Very pretty rooms with a sophisticated ambiance in the city's finest hotel.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't a highlight. We had the vegetarian and the mushroom dishes.

The service was once again top-notch ❤️

We went on Tuesday, November 11th. We had duck for dinner, and it was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly.

Lunch was really tasty, but it could have been served a bit warmer. A company event (a cocktail and cooking workshop) was taking place in the restaurant at the same time, which made the otherwise very pleasant atmosphere feel a bit chaotic at times. In the evening, we had dinner brought to our room from the restaurant – unfortunately, it was only decent. The pinsa was good, but the spaghetti was overcooked and therefore slightly lumpy. Overall, dinner was rather average.

The food was delicious. The tomatoes in the shrimp stir-fry were a bit too spicy. Our waiter was very attentive. It was a little noisy at times.

It was such a wonderful evening. We'd be happy to come back again. We weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

The Hotel Rosenpark and its restaurant always exude a very high standard of excellent cuisine. Unfortunately, that evening, the menu for an Italian restaurant featured only a single spaghetti menu, which was disappointing. I chose it despite the relatively high price (€28). The spaghetti had obviously been waiting for quite some time by the time it arrived, so it was no longer hot, and the seafood on top was unpleasantly hard and chewy. The staff was friendly, but they were overwhelmed with the drinks menu and the drinks.

A fantastic restaurant, right in the hotel, with a cozy atmosphere. The price is absolutely reasonable for the food – everything is delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. The starters are highly recommended. There's a large selection of children's dishes, with generous portion sizes. The staff is always attentive and courteous, even when the restaurant is fully booked. Special requests are no problem at all. I'd go back anytime!!! A place to feel good.

A very solid Italian restaurant with pizza, pasta, and more. The restaurant, which also serves as a hotel restaurant, can sometimes be a bit crowded and hectic. The menu is small but fine. We were particularly impressed by Lin's attentive and courteous service, worthy of the hotel's 5-star DEHOGA rating.

Amazing! Parking right at your table – in the on-site parking garage of this elegant and strikingly tastefully decorated hotel. The restaurant continues this style not only in its decor, but also where it matters most: in the attentive and exceptionally friendly service and the delicious dishes from the focused, minimalist menu. Highly recommended: the pizza menu for two. We had a wonderfully enjoyable and delicious evening and will definitely be back. Many thanks to the team!

This Mediterranean evening wasn't our first visit, and certainly won't be our last! As always, top-notch service and top-notch food.

We were at this place for a family celebration lunch and were more or less satisfied. The service and friendliness of the staff were excellent, both when making the reservation and at the table. There were some variations among the dishes: the appetizer salad bowl was unrefined, but all the other appetizers were satisfactory. One of the main courses arrived lukewarm, and the pasta (though not its seafood topping) was rather mediocre for an upscale Mediterranean restaurant. On the other hand, the organic chicken, among others, was very good. Some members of the family complained that the pizzas were unavailable, despite being prominently featured on the menu. (The pizza oven was supposed to be ready from 2 p.m., but the lunch hours were from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.) The wines were consistently good.

Great! Of course, the price is a bit higher, but it's worth it. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The service is top-notch, and the food is amazing.

Yesterday's tapas evening was, unfortunately, more than disappointing overall. It started promisingly, with an aperitif and a starter platter, and we were looking forward to Spanish snacks with appropriate background music. After all, that's what we had come for, had been looking forward to it for a long time, and had paid the hefty price of 109 euros per person just for the food. Unfortunately, there was no sign of tapas; we were served from pans, either with seafood, paella, meatballs, or spaghetti from the pasta station, and unfortunately, the dishes were lukewarm at best and barely seasoned. The music had nothing to do with Spain and was so loud that conversation was virtually impossible. The evening was scheduled from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. We were checked out at 10:30 p.m., and when we asked for a last drink, we were directed to a bar and asked to vacate our table because they had to set up breakfast the next day. We paid a whopping €500 for this evening for four people, including drinks, and were looking forward to it, but unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. A real shame, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

We visited this restaurant today for a tapas evening with live music. All in all, it was a successful evening. The service was very attentive and attentive to its guests. The food was top-notch and incredibly delicious. The singers were simply fantastic. The atmosphere is inviting and very cozy. We would gladly return. 🤗👍🙏

The service and ambiance at Oliva are truly first-class, which unfortunately can't be said for the food this time. The pizza was lukewarm and tasted average at best, not befitting the hefty prices.

A very nice, cozy summer terrace. Super friendly staff and a really good menu (not the run-of-the-mill menu you'll find in many other restaurants). Prices are also reasonable for the quality you get. We'd be happy to come back again.

We had a lovely spot in the sun. We received a warm welcome from the very friendly waiter, who even remembered previous visits (which had been quite some time ago). We had a great selection of drinks and food. Even changing the daily specials was no problem. The food arrived promptly at our table. It was delicious, and we couldn't help but thank him for the recommendation. He also asked about us frequently, but it wasn't intrusive.

It was great. We especially enjoyed the barbecue.

The location itself is very nice. The service was mostly very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our chosen starter, Gamberi piccanti, very much. The toppings of the Castello a mare pizza were good, but I didn't like the Malcesine pizza: the pea puree was too dominant, there was no sign or taste of mozzarella or Gorgonzola, and it had an unpleasant aftertaste. Three-quarters of it was sent back to the kitchen. The pizza dough in general was too dense, in our opinion. After cooling, it was like chewing gum. Of the two espressos we ordered after the meal, only one was served, and the second only after we asked for it.

Very friendly service, as you'd expect from Rosenpark. We found the salad to be a bit pricey. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Super delicious food!! From the homemade bread and dips to the salads and pizza. The entire service team, and especially the restaurant manager, are professional, charming, and incredibly friendly and helpful. We were at Oliva celebrating my mother's birthday. Not only did they decorate the table so warmly, but there was also a birthday dessert with fireworks as a greeting from the kitchen. Service was 100%!! Everything was done with love and so brilliantly. Our every wish was fulfilled, without any ifs, ands, or buts! FULL marks for the ambience, the service team, and a special big thank you to the restaurant manager who looked after us all evening. Thank you so much!!!!!

What can I say? We had an all-around fantastic evening here. The food was a dream and a real hit in terms of taste. Every bite transported me straight to the Mediterranean. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and lovingly blended – you can simply taste the quality and passion in every dish. The service was also top-notch: super friendly, attentive, and warm. You immediately felt welcome and well looked after. The value for money is also particularly noteworthy – absolutely fair and reasonable for the quality offered. In short: a true culinary highlight in Marburg! I will definitely be back and can highly recommend Oliva Mediterran.

Yesterday (04/19/25) we had dinner with three people to celebrate my birthday. We had a very beautifully decorated table and were warmly looked after. We were greeted with a Rosé Prosecco. We had the menu with 4 small pizzas and the linguine with asparagus and for dessert there was a crème brûlée. The taste is excellent as usual. All in all, it was a very nice evening that begs to be repeated. We would love to come back and can highly recommend the restaurant!

The hot dishes from the buffet were at best lukewarm.

We were not the first nor the last time at Oliva. The service itself was always excellent. The waitresses were very attentive and our glasses never remained empty for long. However, there was a small drawback: when we received our dessert, they didn't even "look" at us, which personally disappointed us a bit, as we didn't know that from our last visit. We would have liked to drink something more, but then we didn't order anything else because no waitress asked about us. The food was first class as always. The pizza is crispy, wonderful dough, and the starter is simply divine.

We celebrated New Year's Eve here with friends and are extremely satisfied. First in the restaurant until 11 p.m. with great food and great staff. Then in the bar until almost three o'clock and the staff is always praised. Gladly again.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Restsurant. Die Karte und Pizzen sind mal etwas anderes als der normale Kram. Das Essen war sehr gut wir hatten eine Pizza Variation aus drei verschiedenen Pizzen. Alles in allen super lecker und ein sehr freundlicher Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren zum portugiesischen Abend im Restaurant. Der Abend war sehr gelungen. Es hat mit einem Aperitif auf der Terrasse begonnen, anschließend wurde das Buffet eröffnet. Das Serviceteam war unglaublich schnell und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Speisen waren alles in Allem sehr gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich, daher die 4 Punkte.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant OLIVA and I can only say positive things about Mr. Meilinger and his team. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Mr. Meilinger personally took care of our table reservations and guided us to a perfect seat. His knowledge of the menu is impressive and he guided us through the various dishes with a lot of passion and expertise. The recommendations were excellent and every dish we tried was a culinary experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and tastefully designed, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The presentation of the dishes was also simply impressive. Mr. Meilinger not only ensured that the service ran smoothly, but also that every guest felt special and valued. I can only warmly recommend the OLIVA restaurant and Mr. Meilinger's expertise. It was an evening full of taste, hospitality and outstanding service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Great food that you can enjoy not only as a hotel guest. At Erik's Pizza you can see his training as a baker and pizza maker in Italy; I haven't eaten anything comparable in Marburg before. Uncomplicated and friendly staff, good wines, clear recommendation.

The restaurant does not correspond in any way to the price structure offered. The service is sometimes very slow, with a 3-course menu we only received the main course after 90 minutes and the bread for the aperitif only after we specifically asked. The espresso ordered for dessert took another 20 minutes to arrive. All in all not very customer oriented. In addition, the concept is not aimed at vegetarians. As a vegetarian, my culinary choices at Easter brunch were limited to cold pasta, soggy pizza and lots of bread. Unfortunately, the three remaining slices of cheese that I discovered when I arrived were gone because I was too slow. The vegetables didn't have much to do with the so-called Mediterranean title. In addition to three bowls of carrot salad, there was a small bowl of mixed salad, only the dressing was somewhere and I couldn't place it. In the three-course evening menu, the vegetarian main course was reduced to pasta. My husband's fish option was turbot, which was reasonable for the price. I find it very surprising that in such a house there is no adequate offer for people who cannot eat meat or fish. Nowadays it is standard in many upscale restaurants to also have vegetarian alternatives. Unfortunately, this is not the case in the Oliva restaurant, as the concept is obviously 'only' aimed at people who eat mainly meat and fish.

The staff is professional and the overall service is really great. The food was good for the price, but not particularly special. Overall, still a nice restaurant.

Very nice evening at Oliva Marburg. Among other things, we ordered the daily special and what can I say - absolutely excellent. Scallops cooked to perfection, the broth was very tasty and perhaps a bit too salty. The starter trilogy was also great. Only the mixture for the bread only tasted like fat. Pizza Margarita was crispy and delicious. Service was very courteous, attentive and highly professional. Nightcap at the bar was great - top advice and cocktails as well as whiskey. Thanks for that! We look forward to our next stay.
