We had a fantastic evening at Neo Kastro. The mixed starter plate was to die for, and the main courses – moussaka and gyros – were perfectly prepared. The service was quick, friendly and always had a smile on her face. The price-performance ratio was also great. We'll definitely be back.

I had dinner at Neo Kastro with my family last Sunday. The restaurant is really beautiful inside. We've been to the beer garden several times in the summer, but we've only ever had something to drink; this was the first time we ate something there. However, it was also very tasty. The young waitresses are all very nice and friendly. Really everything was great, big recommendation 😍

The Neo Kastro impresses with a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. The beer garden is a highlight, especially on warm summer evenings. The service is always friendly and attentive, you feel like you are in good hands as a guest. What I particularly like is the creativity of the kitchen. There are always new dishes or exciting variations on classics that show that the work here is done with passion and inventiveness. For me, it's a place you'd like to visit more often.

I love to be in the Neo very often. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is super accommodating. Everything I've eaten so far has been very good. My team and I celebrated our Christmas party here and everything was great there too. That's why 5 out of 5 stars for me. Absolutely deserved.

What makes this restaurant even more special are the people who work there. The staff are incredibly nice, attentive and really warm. It almost feels like a second home. And as a little extra, there is often an ouzo on the house, which makes the visit even more of a special experience. 🥰 In short: If you are in Neuburg, you should definitely stop by. It's an absolute insider tip, especially in summer! If you're looking for the combination of delicious food, an Aperol tower and a beautiful beer garden right on the Danube, you've come to the right place! 😌

It has become my favorite Greek restaurant, the food, drinks and service are great. I can't understand some of the bad reviews, but tastes differ. We always enjoy coming back.

The Neo Kastro impressed us! The atmosphere is like a short vacation in Greece - stylishly furnished and with a fantastic view of the Danube. The food was fresh, authentic and full of flavor. The grilled octopus and the souvlaki are particularly recommended. The service was attentive and friendly. A real highlight in Neuburg!

I love this place! There are not only classic gyros, but also gyros and other delicacies for vegetarians. (I recommend Gyros Metaxa!) The staff also seems familiar and very nice. Atmosphere is also great, cozy in winter and refreshing in summer. I will come again and again!!

The food is usually perfect and tastes good. The service friendly and attentive. The vegetarian menu could be a little more extensive. And there is a need for improvement in the toilets; they should also be larger for the size of the restaurant. However, my only deduction comes from the prices. These are at a very high level, but this is not reflected in the dishes.

I have never eaten such bad gyros that were boiled and not grilled. Calamari with black grill stripes just tasted fried and bitter. Coleslaw was also way too sour. It's a shame that was the first and last visit with you.

The food was actually delicious, but shortly afterwards my husband and I had such severe diarrhea and stomach ache that we had to keep it moderate on the way home. We also ate different things... probably the hygiene wasn't there... it's a shame. A nice birthday didn't end well

I've been to Neo Kastro several times now and I can only report positive things. You will receive a friendly welcome at all times, and you will be able to get a seat even without a reservation. The staff and especially the owner and his girlfriend are extremely polite and accommodating. I am a vegetarian and always find delicious dishes. The food tastes excellent, the portions are completely sufficient. I have recommended it many times and our Christmas party is being held there based on my recommendation. I'd love to come back! Keep it up and Nico: don't give up, even if the Neuburgers are difficult, you're great and shout out to your commitment and performance! Greetings go out to Giesing and Moop Mama 😉

For the second time, the calamari was far too tough, and the portions are rather manageable for the price; with a salad that costs €18, you don't even get bread with it. We tried the restaurant twice, that was also the last time.

We had a dish with gyros. Unfortunately that didn't convince me. It was quite dry in terms of meat and overall. The fries that came with it weren't great either. The restaurant itself and the service, however, were 1a.

The food was great. The service is priceless... authentic, well organized and very friendly. The only deduction is in the toilets, unfortunately I've noticed several times that they should be cleaned more often. I will still visit this restaurant again and again..

Three of us were in this restaurant today to test it out for a special event. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We ordered a platter for three people that didn't match the price in terms of quality or quantity. The taste was absolutely bland, even the onions tasted empty. The minced meat was bone dry and the rice tasted like tomato paste. An extra request (two slices of liver) could not be taken into account as there are only pre-made portions. After consulting with the kitchen, we could order a normal port liver with it! This list could go on, but we won't bother. The pass area of ​​the kitchen was the meeting place for the entire staff, not just as a place where food was served. We would have better invested this €85 somewhere else! Conclusion: once and never again!

The prices in the entrance area and in the menu at the square do not match. Instead of a gyro plate, I got a plate of fries (1/3 of the previous day) with a little salad, some burnt gyro meat and a good portion of red onions. The most expensive beer in the entire Neuburg area. From my point of view, the most expensive fries with onions had ever been in my life. Service was very good, I was served immediately. I didn't have to wait long for food and drink. I don't go there anymore.

We visited the restaurant at lunchtime and were very satisfied. The service was excellent: very attentive, friendly and competent young waitress. We enjoyed the food and the dessert (Galaktibouriko) is highly recommended. The price-performance ratio was right.

We ate at neo Kasten with the family today and were very satisfied. The atmosphere right on the Danube is of course beautiful. The food was also very tasty and arrived very quickly. The young staff were excellent and attentive, they asked several times if everything was still OK and if anything else could be brought. Very big recommendation! Of course there was a uozo on the house after the meal 😉

Finally eating Greek again! The selection for vegans is varied and the service is excellent! For starters we ate baked organic vegetables (breading is made from beer and flour), grilled pepperoni, pita and vegan gyros with tomato rice and fries 🫶🏻 We are very happy to have found an alternative for ourselves.

Food tasted good. Just looking for the meat on the plate at a Greek restaurant isn't great. And it was our first Greek where there was no ouzo.

Unfortunately we waited a very long time for our food - 1.5 hours and unfortunately we were already served! After 45 minutes we said that unfortunately we could no longer have the food we ordered because the ingredients were no longer available. It's a shame, but we won't eat here again.

So we've been there every now and then. The location is nice and pleasant, the service is also nice. But that has nothing to do with being Greek. The first time we thought maybe we just ordered the wrong thing and wanted to try again. But the prices are absolutely exorbitant for the food. And the food is just bland and really not Greek food. Everyone was disappointed and no longer understand the prices. I'm sorry. But just having a drink there in the evening is definitely nice.

If you're looking for a pub atmosphere and prices, you're in the wrong place here. Instead, friendly approach, delicious portions and good Greek meals (food comes hot to the table!). We felt comfortable here

Neo Kastro is definitely one of the best Greek-Mediterranean restaurants I have ever visited. The food was simply delicious - full of flavors and fresh ingredients. I had the moussaka and it was cooked just perfectly. The starters like tzatziki and olives were also incredibly tasty. The ambience in Neo Kastro is also really great. The decor is modern and stylish, yet cozy and inviting. The service was also very attentive and friendly. Overall, I had a wonderful evening at Neo Kastro and can highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to eating there again next time. See you soon again :)!

Ambience very good. But unfortunately that was it. Service catastrophic. Waiting times to run away. We thought we wouldn't live to see it again. Waited almost an hour and a half for the main course. Taste ok. Not more. Price performance doesn't fit at all. Goat cheese for 10 euros. I had to look for the cheese. Actually mainly just filled with salad. It doesn't cost anything. Disgusting drinks. Glasses all dirty and dingy. Traces of the last three predecessors on the glass. Unfortunately a disaster.

A very tastefully decorated restaurant, really excellent food (we had the Easter lamb... wonderful) in large quantities and great service, especially the young man from Eritrea was an enrichment for our day. A nice surprise in Neuburg.

My wife, I, and two acquaintances had dinner at "Neo Kastro" last Sunday lunchtime, March 24th, 2024. I can say it was excellent! The food was delicious, clean and appetizingly prepared, the service was very friendly and attentive! The dishes came quickly and nicely in order, so there was hardly any waiting time. The rooms are also very comfortable, spacious and modern. We were here once last summer, but in the outdoor area, which was also very nice. 1 star is because of espresso! Food can't be worse! We ordered Suvlaki and the meat was raw and without salt (none at all!), without spices or anything for any taste! The prices are also extremely high! They don't offer salad with the portion, that costs extra! The tzatziki is tasteless! They bring the water in your bottle open, it's not sure whether it's bought water or tap water! Tastes more like tap water than Adelholzener. Actually, I'm sure it's not purchased water but tap water, but there's no way to prove it. And that with still water is practical in many restaurants. Very rarely do you open the bottle yourself. The waitress was nice until we didn't tip her because I've eaten worse and tasteless food! She says the amount we have to pay and waits before entering it into the device....(For card payment...) Then came faces of displeasure. She says goodbye extremely offended :) I would recommend the espresso and nothing else :) Answer to Neo Kastro: Manipulation with images?!?! Hahaha. I ordered Suvlaki, there is no beef steak in my portion. They're really weird! I saw salt and pepper but there was nothing on her suvlaki! Nothing at all ! No taste.
