The food was great as always. The service is simply great, super attentive and accommodating. I appreciate the good food, friendliness, quality and all of this consistency since the elephant existed. The food is really delicious. Unfortunately, I recently experienced a situation that left me shocked and speechless. Because I want to go out to dinner soon with a friend who uses an electronic wheelchair, I asked Keller if there was a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the restaurant. The waiter said no and recommended that I use the public toilets, which are not far from the restaurant. If the man had simply said that you didn't have such a facility, that would have been perfectly fine. What annoyed me was that he wanted to make money from someone but couldn't meet the criteria for this service. You don't send your guests to public toilets. By the way, Germany committed to integrating disabled people in 2009 and integration also includes something like a disabled toilet.

Always a focal point in the city center. Good bus, very good home cooking and a wide range of dishes. It's nice that there is also delicious Allgäu beer bt, but the drinks menu also offers decent wine. Nice service, ambience tidy, civil. Everything's fine.

Danger ! Pretty arrogant service. You often stand at the door for minutes to be assigned a seat, even though there are enough service staff observing the presence of customers and not otherwise busy. And be careful, the restaurant is often completely reserved shortly after 5 p.m.! So have fun!

Hello, I saw a lot of photos and videos online about this restaurant and wanted to try eating there myself. First of all, I was impressed by the ambience, very rustic and clean, all the tables outside lit up, idyllic… Then to the service; fast, competent, oriented. To eat; It wasn't bad but nothing special either, unfortunately a bit disappointed in that regard. Small portions and not even anything “green”. For €70 I would have imagined a little more. Too bad...

I had a really great experience at Elefant Bonn. The food was very tasty, especially if you like meat dishes, the steak and sausage were excellent. There is also a choice for vegetarians, the vegetable soup and the potato garnish were very good. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a stroll through the city. The prices were also very fair for the service provided.

At the beginning of December I had dinner at the Elephant, the atmosphere was very inviting and cozy, friendly service and quick service. I had read other reviews about the Wiener Schnitzel and ordered it...so it was really fantastic!! Tender beef, perfect breading, I can really recommend it to everyone! The mashed potatoes were also delicious. Yeast dumplings as dessert were also wonderful!! I also tried my companion's cabbage rolls and apple cakes...excellent!! I will definitely come back on my next stay in Bonn!! 😍

Good food and service. The salads are big and good. But the drink is excessively expensive. They charged us €3.5 for each glass of tap water. They also charge €0.80 for ketchup and mayonnaise.

What can I say about this restaurant because there is a lot to say here. The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly, helpful and very nice. Let's get to food. The cutlet I ordered was cooked halfway right. The pepper sauce that I ordered as a side dish deserves everything but not the name pepper sauce. I also found the amount of sauce a disgrace that I had to pay extra for it. The meat didn't convince me either. The only thing that was really tasty were the fries. But I can also get them from any chip shop that delivers reasonably good quality. When it comes to the food, I find the value for money to be in stark contrast to what you would actually be willing to pay for it. The menu only shows dishes where I have to pay extra for each side dish. So a cutlet with side dishes such as fries and a sauce easily costs around €40. And I'm sorry, even with increased prices and increased energy prices are disproportionate. For me personally that means I won't visit this restaurant again May everyone have their own experience.

Food for 7 people was perfectly fine Worth 5 stars. Complaint about a cold steak was immediately accepted and replaced. However, treated water came from the tap to the table. The waitress presented it that way, which is why the price is excessive and not justified. Herbal butter purchased not from our own production. Otherwise the price-performance ratio is right. Gladly again without water.

Alle Komponenten passen und das an verschiedenen Tagen mit unterschiedlichem Personal und gleichbleibender Küche im Weihnachstsstress. Tolles Team. Großes Lob!

The food tasted very good. The service was very friendly. Despite the fact that it was very full and all the waitresses were stressed, our waitress still had some fun in store, even though I ordered mushrooms instead of a Kölsch.😊 The ambience is also nice so that you like to linger longer.

We were there for dinner today on December 20, 2024 at around 6 p.m. The service was very nice and on the ball, the food was great. We ate a tartare as a starter and then a very tasty burger and a homemade cabbage roll, which was also very tasty. But the highlight was the sauce on the cabbage roll, it was sensational!! Although the restaurant was busy the whole time, the entire process with service and kitchen ran optimally and without any hassle. The restaurant is highly recommended.

A really cozy restaurant where you immediately feel at home. The steak was cooked to perfection - it couldn't be better! Wir sind hier nach einem Besuch auf dem Bonner Weihnachtsmarkt eingekehrt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und konnte vorbildlich Auskunft über die verschiedenen Gerichte geben. Hoch erfreut hat mich, dass die Küche sehr gut auf meine Lebensmittel-Unverträglichkeiten reagieren konnte und ich so meine bevorzugte Speise in leicht abgewandelter Form genießen konnte. Dazu bietet das Restaurant ein wirklich nettes Ambiente und ist nicht allzu laut. Speisen und Getränke wurden schnell geliefert und last but not least hat es ganz hervorragend geschmeckt. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

The cabbage roulade with the mashed potatoes and the delicious dark sauce tasted very tasty. My friend had the Wienerschnitzel, which she also really enjoyed. There was a lot going on in the restaurant but our waiter was friendly and attentive. If I ever find myself in Bonn again, I will definitely come here to eat again.

I've been seeing it for ages and finally ate there! How many years I have wasted without being there! A warm welcome from a young and committed team! The food: home cooking reinterpreted! Excellently prepared, great quality and super tasty! Lavish portion, not possible with normal hunger - unfortunately! I could have fallen in love with the fries and roasted potatoes! Attentive inquiries about satisfaction, drinks always filled - perfect! I give it 10 out of a possible 5 points. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

While the place looked ok, a serious amount of training in customer service was required. I felt greatly offended when the waiter shoved us away when the place was full! That tone felt like “You are not worth dining here, too expensive you cannot afford so go somewhere”.

Traditional german lunch in Bonn. We had meat balls and Cabage Roll meat. Really good... and i cant forgot our delicious lentil soup to keep us warm.

We spontaneously passed the elephant and got a table. However, reservations are an advantage as it was very well attended. We had 2x Wiener Schnitzel, 1x Wiener Schnitzel and a pasta with meat. All dishes were delicious. Reception and the waiter were always friendly and on the ball. We will definitely come here again on our next visit to Bonn.

Absolutely incredible. That is the most appropriate adjective for this restaurant in Bonn. Incredibly delicious: The food is not run-of-the-mill like in hundreds of other restaurants, but you can find unusual dishes such as kale, meatloaf, Königsberger meatballs, creamed spinach and so on. And how delicious it is true! To kneel down (I had kale, my steaks were meatloaf and rump steak). Incredibly beautifully decorated: At Christmas time it was a very festive and cozy atmosphere. Incredibly friendly: When it comes to service, some restaurants can really excel at not just one, but several. Friendly, helpful, accommodating, fast, attentive. Every cent of the tip was well deserved. For everyone who wants to try it: Be sure to reserve a table, it was packed (so it's not an insider tip 😉)

We often go here when we are in Bonn. Very nice service and very tasty food. Part of the menu changes depending on the season. Classics stay the same. All of high quality. You should definitely make a reservation for the evenings, even during the week.

Unimaginably great card. The food and drink are high quality and very tasty. The staff is friendly, incredibly unobtrusive and has perfect service. Even though we were there on Friday evening, there was no unpleasant crowd, pleasant noise. Explained very briefly… always happy!

Ohne Reservierung am Samstag um ca 14 Uhr fast kein Platz zu bekommen. Draussen kann man sich setzen, wo frei ist. Innen mit "Platzanweisung". Wir mussten paar Minuten warten. Super freundliches Personal. Getränke schnell am Tisch. Kohlroulade mit Kartoffelstampf wie bei Muttern. Schnitzel Wiener Art (für mich) etwas zu dünn. Aber lecker. Pommes fand ich sehr gut. Der Punkt Abzug ist für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. 1-2€ weniger wäre der Tellergröße angemessen.

Absolutely amazing food, service and location.

Service is always really friendly and accommodating. Great! The food is also okay. However, I would like to see fewer convenience products used in the kitchen. Serving a cabbage roll that claims to be homemade with ready-made mashed potatoes makes no sense to me. You could get a lot out of this with a great homemade mashed potatoes and homemade sauce. With the leaf spinach as a side dish for 5.70, I was disappointed that it came from the frozen food chest and was rather mediocre. Burger was good, Wiener Schnitzel too, but MUCH too small. Please go to Bavaria and experience what is served there for 30% less of the price! Otherwise good job, keep it up!

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The German blood sausage was absolutely delightful—rich and full of flavor. The sauerkraut with dumplings was also fantastic, perfectly complementing the dish. I tried the Irish coffee as well, and while it’s definitely a unique combination with the alcohol, it can be a bit strong if you’re not used to it. However, with the cream on top, it looked and tasted like a masterpiece. Overall, a great meal with some unforgettable flavors!

We made a reservation at this restaurant because of its many good reviews. I was surprised by the friendly and very professional voice on the phone who asked about any special features or requests. When we arrived there we were greeted by a friendly and open-minded service team. The food was first class (I have to strongly recommend the Königsberger Klöpse!!) We'll be back, I promise!!!

We always like to come back when we are in Bonn, no problem with a stroller and dog, enough space and above all very nice service and great cuisine.
