I celebrated my 70th birthday at Restaurant Musics, and it was the best birthday party I've ever had. Beforehand, I discussed everything with the restaurant manager, Mr. Lucian Tutelea, who proved to be very competent and incredibly friendly, and whose creative ideas fulfilled all my wishes. The head chef, Mr. Peter Sommer, also helped me a lot with the menu planning. The food was delicious and of very high quality, the tables were beautifully set, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I and all 20 of my guests were extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant. Many thanks to the entire team.

It wasn't just a treat for the taste buds; everything was also beautifully decorated and presented. The service staff was incredibly efficient, friendly, and helpful. We got a really special glimpse into the professional work in the kitchen. You can watch the kitchen staff at work, ask questions, and even make special requests, which are then prepared right away. All in all, it wasn't just a delicious meal, but a wonderful experience for the whole family. We'll definitely be back. A huge compliment to the chef and his motivated team!

On October 18, 2025, I visited the Bierlulinarium at the musics restaurant in Kempten. This time, Mr. Herbert Zötler from the Zötler Brewery accompanied the special evening as beer sommelier. The food was truly delicious and, in combination with the selected beers, simply delicious! The entire service staff was very attentive and courteous. You feel truly at home as a guest. Rating: A - highly recommended!

We've been going to Musics regularly for a while now. Sometimes just for a drink, and more often for a meal. I like the well-maintained, upscale decor and the good food. Above all, the excellent service staff stands out with their well-groomed and uniform attire. They're very polite and knowledgeable. You can tell they've either learned their trade or are currently learning it. That's not a given in the restaurant industry these days, and that's why we love Musics. Stay true to your concept, and we'll stay true to you, too. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

We received a very warm welcome! The food: A poem that needs no words! Big praise to the kitchen!!! Even my "special" requests as a vegetarian were met impeccably! They immediately asked the kitchen what ingredients were in the food, so I could enjoy it without any problems! The service was exemplary; that's what you'd expect when you visit an upscale restaurant! Unfortunately, we didn't get the name of the woman who served us; but we think the chef could certainly check who served us! It was 5 p.m., and the woman had blonde hair tied back in a ponytail! Absolutely outstanding service from her! 10 stars, not 5...

The food and service are top-notch. The ambiance isn't my personal favorite.

We took the cocktail class at the bar and were very disappointed. The bartender explained a few basics far too quickly, served us one drink after another, and gave us the impression that he didn't really want to answer any questions. Luckily, at the end, we were allowed to make a single cocktail ourselves. We think this program should have been communicated better in advance, as we expected to be able to make more ourselves. The bartender also made some difficult comments, including that he was glad at least one man was present, that he would have added a few date rape drops to the women's drinks so we wouldn't be so loud, that he called my girlfriend a mouse when she asked a question, etc. That was completely unacceptable! All in all, we expected more.

On this and my other visits to musics, I was able to enjoy some of the fine delicacies. Very fine cuisine. For example, I had the Allgäu pasture-fed beef rump steak, but also the salads as a main course. Short wait times and large portions, to boot.

A perfect stay for "Disney in Concert" – we'd go back anytime! We stayed at the hotel to attend the "Disney in Concert" concert in the Big Box – and our stay was a complete success from start to finish! In the evening, we ate at the hotel's restaurant and were delighted: The food was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented, and the service was attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive – just right for a relaxing evening before the concert. After the event, we rounded off the evening in the hotel bar. The atmosphere was cozy, the cocktail selection was diverse, and what we tried was truly delicious! Conclusion: A highly recommended hotel and restaurant with great service, good food, delicious cocktails, and a friendly atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

Very friendly and attentive service from a young employee. The food would have been worthy of 4 stars overall, except that the boiled beef soup had been more robust and flavorful; that was ridiculous. In contrast, the curry bowl was very finely balanced, with a subtle, slightly sweet curry flavor. The rosé and the red wine by the glass were very well-matched and balanced. The ambiance is very pleasant. The stressed-out restaurant manager, who "rushes by" to ask if everything is okay, isn't a bother. ;-)

We went there for lunch. Exceptional value for money. The young lady who served us deserves special praise... perhaps a trainee...? Truly very accommodating and friendly.

We were there for breakfast and everything was perfect. We also go to musics for lunch every now and then; it's very tasty. For us, the price-performance ratio is good. A different lunch menu every day. You can choose between a quick and a business lunch. We were there in the evening too and had, among other things, the Dreiklang. It was also delicious.

Unfortunately, the food took a long time to arrive. Everything else is great.

Absolutely not!! I booked a table for my birthday and was told specifically. But it seems unnecessary to congratulate anyone. It was extremely cold, heating at - degrees would be asking too much. The food wasn't ready, it wasn't homemade, it didn't taste good at all. The waiters always took my cutlery from the table and I never got any back. I always had to beg for cutlery. Apparently you have to eat with your fingers here 🤦‍♀️ It was never announced when the buffet changed or when you could pick up food. The waiters were very annoyed and were very rude. It's a shame that I threw my money out the window here. I will never set foot in here again.

This restaurant is absolutely recommended. We didn't have a reservation but the staff was great!! 2 tables pulled apart so we don't have to eat at the bar. The food was very good. There was only too much radiccio in the tomato salad. This made the salad a bit bitter. But otherwise absolutely worth 5 stars. At breakfast I noticed something that wasn't so great. The rags for wiping the table were positioned within sight of the guest. On an elevated shelf. Unfortunately it is not possible to post a picture. I kept looking at it and got the impression that all the tables were wiped with a cloth that never saw fresh water. I didn't deduct any points because I didn't know whether it belonged to the hotel or the restaurant. But that doesn't work at all.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary there. They reserved a special table for us and lovingly set it.

Craziness. We reserved a table for dinner before our musical visit. We were more than positively surprised. From start to finish we were not disappointed. The service was great, we never had to wait long. The food was a dream, I haven't eaten something so incredibly tasty in a long time. The ambience is simply fantastic. And at more than fair prices. I would make the long journey again at any time just to eat there. ♥️

I had a great stay at the Hotel BigBox in Kempten! The food was excellent - both breakfast and dinner were of the highest quality. The service was excellent, the staff extremely friendly, courteous and always helpful. The beds were incredibly comfortable, I have rarely slept so well! Additionally, the entire hotel, including my room, was spotlessly clean. I'd love to come back!

We were in the BigBox Allgäu again. A must for us is to have breakfast at the Musics restaurant. The buffet is with its extensive selection, e.g. E.g. different types of coffee, muesli, various (Allgäu) sausages and cheeses, salmon, sweet pieces etc. really great. The service staff is attentive and very friendly - but not intrusive. At 23.00 euros, the price for breakfast is completely fair. There are no long waiting times at the buffet itself and there are always enough seats available... We also recommend the beautifully selected and mixed cocktails that we treat ourselves to in the evenings.

We wanted to have a cocktail or two tonight. When we asked after 40 minutes when our order would arrive, we were told the bar wouldn't be there. When an hour had already passed, we asked again and got the same answer. Our neighboring tables already received the second round. I went to the bar, where a waiter very rudely sent me away. So we left after a long wait. Too bad.

A pearl. I have rarely been so surprised. Positively surprised. The Michelin Guide should actually award a BibGourmand here. But the restaurant belongs to a (really highly recommended) business hotel and there is nothing like that. Great regional cuisine. A perfect team in service. Knowledgeable. Unobtrusive. Always there when you feel a need. Everyone in the team could also work at the 4 Seasons in Hamburg or another grand hotel. But the bar shoots the bird. Perfect espresso from an excellently set-up portafilter machine. A fantastic selection of brandies, gin, rum, single malt. Perfectly prepared cocktails. We bow and - like the Hamburg band Selig rocks: We will see each other again.

We were there for the piano dinner and were completely thrilled by the friendly service, as well as the food that looked and tasted wonderful and the clean ambience. The tartar was the best in my life! My daughter's steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and of very good quality. The tenderness and taste were fantastic. Only the piano player often misplayed the keys.

Wir waren zum Pianodinner da und waren restlos begeistert vom freundlichen Service, sowie dem optisch und geschmacklich herrlichen Essen und dem sauberen Ambiente. Der Tartar war der beste in meinem Leben! Das Steak meiner Tochter war perfekt medium gebraten und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Zartheit und der Geschmack waren traumhaft. Nur der Klavierspieler hat sich oft in den Tasten vergriffen.

Easter brunch at music. We recommend!

We went to musics for the first time today to see if we would be celebrating a bigger birthday there. We had the ox cheeks, a third of the meat was completely starved, the Schupfnudeln couldn't have been thicker. I showed the server the meat and she said it was just one "small" piece has been presented in a very unfriendly manner. A third of the meat being inedible is more than annoying, especially since the prices are not low. I was a self-employed restaurateur for over ten years and that's a no go, a nice gesture (coffee, schnapps, dessert, etc.) would have been absolutely appropriate. Sorry, we won't be celebrating our birthday there and we definitely won't be able to recommend it to friends.

Disappointment. We booked a table in advance for a family dinner in honor of our anniversary. It’s a person’s birthday, and it means coming to a beautiful place with your family and having a delicious and cozy meal. As a result: wilted flowers on the table, the order could only be accepted on the third attempt, the waitress should be more friendly. While we were waiting for our order, we noticed some dirt. The restaurant is dirty! Summary: the food did not improve the overall impression and mood. It’s simply shameful to provide such a service for such a lot of money.

Sad for a hotel restaurant. We waited over 1 hour for our food. Burger was ok. The curry was really bad (fat eyes were floating on the sauce, prawns were only lukewarm) and for the onion roast the cook (cook???) fried a piece of veal instead of beef. Upon request, this was corrected and a new (very good) piece of meat was brought. The waitresses were very grumpy and not very motivated. Mistakes can happen. What annoys me so much is that we had to fight for a schnapps as “compensation”. What kind of error culture is this? We will never eat there again. This could really have been avoided by being more accommodating.

Ich war am Samstag mit meiner Frau im Musics Kempten zur Steaktime und unsere Vorfreude war groß. Wir hatten extra Karten reserviert und waren von Beginn an beeindruckt von der Bedienung und dem Ambiente. Auch die Nachspeise war ein Highlight. Doch leider wurde unser Abend durch das teuerste Steak auf der Karte, dem Hanging Tender, getrübt. Trotz des hohen Preises war das Steak für uns beide ungenießbar - zäh wie Leder und kaum zu kauen. Als wir dies ansprachen, wurde uns lediglich mitgeteilt, dass es so gehört. Für uns - als Steakkenner und Liebhaber - war das keine zufriedenstellende Antwort, vor allem, da wir den vollen Preis zahlen mussten. Es ist schade, dass ein solches Erlebnis unseren ansonsten positiven Eindruck trübt. Wir werden wohl nicht wieder kommen und zukünftig auch mehr auf unsere Recht beharren. Somit immerhin etwas für de Zukunft gelernt.

Gutes, preislich gehobenes Restaurant in Kempten. Die gut bestückte Bar ist zwar noch da, doch wurde leider die gemütliche Bar-Ecke mit Restaurant Tischen und Bestuhlung erweitert. Zwar verständlich um die Restaurant Kapazität zu erhöhen aber dennoch etwas schade.

Wir saßen im Außenbereich, der nett gestaltet ist. Der Service war sehr gut, das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Wir waren zum Essen zum Hochzeitstag dort. Ich hatte bei der Reservierung angefragt, ob festlich eingedeckt werden kann. Dieser Wunsch wurde voll erfüllt. Es war hübsch für uns am Fenster eingedeckt mit Tischdecke Kerzen und Blumen. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und erfüllt alle Wünsche mit netter Freundlichkeit. Die Auswahl an Gerichten und Getränken ist umfangreich und breit, von allgäuer Klassiker über burger, Steak bis hin zum edlen Fleisch/Fischgericht. Die Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten ist ebenfalls gut. Meine Cabonara waren etwas schwer, viel Butter und Parmesan, aber trotzdem gut. Man konnte nur nicht aufessen. Dessert war ebenfalls sehr gut, für jeden etwas dabei. Nicht für jeden Tag aufgrund der Preise, aber passt bei dem Rundumpaket.

Alles war super. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es war auch sehr schnell am Tisch. Die Portionsgröße war optimal. Ein großes Lob geht an den Service und die Freundlichkeit von Frau Anna Häfele. Das Abmiete auf der Terasse war sehr gemütlich. Alles Top.

Meine Tochter und ich waren während unseres 3-tägigen Aufenthaltes im bigbox Allgäu Hotel zwei Mal im dazugehörigen musics Restaurant Abends beim Essen dort und hatten jeweils ein 3-Gang-Menue. Es war jedes Mal ein kulinarisches Highlight, von der Suppe, Hauptgang und der Nachspeise. So gut gegessen hatten wir selten und auch liebevoll und toll angerichtet. Ein großes Kompliment an die Küche und dem Service - weiter so ! Wir verstehen hier die negativen Rezensionen überhaupt nicht, auch dass es überteuert ist - wer gute und schmackhafte Qualität möchte, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben und bezahlt gerne den Preis!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in der Stadtmitte. . Preis-Leistung im Restaurant hervorragend. Essen nur zu empfehlen. Unser Koch in der Familie war begeistert von den Menüs. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erstklassiger Service. Kleine, aber gute ausgewählte Speisekarte. Speisen wurden zeitnah und perfekt zubereitet. Besonders ist die Auswahl der Rum- und Whiskysorten hervorzuheben. Eine erstklassige Auswahl zu sehr moderaten Preisen, jenseits der Massenware. Kompliment an den Küchenchef. Wiederholt zum Abendessen hier gewesen. Wir wieder sehr zufrieden mit dem perfekten Service und der Auswahl der Getränke, wofür natürlich der Restaurantleiter zuständig ist. Auch an ihn und dem Personal großes Kompliment. Die Spargelkarte ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr gutes und geschmacklich extrem gutes Restaurant. Die Kellnerinnen und Kellner sind auf zack und sehr freundlich. Die Tische sind sehr schön gedeckt und es wird auch auf Kleinigkeiten geachtet. Das Essen ist wirklich ein Highlight. Wir werden definitiv wieder hier essen gehen.

Wir waren heute Abend nach dem Musical beim Essen (vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder). Das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut und die Portionen groß. Wir hatten vier Burger davon zwei Vegane mit Kichererbsen und Kindermenüs. Auf der Speisekarte ist eine Seite mit veganen Gerichten. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommen, ist gut ausgebildet und sehr kinderlieb. Ich war mit dem fünfjährigen Enkel beim Barkeeper, der dem Enkel geduldig zeigte, wie man Cocktails mixt. Er hat sogar einen kleinen Probierer (alkoholfrei) gemischt, den Enkel schütteln lassen und ihm geschenkt. Wir haben auch die Bewertungen wegen kleinen Portionen beim Personal angesprochen. Das Personal erklärte uns, dass im Rush-hour Betrieb die Küche manchmal überlastet war. Dieses frühere Problem ist behoben. Ich kann das Restaurant empfehlen. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Zweites Mal im musics gewesen. Essen, Getränke, Bedienung und Preis- Leistung Verhältnis passt zu 100%. Ambiente und Stimmung ist top.

tolles, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, es fehlte an nichts

Ein Abendessen hier geschäftlich verbracht. Tolle ungezwungene Atmosphäre, flotte Bedienung & eine tolle Auswahl an Speisen & Getränken. Die Fleischqualität und der Geschmack einfach sagenhaft. Keine langen Wartezeiten. Einfach Super!!!

STEAKTIME- EIN WUNDERVOLLER ABEND MIT FREUDE UND GENUSS.

Wieder Mal einen sehr schönen Abend im Musics verbracht! Danke an den Service und die Küche!

Wir wollten uns zu zweit einen schönen Abend machen und wurden sowohl vom Service als auch vom Geschmack der Speisen bitter enttäuscht. Der Spargel holzig, das dazugehörige Schnitzel winzig mit einem skurrilen Beigeschmack in der Panade. Die Suppe vorneweg mit wenig Geschmack und der Service eher ruppig und sehr unaufmerksam. Für uns ein einmaliges Erlebnis ohne Wiederholfaktor.

Vom Dauerregen gezwungen, nahmen wir unser Abendessen im Hotel ein. Ein günstiges und großes Vergnügen ist daraus nicht geworden. Wir begannen mit einer Rinderbrühe, sehr geschmackvoll und konzentriert, 6,90 Euro. Als Kellnerin sollte man es in dieser Kategorie aber schon schaffen, die Suppe zu servieren, ohne dass der breite Rand des Tellers fast zur Gänze verkleckert und mit Schnittlauch verziert wird, vielleicht sollte die Küche diesen gleich auf den Rand statt in die Brühe verteilen. Anschließend gab es ein Nudelgericht mittlerer Qualität und einen gemischen Sommersalat mit Putenstreifen, jeweils ca. 14 Euro. Der Sommersalat zeichnete sich nicht gerade durch Vielfalt aus, zwei Blättchen Chicorée, ein paar angeschmolzenen Cocktailtomaten und ganz viel kleingeschnittener grüner Salat, relativ viel Parmesan in groben Stückchen und auch reichlich Putenfleisch, alles "an" einem gut abgestimmten Dressing. Der Lugana dazu mit 6,90 Euro für 0,2l wie gewohnt sehr ordentlich und preislich durchaus im Rahmen. Obwohl nur drei Tische belegt waren, zeichnete sich der Service nicht durch Aufmerksamkeit aus, und es fehlte auch jede Nachfrage beim Abservieren der einzelnen Speisen. Verabschiedung? Habe ich keine wahrgenommen. Wohl nicht nur wir waren froh, dass der Abend vorübergegangen war.
