bitte gleich mit etwas mehr Liebe anrichten. Der Service war gut und freundlich.

The restaurant was recommended to us and it is definitely a good restaurant on the corner. But you should know certain key data in advance. If you're under 50, you might get weird looks at you. If you don't drink wine, you seem a little strange, so we ask again. Plus, the waiters are only nice until they turn around. Even then, the fake smile creeps out of their faces. The food is… well, just a bit overpriced. For people who like pasta with pesto, I mean. It's fitting, I guess, because the people who go there don't seem to mind it, they just celebrate it.

We had the bad luck (not a reservation) to eat in the moderately heated awning. The service was attentive and tried hard. The wine was excellent. We both had "Land and Sea" Very good fish and an excellent salad. Only the veal fillet, which was on both plates, was not edible. Tough, sinewy and dry. It's a shame actually.

Auch bei unserem zweiten Besuch der Rheinzeit wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Positiv war bereits die Reservierung am Telefon, die von einer jungen Frau freundlich entgegen genommen wurde. Dieser aufmerksame Service setzte sich vor Ort fort. Der gebratene Chicorée mit Büffel-Mozarella und Gin-Sauce war zwar nicht so schön anzusehen aber mal was Neues und lecker. Die Gänsekeule und Gänsebrust mit Rotkohl und Klösen wurde von einer sehr leckeren und schmackhaften Sauce begleitet. Das Ganze tu einem angemessen Preis. Auch die Ravioli "Rheinzeit" mit Pinienkernen, Salbei Ruccola und Parmesan schmeckten wunderbar. Wir kommen sicherlich gerne auch ein drittes Mal wieder.

Wir waren im Rahmen eines Betriebsausflugs gegen Mittag in der Gaststätte Rheinzeit. Der Stress in der Küche, den wir von unseren Plätze. Im Innenraum mitbekommen durften, hat sich wohl negativ auf das Essen ausgewirkt. Leider habe ich selten so schlecht gegessen. Zudem kann ein Teil des Essens erst nach der dritten Nachfrage.

Bei meinem ersten Besuch wurden wir auf einer gemütlichen Terrasse von einem sehr netten und aufmerksamen Service bedient. Unsere 4 unterschiedlichen Essen war sehr lecker, dazu der passende, vorzügliche Wein. Die Preise sind auch hier mittlerweile schon eher gehoben, dafür wird aber auch gute Qualität und ein vorzüglicher Service geboten.

Rhine time is rightly no longer an insider tip. Beautiful ambience inside and out, excellent, friendly service and imaginatively created, delicious dishes make Rheinzeit a top address. I have reserved again for today and July 30, 2024.

There were seven of us here and although the restaurant was quite full, a table was lovingly set up for us outside. Despite the busyness, the waitresses were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food and the ambience made us very happy.

The food is delicious. The prices are rather high. You shouldn't go there as a group... you wait forever for the food... the kitchen and the service are then overwhelmed!

In the middle of the Godesberg villa district, a small, very cozy restaurant with a menu that offers something for every taste - at reasonable prices. The lunch menu is also very attractive, a small starter salad and a water are included! The coffee is Italian standard and the service is friendly and attentive! We'd love to come back :-)

This experience showed a lack of professionalism and hospitality, making it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment due to the unwelcoming attitude towards guests looking to enjoy their time, regardless of how much or little they initially order.

Hier stimmt alles! Sehr netter Service, entspannte Atmosphäre und unser Essen war äußerst lecker! Wir waren 7 Personen, mit 7 verschiedenen Speisen, es gab nur Lob. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I had dinner there with two friends last Sunday and all three of us were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is beautifully designed inside, modern yet cozy with a special touch (the ceiling of the restaurant is made of squares from various scraps of wallpaper). A tent was erected on the terrace in front of the restaurant so that the tables can also be used in winter. Radiant heaters ensure a pleasant climate. The team is young and extremely friendly, without seeming fake. We really liked the menu because it offers different dishes and combinations. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled by the large selection of imaginative dishes. The pasta with pears and walnuts in Gorgonzola sauce - a poem! All in all, an absolute recommendation! But be sure to reserve a table (we wisely did) - on Sunday evening all tables were occupied. The photo of the guest room was taken at the end - we were among the last guests :-) Thank you for this lovely evening. We will be back!

Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne für Service / Getränke und Ambiente. Das Essen dafür nur 2 Sterne weil die hohen Schwankungen in der Qualität der Gerichte sind erstaunlich. Ziegensalat (nicht die Vorspeise) und die Panna Cotta fand ich gut, der Rest war eher fast ohne Geschmack. Ich fühlte mich von der Würze her wie im Altersheim. Passt irgendwie...

Verschrikkelijk! Het personeel was zeer onvriendelijk geen belangstelling en niet netjes. Het eten was binnen 5 min al op tafel, wij hadden beide een schnitzel maar deze was niet te eten, koud, super vet en wij denken ook heel oud.

Ich war im letzten Jahr dreimal beruflich in Königswinter und jedesmal abends im Rheinzeit. Der Service war jedesmal hervorragend, aufmerksam und mit guten Empfehlungen. Gegessen habe ich jedesmal hervorragend, sowohl aus dem Menue als aucg von der Tageskarte. Aus meiner Sicht ist das Peis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung. Sollte ich wieder nach Bonn kommen, werde ich wieder im Rheinzeit sitzen. Klare Empfehlung

Qualität hat stark nachgelassen. Meiner Meinung nach war der Besitzer schon häufiger auch zu anderen Gästen unverschämt. Wartezeit auf das Essen teilweise 1h, die Küche sei unterbesetzt und es würde nur auf 4 Feuer gekocht.

Mein Essen war fantastisch (Gänsekeule mit Rotkohl und Klößen für 29,50€). Das Fleisch war so zart, dass es quasi vom Knochen fiel. Eine mehr als reichliche Portion. Dafür war der Aperitif etwas klein für den Preis. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, aber es würde sich sehr bemüht, uns noch unterzubekommen. Ein sehr netter Service.

Wir verbrachten hier den Vorabend meines Geburtstages und waren begeistert von einem Spitzen mäßigen Essen, exzellenten Weinen und einer hervorragenden Bedienung, von der wir uns wahrgenommen und superklasse betreut fühlten! Das fast Garten ähnliche und angenehm dezent wirkende Restaurant mit seiner behaglichen Terrasse (edel liegend am Anfang einer Wohnstraße ...) verfügt über ein junges, geschliffenes Serviceteam, das neben exzellenter Küche und lässig-schicker Atmosphäre das Seine dazu beiträgt, dass ohne Reservierung "nur wenig Schlemmer-Chance" besteht > > > daher auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und sind unüblich lange in diesem Restaurant geblieben . . . ein größeres Zeugnis für wahres Wohlbefinden kann es wohl kaum geben. Auch wenn es nicht gerade preiswert ist (kein Wunder in diesem Areal . . .), so sagen wir trotzdem Merci für einen "klasse RHEINZEIT-Abend" im eleganten Bad Godesberg!

Wir gehen gerne zum Mittagessen dahin. Abends waren wir ebenfalls schon da. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Karte wechselt in Teilen wöchentlich.

Meine Freundin und ich besuchen die rheinzeit regelmäßig und sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert von der vorzüglichen Küche. Die Qualität der Lebensmittel ist stets auf höchstem Niveau, und man schmeckt die Sorgfalt und Hingabe, die in jedes Gericht gesteckt werden. Die Karte ist übersichtlich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Service im Restaurant ist äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Auch der Chef kommt hin und wieder an den Tisch und erkundigt sich, ob man zufrieden ist. In Bezug auf die Preise haben wir beim letzten Mal festgestellt, dass sie etwas angestiegen sind. Allerdings sind wir der Meinung, dass Qualität ihren Preis hat - sowohl was die Speisen als auch das Personal angeht. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Saucen mit zu viel Butter, Service vergisst viel, Tische wackeln, insgesamt war es das Geld nicht wert

Zur Rheinzeit gehen wir immer wieder gerne hin, wenn wir einen schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen haben wollen. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas: Pasta, Vegetarisches, Salate, Fleisch, Fisch etc...alles etwas ausgefallene Rezepte und so lecker.Der Service ist unglaublich nett und flink und die Wartezeit auf Essen und Getränke sehr angenehm. Dieses Mal entschieden wir uns für Salat mit Lachs( butterweich), Mango und Avocado und Salat mit gebackenem Ziegenkäse mit Honig und Walnüssen.Eigentlich ist alles hier empfehlenswert, wir kommen bald wieder.

Eine Kombination aus französischem Bistro und deutscher Stube. Sehr kundenfreundlicher Service. Umfangreiche Speisekarte für Vegetarier und drei alkoholfreie Aperitifs zur Auswahl. Köstlich. Einziger Nachteil für uns waren die großen Portionen (was für jemand anderen vielleicht ein Pluspunkt ist :D). Deshalb auch kein Dessert, dafür aber ein ausgezeichneter Espresso zum Abschluss.

Vorab der Grund für die negative Bewertung. Die Spareribs waren eine absolute Katastrophe. Dafür würde ich nicht mal einen Stern vergeben. Sie ließen sich nicht ansatzweise vom Knochen lösen und haben so geschmeckt als hätten sie fertig mariniert für 10 min in der Pfanne gelegen. Absolut nicht vertretbar zu dem Preis und diesem Restaurant. Meine Freundin war mit ihren Nudeln mit Trüffelsoße sehr zufrieden, daher 2 Sterne. Der Service war höflich und zuvorkommend. Jedesmal wenn ich abends spazieren gehe und das Restaurant sehe, ärgere ich mich über die Erfahrung mit den spareribs.

Trotz schlechtem Wetter, kein Platz im Garten, war es Mal wieder gut. Es schmeckt halt und passt alles zusammen. Ich finde das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Guter Platz um schön und gut zu Essen.

Ein durch und durch empfehlenswertes Lokal! Wir haben es auf Empfehlung entdeckt, waren innerhalb kürzester Zeit mehrmals dort und waren jedes Mal positiv angetan vom aufmerksamen und professionellen Service, der heute leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Das Essen ist in der Qualität, im Geschmack und in der Darbietung/Anrichtung sehr gut und steht in einem wirklich gutem Preisleistungsverhältnis.

Tolle Location mit wunderbarem Ambiente im Villenviertel von Bad Godesberg. Vorzügliche Küche mit hervorragende Bedienung. Wir kommen sehr bald wieder!

This was the first restaurant I ate at in Germany as a study abroad student in 2022, and it was one of the last meals I had also. I kid you not, I ordered the same thing both times and I still dream about it. I’m not kidding. I have dreams about going back to Germany and needing to get this dish. Wir waren zu Mittag mit 6 Personen. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend,der Service sehr freundlich.Das wars dann auch schon. Wir haben endlos lange gewartet,obwohl das Restaurant schwach besucht war.Es gab vorab keinen Gruß aus der Küche ,nicht einmal Brot. Das Essen war bescheiden.Bei einer Vorspeise waren 2 winzige Jakobsmuscheln auf ungewürzten Linsen ,der Antipastiteller bestand aus 2 Scheiben Salami mit Gemüse. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht

Wir waren heute Abend zum dritten Mal in der Rheinzeit. Beim ersten Mal war ich sehr zufrieden. Beim zweiten Mal war das Argentinische Rumsteak meines Mannes eine Schuhsohle und nachdem uns der Chef um eine letzte Chance gebeten hatte, waren wir heute Abend zum Geburtstag meines Vater mit 6 Erwachsene und 3 Kindern dort. Erstmal hatte ich am Telefon nachgefragt, ob der Tisch im trockenen ist, leider ist die eine Seite des Tisches nass geworden. Schön fand ich, dass der Tisch auch für die Kinder vorbereitet war. Aber alles andere war wirklich unter aller Kanonen für den wirklich sehr hohen Preis den wir bezahlt haben. Ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll. Die Karte ist total unübersichtlich aufgebaut, aber das wussten wir ja bereits…Wir haben insgesamt fast 2 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet🤔. Die Kinder waren völlig am Ende. Der Service kam nicht hinterher. Die Küche kam nicht hinterher. Der Chef war nicht da um mit uns zu sprechen. Das Eis für die Kinder war völlig lieblos in Martini Gläsern rein geklatscht 😱. Das Kalbsfleisch durchwachsen. Die Tortelini meiner Mutter total hart. Wir haben nie eine Rechnung gesehen. Als wir uns bei der Bedienung beschwert haben kamen nur schnippische Antworten und auf meine Ankündigung einer schlechten Bewertung bei Google sagt sie mir ich würde sie bedrohen. 🙈 Eine Bedrohung ist etwas anderes, das war eine Ankündigung! Es kam kein Entgegenkommen von Seiten des Restaurants, sehr enttäuschend! Ich bin wirklich unfassbar enttäuscht und hätte mir für meinen Papa einfach einen schöneren Geburtstagsabend gewünscht. Das macht mich sehr traurig. Es war definitiv der allerletzte Besuch! Absolut keine Empfehlung und besonders mit kleineren Kindern auf keinen Fall! Da ist wohl viel Zeit den Rhein runter gegangen!

Kleines Restaurant im Bad Godesberger Villenviertel, mediterrane Küche, Service sehr aufmerksam und Essen richtig lecker mit wechselnden Gerichten. Etwas hochpreisiger, aber Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt noch, Parksituation tlw. angespannt

Exzellentes Essen, Service und Ambiente. Unsere Erwartungen wurden zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant! Ich würde sagen, dass das ein „Bekannter Insider“ unter Bonnern ist. Die Speisekarte ist, glaube ich, die Beste, die Bonn zu bieten hat. Man hat wirklich eine unheimlich tolle und große Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen und Desserts. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Rheinzeit würde ich jedem empfehlen und ist für uns mittlerweile die Nummer 1, wenn wir auswärts essen gehen wollen! Die Auswahl an Speisen ist außergewöhnlich und in der Konstellation glaube ich woanders nicht zu finden.

Sorry, 26,90€ für Spare Rips, 5,90€ für trockenes Brot mit Ajoli, dazu noch enorme Wartezeit bis das Essen kam, ist leider von meiner Seite aus, trotz nettem Service nur 3 Sterne wert.
