Four of us were at the Bootshaus in Neuburg, and what was supposed to be a pleasant visit unfortunately turned into an experience we can't recommend to anyone. We ordered three Aperols and a Kaiserschmarrn. The drinks arrived, but after more than an hour, the Kaiserschmarrn was nowhere to be seen. Only after asking were we told that the order had "gone under." We then clearly stated that we didn't want it anymore, and were assured that it would be removed from the bill. From that point on, things got even more absurd: We asked for the bill. Instead, the two waiters walked past us several times, pointedly ignoring us, and preferred to sit at the counter and chat. After about 15 minutes, the Kaiserschmarrn suddenly appeared, completely inconveniently. We explained again that we had canceled it. Again, just a shrug, "I'll have to check with my colleague, just a minute." When we finally decided to go inside to pay, the two ladies were still sitting at the counter, chatting. My clear "We want to pay!" was met with a snide, almost mocking "Oh, so you want to pay?!" Seriously?! The distance from the counter to the table isn't so long that after two meters, you forget what you were just discussing with the guests. In what restaurant is it surprising when guests finally want to pay after almost two hours? Do they not speak the language, or are they hard of hearing? After that, the other waitress didn't even know where we were sitting or what we had ordered. The restaurant wasn't even particularly busy, so there are no excuses. Instead of hospitality and service, we experienced ignorance and a completely chaotic atmosphere. You almost get the impression that they're pretending to listen, but somehow lack understanding or implementation. Conclusion: • Order lost • Communication nonexistent • Service a complete disaster • Guests ignored instead of being looked after This is no way to treat paying guests. Anyone who values ​​service and respect should avoid the Bootshaus Neuburg.

Terrible, unfriendly, and rude service. The food is far too expensive for what isn't even mediocre taste. In the future, we'll opt for less of a view and dine somewhere where you can still get friendliness and quality for less money.

The boathouse is located right next to the Danube...a lovely place to linger...the food was delicious and the value for money was good...

We sat in the beer garden overlooking the Danube in beautiful weather. The salads are large and very good. The young staff is very friendly and works hard, but you should allow some time if the place is busy.

Service was quick when taking my order, and the drinks arrived fairly quickly, but after waiting for an hour for a side salad and a currywurst with fries, I suggested paying for the drinks and leaving. Just then, of all times, I was told the food or snack would be coming shortly. So we waited, and the food finally arrived. They should have just said that the chef isn't a professional, then they would have been understanding, but nothing. People, how good is this rating supposed to be? Yes, of course, these days there are very few people who offer food and drink service and are also able to work and serve us on weekends. So, despite all that, THANK YOU.

Summary: Top-notch service, terrible food. Food Cordon Bleu: Tasted okay, but clearly frozen. Fries were okay. Side salad: Raw salad with a hint of balsamic vinegar, that's it. Extra sour cream: A truly disgusting pre-made dressing. Main salad: Basic lamb's lettuce, dry. About 10 slices of cucumber and tomato, also dry. Walnuts straight from the packet, with buffalo mozzarella in the middle. The only "dressing" was balsamic vinegar. No salt, no pepper, no oil, no spices. Nothing. A 5 mm thin pita for €3.60. Drinks Decent, but overall rather expensive. Service The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Reservations Not possible by phone. Called the provided cell phone number – no answer. Atmosphere Nice, but they should be a bit more attentive, e.g. B. when watering the plants. Conclusion There's potential (service, ambiance), but the kitchen urgently needs to improve: fresher presentation, decent dressings, no ready-made sauces. Overall, the price-performance ratio is poor. Currently, I wouldn't recommend the food.

My wife wanted to try a wheat beer with cola for the first time in ages, but unfortunately, things went wrong. A young waitress brought a regular wheat beer. When asked about the wrong drink, she reluctantly took the wheat beer and brought a wheat beer glass that was about three-quarters full with a wheat beer and cola mixture. Good service doesn't work.

Even though there were no other customers there, the currywurst and baked feta cheese took an hour to cook (due to a broken deep fryer). The food was also cold. Including three beers, it was €38 with tip. It's a shame, the place has potential. Service was friendly and pleasant, though.

The appetizer was unseasoned. Practiced carelessly. Long wait.

I made an online reservation for four people on July 4th. I received an email confirmation right away. Now I get a call on July 9th saying my reservation is being canceled because they received a request for a large group two or three days ago. I don't call that kind of friendly or helpful customer service.

If the aggressive family members didn't work there, the store would have gotten its 4-5 stars, but they would be happy to continue this behavior in Kosovo, but this has no place in Germany 👎🏽

A great atmosphere, perfect if you want a drink and want to wind down the evening. We were disappointed with the food, though. Unfortunately, the frozen patty in the burger and the lackluster sausage salad... There's definitely room for improvement!

I've rarely had so little food for so much money. The presentation was rather carelessly. Service was okay. Unfortunately, sunshine is in short supply there. But of course, there's nothing you can do about it.

Great location with a view of the Danube. 😍 The Boathouse Tower is highly recommended for groups and for a comfortable start to the (working) day or the weekend. When it came to drinks, we had a free choice from the available spritz drinks on the menu. 🍷 Add a delicious dinner and the evening is perfect ✨

We were in the boathouse for the second time today. The first time for Easter brunch. This was recommended. So we decided to visit the Mother's Day brunch offered today. When we arrived shortly after 10 a.m., the buffet was half empty and unfortunately not refilled. We can also eat cheap cold cuts and cooked ham at home. Very unfortunate.

Unfortunately, this was our worst experience in Neuburg. Nice location but a salad with shrimps for 15.80 consisting of iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, cucumbers and frozen shrimps... well... then we waited almost an hour for the food, without an apology etc. So we won't be coming back. Good luck with your concept...

We went to Mother's Day brunch today and were very disappointed. There were 3 types of salami, two types of ham, butter, jam, Nutella... Just a small breakfast for which you would pay 7 to 12 euros in a hotel. Only Viennese and white sausages were served warm. No white sausage mustard but only medium hot mustard. I then quickly went to a gas station and bought the right mustard. When I was there (at 10:30 - it was supposed to be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), the sausages were already out. Antopasti plates were also written about. There was only pepperoni with cream cheese and olives. When I complained, they at least made me scrambled eggs. Anyway. Everyone was friendly, so there are two stars despite the catastrophic rest. Then to the toilets: There was no soap, and when our son went to the toilet, he came back without cleaning himself because there was no toilet paper left in the men's toilet. He then had to go to the ladies' room with Grandma. These are conditions that I cannot understand. Overall, the price of just over 20 euros was borderline for what was on offer. At least there were soft drinks. But then you would have just had to write breakfast and not brunch. That wasn't it in any case. To be honest, I can't understand how you can offer something like this as a brunch on Mother's Day. This is precisely where you have the chance to win new customers, because many might come because most of the places are fully booked. In any case, you'll never see us here again.

Service left a lot to be desired, service only came when asked, long waiting time for the food we ordered: nuggets dripping with fat, salad without dressing with cold strips of meat for an overpriced price, fries undercooked... inedible.

The quality of the ingredients was clear to us from the first dish. The food is spectacular and even though we arrived a little late we were allowed to stay. The atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff are excellent, very warm, helpful and efficient. I would definitely like to organize an event at one of their restaurants. The expense was worth it as we spent a lot of time from the meal to the coffee cake.

Nice beer garden, nice staff (when it got colder, we were immediately offered blankets), the food we had (grilled vegetables, cevapcici plates and chicken nuggets for kids) was very good, but in my opinion a little too expensive, but one star less. Since we had to wait an hour for the food even though there wasn't much going on, we deducted one point for the service.

We have been to this restaurant several times. The positive first: the great location on the Danube with a view of the castle is simply beautiful. We sat outside in the first rays of sunshine of the year. That was fun. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, for one dish we received a side dish that did not correspond to the menu (fried potatoes instead of rosemary potatoes). A pity. As a small compensation we were given an espresso. What should be changed quickly are the portion sizes. Unfortunately, they are so small that we didn't get anywhere near full, despite a bill of over 50 euros including 3 drinks.

I just walked there by chance and apparently it just reopened on February 22nd. 2024 if I read correctly. Looks nice and is definitely worth a visit every summer. Unfortunately I didn't have time otherwise I would have looked at it straight away. Today is not every day, I'll be back, no question, Paul would say. Speaking of which, there is a camping site hidden behind it (not the parking space opposite in the picture) which is supposed to open from May 1st and probably belongs to the local rowing club. I just wanted to mention it.

Wir waren letzte Woche das erste mal im Bootshaus in Neuburg. Ein guter Freund von uns hat dort seinen 40. Geburtstag gefeiert und die Location sogar gemietet. Wir waren also nur komplett für uns. Das Essen war wirklich mega lecker, und wir mussten nicht lange darauf warten. Die Bedienungen waren echt sehr sehr freundlich und Sonderwünsche waren überhaupt kein Problem. Wir hatten dann noch ein Spiel vorbereitet für unseren Freund, auch da wurden wir mit Musik und Mikrofon unterstützt, und es hat super zur Einlage gepasst. Danke für diesen sehr schönen Abend. :)

Sehr schöner Biergarten in Neuburg an der Donau, unweit vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Vielfalt der Gerichte ist erstaunlich, die Auswahl der Getränke lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Hier kann man sehr gut essen und einige Stunden in schöner Atmosphäre verweilen.

Leider gab es weder Kaffee noch Kuchen obwohl in der Karte aufgeführt. Somit für einen Sonntagskaffee nicht geeignet. Bei uns war die Enttäuschung und Verwunderung groß. Tja, weiterradeln und woanders Kaffee und Kuchen genießen...

Ein schöner Biergarten an der Donau, aber Sauberkeit, z.B.der Tische und der Gläser lassen zu Wünschen übrig ... dazu die überwiegend viel zu stark frittierten Speisen entsprachen nicht unseren Vorstellungen.

Netter Biergarten mit schönem Blick auf die Donau/Stadt. Leider gibt's kein Russ mit Zitronensaft sondern nur die Variante mit einer Limo (Sprite).

Das Essen war sehr gut, noch dazu angemessene Preise! War alles lecker! Das Salat war auch frisch! Hat zwar etwas gedauert, aber in einen sehr guten Lokal muss man damit Rechnen! Ich war sehr zufrieden! Und für solche Bedienung ist das Trinkgeld nicht zu Schade

Es giebt hir leckere sachen zur Auswahl es schmeckt sehr lecker alles sind sehr freundlich es giebt ein guten Service und eine schöne Aussicht und gute sitz gelegenheit und zur Entspannung giebt es hir tolle musik das essen schmeckt so wie es auch aussieht also lecker es wäre eine gute Empfehlung zum essen oder zum ausgehen es ist nicht zu teuer top preise :) 1A

Waren heute mit drei Kinder und zwei Erwachsenen im lokal. Service ist sehr unsortiert. Wir mussten 1 Stunden aufs Essen warten. Andere wo nach uns bestellten bekamen das Essen früher. Sauberkeit der Tische lässt auch zu wünschen übrig Tolle Aussicht auf neuburg.

Ich habe dort das beste Hähnchensteak meines Lebens gegessen! Was jedoch gar nicht ging, war die weibliche Bedienung, die sichtlich genervt war. Eventuell war das dem Schlossfest geschuldet, was aber kein Grund ist, so herum zu laufen, dass man sie am liebsten nicht mehr ansprechen möchte. Ihre Kollegen haben es schließlich auch geschafft, trotz der Stresssituation super freundlich zu bleiben. An den Mitarbeiter am Ausschank: Ganz herzlichen Dank für die Flasche Wasser. Ohne Wenn und Aber. Erklärung dazu: Ich habe eine Frau entdeckt, die zusammen geklappt ist und wollte ihr ein Glas Leitungswasser besorgen. Der Mitarbeiter hat sofort reagiert und mir eine Flasche Wasser mitgegeben. Großes Danke!

Location Schön an der Donau am Radweg gelegen. Wunderschöne Aussicht auf Fluss und Stadt. Daneben eine große Wiese, wo man die Kids toben lassen kann. Hauptthema ist der Biergarten, innen gibt es auch ein paar Sitzplätze. Dauerhaft Hintergrundmusik aus Lautsprechern, manchmal einen Tick zu laut. Schönes Ambiente, das Thema Bootshaus zieht sich durch die Accessoires. Essen & Getränke Reichliche Getränkeauswahl für Jeden was dabei. Speisekarte mit Fingerfood und auch Burger. Die Cocktails waren top, Burger sahen gut aus, wir hatten aber lediglich Chips überbacken mit Salsa. Preislich in Ordnung aber nicht ausgewiesen günstig. Kids Kleiner Sandkasten im Hausbootstil mit Spielzeug Service Bei unserem Besuch zwar nett aber echt langsam. Nach den Getränken passierte trotz Ansage lange nichts und das Essen will ja auch noch zubereitet werden. Teilweise unnütze Gänge (mit Tablett raus und leer wieder rein ohne eine Bestellung aufzunehmen, dafür aber dann leer raus, Bestellung aufgenommen und leer wieder rein) Fazit Es hat gefallen, wir hatten Zeit aber die Wartezeit war echt zu lange aber wir kommen gerne wieder.

Alles perfekt, Essen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch okay. Ambiente 6 Sterne :)

Schön ist der große Biergarten und die Aussicht auf Stadt und Fluss. Die Mädels im Service sind sehr bemüht und nach Wartezeit bekamen wir unsere Speisen über Salate, Grillteller, Burger, Fisch und veganes Essen. Die Gerichte waren in Summe ganz gut gemacht, Portionsgrößen und Preis passen so nicht ganz zusammen. Trotzdem ein netter Ort um mal ein Bier zu trinken.

Super schöne und gemütliche Bar direkt an der Donau, keine Straßen, keine Autos, sondern einfach nur die umliegende Natur und den tollen Blick auf das Neuburger Schloss genießen! :)

Sehr Schönes kleines Restaurant mit sehr schöner Atmosphäre und übersichtlicher Speisekarte. Die Preise sind in Ordnung und die Qualität ist super. Der Service ist schnell, sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Ob nachmittags mit der Familie oder Abends mit Freunden, man kommt immer wieder gerne dort hin.

Ein Stern Abzug da wir ewig auf die Bedienung warten mussten. Essen absolut empfehlenswert.

Bei einer spontanen Radtour von Ingolstadt nach Neuburg kam ich zufällig dort vorbei. Der lauschige, teils überdachte, Biergarten lud mich sofort auf ein kühles Getränk ein. Die Speisekarte hält für jeden Ernährungstyp sehr leckere und frisch zubereitete Speisen bereit. Auch auf der Getränkekarte wird jeder mit Sicherheit seinem Geschmack entsprechend fündig. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, so macht die Einkehr dort Spaß. Sehr wichtig für mich ist der Zustand der Toiletten. Diese sind zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen und könnten etwas aufgepeppt werden jedoch sind sie sauber (was ja die Hauptsache ist). Insgesamt sind der Innen- und Außenbereich sehr ansprechend, dem Namen würdig, gestaltet und auch die flotte Musik ist nicht zu laut sodass man sich sehr gut auch unterhalten kann ohne "schreien" zu müssen. Ich war rundum sehr zufrieden und werde nun wohl öfter, zur Belohnung, einen Boxenstopp auf meinen Radtouren dort machen. :-)

Sehr gute Burger in wunderschönen Ambiente. Zu späterer Stunde ist es auch ein schöner Ort zum Cocktails trinken. Es läuft die ganze Zeit Musik im Hintergrund, was ich sehr entspannend fand.

Bedienung platzierte uns, brachte erst nach Aufforderung Speisekarten (20 Minuten). In Getränken Plastikstrohhalme, zulässig? Geschirr schön. Karte unübersichtlich. "Sexy Chips" , was soll das sein? Begleitung mit Kids Burger zufrieden. Kein Gastrogenuss. Eine Serverin für Biergarten und innen, tat mir herzlich leid. Daher 2 , statt 1 Stern.

Leicht skurilles "Robinson" - Ambiente. Eine ruhige Oase, wenn nicht gerade einige Kleinkinder mit ihren Plastikfahrzeugen und auch sonst gewaltigen Lärm verursachen. Aber wen stört das schon? Keine Kuchenauswahl, dafür viele Getränke. Lockere entspannte Atmosphäre.

Dieser Location ist echt sehr schön! Tolle Atmosphäre, und das Essen ist auch nicht schlecht. Wir waren heute zum 2. mal dort und die Kellnerin die uns bedient hat war richtig unfreundlich und hat die Bestellung auch nicht richtig aufgenommen. Wir hatten auch eine kleine Auseinandersetzung. Man sollte echt aufpassen, wen man einstellt in so einer Branche.

Leckeres Essen, gute Cocktails und freundliche Bedienung! Der Sandkasten im Biergarten und die Kinderstühle ermöglichen auch Eltern ein entspanntes Essen.
