Restaurant Nolle in Berlin

I always enjoy going there. Very nice atmosphere

was there with a large conference group. Buffet very tasty. Service made a lot of effort but could hardly keep up with the drinks. Food very good. Ambience really nice but very loud in a large group!

Cool atmosphere. We were lucky with a very thoughtful and child-loving service person. The food also completely suited our taste. We'd love to come back for dinner.

Excellent and special. Very well decorated in a station hall. The Flamenkusche is delicious 👍. Cheap👍

Nolle was the right place to hold a dinner for the birthday party. Simply a great restaurant that takes you back to the Golden 20s. It has a distinctive style, good cuisine and great old posters from times gone by. Many thanks again to our waiter Konstantin (hopefully remembered and spelled correctly) for his excellent service and to the kitchen for fulfilling our little extra requests. It was a successful evening with you. My guests loved the place!

The tables are very spacious, the staff is friendly and the service is quite fast.

I was there for the Christmas party with my team and we came on a recommendation. First about the food: I had the potato soup (vegetarian) as a starter, the veal schnitzel with warm potato salad as the main course and the apple strudel as a dessert. I found the starter absolutely boring and unspectacular. The main course was really good. Regarding dessert, I have to say that I asked in advance whether the apple strudel was homemade, which was answered in the negative. Overall I found it to be too dry and unspectacular in taste. The service was mostly attentive, but only at first. When some colleagues had finished eating while others were still eating, the table was already being cleared, which we found to be a bit annoying. Then, when the last colleagues had finished eating, they suddenly stopped clearing and the empty plates sat there for at least an hour. We were also no longer asked whether we wanted something to drink. Otherwise nicely furnished, although the toilets could use some renovation/renovation.

The food is really good. That was really surprising for me. I come here with guests every now and then for work. Unfortunately it is sometimes extremely loud when you sit down in the back. But we've also been there on weekdays when it wasn't full, so it's really nice.

Veal schnitzel and Noelle plate were good however crème brûlée was lumpy and took 30 mins to get someone’s attention to get the bill

Day 12 of traveling to Europe This is definitely the best fried pork cutlet I have ever eaten Even though it’s called Vienna Schnitzel, it’s better than the restaurants in Vienna.

NOT RECOMMENDED Unpleasant person upon entering. We asked for a table, even with the restaurant empty, he decided to give us the table at the entrance.

Wonderful little bistro, food was amazing, great service, visitor from n.ireland.

The food was a m a z i n g although because there is a train station near by so It made alot of noise every few minutes Id still recomend going there for the food. Overall nice place especially if you are staying at the hotel across It.

We came across Restaurant Nolle by chance and were immediately very impressed by the whole atmosphere and ambience. The charm of old Berlin was captured in style with marble, mirrors, leather and Art Deco paintings. A stylish ambience for fine and rustic culinary delights has been established under the six meter high, vaulted ceiling of the S-Bahn arch. The style of the 20s and traditional hospitality have been found here for over 100 years. The service was very friendly, quick and competent. The quality of the food was very positive. We were very enthusiastic about our schnitzel. The price-performance ratio was very good for us. Conclusion: Absolute recommendation from us...

Quaint restaurant and delicious food. Because you eat directly under the S-Bahn, the scenery is of course a bit louder. But that didn't particularly bother us, on the contrary, it actually made it more special. The food was also very good and tasty. Service was also great.

Food looked amazing and the place really did look like a special place to eat. As international travellers I tried to book a table for that evening in my broken German but just received a shout of VOLL and the waitress walked away. We were going to ask whether there was a table at lunchtime instead but weren’t given the opportunity. And also were quite frankly too scared! The place looks great and smelt wonderful, the food looks amazing but the staff have no manners

We ran away from one due to the terrible service and found NOLLE! Excellent choice! Good food, excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Lena served us very well! We recommend :)

It’s a shame that the service wasn’t up to par. The waitress was unfriendly and haughty. Very poor food, the steak was overcooked. Very bad experience, move on!

Unique ambience directly under the constantly moving S Bahn. The service is favorably rated with 3 stars. At first you are simply left standing / forgotten. Then you will hardly be looked at. As soon as you could order things went better. The food is good, finally crispy and tasty fried potatoes.

First of all, this is the third meal I had in Berlin. Berlin is a place with relatively good food quality, so I think I had high expectations. I had schnitzel... but if you are traveling from Korea, I would recommend trying a different menu. Because we have a good food called pork cutlet. Beer, schnitzel, and 2 euro tip for 27 euros. 40,000 won. Or, it might be a good idea to try a different sauce. Basically, it's not tasteless. It just means that Korean pork cutlet is really good. The server told me that the tip was 10%. There is a bit of noise because it is under the subway, so please take this into consideration.

Good home cooking, centrally located, prompt service, overall the gastronomic concept is lived here with consistent quality and has been for several years. You know what to expect and you get it. In times of ever-deteriorating personnel quality, you have to say “hats off” to management.

We were there with a very large group. Service was active and did its job - but no flair of an upscale restaurant. Food was mediocre - small portions. Everything could have had a bit more pizzazz - solid performance.

Excellent food quality. Sometimes I just like simple authentic food like meatball in mushroom sauce. Everything in this large restaurant breathes the Berlin atmosphere of great times in the 19th century. A must if you like authenticity. Prices are very moderate.

Von der Architektur sieht das Restaurant aus wie ein Bahnhof, gross hoch und mit Bogendecke. Viele Tische in der Halle und Terassen. Laut , insbesondere wenn die Züge direkt über die Halle rattern. Wände mit Bildern der 20iger Jahren. Essen war gut, kleine Weinkarte. Service freundlich.

Nolle special was amazing. Not the best but still amazing. The atmosphere is literally from another time 🙂 cool waitress. A must visit place in Berlin.

At first glance it's a nice place. But the service is just a disaster. Unfriendly and incompetent staff. Another minus is that the kitchen in the restaurant closes at 19:00. And this is on Saturday! Strange

On Saturday at 7pm the kitchen is already closed and it is impossible to order food, not even snacks. Very rude staff. Despite the low attendance, we couldn't wait to wait almost half an hour to take our order

The menu at the Nolle restaurant is very diverse and offers something for “every” taste. The air in the restaurant was stale and luckily we were able to sit outside. The food was OK (Jägerschnitzel), but nothing special. The service was very attentive and very friendly despite the crowds (several large groups).

Food was surprisingly good. We had fish that was well seasoned, not too dry and the shrimp wasn't skimped on. Service was unnecessarily hectic but we got everything we ordered. Restaurant looks like a tourist rip-off, but it's much better!

Loved this place. Good vibes, great service. And the food was amazing. Would recommend the meatball with pepper sauce and fried potatoes. Highly recommend.

From a VEGAN point of view: there are two vegan mains on the menue, which we both had. It was good, especially the herb crème fraîche on the side, but the dishes are surely lacking more sources of protein. For me as a mid-30 person it‘s rather a place to take your parents to for dinner, when they are visiting Berlin. Great atmosphere, quite loud, too.

Good and quality service. It's a shame they don't work on Sunday. I really liked the food. The steak was well done and the schnitzels were juicy. I recommend!

Wow! We walk through Berlin and discover a wonderful restaurant with my last name. Of course we had to go in and got a great seat even without a reservation. The ambience is enchanting. You find yourself right back in your 20s. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. We were also particularly happy about the “Nolle shot”. Thank you for this spontaneously great evening! Perhaps one of the best Schnitzels I've ever had. It is located in a super nice place under Friedrichstrasse station and you can hear the trains passing by. The interior is nicely decorated with good staff and good food. In addition, it is also very affordable.

We had schnitzel, which was very tasty. Food was prepared quickly. It was very loud because there were so many tables. I also think the drinks prices are too expensive, otherwise everything is great.

Sorry, but €21 for neck pins. Ice cream only scoop in the bowl €3.20 Price performance not satisfactory. The ambience is good, but unfortunately the noise level is like in a train station. And that's not because of the S-Bahn. Service is polite and attentive.

Visited this restaurant for an evening meal. We all had the meatballs. These were really delicious. The apple strudels were also super. We had a very friendly and efficient server who quickly arranged tables to suit our party even though restaurant was busy. Lovely decor and great buzz.

You will find the historic restaurant right next to Friedrichstrasse train station. When you enter, you feel like you have been transported back to the 1920s. A very special atmosphere has been created here. Large palm trees decorate the room. The wall paintings and artistic architecture are very successful and invite you to linger. You can hear and feel the S-Bahn trains moving above the ceiling. After a friendly welcome at the entrance we were shown to our table. Food and drinks were brought to us and we enjoyed both very much. My absolute recommendation is the fresh potato soup. It is available as a vegetarian version and with bacon and sausage slices. For me it's currently the best potato soup in town. Whenever I'm a guest here, it's a must-have for me. Big compliment!

Delicious food in a very atmospheric restaurant in the 20s Art Deco style.

Belle brasserie au cadre agréable des années 30. Très bien située juste en face de l’hôtel NH dans une rue calme. Flamenküches délicieuses – Wiener Schnitzel que ce soit de veau ou de porc excellentes et très bien servies. Service rapide, souriant et très agréable. Très bon rapport qualité / prix. Le bœuf est également délicieux et cuit à point. Un passage incontournable si vous séjournez au NH ou si vous passez à proximité de la Friedrichstrasse Bahnhof

Trendy restaurant with 1920s theme situated underneath the railroad. It makes a lot of noise when trains run over. During the event happens less. Food is good and service is both fast and professional. Good selection of beer and drinks. The dessert menu was a bit short, but had what you need for a proper German dessert. We’ve been at this restaurant as quite big group. What was recommended by German friends was of course schnitzel which costed around 25€. Few people ordered it and it haven’t look tasty. There was only piece of meat, small potatos and lemon. Where vegetables? My friends told me that it was totally NOT worth the money. From my perspective - I ordered fried salmon with grilled vegetables, potatoes and salad that was delicious and costed same as this poor schnitzel! Before ordering - check specifically what will be at plate not to disappoint yourself.

This is a very rustic restaurant with tradition. Directly under the S-Bahn route in a vault. When a train passes over it, you hear a dull rumbling and feel a tremor! Has something.

We were in the bistro of the Nolle restaurant with a group of 10 people. The service was friendly even if there was a bit of confusion when ordering. The bistro is also nice and cozy because the room is smaller. I cannot recommend the bistro for people with walking problems as the toilet is on the 1st floor. Unfortunately, there is no disabled toilet in the Nolle Bistro. The food was very tasty and also plentiful. However, the crème brûlée is not recommended at all. Due to a few minor criticisms 4/5 stars. We chose it primarily because of the central but comparatively quiet location (apart from the quiet rumble of the S-Bahn) and we were satisfied.

Very cozy place with historical atmosphere. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but is definitely worth a visit. Our waiter had a less than good day, the food was ok, but the atmosphere adds to the overall impression and we would like to come again the next time we come to Berlin.

Café en fin de repas à éviter par contre. Le service était correct mais relativement froid... C'est malheureusement ce qui me fait baisser la note...

Very nice restaurant under the tracks. If you don't mind the quiet noise of the train, it's a very pleasant place to dine.

Great kitchen; good service; beautiful surroundings. It just so happened that we started our stay in Berlin at the Nolle restaurant. Later, we visited other catering establishments, but we did not find such a cozy environment and excellent food. That's why we had dinner again at Nolle on the last day :)

A great place to eat near Alexanderplatz, the center of Berlin. The restaurant is quite nice, the service is good and the food is quite good. The boulette is especially good.

Great Berlin hospitality with regional dishes

Recommended for a beer in the back garden after work, but not so much as a restaurant. The food is okay, but the offering is similar to that of any snack bar in Berlin, but at four times the price; Grotesquely overpriced for the quality and quantity. It's really only worth it because of the location if you're in the hotel there and don't want to walk far.

Please be very careful if you visit this restaurant/bar. The staff charge you for drinks you didn’t have. The staff are liars and thieves. Said I asked for drinks when I wasn’t even there at the time the drinks were rung up, but up in my hotel room speaking to my husband.

Really nice little traditional food place. Inside is decorated really pretty, and the outside patio behind the restaurant is very peaceful. The waiter was quick and although he wasn't bubbly, he answered all questions and provided great service.

Got off to a great start, turned up without a reservation but was offered a couple of choices of seating. The initial order was taken and service was courteous and efficient. Ordered drinks and requested a brief hiatus before ordering the food. Drinks arrived and food order taken. Main course arrived promptly and everyone enjoyed their food, the peppercorn cream was really good. Plates were cleared, a second round of soft drinks were ordered and again arrived promptly. Desserts were ordered and from there things slowed dramatically. After 20 minutes wait for a chocolate ice cream and an apple strudel a waiter was asked where the dessert was. The waiter said they would find out and 10 minutes later no update and still waiting. The dessert arrived at the point of exasperation and the bill was requested. The dessert was nothing to write home about, definitely had better apple pie which was disappointing. After a further period of waiting managed to grab the attention of the waiter to pay the bill. Final insult was the expectation of a tip for poor level service. Such a shame as up to the dessert debacle was very happy but left feeling let down.

Very enjoyable dinner. Very good dishes. Very good portions. I would like everyone to take the previous review from Dalia RDF with a big grain of salt. I was there and the waiter was trying to be as reasonable as possible to an unrealistic and entitled demand from this family. The family pushed the waiter to be confrontational saying “this is not how it is in my country” when it was clear on the menu that it would be raw. They should have read, ask questions and ask for clarifications if they were unsure of the dish they were getting. They finally got another dish after the manager stepped in and clearly had enough of the shouting match instigated by this family ruining everyone’s experience at this restaurant. Please learn about the culture, learn about the food if you go somewhere that is not your country. If you prefer to eat food from your country, Berlin is so diverse, you can find it here easily.

I ate with my family in this place hoping to have a pleasant time, but the waiter's temperament and bad service made us feel uncomfortable. We ordered a fish dish that was described as "cold" on the menu in English. When they brought it we realized that the fish was raw, we asked the waiter to put it on the grill to cook it because the person who ordered it does not eat raw fish, and the waiter without any reason and rudely refused to do what we asked, saying that the The dish was traditional German and could not be modified in any way by cooking the fish because it would not taste the same. We explained our reasons (and that in his case we would have understood that it was crude if the letter said “RAW”), and since we loved him and he was very rude in his treatment, we asked him to speak to the manager and he refused to speak with us . He didn't ask us to choose another dish at a cost and we told him that all we wanted was for him to grill the fish. Anyway. The attention and treatment of the waiter was disappointing, I refuse to believe that Berliners are like that. In the end, after a couple of shouts, he changed our dish for another one from the menu at no cost, although he took the order in a bad way and repeated that we read the menu carefully. Of course I don't recommend places like this where you receive rude treatment.

A good place for typical German food. They are very friendly, fast and the food is very good. My partner and I tried Schnitzel and a curry wurst and it was all pretty good.

Kitchen top BUT the older blonde waitress with a somewhat rough voice threw my debit card on the table and exposed me for not giving a tip. I wanted to do it but just verbally attacking me in an angry manner is not possible. We were regulars...but now WE HAVE BEEN.

Amazing place to dine and try German food in Berlin. Don’t let the location fool you! It is right by the train station in a cute little alley near the beautiful River. Menu with amazing German food offerings for vegetarians and non vegetarians as well. Portions are quite generous and the prices are very reasonable. Service is very friendly and top notch! Wow! What a great little find. After a long day ambling around Berlin's many sites we stumbled upon Nolle. No problem with a table and the service was 1st class - attentive and welcoming. We had a couple of schnitzels (Nolle were happy to accommodate an egg allergy) and drinks, all excellent. Would heartily recommend.

Ok food but the old waitresses commented that we were rude when she didn't receive tip for serving the food like Germany was a third country. We eat a burger and a schnitzel. We have paid tourist taxes to hotels and 8 eur for water at the restaurants. And now they want extra money for serving regular food. Weird country....

Drinks were served, the Allgäu tarte flambée, well I've had better ones, the cheese was hard to taste, the arugula salad wasn't the freshest either, but the service was friendly and quick, I'll stop by there again sometime. Otherwise very empty at lunchtime, Charly B.
