Surprisingly good! At first I thought it would be a fancy, pretentious place, but once we were seated, we felt very comfortable. The food was delicious and the prices were perfectly reasonable for the quality. We'll definitely be back.

The food is the best Neuburg has to offer. The vegetarian options, in particular, are something you won't find anywhere else between Munich and Berlin. The service and atmosphere are also great. 👍🏽

I've been to Neo Kastro several times now and I can only say positive things. You're always greeted warmly, and you can even get a table without a reservation. The staff, and especially the owner and his girlfriend, are extremely polite and accommodating. I'm a vegetarian and I always find delicious dishes. The food tastes excellent, and the portions are perfectly adequate. I've recommended it many times, and our Christmas party will also be held there on my recommendation. I'll definitely be back! Keep up the good work, and Nico: don't give up, even if the people of Neuburg are tough, you're fantastic, and hats off to your dedication and achievements!

We always enjoy eating here. The service is super friendly and attentive, the food is always delicious, and the portions are generously sized. The gyro is particularly outstanding, as are the many delicious appetizers. The restaurant, with its unique location directly on the Danube, and with a cozy beer garden in the summer, is always a great place to visit.

We were here yesterday for the second time, and the food is truly amazing! As a vegetarian, I especially appreciate the wide selection of delicious vegetarian dishes. As Augustiner enthusiasts, we also think the drinks selection is great. We will definitely be back.

The ambiance is modern and truly beautiful. The service is excellent. And the food is incredibly delicious. The quality is top-notch, everything is fresh. The portions are really generous. And… it tastes like Greece. A farmer's salad, just like in Greece. Cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, feta cheese, and plenty of olives… no dressing, just good olive oil and fresh oregano—that's all a salad like this needs to make you happy. The gyro was tender and truly delicious. The fries were great. And the waiters were all super friendly. If we're ever here again, we'll definitely eat there again.

There's no "typical Greek" in the dishes. Modern, Mediterranean dishes based on Greek dishes, but with a twist. It's tasty, but nothing extraordinary. What's a no-go is making guests wait over half an hour for their main course and only explaining, upon request, that the dish cannot be served at the moment.

Beautifully decorated, very good and friendly service, but the food was unfortunately underwhelming even on the second visit. I've never had tzatziki that tasted so completely useless as it does here. The dishes we ordered didn't really suit our taste either, unfortunately.

My absolute favorite restaurant! What makes me especially happy is that not only is there a huge selection of vegetarian food, but the meat-free alternatives are also extremely tasty. You can tell that someone puts some thought into their food, and doesn't just offer a salad with vegetables! Each dish is more delicious than the next, from the appetizer to the dessert!

The food wasn't actually bad, but the side salad for €6.50 was almost a disgrace - just leaf lettuce, two slices of cucumber and three half cocktail tomatoes - which is out of all proportion.

Great restaurant with fantastic service I arrived very late with my family—it was already after 9:00 PM—and we ordered food right away, and it arrived quickly. Hot food served until 9:30 PM—very delicious, with fantastic, friendly service and a clean restaurant—and my little dog was allowed to come too. I'd love to come back.

The desserts at Neo Kastro are a dream! After a delicious main course, you should definitely leave room for dessert. A sweet end to a perfect evening.

We ordered something for pickup over the weekend. First, the positive: The order was ready on time, and everything from the order was there. The taste was also really great. The big negative was the portions, which were far too small. None of the three of us was even remotely full. At €20 without a drink for a few squid rings, gyros, and a bit of rice, I expect to at least be full. And we're not the kind of people who eat half a pig. Perhaps you'll take this criticism positively and do something about it. We're not the only ones who think so, judging by what we've heard. Regards

We held a party there – everything was perfectly organized, and the guests were thrilled.

It was the first and last time I went to this restaurant. The food was way too small. The liver was tough, and the gyros and suvlaki were too dry. The disabled restroom was so cluttered with all sorts of objects that it was impossible to use the restroom with a disability.

Service was very good, but the food was a huge disappointment. We had a platter for two people, it wasn't presented very well, and worst of all, the meat was cold. We won't be coming back....

My first and definitely last visit to Neo Kastro in Neuburg. The portion was tiny – more suited to small children, but the price was completely exorbitant. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing. We waited in the restaurant for over an hour for our food, without any information or apology. When we wanted to pay, the server allegedly didn't have any change, so we were forced to round up – absolutely unprofessional. Overall, the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in Neuburg. The value for money is completely out of whack here. Unfortunately, I absolutely don't recommend it.

I have to agree with the previous review. I also had the stuffed peppers and was more than disappointed at first glance. Unfortunately, the peppers were not only extremely small, but also not particularly tasty. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is not right here. Addendum: My review has not been addressed at all; they have simply pasted the same text from another review. I neither mentioned tomato sauce nor did I stuff a pepper with minced meat, as I am a vegetarian.

As a vegetarian, I haven't been to a Greek restaurant for years because they have an extremely meat-heavy cuisine. There is a decent selection of vegetarian dishes here at Neo Kastro. I had a breaded feta cheese with pita bread as a starter and a vegetarian gyros with a Metaxa cheese sauce as my main course. Both were very tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly staff - we will definitely come back more often.

Super restaurant. The icing on the cake would be the vegan tzatziki, which is really not difficult to make or find. Otherwise, there are already plenty of vegan options on the menu, so I absolutely adore that. A vegan dressing would also be amazing, but the vinegar and oil were also good. A wonderful evening with the whole family! The child-friendly staff and the varied menu convinced us. Our children loved the Mediterranean specialties and we parents were able to enjoy the evening in a relaxed manner.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the last meal (stuffed peppers). Tiny overcooked peppers drowned in tomato sauce (€17!). After I mentioned it, it was just “passed on” to the kitchen.

Unfortunately there are only 3 stars for the food. The taste was ok but there were more fries and onions on the plate than gyros.

The owner of the restaurant is simply an absolute man of hearts. The service is therefore simply great. The food is impressive in Neuburg, not to mention the atmosphere! It is our absolute favorite restaurant in Neuburg and we can only warmly recommend it! :)

I had dinner at Neo Kastro with my family last Sunday. The restaurant is really beautiful inside. We've been to the beer garden several times in the summer, but we've only ever had something to drink; this was the first time we ate something there. However, it was also very tasty. The young waitresses are all very nice and friendly. Really everything was great, big recommendation 😍

The Neo Kastro impressed us! The atmosphere is like a short vacation in Greece - stylishly furnished and with a fantastic view of the Danube. The food was fresh, authentic and full of flavor. The grilled octopus and the souvlaki are particularly recommended. The service was attentive and friendly. A real highlight in Neuburg!
