We come here often and have never been disappointed! The service is incredibly good, the food is fantastic, and a particular highlight is the pre-Christmas season, when you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Christmas market outside, even with a thick jacket on!

I've been there a few times and i have always liked the food, the atmosphere and the service.

Great! We went to Boon to sort out some things, and at a certain point, we got hungry. My husband looked at the reviews everywhere, and this was the best. We trusted it, and we did very well. They didn't disappoint. And we're not from the area. Everything was delicious, everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the price was also good.

Excellent food, vegan options available. Unfortunately, a bit pricey. But the taste is worth it.

We had dinner at the Elefant on Saturday evening. From the service to the food, it was truly first-class. Our table was right next to a wedding party, so it was very loud. It was unpleasant.

Whether it was schnitzel, tarte flambée, or burgers, everything tasted delicious, and everyone was satisfied by the end of the meal. The homemade lemonades are also highly recommended. The service staff were friendly, attentive, and quick. For us, it was a successful visit to the restaurant, and we would be happy to return.

This is where you can get the fastest beer in Bonn. The service is great, the waiters super attentive! Special requests? No problem! I really enjoy coming here. The beer arrives quickly, and the food tastes good. Sure, sometimes you could use more food selection, but everything here is good to very good.

We were here again on August 23, 2025. The food was good, but the service was unfortunately not friendly and inattentive.

I found the location in Bonn's old town to be very convenient. It had a great, cozy atmosphere, the service was very friendly, and the Wiener Schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce was outstanding. I've rarely had a better version.

A very central German tavern. Excellent service, but the best part is the food. The sausages are very large and tasty. The price is good, and the space is very spacious, so there's plenty of room even during rush hour. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Four of us ate. Everyone was satisfied. I had beef tartare, which was delicious. The truffle mayonnaise was divine.

The restaurant is iconic in Bonn. The service is fast, friendly, and efficient. The menu is limited, but it features freshly cooked meals. I ordered the veal schnitzel with Kartoffel-Gurkensalat, and it was delicious. My only remark is about the size of the schnitzel: it comes as one large piece and one half piece, making it look like two schnitzels, but it’s a bit misleading, especially given the price of 30 euros. The taste is delicious, however, and I might order it again.

At first glance, you might think this is a very expensive place, but it isn't, prices are normal for the food quality. The service is friendly and looking for you having a great experience.

Very delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere. The menu isn't too extensive, but there's something for everyone. "Classic" dishes are given a modern interpretation, and the result is excellent. The interior design is very well done, with the elephant theme evident in many small and large details. The service is friendly and attentive.

A taste experience for me. I'm very excited about my selection. I had the rib-eye steak – incredibly delicious. I also chose leaf spinach as a side dish. It was also incredibly tasty. The staff is super friendly and takes good care of their guests. My companion had the Wiener veal schnitzel. It was just as delicious and tasty. There were no complaints or anything to fault. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. You feel at home. We'd love to come back :-) See you next time.

I chose the Hans Wurst, which was visually attractive. Unfortunately, I found the dish rather simple in terms of content – something I can easily prepare at home. For a mediocre portion, a price of 12 euros seems rather steep. The price-quality ratio was disappointing. The ginger ale, however, was pleasant and flavorful.

You immediately feel welcome here. The service? Top-notch! Friendly, attentive, professional – yet relaxed and personable. You can tell that the work here is done with passion. The food? Simply wow. From the fresh bread with herb quark and the crisp, colorful side salad to the schnitzel with fried potatoes and the creamy penne – everything was homemade, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. And even the detox water was a highlight – refreshing, stylish, and lovingly served. Kudos to the chef – this is someone who not only learned his craft, but lives it with passion! As for the ambiance: rustic meets modern. Beautiful wooden tables, clean glasses, fine tableware – thought through down to the smallest detail. You can feel the love for the craft – and for hospitality. In conclusion: Everything is just right here. Disappointing, the burger was very meager. The bottom part of the bun was hard, the patty was small, thin, overcooked, and hard. The fried onions were a convenience store item. The fries were poorly peeled, and all for €19.95. Two burgers and a bottle of water cost €48.10. If the quality were right, everything would have been fine. The service was on top of its game.

The Elefant Bonn was chosen for a business meeting. We had been there earlier to have a quick bite to eat. We didn't regret it 😊 The Elefant Bonn has some delicious dishes on the menu. We opted for a beef tartare. It's enough for two people and is a delight from the first bite to the last. The service staff is friendly and attentive to all guests. The ambiance in the shopping street is quite nice. You can have a quiet conversation and/or enjoy your meal. The value for money is also quite good and really great for the quality and quantity. We highly recommend it 👍👍

Schönes Haus mit Tradition, das den Wandel im Namen problemlos umgesetzt hat. Über das Kölsch lässt sich diskutieren, aber der Main Stream in der Lage macht es sicher erforderlich. Das Essen ist von sehr guter Qualität, guter Service. Insgesamt fehlt es mir persönlich an Regionalität.

We went there twice. Actually by chance. We were so pleasantly surprised. The waiter was super friendly and funny. Very accommodating. On the first evening we ordered an Aperol Spritz; it was very well mixed and not very expensive. Very good value for money. On the second evening we walked in without a reservation. The same waiter managed to get us a table at a very busy restaurant. We were very happy. The food was sensational across the board. Very good portions, super tasty and very good value for money. Everything was honestly cooked. We would go back anytime and highly recommend it.
