First breakfast - everything fresh and delicious 😊 Rolls, croissants, pancakes (also vegan), fruit, vegetables, scrambled eggs, and plenty of cold cuts like sausage and cheese 😊.

The restaurant was already busy shortly before lunch. Even without a reservation, one of the very friendly waitresses offered me a nice seat. The food (pike-perch with rösti and vegetables) was excellent, and the recommended delicious Riesling went perfectly with it. Everything was perfect—I'll be back.

Today, we spontaneously stopped by Landsknecht for dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but we were lucky. Half an hour later, it was full. Very friendly staff, very tasty food. Good selection, lots of Saarland dishes. The food came very quickly and tasted very good. The portions were large, and we were very full. The prices were reasonable. We'll probably come back again.

The food was good. The portions were sufficient, but the plates were too small. My suggestion for larger plates was dismissed. A shame... I wouldn't recommend it.

They have a fully automatic coffee machine with all kinds of coffee, as often as you like. Delicious! Friendly, unobtrusive service! We'd be happy to come back. And not expensive, all for the unbeatable price of €13.90 per person. Go there and don't forget to make a reservation!

Zum Landsknecht – a long-established restaurant in a residential area. Very rustic decor, and since the new owners, the cuisine has been brought to life with a cool, home-style twist. The menu features schnitzel and steaks, and there's also (a highlight!!!) Saarland tapas. It's very good value for money. The food is regional and of high quality. We had three Saarland tapas and one steak from the daily special. Very friendly staff and excellent food! We'd be happy to go back. We definitely want to try the breakfast.

Just spent a fantastic evening with you! The Saarland tapas are a great idea – small, cleverly prepared portions with a typical Saarland flair. Perfect for trying different flavors! The sauerkraut doughnuts with Maggi herb pesto and the pork cheeks with fried potato salad were particularly delicious – simply delicious! The service was super friendly and gave us excellent advice. The atmosphere is cozy, just right for a relaxed evening with friends. A definite recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Saarland cuisine in a different way!

A very friendly welcome, delicious and, above all, fresh food, and great service. Everything you need is there (and a little more 😉), and if something runs out at the buffet, it's immediately refilled. Very attentive. We'll definitely be back!

We went there for the first time today, Friday. We had booked a table and when we arrived we stood there for a few minutes until the waitress showed us our table. She was a bit annoyed. Well then we thought maybe we were under stress. I ordered fish with potato salad. The potatoes were different sizes so they weren't cooked yet. When I complained, she said that's how we get them from the farmer... What that has to do with the degree of doneness is new to me. When my daughter wanted to say something about it, she replied in a cheeky tone, "Let me finish." That is out of place as a waitress. Oh and my criticism of the potato salad was ignored. It's a shame - we wanted to come more often but unfortunately the restaurant doesn't feel it is necessary to satisfy a customer. That wouldn't have happened at Herr Stolz's in the past. With that in mind.

We've only been here for the breakfast buffet. A very cozy, rustic restaurant with very friendly and courteous staff. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. There are rolls, croissants, many types of sausage and cheese, muesli, fruit, etc. The absolute highlight, however, is the price performance. The breakfast buffet costs 13.90 p.p. INCLUDING coffee specialties from the fully automatic machine. We'll definitely be back. Next, the Saarland tapas will be tested. The ambience only gets 4 stars because the restaurant is quite “old-fashioned” and therefore seems quite dark. But that's more personal taste than real criticism. Definitely an absolute recommendation from me

Today we were there with 6 people for the breakfast buffet. Everything was very neat and comfortable. Large selection and it was always replenished. Sausage/cheese platter, sweet spreads, scrambled eggs, pancakes with topping, croissants, fruit, muesli, yoghurts and delicious rolls. Mixed coffee drinks are also included. We'll be back :-)
