A great location, great service, perfect food. Danger of repetition.

The range of food in the beer garden is very manageable. Schnitzel from the deep fryer.

I was invited to a wedding there on July 20, 2024 and what I saw was absolute impudence and something anti-social. Not only was the service a disaster, drinks that were offered according to the list were supposedly empty and didn't exist either. The man behind the counter who was responsible for distributing the drinks had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He also sometimes ignored the people who ordered drinks at the bar and we won't talk about his mood at first. But what was absolutely amazing was that a waitress from a wedding next door came over to us (she had bleached hair) and started making fun of the bride who was at our party and with us you have to be careful, they don't give tips, they are assistants. Afterwards, when the bride asked what her problem was, she was also insulted and jostled. So I ask myself what and why does a waitress from another wedding have to come to our place and put the bride and groom down and insult them?! I knew it couldn't be our waitress because we had black clothes on and gray on the other side. So all in all, the only thing that was positive about this location was the food, otherwise it was absolutely anti-social and unprofessional. When I asked the bride and groom whether the owners or someone had commented on it, they said: We haven't received an answer to date and have received no apology whatsoever, even though they have been informed of it. So I think it's a disgrace that so much money was paid and you have to put up with something like that and you don't even get an answer. Just collect money and don't hand it over. Just a joke. I also advised everyone away from this location who asked me what it was like there.

We celebrated our wedding at Grunder's Hofgut Menschhaus and decided on a forest and meadow wedding. The location was very nice, the service on the day of the event was top. We decided on an outdoor wedding ceremony. In the preliminary conversation we explicitly said that if the weather was bad, we wanted to have the wedding ceremony take place in the big tent. On the day of the event, however, a special tent was set up and everything inside was beautifully decorated. 2 days later we were charged additionally for this tent. If we asked the accounting department, someone would contact us again about this matter. We are still waiting for the response today and so unfortunately we had no choice but to pay the amount. An event ending by 3 a.m. was booked and paid for in advance. Shortly after 2 a.m., however, the last guests were asked to leave because the service staff wanted to finish work. All in all nice location. Good service. We don't think it's fair to charge someone for something that was explicitly denied, especially when they ended earlier than booked.

Very nice location! It was an outdoor wedding, then it went into a tent. Parking directly in front of the tent, good service and overall recommended. I can't report anything about prices, I was just a guest.

Was a guest at a wedding in the tent that belongs to the farm, so I can only report from there. At the same time there were other weddings taking place on the site, but they only celebrated here, were married somewhere else and then led onto the site with loud honking, where the wedding officiant was desperately trying to stop the honking. You could have communicated better. The cold starter buffet was sitting around uncooled at more than 30°C, with fish, chicken and the like right next to each other, which then immediately reached room temperature. The food itself was ok, it was advertised as "just not the classic schnitzel" but everything was still served from huge pots and everything was one color. It has to be said that of course the bride and groom ordered, but based on Grunder's suggestions. All I can say about the tent is that some of the decorations were broken when we arrived. As soon as the coffee machine or dishwasher turned on, the lamps began to flicker, the wooden walls could use some sanding and painting, and there were better ventilation options than "we could take out the walls", because that just made it draught. At exactly 3 a.m. the lights came on and you were asked out. That was the agreement, but you could also do it more gently. All in all, bridal couples pay a lot of money for a lot of little annoyances. It was a nice evening, but a lot of negative impressions remain.

Highly recommended for the grill buffet, very satisfied, everything was great, would be happy again. !

In the summer of this year, as Conni's bride, I was able to accompany one of the most beautiful wedding ceremonies in a long time as a speaker. The first contact by phone with the Grunder's Hofgut Menschhaus to briefly introduce ourselves and discuss important things went so well and allowed a service provider like me to completely relax. Which is absolutely not a given these days. Once we got there that day, things went smoothly. A wonderful, warm welcome from the employees, even though they were still in the final preparations for the decorations, was as pleasant as the walk together to the wedding venue on the field. A power line was laid there so that I could set up all my own technical equipment. The view and the presentation of the free wedding ceremony took my breath away and immediately conjured up a feeling of well-being in the hearts of the bride and groom and their guests. After the free wedding ceremony was over, the entire staff stood ready like little weasels to provide people with extremely delicious drinks and finger foods. Just great! Unfortunately it wasn't the dream wedding we were hoping for! Unfortunately, both on the day of the wedding and during the planning, there was only chaos. When we had already signed the contract and paid for the wedding, a lady didn't even know who we were at the first planning meeting that was arranged with her and she wanted to show us all the rooms. When we signed the contract, we had already decided on beef fillet in the menu, for example, and a few months later we were told we had to pay an extra charge or choose something else. (the surcharge was not just 1-2 euros per dish) As far as I know, contracts are concluded so that both sides secure the price, but that's good... (the deposit had already been paid long ago at that point) Some decorations were still missing when all the guests were at the table and were then delivered later. The maid of honor and the service provider were treated very unfriendly, the wrong food was served (sometimes too little and cold), the decoration in the hall was careless and not enough. Guests even pointed out an unpleasant smell in the tent. In general, no one can be reached by phone (only partially by email), except when it comes to paying the bill, Mr. Grunder even calls personally. Our invoice for the remaining payment was incorrect 3 times, which we pointed out several times. There was no response until we received several calls and emails from Mr. Grunder the day before the wedding that we still had to pay the remaining amount today, with photo proof of the transfer. (One day before the wedding you definitely have other worries and to-dos) This criticism was not addressed or everything was dismissed. A small concession or even just an apology would have been appropriate. Even our guests were shocked at the value for money and would not come back. I have advised all my friends who are still getting married against Grunders!

We celebrated our wedding in the event tent at Grunder's in July last year and were very surprised at how chaotic and uncoordinated everything was. Unfortunately, these expectations have not been confirmed, especially given that Grunder is known as a reliable and established provider in Saarland. Apparently people are sitting back and relying only on the “name”. We summarized some points as feedback and passed them on to Grunder after the wedding - unfortunately, they have simply ignored them and not even responded to our emails etc. They don't answer calls there anyway or maybe the phones are permanently broken - who knows. We had to experience this several times during the coordination in the run-up to the wedding and afterwards. 1.) We received the wrong finger food. We had discussed our selection several times, including in a preliminary discussion with one of her organizational colleagues (45-50, slim, dark hair) on site and this was also recorded in writing by this colleague. Unfortunately, only 2 plates of tomato mozzarella and mini schnitzel were served at our wedding. Even the service staff was surprised that the amount was far too small for the number of 57 guests. In addition, the selection was simply wrong and our guests, some of whom were vegan, couldn't eat any of it. No comment was made on this, no apology was given, nor was our finger food added to the later starter menu. 2.) The maid of honor and videographer were treated very unkindly when they checked on everything just before the wedding began and very politely pointed out the missing acrylic signs and other missing decorations on site. 3.) Several guests were told that there were no long drinks. When we pointed out to the service staff that this was indeed included in our drinks package, the previously incorrect menu cards were replaced by the service staff within a few minutes without comment. 4.) After we spent about 30-45 minutes looking all over the area for the rest of our food the next morning, all that was left was cheese, some pasta salad and dessert. The leftover appetizer we paid for was obviously thrown away or no one knew where to find it. 5.) Many glasses were dirty when served and the cutlery was neither polished nor consistently clean. Staff were made aware of this. Unfortunately no reaction. 6.) A guest had a broken piece of glass in the creme brule. This was also not addressed or apologized for. I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that you're taking on a bit of pressure on your part and not being able to handle 3 wedding celebrations at the same time, but that didn't stop Mr. Grunder from putting us under real pressure the day before our wedding Complete payment for our wedding is concerned. The performance was in no way proportional to the price. It was simply chaotic, demonstrably flawed and dissatisfying. Please keep in mind that this was one of the most important (and expensive) days for us as a wedding couple. However, thanks to you, Ms. and Mr. Grunder, this day was overshadowed by questions, ambiguities and, as described, incorrect/poor performance. We are still waiting for an apology or reaction of any kind. We clearly cannot recommend you as a wedding organizer. We keep our fingers crossed for all other wedding couples for the future.

I would even give 0 stars if I could. At the end of January we visited the Hofgut Menschhaus for a tour. The location was also quite good and we agreed on a date. Afterwards we were sent the catalog in which we could choose the food. Since then there has been radio silence. I tried to reach Ms. Grunder for over 5 weeks. She neither responds to emails nor can she be reached by phone. When I call the office I am told that only Ms. Grunder will take care of it and that a message will be left for her. This was also ignored several times. In the meantime she was on vacation for 2 weeks, so I don't expect her to work, but ignoring someone so consistently is no way.

We were there for the winter buffet on November 9th, 2023. The food was very good. The staff was very accommodating and super nice. We spent a great evening there. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren heute zum Winterbuffet hier. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker. Das Ambiente toll. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen und gut gelaunten Servicekräfte. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir haben am 11.08.2023 unsere Freie Trauung im Hofgut Menschenhaus gefeiert. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und hatten eine tolle Feier. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr schöne Ambiente und die wunderschöne Deko. Frau Grunder und ihr Team haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben unsere Wünsche umzusetzen. Auch die Begleitung den ganzen Tag über war sehr gut und das Personal hat sich um alles sehr gut gekümmert. Wir würden eine Feier im Hofgut Menschenhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten dort unsere Betriebsversammlung inkl. Mittagessen. Das Essenwar sehr gut. Die Lage ist einfach nur toll!

Tolle Location, nettes Personal und sehr leckeres Essen!

Ich war für eine Hochzeitsfeier vor Ort und sehr angetan. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, das Essen fand ich hervorragend, der Service sehr freundlich, allerdings etwas ungeschickt und langsam - deshalb ein Stern weniger. Direkt vor den Gebäuden ein wirklich großer Parkplatz für Gäste. Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt und würde es jederzeit empfehlen.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit beim grunder gefeiert. Es war einfach mega schön, die Deko, das Essen und der SERVICE!!! Wir sind noch nie so gut bewirtet worden. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Es war einfach unglaublich wie professionell das ganze aufgebaut war. Wie lieb einfach alle waren. Toll!!! Danke euch allen!

Gemischte Gefühle. Das Ambiente bekommt volle 5 Sterne. Das Essen vom Sommer Barbecue war leider Recht durchwachsen. Alles sehr sehr einfach gehalten und teilweise schlecht abgeschmeckt. Die Salate schmeckten nach garnix. Die restlichen anti pasti Vorspeisen könnte ich gefühlt auch so im Supermarkt kaufen. Das Fleisch war relativ trocken. Das arme Steak starb gefühlt ein zweites Mal auf dem Grill. Ansicht ein schöner Abend in tollem Ambiente aber das Essen reißt einen nicht vom Hocker. Da die Getränke beim Preis inkl waren, gibts 3 Sterne. Bis auf die Sangria, oder was das auch immer hatte sein sollen.Grauenvoll.

Wir haben in der wunderschönen Orangerie des Hofgut Menschenhaus unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Der Service war herausragend gut, das Essen war super, die Deko und das Ambiente top. Es war alles ganz genau so, wie wir es uns gewünscht und vorgestellt haben- eine wunderschöne Hochzeitslocation.

Wir sitzen im Waldgarten und freuen uns am Sonntag. Schönes Ambiente, kaltes Keller Bier. Sehr netter Service. Und der Hirtenbraten mit einem Glas Wein hat auch gepasst.

Noch etwas verkatert schreibe ich diese Rezension. Wir hatten gestern die Feier unserer Hochzeit bei Grunder's in der Orangerie. Sowohl meine Frau, ich und auch jeder unserer Gäste waren ausnahmslos begeistert von der Fürsorge, der Bewirtung und auch der tollen Location. Wir alle hatten eine fantastische Zeit und möchten uns beim Grunder's Team recht herzlich bedanken. Ich bin selber Gastronom und wenn ich sage, das Büffet und die Bewirtung unserer Gäste waren ganz großes Kino und spielen im Saarland in der vorderen Liga mit, weiß ich wovon ich rede. Danke, weiter so! Top-Empfehlung von uns!

Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier, weil einfach alles passt. Selbst die Chefin nimmt sich immer Zeit für ihre Gäste und das Personal ist top.

Der Waldgarten ist so wundervoll. Dazu einfach leckeres Essen. Selten oder noch nie einen so guten Burger gehabt.

Wir waren gestern zum Valentinsmenü bei Grunder. Die wunderschöne stilvolle Location hat 100 % unseren Geschmack getroffen. Alle Speisen waren sehr schmackhaft und auch die Prästentation derer ein "Augenschmaus". "leichte" Livemusik als Hintergrund Untermalung war das Tüpfelchen auf dem I Eine gelungene Veranstaltung, wir kommen wieder ❤

Nach Corona neue Mitarbeiter, Essen war nicht bekömmlich. Auf den Kaffee oder andere Kaffeespezialitäten musste man sehr lange warten.🙈

Schade, dass es derzeit keinen Restaurantbetrieb gibt, war hier immer gerne zum Essen

Wir waren zu viert dort. Schon beim Einfahren auf den Parkplatz konnten wir die üppige und wunderschöne Deko bestaunen. Dann ging auch schon zum Empfang mit Glühwein. Einige offene Feuerstellen sorgten nicht nur für Wärme, sondern auch für eine weihnachtliche Atmosphäre. Dann ging es weiter. Wir betraten einen überaus prachtvoll dekorierten Speisesaal mit vielen runden Tischen. Dann gings ans Büfett. Köstlichkeiten, soweit das Auge reicht und was mich als Vegetarier besonders gefreut hat, die vegetarische Auswahl war mehr als üppig. Wir konnten soviel essen wie wir wollten und ich habe es auch noch bis zum Nachtisch geschafft. Von dem leckeren Käsebüffet konnte ich nichts mehr probieren, weil ich soooo satt war. Die Getränke waren auch inklusive. Und nicht zu vergessen die netten Jungs, die den ganzen Abend um unser leibliches Wohl besorgt waren und darum auch ein schönes Bakschisch von uns bekommen haben. Fazit: 39 € Komplettpreis pro Person war wirklich sehr wenig für dieses tolle Essen.

Sehr gemütliches und sehr festliche Räumlichkeiten Ideal für Hochzeiten usw Essen war sehr fein und das Personal war sehr höflich und um das Wohl der Gäste Top 1a

Schönes Ambiente tolles Lokation

Eine schöne Location eigentlich. Die Außenanlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sei es durch corona oder mangelndes Auge für die Instandhaltung.

Die Location ist sehr schön. Das Fleisch in den warmen Speisen war leider sehr trocken.
