The burgers are ok, but I think the sweet potato fries are the best. Unfortunately it depends a lot on the service. Recently ordered a cheeseburger, chili cheese was delivered. Burger went back to the kitchen, came back and simply took down the jalapenos, even forgetting another one. This is not good treatment of customers

10/10 - this was just perfect. Nice atmosphere between a chill living room with sofas and a burger shop, nice service and the food was simply great, the portions were big enough if you were really hungry. This definitely wasn't our last time! Update July 2023: still perfect, the vegetarian patty is also great

Parking not available on site. You have to walk a bit. The service was two people, polite and occasionally asked if everything was ok. Burger was good, fries were really tasty. Homemade lemonade was also good. Very sweet but delicious. It was empty but a few tables were reserved. Seems to be popular. Unfortunately there is no menu offer.

The burgers and side dishes were good, but what leads to a huge devaluation of the stars is the service: Friendly, yes, but unfortunately not at all in the guest's best interest: Sometimes there were four service staff there, the store was at most half full, or more like a third full. Nevertheless: the trays weren't cleared away even after half an hour, empty glasses were piled up at the tables and only if you asked very persistently did you get anything to drink after your meal or a dessert. There were four of us there - and with "asking a little more often" we could definitely have achieved more sales - and it would be much more comfortable at the table if a little space was made every now and then.

We ordered something to pick up. They were able to give us information about which things were gluten-free, which is not known in many restaurants. The food was very tasty. Can only be recommended.

Great burger, with lots of options to choose from. There are also many vegetarian alternatives on offer. There is definitely something for everyone. The ambience is also very nice and I will definitely come back. Just a little more expensive in terms of price, especially compared to other restaurants in the city.

The burgers, side dishes such as avocado fries, but also the salads taste very good. In most cases you can get a place even without a reservation. We'd love to come back.

There were 4 of us there and we wanted to eat something. Unfortunately you were neither greeted nor served. The waitresses preferred to stand behind the counter and have private conversations instead of taking notice of the guests. I thought it might be closed because there was no one else in the store. When our children got whiny because they didn't get anything to drink or eat, we weren't even noticed THEN. No hello, no glance at our table (we were the only ones in the restaurant), nothing. When we got up and wanted to leave, we said goodbye several times (in the hope of still being noticed) but even then there was no response. It's a shame when waitresses prefer to talk privately instead of doing their work. I wonder why people would do such a thing? Isn't it also called service worker?

Very nice atmosphere. The staff was really friendly. The normal, vegetarian burger and also the fries were excellent. The food came quickly and was still hot. Diverse selection for vegetarians and vegans!

We had a rotten salt leaf on the burger. We have drawn attention to this. Explanation from the kitchen: there was no objection to the food and it was fine. We couldn't recommend the food more!

Oh wie schade: normalerweise schätzen wir die frischen Zutaten. Heute war ein altes Saltblatt (angegammelt) auf dem Burger. Ein Versehen, nahmen wir an. Die Küche war allerdings der Meinung, dass das Salatblatt in Ordnung sei. Wie gesagt, schade eigentlich!

In my opinion, very tasty hamburgers, not “overpowering” at a fair price; see photos. Sitting outside under umbrellas on the Liebigstrasse sidewalk is possible (important for me because of my addiction to smoking ☺️). Hardly any car traffic.

If I convince myself to have a burger once or twice a year, then it must be something special, and I'm happy to spend a little more on it! Now I have decided on this restaurant. I'm THE meat guy, so it should be a "Gutenburger", classic bun and classic beef patty. The restaurant is not very busy at the time, the service is on point, the first drink comes straight away; After about 25 minutes the ordered food arrived. Some of the bun halves are burnt black, but not so bad that I have to complain about them. When you take your first courageous bite into the burger, you immediately feel a certain disappointment: something completely tasteless! Blindfolded, I wouldn't even be able to tell that there was any meat there! At first I think I was given the vegetarian version by mistake. So I “autopsy” the whole thing first...and I realize: THIS is meat! Well, put everything back together and continue eating. Luckily, every now and then I come across some jalapenos...finally a hint of flavor! I consciously save the “fries” until the end, true to the motto: the best comes last! And these are the "fries"...they're not particularly worth mentioning...but they don't need to be to stand out in this "menu"! I am absolutely disappointed with a "burger menu" for almost €20.00, which doesn't justify its price in the least for me! I'll even go so far as to say: THIS IS THE VERY WORST BURGER I'VE EVER EATED!!! Plus two drinks. The first wheat beer for €4.90 from the bottle is as it should be, the second is soooo warm, as if it had never seen a refrigerator. I don't want to argue, I don't feel like it and I don't have any time left, I just want to get out of here! For the whole thing I pay €31.00 (including tip)...at least the service is nice...and I totally regret paying such a sum for such a package!!! It may be that vegetarians or vegans get their money's worth here; But I'll definitely never come back for a "meat burger"! In my case, the ambience and service ensure a really well-intentioned 2 stars...sorry!

Very tasty, fresh and in several variations.

The burgers are very tasty and so are the side dishes. The homemade one Strawberry lemonade is super delicious! And my favorite burger is the smoky one. For people who like spicy things, the hot sauce is great! The strawberry lemonade is also really good.

Waiter took ages to take our order. He was a bit curt when speaking. Food was good, but unnecessarily expensive with small portions. The location is pretty nice on gutenbergstraße. All in all, it was a pretty underwhelming experience. I don't imagine I'll be back soon.

I've been there several times now and I've never been disappointed. I can highly recommend the vegan burgers, especially the spicy ones. And the fries are particularly good here too. I've never had such delicious fries and even when we took them to go, they were still nice and crispy and warm when we got home. (We live 30 minutes away.) The service is always very friendly and always accommodating. I would be happy to come back at any time.

Taste is good. Could be a little spicier. Prices are a bit high. For a burger, fries, coleslaw and a drink, the cost is around €25-30.

The atmosphere is very modern, slightly industrial, but generally rather uncomfortable. The citizens are first class and the service is top!

You wait n hour for any service.... :( Burgers r tiny swimming in mooore sauce, they forget the cheese... The service does not speak English, try russian or turkish.... Not worth the money

Top selection of burgers. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't use high quality minced meat as I end up with cartilage in the meat every time. Therefore not recommended for sensitive people, so they should be taken vegetarian.

Das Restaurant bietet von Alt bis Jung eine Anlaufstelle zum Burger essen, oder auch, nur um einen Wein zu trinken. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Burger nicht von der Stange. Ein absoluter Tipp für die Marburger Kulinarik.

Full marks for food, drinks and service! Great selection of patties, including vegetarian ones, and burger variations that are a dream! We come to Marburg often and a visit to Gutenburger is always firmly in our plans!

Bedienung verpeilt. Essen komplett zu fettig. Toiletten alle nicht sauber, Papier und Handtücher fehlten, Seifenspender defekt. Serviette am Tisch ein dünner Witz zu Fingerfood. Werden es noch einmal testen....mal sehen, ob auf Rezensionen und Anmerkungen vor Ort reagiert wird.

Burger und die Fritten waren sehr lecker. Ausgefallenere Zutaten fanden ebenfalls ihren Weg auf die Karte und sorgten für ´geschmackliche Abwechslung!

Zu Stoßzeiten extrem unorganisiert. Betrifft Küche, Service & Kassensystem. Dies ist, bei dem eigentlich guten Essen, mehr als ärgerlich. Stellt euch darauf ein warten zu müssen und überprüft eure Bestellung. Öfter als nicht stimmt etwas nicht, ist kalt oder wurde vergessen.

Kann dazu aktuell noch nichts sagen, aber laut Broschüre gibt's Auswahl an Fleisch, Veggie und Vegan Menüs0a⁰0 und wird Lieferung angeboten aber mit bestimmten Voraussetzungen!

Das Essen ist lecker, die Auswahl prima, aber leider habe ich jetzt zum zweiten Mal eine Enttäuschung beim Bestellen zum Abholen erlebt. Wir wollten das Essen in eigenen Gefäßen/Brotdosen abholen und haben das natürlich am Telefon dazu gesagt. Als wir ankamen war leider alles schon in Pappe und Plastik eingepackt und das bei zwei von drei Bestellungen. Liebes Gutenburger-Team, ich würde gerne weiter bei euch bestellen, aber dass es nicht möglich ist, sein Essen ohne Verpackung zu bekommen, finde ich sehr enttäuschend und unzeitgemäß in einem sonst so modernen, fortschrittlichen Restaurant.

Die Pommes waren sehr lecker und besonders und die Portion ausreichend. Der Burger war in Ordnung. Er war nicht sonderlich groß und teilweise fehlte etwas Geschmack. Die Bedienung war jedoch sehr freundlich und es ging alles sehr schnell. Die Einrichtung ist ebenfalls schön.

Ein wirklich gemütliches, kleines Restaurant. Mein Favorit für vegetarische und vegane Burger! Vor allem in der dunklen Jahreszeit kommt das schöne Ambiente besonders zur Geltung. Sehr gute und leckere Auswahl an Getränken, die von den Standard-Softdrinks abweichen. Unser Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert. Es war frisch zubereitet, toll angerichtet und einfach köstlich! Kleiner Laden im Südviertel von Marburg. Gut zu erreichen. Wir waren zu Fuß Vorort. Empfang sehr freundlich und der reservierte Tische war vorbereitet. Der Innenraum ist sehr ansprechend und modern gestaltet. Essen und Getränken waren zügig am Tisch. Geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut. Cheeseburger und Avocadoburger mit Dippers und Süßkartoffelpommes. Preislich etwas gehoben, aber dennoch berechtig. Meine Frau war hin und weg von der veganen Knoblauchmayo 🙈 wir kommen gerne wieder 👌🏼

Sehr leckeres Essen über das gesamte Angebot. Wir hatten alles, den Standard Burger 🍔mit Fleischpatty, Pommes und Sosse, sowie die Veganen Varianten mit Süßkartoffeln. Alles super lecker und zeitnah frisch zubereitet. Kann man nur empfehlen Kleiner Tip Ich habe in der Nähe der automatischen Tür gesessen. Die Öffnungszeit ist teilweise sehr lang, so dass es sehr kalt um die Beine wird

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal da, jeweils auf der Rückreise und bisher nie enttäuscht worden. War es beim ersten Mal Zufall, wollten wir dieses Mal auf der Rückreise zu Abend essen. Wir hatten #5, den Rauchigen (mit Bacon und einmal extra Ziegenkäse) mit einer Portionen Pommes. Frisches (nicht gefrorenes) Hackfleisch, leckere Zutaten und einfach frisch. Die Pommes Mal was anderes (von der Form her), auch sehr lecker. Nur zum empfehlen. Leider konnten wir nicht vor Ort essen, da wir im Haltverbot gestanden hatten, aber gemütlich sah es aus

Build your burger! Im Cafe Gutenburger kann der eigene Burger gestaltet werden. Hierbei können Brötchen und Patty individuell geordert werden. Es gibt zudem vegetarische und vegane Köstlichkeiten. Ich kann das Burgerrestaurant wärmsten empfehlen und ein wiederkommen lässt einen immer wieder etwas neues entdecken. Daneben gibt es auch Saisonale Angebote über Kürbis, Tomaten und auch einen Lachsburger.

Der Flair ist gut, das Ambiente stimmig und auch das Essen hat überzeugt, auch wenn man es nicht wirklich als günstig beschreiben sollte. Aber das muss es ja auch nicht wenn die Qualität stimmt, hier werden die Grundzutaten regional beschafft was ich hoch anrechne.

Wir hatten 1 veganen Burger (Dr. Avocado) und Avocado Fries und normale Pommes. Der Burger war sehr lecker und Saftig. Die Pommes waren wirklich mal was anderes und alles sehr reichlich. Der Service war wirklich sehr gut. Hannah und Theres waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend, da schmeckt das Essen gleich nochmal besser. Das Ambiente ist ganz schick und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Wenn ich wieder mal in Marburg bin, komm ich nochmal vorbei. Für Veganer ein echtes Muss!

Die Burger sind sehr lecker und auch die Beilagen. Die hausgemachte Erdbeerenlimonade ist super lecker! Und mein Favorit Burger ist der Rauchige. Für Leute die scharfe Sachen mögen ist die scharfe Soße super!

Hier war es sehr lecker und es herrschte eine schöne Atmosphäre. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hat sich nach unserer Zufriedenheit erkundigt. Der vegane Burger mit Antipasti-Gemüse war wunderbar, die Süßkartoffelpommes ebenfalls. Ich kann das Lokal nur weiterempfehlen.
