Restaurant Panorama und Bastei in Ulm

Our visit to the Panorama Restaurant in the Maritim Hotel Ulm was a complete success. The food was simply fantastic – fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. Add to that the impressive view over the city, which makes the whole experience even more special. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You really feel welcome here. In addition, everything was clean and well-kept, which perfectly rounds off the stylish ambience. What was particularly nice was that we even got a nightcap on the house at the end – a really nice gesture! A great evening in a wonderful restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

We were thrilled. The tartare (which is how I personally measure upscale restaurants) was extremely tasty. But the other courses and starters were also great. Highly recommended. Great service staff, great view, very pleasant atmosphere. Price-performance was completely right here. Absolutely recommended.

Ristorante in Bastei, dove, dopo aver visitato il parco, ci si può recare per rifocillarsi. E' situato in cima ad una collina dalla quale si gode un'ottimo panorama sull'Elba sottostante. Il menù è ben fornito, meglio della carta dei vini, un po' deficitaria; servizio cortese, qualità dei piatti discreta, tempi d'attesa giusti. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è forse un po' esagerato ma il locale si salva per la posizione

Wow. Great view, great restaurant

This restaurant offers the best view of Ulm. We had dinner here and the view was spectacular as the sun was setting. The food was perfectly cooked, the service was friendly and the decor is simple yet elegant. I was impressed with the pricing, I would have expected this location to be more than it was.

The worst service I ever experienced ! We were 5 people, we ordered 5 main courses (quite expensive ...) and the waitress brought dishes for only 2 persons out of 5 ... she forgot to order the 3 missing menus ... and we had to ask for them ! no apologies and not even a small offer to compensate ! First and last time in this non professional restaurant !!!

Views were amazing. and the food backed it up. If you are ever in Ulm, dine here at sunset into evening.

We were a bit disappointed with an “Elegant Panorama Café” in Ulm. As people from Ulm, we wanted to treat ourselves to something: a coffee on the 16th floor with a view of the cathedral. Well, we had the view... but... a chair at the table had ugly stains, the rose in the vase was withered, there was a piece of metal on a piece of cake, of course we said it after we asked, Whether everything was okay..., the cappuccino was very strong, all in all there were some negative points that made us not go there anymore... To be honest, I had imagined something different, from an elegant house like this Maritime... the disappointment was all the greater. And it's no use if you're handed a discreet piece of paper with the bill on which you want to say something... that you don't like. The only bright spot there were the two nice young waitresses, who really can't help things like that. They were very polite and accommodating...

Nice decor, food ok but nothing exceptional.

I expected more... It was okay but there are great restaurants in Ulm.

Mangiando potendo guardare Ulm dall'alto con il suo Danubio scorrere lento è una sensazione rilassante. Il ristorante si trova al 16^.piano del Maritim Hotel di Ulm. Il ristorante è elegante, tutto vetrato, con vista verso il fiume che divide dalla Bavaria e dall'altro lato verso il centro della città, con la sua cattedrale che si erge fiera. Cena a lune di candela, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Servizio abbastanza veloce e comunque in linea con il genere di ristorante. Il menu è vario e con abbinamenti originali. Sono previsti anche piatti vegetariani e vegani. Il menu è sia di pesce che di carne e gli abbinamenti proposti sono particolari e originali. Buonissima la crema di asparagi con latte di cocco (versione vegana), ma anche i secondi sono da provare. I prezzi sono medio-alti, ma la qualità del cibo e la location li giustificano. Mi permetto un suggerimento, visto il livello del locale: a fine pasto un piccolo "finger-dessert" o uno shottino di sorbetto sarebbe un gesto elegante. Se siete a Ulm, provate una cena con vista (orario consigliato d'estate:dopo le 20:30, quando il sole comincia a calare.

Alleine die Aussicht ist traumhaft, 16. Stock mit grandioser Aussicht auf Ulm und in die Ferne. Sonnenuntergang inklusive. Service und Essen lassen keine Wünsche übrig.

Dieses Restaurant besticht mit einer phantastischen Aussicht über Ulm. In einem wunderschönen Ambiente servieren freundliche und gut ausgebildete Kellner gute Mittelklasse bei Speisen und Getränken. Wir hatten 3 Gänge, wobei das Filetsteak als Hauptgang besonders hervorzuheben war. Erstklassige Fleischqualität, perfekt zubereitet. Dazu tranken wir einen, vom gut Bescheid wissenden Sommelier empfohlenen deutschen Spätburgunder, der zu einem fairen Preis von rund 70,- Euro angeboten wurde. Für einen romantischen Abend zu zweit oder auch mit Freunden sehr empfehlenswertes Mittelklasse-Restaurant. Einzig bei der Weinauswahl, insbesondere bei Rotwein, würden wir uns ein Aufpeppen der Karte durch Hinzunahme internationaler Mittelklasse-Weine wünschen. Leider fehlte auch ein Dessert-Wein; aber daran kann man ja relativ einfach arbeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nachmittags leckere Kuchen, abends sehr leckeres Essen. Tolle Location über den Dächern von Ulm zu fairen Preisen

Ein wirklich stilvolles Ambiente mit einem wirklich einzigartigen Ausblick über Ulm. Da kann es schon mal passieren, dass das wirklich gute Essen in den Hintergrund rückt.

Lieblingsrestaurant!!! Einfach nur atemberaubend schön. Komplettes Panorama von Ulm mit Blick auf das Münster. Abends sieht man sogar den Sonnenuntergang von dort. Das essen ist einfach Tip Top. Der Kellner kennt sein Handwerk und ist sehr charmant und aufmerksam! Top!

War schon mal dort und war echt lecker. Dachte fahre mit meiner Freundin zum Essen hin. Hatte extra im Internet wegen den Öffnungszeiten nachgeschaut. Dort stand nichts von einer geschlossenen Gesellschaft. Somit sind wir den weiten Weg umsonst gefahren. Echt ärgerlich.

Eines der besten Restaurant in denen ich je gegessen habe. Sehr gute Küche!

Exklusive und leckere Küche (Hauptgang ca. 30 EUR) , sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, tolle Aussicht. Es lohnt sich auf Feder Fall. Reservieren sollte man aber zeitig, sonst hat man wenig von der Aussicht.

Der Blick, die Küche, das Personal...besser geht's kaum. Dass das alles nicht ganz billig ist...well, Exclusivität hat eben ihren Preis, und es wäre ja auch schade, wenn der Besuch dieses wirklich außergewöhnlichen Restaurants zum schnöden Alltag würde...

Soweit so gut, Freundliches und Organisiertes Personal, sauberes Zimmer, leichter Rauch Geruch im "nicht Raucher Zimmer".
