Was there with company for my wife's birthday. Location. Only the finest of everything. Gladly again at any time!!

Three of us were in this restaurant today to test it out for a special event. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We ordered a platter for three people that didn't match the price in terms of quality or quantity. The taste was absolutely bland, even the onions tasted empty. The minced meat was bone dry and the rice tasted like tomato paste. An extra request (two slices of liver) could not be taken into account as there are only pre-made portions. After consulting with the kitchen, we could order a normal port liver with it! This list could go on, but we won't bother. The pass area of ​​the kitchen was the meeting place for the entire staff, not just as a place where food was served. We would have better invested this €85 somewhere else! Conclusion: once and never again!

The prices in the entrance area and in the menu at the square do not match. Instead of a gyro plate, I got a plate of fries (1/3 of the previous day) with a little salad, some burnt gyro meat and a good portion of red onions. The most expensive beer in the entire Neuburg area. From my point of view, the most expensive fries with onions had ever been in my life. Service was very good, I was served immediately. I didn't have to wait long for food and drink. I don't go there anymore.

A great ambience to end the evening with your partner or friends with a view of the Danube. The atmosphere and the team ensure that you feel completely comfortable and can enjoy delicious food at a really good price-performance ratio. We'd love to come back.

We visited the restaurant at lunchtime and were very satisfied. The service was excellent: very attentive, friendly and competent young waitress. We enjoyed the food and the dessert (Galaktibouriko) is highly recommended. The price-performance ratio was right.

We ate at neo Kasten with the family today and were very satisfied. The atmosphere right on the Danube is of course beautiful. The food was also very tasty and arrived very quickly. The young staff were excellent and attentive, they asked several times if everything was still OK and if anything else could be brought. Very big recommendation! Of course there was a uozo on the house after the meal 😉

Finally eating Greek again! The selection for vegans is varied and the service is excellent! For starters we ate baked organic vegetables (breading is made from beer and flour), grilled pepperoni, pita and vegan gyros with tomato rice and fries 🫶🏻 We are very happy to have found an alternative for ourselves.

We have eaten at neo Kastro several times so far and have been more than satisfied every time. The food was always ready after just a few minutes and tasted delicious. The waiters also responded to any special requests, which is very nice. The staff at Neo Kastro are generally very friendly and competent. We are always happy to come back, highly recommended. 🤩

We had lunch at Neo Kastro today; before that we were there a few times in the winter. We were always very satisfied. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and you also feel very comfortable in the beer garden. The food was always impeccable and never took long. The staff can only be praised, very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy coming back. A very good Greek restaurant ;)

Food tasted good. Just looking for the meat on the plate at a Greek restaurant isn't great. And it was our first Greek where there was no ouzo.

Unfortunately we waited a very long time for our food - 1.5 hours and unfortunately we were already served! After 45 minutes we said that unfortunately we could no longer have the food we ordered because the ingredients were no longer available. It's a shame, but we won't eat here again.

So we've been there every now and then. The location is nice and pleasant, the service is also nice. But that has nothing to do with being Greek. The first time we thought maybe we just ordered the wrong thing and wanted to try again. But the prices are absolutely exorbitant for the food. And the food is just bland and really not Greek food. Everyone was disappointed and no longer understand the prices. I'm sorry. But just having a drink there in the evening is definitely nice.

Service and ambience great. Eating well. Expensive in terms of price. Great for relaxing with a drink. But I wouldn't order anything for dinner anymore.

If you're looking for a pub atmosphere and prices, you're in the wrong place here. Instead, friendly approach, delicious portions and good Greek meals (food comes hot to the table!). We felt comfortable here

The ambience, service and friendliness of all employees was perfect. Special requests were also realized. Keep it up! The food was very tasty... unfortunately there was too much "roasted flavor" on the pita bread... which unfortunately felt burnt in places. Hence a star deduction. We'll definitely come back anyway.

Neo Kastro is definitely one of the best Greek-Mediterranean restaurants I have ever visited. The food was simply delicious - full of flavors and fresh ingredients. I had the moussaka and it was cooked just perfectly. The starters like tzatziki and olives were also incredibly tasty. The ambience in Neo Kastro is also really great. The decor is modern and stylish, yet cozy and inviting. The service was also very attentive and friendly. Overall, I had a wonderful evening at Neo Kastro and can highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to eating there again next time. See you soon again :)!

Best greek in Neuburg from all I've tried (others are also good, but this one... Wow)

Ambience very good. But unfortunately that was it. Service catastrophic. Waiting times to run away. We thought we wouldn't live to see it again. Waited almost an hour and a half for the main course. Taste ok. Not more. Price performance doesn't fit at all. Goat cheese for 10 euros. I had to look for the cheese. Actually mainly just filled with salad. It doesn't cost anything. Disgusting drinks. Glasses all dirty and dingy. Traces of the last three predecessors on the glass. Unfortunately a disaster.

A very tastefully decorated restaurant, really excellent food (we had the Easter lamb... wonderful) in large quantities and great service, especially the young man from Eritrea was an enrichment for our day. A nice surprise in Neuburg.

My wife, I, and two acquaintances had dinner at "Neo Kastro" last Sunday lunchtime, March 24th, 2024. I can say it was excellent! The food was delicious, clean and appetizingly prepared, the service was very friendly and attentive! The dishes came quickly and nicely in order, so there was hardly any waiting time. The rooms are also very comfortable, spacious and modern. We were here once last summer, but in the outdoor area, which was also very nice. 1 star is because of espresso! Food can't be worse! We ordered Suvlaki and the meat was raw and without salt (none at all!), without spices or anything for any taste! The prices are also extremely high! They don't offer salad with the portion, that costs extra! The tzatziki is tasteless! They bring the water in your bottle open, it's not sure whether it's bought water or tap water! Tastes more like tap water than Adelholzener. Actually, I'm sure it's not purchased water but tap water, but there's no way to prove it. And that with still water is practical in many restaurants. Very rarely do you open the bottle yourself. The waitress was nice until we didn't tip her because I've eaten worse and tasteless food! She says the amount we have to pay and waits before entering it into the device....(For card payment...) Then came faces of displeasure. She says goodbye extremely offended :) I would recommend the espresso and nothing else :) Answer to Neo Kastro: Manipulation with images?!?! Hahaha. I ordered Suvlaki, there is no beef steak in my portion. They're really weird! I saw salt and pepper but there was nothing on her suvlaki! Nothing at all ! No taste. Very nice atmosphere. Food (starters, rump steak Surf&Turf) was really great. Best Galaktoboureko. The waitresses were nice and very quick. We were there after a company event with around 25 people. Perfect process. Everyone was thrilled. I'd love to come back.

Ich muss sagen, dass ich bisher zweimal hier war. Das Ambiente ist mega. Innen sowie außen im Sommer. Jedoch war ich beim zweiten Mal sehr sehr enttäuscht von der Nachspeise. Das Galaktoburiko war eher wie ein Baklawa. Ich habe noch nie eine Speise stehen lassen aber in diesem Fall konnte ich es nicht mehr essen, da ich so enttäuscht war. Die Bedienung ist zuvor auch noch sehr oft her gekommen und hat Witze gerissen und nach der Nachspeise saßen wir bestimmt noch gut zwei stunden und wurden dann nur noch einmal nach weiteren Wünschen/Getränken gefragt. Die drei Sterne erhält es insbesondere wegen der verdammt leckeren Hauptspeise und dem Ambiente.

Beim Neo-Kastro lohnt es sich zu kommen. Wirklich gute Küche, freundliches Personal und hin u. wieder sogar mit griechischer Livemusik. Wir kommen wieder. Gruß Robo u. Moni

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre und gutes Essen, viel Auswahl an Getränke von Alkoholfreien bis Alkoholhaltig. Freundliche Bedienung. Sauberes und einladendes Lokal. Gerne wieder kann man weiterempfehlen auf jeden Fall.

Super Grieche mit wunderschöner Einrichtung

Waren zu viert nach der Arbeit zum Abendessen. Vorspeise ganz hohes Niveau, richtig lecker, schneller freundlicher Service! Getoppt von einem sehr sehr deliziösem Hauptgang! PS.: Das Colaweizen war das i-tüpfelchen!

Modernes Lokal, aber Preis/Leistung passt überhaupt nicht

Direkt an der Donau in Neuburg liegt das griechische Restaurant Neo Kastro. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern und gemütlich. Als Vorspeise entschied ich mich für ein Fischsuppe. Diese war ausgezeichnet und hausgemacht. Die Hauptspeise, Souvlaki vom Schwein, war sehr gut und groß. Neben Fleischgerichten werden Fisch, Salate und Pasta angeboten. Sehr guter Service.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit einem sehr schönes und gemütlichen Ambiente. Der Service ist höfflich und zuvorkommend. Die Bedienung hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Das Essen ist sehr frisch und qualitativ hochwertig. Der Lachs war einfach ein Gedicht. Und selbst für diejenigen unter uns die keinen Knoblauch mögen, gibt es hier Tzaziki ohne Knoblauch. Also wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Die Location ist neu & sehr schön. Der Service gut und aufmerksam, allerdings für meine Geschmack „zu viel“, im Sinne von der überschwänglichen Art. Das Essen war okay, in meinen Augen aber zu teuer. Das zaziki war wohl das schlechteste das ich je gegessen hab, leider schmeckte es nur nach Joghurt und Gurken. Eine Nachbestellung davon wird mit 5,20 Euro berechnet. Rundum für mich einfach zu teuer & nicht gut genug. Ich bleibe dann bei meinen bekannten Restaurants.
