Restaurant Neuhof "der Grieche" in Neuburg a.d.Donau

The food was okay; we ordered a platter for four people. However, there were simply too many onions on the platter, which then got warm. In my opinion, the garlic bread was too small for the price, and the taste was a bit too sour and garlicky, perhaps from too much butter.

Delicious food, very nice owners, we love going there (driving there).

For me, this has been the best Greek restaurant in Neuburg for years. Great portions and absolutely delicious. Tip: always make a reservation, otherwise you'll have trouble getting a table.

We tried to request a table on Sunday evening. An unfriendly gentleman greeted us with, "You don't even need to come in." We've never experienced anything like that before. We recommend avoiding this restaurant!

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. The food tasted good, and the portions weren't too big, so you didn't have to send anything back. The service was very friendly.

It was a lovely evening with good food. You should reserve a table here. Everyone is friendly and you feel at home. I, a coffee lover, wanted a large cappuccino, but they only serve small ones, so I wanted two small ones... But I got my large cup 😍 Thanks for that.

The portions could be larger and the taste could be better. There are definitely better Greek restaurants. Mass processing is more accurate here, and no criticism. Then the mood changes. We simply asked why some people got ouzo and others didn't. That didn't go down well at all, and they slammed the two glasses down on us. They also mentioned who we had ordered from and forgot about it. We will avoid this restaurant in the future. I don't understand all the positive reviews at all.

A pleasant setting. The service was very friendly, prompt, and polite. You do have to bring a bit more money, but the meat and salad are more than just organic. You can see and taste it. Many more restaurants could do this. Top!

I have eaten here several times and the food is really very good. Now I have to point out the negative service. When I want to go out to eat on a weekday (Wednesday) at lunchtime and am intercepted at the door (I think it was the boss)...with waving, crossed arms and the words...no no...not possible anymore...and he shows me his watch...it was 5 minutes to 1:30. I then say they are open until 2 p.m. and he says yes, you can stay that long but food is only served until 1:30 p.m. and I say it is not even 1:30 p.m. ...but he then says...still, we can't do that anymore, you have to come earlier, then I ask myself whether this restaurant already has enough guests that it can treat its potential guests like this and you learn once again that anyone who thinks they are already on top has to sink down again to see EVERY guest as a guest and treat them as such. It often depends on HOW you solve a problem and that can also be done with friendliness. Consider taking a training course to learn how to interact with people. I just hope for the sake of the employees that they are not treated like this. Finally...revise your website because we relied on these opening times and on this day, which was supposed to be special for my mother, it was no longer possible to find a place that was open for lunch. And no, it wasn't a holiday. Take a look at the photo with the opening times on the internet🙏🏻I still hope that this person can put the coldness he radiates behind him because that is not how you treat your guests.

We were there on May 10th at 5:30 p.m. and got another spot. Service was super friendly. Food came quickly and was very good (gyros in Metaxa sauce) we can recommend the restaurant!

An extraordinary experience in the Restaurant Neuhof “the Greek” This Sunday we had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Greek restaurant, even though we had not made a reservation in advance. What particularly impressed me was the warm welcome and the offer to get a table despite the full house. This small gesture immediately showed me that the staff here not only cares about the guests, but also shows exceptional hospitality. The restaurant itself exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. Outside, a small statue of Aphrodite catches the eye, which looks very inviting and sweetens the visit in advance. The decoration is authentically Greek and creates a cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel good. The service was excellent - the staff were always attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The orders were taken quickly and the food was served quickly. Greek cuisine was presented here in all its variety and quality. From the classic starters like tzatziki and spanakopita to the main courses like gyros and moussaka - everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Particularly noteworthy is the fresh quality of the ingredients, which was clearly evident in every dish. Despite the initial doubts as to whether we would even get a table, our visit turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The combination of warm hospitality, authentic ambience and excellent cuisine makes this restaurant a real insider tip. I can recommend it to anyone who loves Greek cuisine and wants to feel comfortable in a warm atmosphere. A visit here is definitely worth the trip - even on a sunny Sunday! Recommendation: Be sure to try the traditional Greek dishes and be surprised by the warm hospitality of the staff. Reservations are advisable, but you will always be welcomed here even without advance notice.

I always enjoy eating there. Decent portions of very tasty food at a fair price. This is an overall concept that unfortunately can sometimes lead to you not getting any more space because other people had the same idea. So it's worth making a reservation, especially for larger groups. Was there recently with a friend. When we entered, we announced that we would have to leave in an hour at the latest. No problem for the kitchen, the drinks were there after 3 minutes, the food followed 10 minutes later. In the end we still had more than enough air and were immediately charged when we asked for it. The innkeeper really has a great handle on his shop.

We've been eating here for years. Delicious dishes, friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The only wish would be a slightly larger selection of vegetarian dishes.

We finally got a place. Of course only with reservation. (Without it's a matter of luck!) The innkeeper greeted us with a handshake. Wait staff on point. Food very tasty and plentiful. It's just a shame that you only get rice with the meat and you have to order fries separately. Otherwise completely full and satisfied.

Food was excellent as always. Large selection of dishes on the menu (almost a bit too much!). Service was excellent and the catering was carried out quite quickly despite the full house. Prices are fair given the high quality of the food. But I still have two comments: Unfortunately, the fried potatoes on offer are only fried, which spoiled my enjoyment of the fried potatoes. FRIED potatoes have to be fried, otherwise they're not FRY potatoes, just slices of fries, or rename it, or take it off the menu. Unfortunately the tomato cream soup was also nothing, as it only consisted of cream and was pink. The taste was more like packet soup and didn't fit in with the rest of the high-quality cuisine.

Here it's quality over quantity, but don't worry you'll get full ((: Rhodo plate and a pita with tzatzizi beforehand - very tasty. Well, the gyros and the fries could have been a little more in the evening for the price, but it was still ok. Hungry people young men will have to order an extra side dish.

Today you have lost me as a guest and customer. As a native of Neuburg, I have visited your restaurant very often. Today I ordered something to take away. When you arrived on time you didn't even say hello or good evening to me. On the contrary, I was stupidly ignored and stood next to my plate that was ready to be picked up for almost 10 minutes and was able to watch it get cold. I don't want to feel like I'm an annoying guest. But that's exactly how I felt today. I think you're not quite on the right track anymore.

Finally a cozy restaurant, comfortable to sit in, the atmosphere is stylish, the service is not intrusive, the food is sufficient, tasteful and you don't have to wait long. Probably had a very bad day. Ordered at 6pm, got the food at 8pm after we asked. Food was delicious as always, but the portion was relatively small (few fries and salad smaller than usual). If you know the host, things seem to go faster. The table next door was there at 7 p.m. and got their food before us. I wouldn't have commented on the whole thing if the boss's "apology" hadn't been so flimsy. Thank you very much, I don't need that, even if the food is good.

We were there for lunch, clean and large restaurant. Order was only from the lunch menu, small manageable portions, carelessly and tastelessly prepared side salad. We have already eaten at better Greek restaurants and the prices are also on the higher side.

After eating there I said where I was before, in my country we have a great gastronomy and it was difficult for me to adapt to Europe, but since I discovered this restaurant I am happy and when I feel like eating delicious food and at a super price I absolutely recommend it!! !!! Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall. Eigentlich würden wir sehr gerne wieder zum Essen kommen, denn das war gut. Leider ist der Service-Chef sehr unfreundlich und überheblich, er gibt einem nicht das Gefühl als Gast willkommen zu sein. Ganz im Gegenteil, auf eine freundliche Frage, bekommt man eine extrem patzige Antwort. Griechische Gastfreundlichkeit sieht anders aus. Ansonsten hätte ich für das Essen und die anderen sehr freundlichen Servicekräfte 4 Punkte vergeben. Unsere Freunde gehen nach einem weiteren Versuch, wo besagter Service-Chef wieder durch seine unfreundliche Art negativ auffiel, auch nicht mehr hin. Zum Glück gibt es Alternativen.

Dzis pierwszy raz odwiedziłam tą restaurację razem z koleżankami. Jedzenie było niesamowicie pyszne, Service uprzejmy, sympatyczny i bardzo pomocny. Krótki czas oczekiwania na jedzenie, szybka reakcja kelnerów i ciągłe zainteresowanie z ich strony. Dekoracje nie w moim guście, ale przecież to jedzenie się liczy najbardziej a z niego wszyscy byliśmy bardzo pozytywnie zadowoleni.

Im großen und Ganzen war es sehr gut, nur die Spinnenweben müssen mal entfernt werden 😊

Generell ein vernünftiges Angebot mit klassischen "deutsch-griechischen" Tellern zu einem akzeptablen Preis. Der etwas eigenartige Wirt, der sich nicht durch übermäßige Freundlichkeit auszeichnet, und die miserable Erreichbarkeit per Telefon für Bestellungen sorgen aber nicht gerade für Begeisterung, zumal man, wenn man doch durchkommt, vor Ort noch ewig warten muß. Aber der Erfolg gibt dem Restaurant recht, praktisch immer bestens ausgebucht, scheint also alles OK zu sein.

Geschmacklich gut, aber die Portionen sind etwas klein geraten. Besonders wenn man sie mit dem vergleicht, was man sonst in griechischen Restaurants bekommt. Der Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein und Gäste mit leeren Gläsern fragen, ob sie noch etwas wollen.

Jedzenie pyszne, świeże, za każdym razem gdy jesteśmy nie jesteśmy zawiedzeni. Obsługa również miła i pomocna ,nawet gdy nie mamy rezerwacji. Cudnie tu być w lecie gdzie na zewnątrz można chociaż troszkę poczuć się jak w Grecji , tylko błękitu morza brak do tego jedzenia
