The restaurant is well known, but we were disappointed 😞 great prices. .. first of all, what was ordered wasn't delivered, and then actually 6 small shrimps and a handful of rice for 23.00 euros, the Athens skewer was okay, but you could count the fries on your hand and then there was no shared meal due to the incorrect ordering. Not recommended for us! Food tasted okay, but not the highlight either, but the prices were!

Simply one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is always great. A restaurant that manages to prepare a steak exactly the way you want it, something that sometimes you can't even do in “steak houses”. Regarding the service: I can't find enough praise for it. Friendly is not the right word, because you feel very welcome. Also attentive and quick and all wishes are fulfilled. A smile that is honest and not job-related. Just always great.

On March 7th, 2025 we went to the Parthenon again with dear friends who had been there for several years. The food, the ambience and the service, like back then, were absolutely top. One of the best restaurants in our area and not forgetting the “new”, beautiful outdoor terrace. It’s firmly etched in “my restaurant hit list”, we’ll see each other more often now 👍

Our visit to this restaurant was entirely positive. The dishes were of excellent quality, freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The menu offers a diverse selection, so there is something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service. The staff was always courteous and made sure we felt completely comfortable. The cozy ambience invites you to linger and creates a pleasant atmosphere. We were here for New Year's dinner. Service very quick and friendly. The dishes, especially the meat, were all super tasty and juicy. Grilled, fried, whatever. Simply really delicious. There was a lot of garlic everywhere, but we enjoyed it. Ambiance very cozy.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Parthenon restaurant in Neunkirchen was a disappointment. The welcome and service left a very distant impression - the friendliness seemed artificial and almost condescending, as if you had the feeling that you were being tolerated rather than welcome. This clouded the entire atmosphere from the start. The menu was also not what you would typically expect from a Greek restaurant. You won't find classics like gyros, mixed platters or traditional side dishes like broad beans here. Instead, meat dishes dominate, which are more reminiscent of a steakhouse. The side salad also had a ready-made dressing and didn't seem to have been prepared with much care. In the end we decided on a grill skewer, which tasted solid but didn't offer anything special. The portions overall were rather manageable. What particularly irritated us: It is difficult to understand where the numerous positive reviews come from and why so many people seem to like coming back here. Unfortunately for us it wasn't a place we would visit again.

It's our first visit to this restaurant. It was totally worth it. If you are in Neunkirchen, go there for dinner. You won't be disappointed.

Good food, fair prices, nice service. One star is deducted because the food is somewhat adapted to the German palate. Greek classics like souflaki or mousakka would look good on the menu.

I was there with colleagues, we had reservations and the restaurant was well attended. I found it inconvenient that one waitress only took the drinks and you had to order the food from another. So it took quite a long time until we had drinks and food. I had the large appetizer platter, which was okay but nothing special. My colleagues had meat dishes and thought they were good. The interior of the place is very dark, traditional and I didn't find it really cozy or appealing.

Very very nice restaurant. Price performance is absolutely top. The service is quite ok. There are 1-2 employees who don't speak properly to customers and tend to give orders to customers. But there are also employees who are just really funny... respond to customers and engage with visitors with a pleasant conversation.

Price/performance is top. Meat is fried/grilled to perfection. Staff is consistently friendly. This Greek has been around for years/decades and we visit regularly. Always consistently good quality/service. Table reservations are recommended as it is always busy. Only in summer do you have the chance to get a table on the covered outdoor terrace without making a reservation. I hope that this restaurant stays with me for a long time. Keep it up!

Have been a guest in the restaurant many times. Food and service always very good. Guests are greeted personally and feel welcome and valued. Relatives who were once guests are asked. Particularly worthy of mention is the very friendly Keller, a host through and through. Always very happy. There is also a very nice outdoor area.

Casual Greek restaurant with ultra-friendly staff. The selection was somewhat ok, although some of the things I'm used to at Greek restaurants weren't on the menu (gigantes, stuffed grape leaves, liver...).

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Nice service.

Wir waren mit mehreren Freunden dort essen und das Erlebnis war durchwachsen. Gut gefallen hat allen die Terrasse, man sitzt gemütlich und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist sehr typisch und für Fleischliebhaber geeignet. Empfehlenswert sind die gegrillten Peperoni, wobei diese auch im Vergleich zur Menge schon etwas teuer sind. Die Beilagensalate waren sehr lecker und ausreichend in der Menge. Die Wartezeiten waren mir mit 1,5 h für die Hauptspeise zu lang für mein Empfinden, aber naja man hat ja gut und entspannt auf der Terrasse sitzen können. Als Hauptgericht gab es eine Platte mit verschiedenen Fleischsorten. Dort waren zwei sehr gut gegrillt (Medium) aber das Rind und Lammkotelett waren durchgebraten. Ich esse mein Fleisch am liebsten Medium-Rare, der Gargrad wurde aber vorher nicht abgefragt. Man konnte es essen aber saftig war es nicht mehr. Da die Preise allerdings auch in diesem Restaurant angezogen haben war ich etwas enttäuscht. Der reine Geschmack des Fleisches war dennoch gut, es hatte jedes Fleisch seinen eigenen „intensiven“ Geschmack . Leider gab es zum Fleisch kein Tzatziki und das Gemüse war offensichtlich TK . Bedauerlicherweise war der Reis aus, sodass wir auf Pommes zurückgreifen mussten, diese waren aber nicht sehr kross und hatten keinen Geschmack. Dabei gab es einen Wein, der hervorragend war, die Preise für die Getränke waren absolut im Rahmen. Da aber insgesamt das Essen dort etwas teurer ist als bei anderen Griechen kann ich in Relation dazu keine gute aber eine glatt befriedigende Bewertung vergeben.

The food was very tasty, but we are used to larger portions and the fact that the tzatziki is included in the dish. A man who is hungry cannot be full. The Athens skewer is a skewer on which different types of meat are skewered. We thought it was more meat, the fries weren't enough either.

Mit 6 Personen zum Abendessen dort. Das Lokal war ausgebucht und der Biergarten ebenfalls komplett voll. Trotzdem hat die Küche und der Service eine super Job geleistet, alles wurde zügig serviert. Zum Essen gibts nicht viel zu sagen, ich war wie immer sehr zufrieden. Diesmal den Paok Grillteller mit Rumpsteak, Lammfilet und Spieß, Pfefferrahmsoße, dazu Pommes und ein Beilagensalat.

For years there has been very good food, very friendly, attentive staff and a nice atmosphere here.

Dolmadakia with tzatziki were an absolute disgrace. The rolled grape leaves came as a finished product from the can, plus two tablespoons of tzatziki for €8.50. When you go to a restaurant you can't expect to be served any finished products, I don't even eat that at home. When you ask the waiter about it, all you hear is “I won’t say anything about that.”

Were there again yesterday for our wedding anniversary. As always, everything was great. The next generation has taken over and runs the restaurant with the same diligence as the previous generation. Keep it up. Above all, stay that way.
