Subway in Neuburg a.d.Donau

We wanted to use the coupon for "two 15 cm subs for the price of one," which I mentioned at the beginning of the order and again at checkout, but the bill was still incorrect. We only received the receipt after specifically asking for it. Furthermore, I find it disappointing that when you order a "pre-made" sub (e.g., Cheesy Gouda Chicken in our case), this is never understood or seemingly deliberately ignored, as the staff apparently don't know how to assemble them and ask what you want at every step.

Great shop. The only employee prefers to talk on the phone in some foreign language and goes to the back instead of serving the only customers (two people). The job must be very demanding if you'd rather ignore the customers and keep on the phone.

The staff are very rude, and the work isn't done in a hygienic manner. It's a shame, because the food is actually pretty decent.

Compared to other branches, this one is absolutely impressive. The employee (a friendly, nice lady wearing a headscarf) still had a full selection of fresh vegetables even shortly before closing time. Empty sauce jars were fetched from the back in seconds. Vegetarians/vegans were even asked if they wanted a new knife for cutting. Fabulous!

The atmosphere is great, but that's about it. I was in the store on August 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM, and there were no lettuce, onions, or peppers. A warning about this before ordering would have been appreciated, because it can happen that the delivery doesn't arrive on time, but as a customer, I would like to have been informed beforehand. To make matters worse, I then received this chicken that was completely undercooked, which is, of course, both very dangerous and disgusting.

I got a chicken teriyaki meal. The meat was delicious, but I didn't like the cheese that much. The bread was okay, but I especially liked the fresh salad. I also had a chocolate chip cookie and a packet of Lays chips – both were really tasty. The service was good overall, but one employee ignored me at one point, which I found a bit disappointing. The atmosphere in the store was very pleasant, as the Subway had recently been renovated and now looks modern and attractive. Overall, a solid experience with a few minor flaws, but also many positives.

Delicious, good, and reasonably priced, as always. Today, I was full again and made my grandson happy. Very friendly service.

Top Edit: Employee redeems the sub-points in the app without asking. This only becomes noticeable afterwards when the points in the app are fewer than before the purchase. It's annoying when you collect the points so you can redeem a footlong at the end.

A very good branch with good employees

First of all, I like going to this subway and overall I'm always satisfied. Unfortunately not today... When I was preparing it, I made precise statements and they only partially listened and paid attention - but the sandwich was ok. It didn't ask for the SubApp. I just wanted to open the app and have it scanned, but I had already pressed cash because she saw the €20 note lying on my wallet and just took it down... no points for me. I would have liked to have made a review with the receipt, but unfortunately this is no longer possible, so via Google.

Bacon as an additional charge which was not mentioned. These 'chips' are inedible. We actually wanted menus for the children. Then everything was calculated individually. The voucher from Schlemmerblock is therefore not implemented properly here. Very disappointing. The sandwiches here are grossly overpriced. But actually it's good, the children don't want to go there again.

Food is exceptionally tasty, of course Subway is generally really good - but especially here! What is it about? I believe in Trevor, he is truly the best man. His subs always look delicious and not just slapped together. The man deserves a raise!! After the renovation, the ambience is really first-class and invites you to linger. The price is absolutely good when you compare it to other fast food chains - but don't forget that there is definitely much healthier food on the table here.

Sandwiches are dry. The coffee is bitter. I couldn’t find another place in the city to sit and drink coffee and finish my work tasks, so I settled on this one. There is only one outlet for the entire room. But since I couldn’t find any alternatives, I came here for 2-3 days to work for 1-2 hours. Wi-Fi is so terrible that it was distributed from the phone. But most importantly, on the 3rd day, an employee told me that I could no longer sit here with a laptop. I can only drink coffee and eat. It was he who conveyed the words of the director, who was watching in the cameras. Considering that the hall is completely empty during the day and I am the only visitor who always bought coffee and a sandwich, I think this is at least a strange request. I sincerely wish the staff a change in leadership.
