Excellent service and delicious food at the Sheraton My daughter and I had to stay at the Sheraton due to a flight and decided to have lunch at the hotel after a four hour journey. The Otto restaurant, located directly in the hotel, didn't offer a large selection, but it was just right for us. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service and the special attention given to children. There was a menu with a comic for my daughter to color in and she could choose one of the menus herself. The selection of child-friendly desserts was also clear but very tasty. We would like to thank you very much for the excellent service and the excellent food. We look forward to coming back for dinner and breakfast.

5 Stars are not enough for this restaurant. I have enjoyed this restaurant 3 times for dinner and each time has been fantastic. Food quality, service, attention to detail and flavors. Had the Veal schnitzel twice and an out of the menu selection presented by the Chef and coordination by the very experienced (20+ years on site) server. The beer is cold, wet and fresh, beautiful head and on-point each time, 5+ stars. The service is 10+ Stars. You won’t find a mire professional, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful server. A true joy to converse and provide recommendations to accommodate food sensitivities or allergies, cravings and pairings. The food was straight from grill to table each time 10+ Stars. The flavor was on point for all the selections and showed the careful preparation, 5+ stars. The view by the window is nothing special but it is interesting and one can enjoy the view over the horizon and the roads leading to the airport. 5+ stars. The server makes this restaurant an awesome experience worth returning. If only more restaurants had folks like him, that truly aim at providing an unforgettable experience. This is not gourmet fancy food, it is just typical food prepared in a professional way that is memorable, tastefully presented and exploding with the proper taste, temperature and texture. I hope to be back for business and if so, I plan to come back for dinner Again-and-Again. Don’t confuse this restaurant with Hotel food or Airport food. It is the total opposite.

I have visited this restaurant probably a dozen times, and I am always surprised by the quality of the food, considering it is an airport hotel/restaurant. Not only the food is way above average, but all of the waiting staff members I came across over the years are very nice and pleasant in their interactions with costumers. I should even give the staff 5 stars.

Nice and polite staff. Very nice view of the Autobahn and the greenery. A limited menue. We wanted to order Pappardelle but they said that they were out of it and they suggested spaghetti instead. The food was OK. It was aromatic with delicious pesto but it was too oily and bland. I had to add extra salt to it. A nice atmosphere though.

The restaurant is stuffy and feels dated even though you can tell that the interior is not old. The food was not bad, but it was not good either. It failed to leave any impression, it just felt bland

Quiet restaurant with a great view. The restaurant features a panoramic window to watch the comings and goings at Dusseldorf airport and is quiet and quite nice inside. The green pea soup is fantastic. There is a menu devoted to asparagus which I will try next time I'm staying at the Sheraton there. Service was excellent.

Goed eten en bediening was ook prima. Het restaurant is onderdeel van het Sheraton hotel maar ook als je niet in hotel verblijft kan je er eten. Het restaurant heeft een uitzicht maar niet om over naar huis te schrijven: autowegen en parkeerplaatsen rond het vliegveld.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service ist auch sehr gut.

Habe heute ein super Rinderfilet gegessen , der Service war spitze, Getränke alle wie es sein sollte:-) So beginnt der Urlaub doch super! Danke schön an das Otto Team!

Da geht es rund. Zum Mittagessen eine recht übersichtlich Auswahl auf der Karte. Aber ein sehr netter Empfang und Service. Das Essen war frisch und nett auf einem warmen Teller angerichtet. Alles sehr nett.

Top die Außenterrasse, sehr ruhig. Personal ist OK, aber das war es auch schon. Einen ticken mehr Freundlichkeit und ein Lächeln, kann nicht schaden Essen: Burger OK.

I just finished eating at this restaurant. The restaurant is situated in the Sheraton hotel right next to Düsseldorf Airport. No need to book a table and was shown quickly to a table overlooking the view outside. I was initially served by the lady with the ginger hair who was quite simply amazing. She was a lovely lady with a lovely sense of humour. I ordered the carrot soup followed by the wiener schnitzel and both were absolutely delicious. The service was very nice, the atmosphere was also very nice and the meal was delicious. Very reasonably priced at €40 for both including drinks. I would definitely recommend and will definitely go again.

I was staying at the hotel for an early flight next day. Due to the location of the hotel eating options are limited so Otto is your only real choice. Located on the top floor of the airport carpark and on the outer side of the building, the restaurant has panoramic views of the airport and beyond. The staff were attentive and courteous. I couldn't fault them. Considering this is Germany, I was surprised at the limited choice of beer, opting for mainstream brands rather than more local brews. As for the food, very enjoyable. opted for a "carpaccio style" starter with pork, mushrooms, potato, salad and cheese. Portion size was good. Main course - wiener schnitzel. Again good portion size and very tasty. Couldn't manage a dessert. For what I had it was pricy but this was to be expected considering the location and lack of choice for eating options. I would eat there again if staying at the hotel.

Staying at Dusseldorf Sheraton at the airport kind of narrows down the options for dining but they have the restaurant Otto - so here are the thoughts: - I've been dining here 2 years ago back in Feb 2020 - now 2 years and a pandemic later here I am again - location did not change at all - you have the view of the surroundings of Dusseldorf airport right outside the window. With a very good seating capacity overall. - menu - loaded with options that can suit your choices - nothing to complain on that - I went for the carpaccio as a starter - excellent taste and the slightly fried mushrooms on top - just brilliant when it comes down to taste. As a main dish I went for the sea bass - nicely done - still moist , with root vegetables ... nothing to complain ... maybe just the 2-3 bones - but hey it's fish, is born with bones ... nothing more to add on the matter, just nicely done sea bass, mildly spiced, really nothing to complain about. In terms of drinks - a beer did the trick - but there are other options on the menu too. Some really good options. Service very good, nothing to complain, very good waiter work. Prices - decent - very good price to quality ratio - I would say mid range. However you look at it is a very good restaurant still, nothing to really complain about. I recommend you try it if you can.

Restaurant is onderdeel van het Sheraton hotel op de luchthaven. Zoals alle restaurants is Herbert duurder dan normaal. Lekker gegeten, schnitzel, echter niet spectaculair. Goede frietjes erbij en uiteraard met mayonaise! Goede rode wijn! Uitzicht op de luchthaven heb ik niet gezien, wel een mooi uitzicht over de omgeving.

On the road again and I was looking for dinner - so since I stayed at the Sheraton the restaurant in the hotel sounded like a good option. Here are the findings: location - at Dusseldorf airport - at the Sheraton hotel , you will find this restaurant. Good seating capacity and a nice view from the window. Overall a nice atmosphere it was not crowded. service - waiter did a great job, we was always on spot but never bothering, still he was available when need. Waiter work to be thought in schools that's for sure. food - good selection of dishes - mainly German/Austrian type of cuisine - still some international dishes - like pasta - you can find on the menu. Went for a salmon salad at starter - very good choice, loved the avocado-mango combination with the smoked salmon. The pumpkin soup unexpected , creamy and very tasty, I was missing a hing of chili but beside this again a good choice. And the main course a classic - Surf and Turf with a twist, beef fillet and shrimps , I can eat this any-day/everyday. Beef was nice and tender - lovely quality meat and the king prawns in the shell just enhanced the dish... the asparagus , well I have to say managed 25% of it, it was cooked very good but it is simply not my vegetable. Overall a nicely balanced very good dish, not over spiced and very enjoyable - I do recommend you try it. Good selection of beverages, alcoholic or not and if you like wine they got a good selection. Prices - mid range - but very good price to quality ratio. Overall a good experience - very good food - if you are in the area I recommend you try it.

Great dinner better than expected. Colleague and I arrived late in the evening whilst staying at the airports hotel. Staff were very courteous and we had an excellent soup as a starter and great main courses. Thoroughly recommended.

Poor Service & No change. Unfortunately service is inattentive and no change for 100 euro bill with reply that there is a total of 60 euro in the register. Had the grilled salmon, service is slow and food is greasier than I would've liked. Would not choose to come back for dinner even if I'm staying overnight at DUS Airport Sheraton- better off walking to Maratim Hotel for dinner! After some fair complaint they reluctantly offered to ask for cash from the front desk with a patronizing tone and great hesistance, as if I was the one in the wrong! As a customer I don't feel welcome and feel deeply offended by the attitude of the waiter who served me at this establishment, I don't have the words to explain how I'm feeling right now but it has been a long time since I finished a dinner with such disdain. Definitely not what I need after 12 hours on a plane.

Otto is located in the Sheraton Airport Hotel at DUS and is therefore a good choice after a long day of meetings or trade shows. The menu is not extensive, but offers a good range of German influenced food. I was dining on my own and my server was very attentive and friendly, but also gave me my space, which was appreciated. Food quality was quite good and prices quite reasonable.

This is nicely located in the Sheraton but open to the airport should you want a nicer bite. Food is not bad, diner is better than lunch, service though can be mediocre. The lunch buffet is less appetizing than the main evening menu which is quite substantial.

I have eaten here for both breakfasts and dinners, and both were excellent. This is one of the better hotel restaurants I have been to. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities are very clean and well organized.

I was delighted to have some excellent food at a hotel restaurant situated at the airport. The salmon was fresh and wonderfully prepared. Service was friendly and prompt. Breakfast was also good.

Everything is fresh and from a very high quality and especially the espresso and coffee is good. I also like their english breakfast where Otto serves a very crispy bacon and tasty sausages. I look forward to having my breakfast here every time.
