Breakfast buffet, pretty much everything you need, what should be particularly mentioned is that ALL coffee specialties in the buffet are free, which is just coffee everywhere else. The staff is really super friendly, you feel comfortable and the price is right too.

The staff is super friendly, the price for the breakfast buffet is absolutely right. All coffee specialties are included in the buffet price. The buffet actually has everything you need, but I miss a little bit, for example. B. raw peppers, cucumbers and similar things that go with a sandwich for me.

The breakfast at “Zum Landsknecht” was absolutely fantastic! A lovingly prepared selection of fresh rolls, regional specialties, aromatic coffee and very tasty jams - here you can tell that the cooking is done with heart. I was particularly impressed by the warm dishes such as scrambled eggs and bacon, which were prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. If you're in the area, you definitely shouldn't miss this breakfast!

Beautiful, rustic atmosphere, you immediately feel very comfortable. The waiter was extremely friendly and the food was simply great. We were so full after the starter and main course that unfortunately we couldn't fit any more dessert. But we will come back and try a dessert too ;-)

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet for the second time today. The buffet offers everything that makes a good, delicious buffet. By the way, I love being pleasantly surprised by the gastronomy, and that happened today with the "vegan pancakes" with a light banana flavor, which were a hit. They looked so good and tasted even better. “The better way to try is to study”. My companion, a vegan, was here for the second time and loved it. The offer for vegans can still be expanded. The location is a former restaurant, but super cozy. We'd love to come back.

The new owners are bringing new life to the old Landsknecht restaurant. Delicious, traditional dishes, as well as newly interpreted (Saarland) dishes, are incredibly delicious here. The Saarland tapas are my favorite!

The food is super tasty, despite previously announced possible longer waiting times, the food came to the table quickly and hot. The staff is super friendly and attentive and if you like small, local and warm restaurants, Landsknecht is a must.

A quaint, homey inn where you'll feel at home. We spontaneously returned for lunch after a long absence (now under new ownership) and were pleasantly surprised. We had beef and sausage salad with fried potatoes. We were also able to help ourselves to the salad buffet. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. Excellent service, very nice, friendly, and courteous staff. A restaurant with regulars—which speaks for itself! We'd be happy to return anytime. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work ;-)

There is a great selection of rolls, croissanta, cold cuts, jams, fruit, tomato mozzarella, scrambled eggs, sausages and fried Lyone, cereals, yogurt My highlight were the pancakes with the sauces and toppings! You can get as much coffee as you want from the fully automatic machine Service and owner very friendly and accommodating! Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. Rustic-modern. Everything very clean! Hello to the friendly team We tested... breakfast and tapas in the evening. It was just super good... breakfast buffet a little bit of everything... sausage, cheese, muesli, cornflakes, fruit, wholemeal rolls, mini croissants, pancakes... if you're not enthusiastic about that, I can't help you... tapas Evening also great... my tip for 2-3 people... Take 2 tapas starters, 2-3 tapas main courses... and share/swap... great... I'm completely thrilled

The ambience is rustic, as is the case with an inn. It's best to make a reservation because there aren't many tables. We were warmly welcomed. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The buffet left nothing to be desired, from various coffee specialties (up to the limit) to savory/sweet selections and muesli/quark variations. The price-performance ratio is great. You can have a leisurely breakfast as it should be. We'll be back :)

The restaurant reopened yesterday on December 13th, 2024 and I was there today as a tester for the breakfast buffet. Nothing was missing, great selection. Coffee specialties included for a reasonable price. Unfortunately I don't live in the area, but if I'm in NK again I'd love to come back.

We stood at the door hungry and had to read that the restaurant was closed. (It wasn't a day off) There was nothing about this on the internet, very annoying and disappointing

We had ordered a table for seven people and got a table that only had room for six. We ordered steaks, after a few minutes we were told that the steaks had run out. But when we ordered a table we specifically asked if we had to pre-order steaks. What we then ate tasted really good. It was still totally disappointing that you ordered and were the first guests who pre-ordered and didn't get any steaks.

Only schnitzel or steak on offer and a long waiting time.

We ate in the restaurant on Friday. The service was super friendly and really attentive. We had the steak, it was cooked to perfection, the starter salad was absolutely delicious and there is also a daily menu. We will definitely come back.

You have to like the rustic atmosphere. There is nothing wrong with the food and the hospitality. The portions are generous and even good eaters will be full. A home service is offered for guests who live not far from the restaurant.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und gut. Ambiente nicht ganz so mein Geschmack, weiße Tischdecken auf den Speisetischen wäre empfehlenswert. Das soll keine Kritik sein, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gemütlich und entspannt mit Top Essen. Wir waren in der Mittagspause essen. Wir hatten es zum Glück nicht ganz so eilig. Neben was zum Trinken aufs Haus und einer sehr netten Bedienung stimmte auch der Preis. Wir kommen wieder!

Nach Pächterwechsel. Wir sind im Saarland, wie Bier schmeckt kennen Wir. Das Essen ist reichhaltig und gut und jederzeit wieder ein Besuch wert.

Heute nach Jahren und nach Besitzerwechsel im Restaurant gewesen. Ich muss sagen ganz ordentlich. Wer es gut bürgerlich mag findet dort was. Macht weiter so.
