We were served in a friendly and satisfied manner. All dishes were very tasty! The team survived Corona with all its lying requirements. Instead of being happy that this excellent gastronomic establishment still opens its doors regularly, the landlord is accused by some brains & invertebrates of divisiveness just because he expresses his opinion in his menu about increased costs and their causes. Honesty is for strong people, the weak choose lies. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. Every single person in our group was extremely enthusiastic about the food. Whether it was fish, veggies or Kaiserschmarn for dessert, everything was freshly prepared and tasted excellent.

Guys, please don't read reviews, just book seats! And if you want to do me a favor, don't book if I really want to go there again. The food is top-notch, the service is customer-friendly and the prices for the package are reasonable. Google asked to update, gladly. Still wonderful food, with fantastic, warm service. The food was delicious, but we had to wait a long time for it. The service was friendly but cleared away glasses/plates etc. too quickly, which I found unpleasant as a guest. For example, she reached over my shoulder and poured me my beer (even though there was still some left in the glass) from the bottle that was on the table. This gave me the impression that I should drink faster. I ate and drank there for 30 euros and our group made a total of at least 500 euros in sales. There's no need to be offended just because I don't like dessert. Then the waitress didn't bring the side dish until I had already eaten half the dish. Monchshof is one of those German restaurants where you can’t see inside before you enter the premises. Despite that I decided to give it a go, and am extremely pleased I did. Excellent dish of the day: chicken breast stuffed with feta, served with potato wedges, glazed carrots, tzatziki and salad garnish. Wide selection of wines, by the bottle and by the glass, and reasonably priced eaux de vie. Excellent espresso coffee too. Service was both courteous and highly professional. The toilet facilities were immaculately clean. The place is clearly very popular with regulars, and it is advisable to book.

We had dinner at Mönchshof last Thursday, for the first time after the VAT was raised again to 19 percent. From the ambience to the friendly staff to the food, everything was really great, just as we have known it for years. The goat cheese is a dream, the scallops were also enthusiastic :) In terms of price, we hardly noticed any differences compared to 2023. We prefer restaurants that focus on food preparation and a well-rounded overall experience without making an unsolicited political statement. For this reason we will prefer other locations in the future.

My friends and I were actually satisfied with the food and the service. The starters and main courses were well prepared and we also liked the recommended beer. What has clouded the impression of all of us enormously and leaves us stunned: The restaurant has political messages on its menu that, in today's difficult times, further contribute to the division of society and, in their absoluteness, defame and degrade those who think differently. A message like this has no place on a restaurant menu. I don't want to know which party the restaurant owner votes for! We will therefore refrain from further visits and are very disappointed. A pity.

We visited the restaurant based on a recommendation and traditionally ordered rabbit with boiled potatoes and my wife ordered pork schnitzel. The schnitzel had to be complained about because it was too salty. Unfortunately, the rabbit was cooked a little too softly and was bland and lacked the typical gamey taste. The potatoes were partly watery, mealy and tasteless and I should have complained immediately, but I didn't want to cause more discord because of the previously complained pork schnitzel.

Were there for the first time and we really liked it. The service was very quick, friendly and attentive. The food (Alsatian-style goose breast) came after about 30 minutes and was very good all around! Unfortunately I only finished half of my plate, but my companion helped me (...). The ambience is cozy and fits the concept. You feel good and sit comfortably. The prices of the dishes are slightly above average for the region, but appropriate for the quality. We would recommend making a reservation. We'd love to come back :)

The beer chicken was supposed to be a chicken breast, but it came as a sliced ​​meat with a lot of sauce and it had a sour note of onions and beer. The fine seafood is high quality but boring, the saffron sauce has little flavor and is lost in the mass of noodles, the shrimp and scallop lack spices. The noble fish comes in a breading; unfortunately, the advertised soaking in milk does not make it tender in this case but rather gives it an unpleasant acidity. The winter vegetables and the savoy cabbage were generally too hard and cooked very unevenly. The mashed potatoes had no taste whatsoever, there was no butter or nutmeg. Maybe we were just unlucky because the ambience, service and ingredients were of high quality, it's a shame...

Wir hatten für den 23.12. einen Tisch für 2 reserviert, da wir einen Gutschein von Freunden bekommen hatten und vor dem Weihnachtsstress der kommenden Tage nochmal entspannen wollten. Sehr erfreulich: Uns empfing eine sehr ruhige und freundliche Atmosphäre, Die wir so (einen Tag vor Weihnachten) nicht erwartet hatten. Das Lokal selbst strahlte eine Ruhe und Tradition aus Die uns sehr gefiel. Der Service war super und die Speisen kamen ungewohnt schnell. Wir entschieden uns für die Speisen von der weihnachtlichen Wildkarte. Es war alles sehr lecker und toll angerichtet. Hervorheben möchte ich das hervorragende Servicepersonal: Handschuhe fürs Besteck, auf Wunsch zusätzliche Soße und ein bestens zusammenarbeitendes Team. Wer einmal die Erfahrung machen möchte wie sehr gute deutsche Küche auf ein gehobenes Niveau gebracht wird, der ist im Mönchshof sehr gut aufgehoben. Perfekt für Essen mit der Familie! Mein Tipp zur Ergänzung der Weinkarte: Reichen sie zu der hervorragenden Käseplatte einen Sauternes Dessertwein! Das unterstreicht die die tollen Käsesorten und rundet die Platte noch besser ab! 👍🤗

Gehobene Preise aber eben auch gehobene Küche und gehobener Service. Wenn es mal kulinarisch etwas Besonderes sein soll ist der Mönchshof eine gute Empfehlung. Gemütlicheres oder originelleres Ambiente gibt es auf jeden Fall aber der Fokus liegt hier ganz klar auf dem kulinarischen Erlebnis und nicht dem Schnickschnack drumherum.

20230906 wir waren nach unserer Trauung auf den Hausmannstürme hier essen. Da wir weit im Voraus einen Tisch reserviert hatten, war uns der Platz auch sicher. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und auch der Tisch wurde sehr liebevoll dekoriert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren ordentlich. Danke für die schöne Zeit. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Es gibt jede Monat einen Spezialität. Alles war lecker. Reservierung ist erforderlich, da meist ausgebucht (auch unter der Woche).

Super Gaststätte wo man sich wohl fühlt. Ausgezeichneter Service. Nur das Essen macht alles kaputt. Hatten Samstag Steak au four bestellt. Steak war nur ein bißchen angedünstet ohne Gewürze. Das Würzfleisch auf dem Steak war nur gewürfeltes Schweinefleisch ohne alles nur gedünstete Würfel ohne Soße und mit einer Käseimitation überbacken. Salattasse war auch nicht besonders. Rucola,Feldsalat usw. mit einem Hauch von Dressing.

Während der Öffnungszeit gab es nur zum Mittag und zum Abend je eine kurze Zeitspanne in der die Küche geöffnet war. Die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke sowie der Service waren eher mäßig aber preisintensiv. Dessert war eine Enttäuschung - das Törtchen war ein harter Keks und die Birnen-Mousse war Schlagsahne mit Geschmack. Die Tische sind eng gestellt und es ist ziemlich laut. Mittelmaß auf ganzer Linie.

Essen war sehr gut. Personal war trotz des guten Besuchs, ohne Reservierung gab es keinen Platz mehr, nett und auf Zack. Preise sind angemessen.

Nette, flotte und hilfsbereite Bedienung. Bestellungen wurden schnell und fast zeitgleich serviert. Das Essen ist gut aber es ist noch Luft nach oben. Die Feinabstimmung beim Benutzen von Gewürze sollte noch optimiert werden.

Wir waren am Sonntag nach dem Martinstag zum Mittagessen und es war einfach nur super. Wir hatten uns auf Gänsebraten eingestellt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Knusprige Gänsekeule mit schmackhaften Rotkohl und Klössen und toller Soße. Die Empfehlung des Hauses die Gänsebouillon zu probieren hat sich gelohnt. Die Weinkarte des Restaurants, ist die beste die ich in Halle kenne.

Ein Restaurant in dem man nicht das Gefühl hat, mit einem schnellen Essen zu überteuerten Preisen über den Tisch gezogen zu werden. Im Gegenteil: Die Gerichte sind lecker und frisch zubereitet, dazu ein passendes Getränk und ein sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Hier ist der Gast noch König.

Der Service war wie immer toll, das ganze Restaurant voll ausgebucht. Leider waren wir diesmal vom Essen nicht so begeistert, es waren Oktoberwochen, die Haut der Haxe war sehr zäh und die Knödel gefühlt nicht hausgemacht.Die Steinpilzsuppe war geschmacklich sehr dünn und die Süßkartoffel Pommes in meinem Gericht teils verbrannt
