The cutter's plaice was juicy and meaty, service was good, and the heat lamp was turned on upon request. All around good.

The portion size was quite good and the food tasted okay too. But the food came much too quickly and you can tell that it wasn't freshly prepared, but warmed up. We also tipped over 10 percent and weren't even thanked for that.

We "only" had 4 aperitifs, Rosato Mio, Pampelle and 2 Hugos. Very tasty, completely OK in terms of price. Right on the promenade, it's nice to sit and look at the Haden. Nordic friendly service. Nothing to complain about. 😉

We don't understand the good reviews. We were last in the marina in 2021, the food was very tasty back then. Unfortunately, when we went back to the marina today, we were very disappointed. My wife had a baked potato with sour cream, the salad was good, the inside of the potato was partly raw or undercooked, the sour cream had no taste or was bland, so my wife ate a third if at all (out of hunger), two thirds of it Portions went back. I had a Viennese schnitzel with roasted potatoes and mushroom cream sauce, the schnitzel was also not convincing (bland, not well seasoned and fried in the pan for too long) and also not a highlight, the fried potatoes were also fried for too long (so too dry and more than al dente). I should also have left the sauce alone... it tasted like a packet of sauce... not good. We wonder what happened from 2021 to today, One explanation would be that the chef has changed... We don't like to give bad reviews, but we enjoy good food and hope that the operator thinks about what he could change? The female blonde waitress asked if the potato wasn't tasty... when we explained that the potato was partly raw and the sour cream tasted bland... The waitress said the sour cream was excellent… Conclusion: we won't go to the Marina again in the future, the food was just too bad.

We decided to eat here this evening. It was very nice in the winter garden, cozy and warm, the view of the Trave was very nice and you could also smoke. Unfortunately the service wasn't really friendly and too fast. The starter hadn't really been processed yet when the main course arrived. Since the restaurant wasn't really full, it was a bit strange... Food was the worst... Starter too salty and main course too dry. I would like to write something better, but unfortunately our experience doesn't allow that.

We had dinner there with 12 people. After a very long wait, the restaurant was not even half full, 9 people got their food and 4 people finally got their food after 20 minutes after three reminders. Almost cold, of course. You simply forgot 4 plates in the kitchen. This is the second negative experience.

A surprise! We visited this house spontaneously last week and were not disappointed. Houses in this location are often a tourist trap. Not like that here. A fabulous waitress brought us two excellent, perfectly cooked plaices Finkenwerder style with cracking fried potatoes. Add a little wine and the view and the evening was a success.

Never experienced such an unfriendly waiter. Had an aperitif, waited for over 20 minutes, we were charged €7.90 instead of €7.50 as shown on the menu.

The service doesn't get a smile on their faces. If boiled potatoes are brought instead of fried potatoes, it is the guest's fault. Food in and of itself is okay.

Good fish restaurant with delicious dishes. Portion size is okay in relation to the price. Unfortunately, some of the glasses were not clean and were dirty with lipstick. Unfortunately, when these were replaced, the water was not refilled as a gesture of goodwill, with a price per bottle of €7.50.

Very courteous, attentive staff (for example, I knocked over my drink due to my own whimsy and got a new one on the house without asking). Dogs are also welcome, but they don't get water on site (in our case it was actually unfortunate, as the gentleman doesn't drink out of everyone's pots and it was over 30 degrees). Food very good and served quickly. Location great. Changing facilities are also available, but must be opened by the staff. Changing tables should be replaced from time to time.

Seldom seen such a poorly coordinated restaurant, despite a lot of staff. We came at a good time and there weren't that many guests. We had a small child with us and wanted to have something for dinner. The drinks came very quickly, but we had to wait a long time for the food. Not even the children's plate (pasta with sauce) came to the table on time. While everyone who came after us was already getting their food, we had already been waiting for an hour. The food tasted good, but not a culinary highlight that would be worth waiting so long for. It seemed as if seniors were preferred over families with children.

We had the pleasure of dining at the Marina Travemünde restaurant and it was simply fantastic! The food was excellent - from the crisp, fresh salads to the perfectly fried fish to the spicy fried potatoes, everything was right. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which really made our visit pleasant. The view from the terrace is unique and adds to the wonderful atmosphere. It is a pleasure to dine in such beautiful surroundings while looking out at the harbor and ships passing by. A great place to enjoy a meal and unwind. We'll definitely be back!

The service was quick and nice even if some of the food came before the drinks. In between, the plastic walls were pulled down because of the rain, but there were people sitting there and they then sat right against the wall, you noticed that they wanted to move because you were sitting under the roof before but then with a plastic wall in front of your face. I think we could have waited. The food looked good but was rather average. We expected more from the cauliflower, completely unseasoned and, well, baked in the oven, we naively thought, but they were fried. Potatoes were nice with it but there was only baguette. The soup was very good. The prices are rather high. And on this day only cash payment as is unfortunately very often the case in Travemünde and it's annoying. We had to go to the bank because of that.

Great food with a good price-performance ratio

The food is very good. But unfortunately it wasn't anything else. This was our second time there. Two years ago everything was completely different. The service was beyond bad. Many guests complained because everything took a long time (map, drinks, food, payment). There were 3 of us and we ordered. After we waited at the entrance for more than 10 minutes, I went to the boss and she just raised her hand in front of me and said: no time. Again and again people looked at us and ignored us. Our food came after over an hour. Nobody had a kind word or a smile. Everyone seemed very stressed. The blonde service person was beyond rude. Unfortunately that was the last time we ate there.

Children are obviously not welcome there and we are positioned in the middle of the blazing sun, despite there being free places in the shade.

We went here for dinner in the evening. We were greeted very nicely and immediately got a place on the terrace. The service is very nice and competent. We liked the food, but we found the schnitzel with fries for almost 20 euros to be too expensive, so it wasn't that tasty, but everything else was good. At the weekend there are plenty of scampis, freshly fried, cost over 30 euros per person, but highly recommended.

On the first day in Travemünde we stopped at the marina without much exploration. Service was ok. The food is rather average. I was looking forward to a nice Labskaus. Unfortunately it was a bit runny in consistency and also rather bland in taste. The eggs on it were very undercooked, so very wobbly. There was a roll mop divided into two parts. I've had better experiences than that. And unfortunately the portion size was also rather poor. My wife had a vegan dish that looked more like supermarket vegan paddies warmed up. We wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

A good selection of food and professional service!

The food was ok, but the waiting times for the food around 6:30 p.m. were very long. The drinks came shortly after we ordered, but we had to wait a whole 45 minutes for the food for 4 simple dishes (fries, schnitzel, nuggets with some salad). Even though it is a little more crowded, the long waiting time is not reasonable and since the wind blows through even under the roof, you started to freeze later, even if it was still 21 degrees outside.

We had dinner here on our second day of vacation. Very nice and good service man from Munich, who had his first day of work here. Everything worked out wonderfully. Cards were handed out, drinks were chosen, and after they were served we were able to order our food. 3 x plaice fillet and 1 x Labskaus were served after a pleasant wait. We were all very happy with our food and drinks. The price-performance ratio was also right for us. We would like to stop here again on our next visit to Travemünde. Everything was perfect and there was a great view of the Trave.

We went there twice for dinner. Once with coffee and fresh waffles and once for dinner. Both were absolute class. The staff is super friendly. But the location is awesome. You can pay attention directly to the activity on the Trave. And the prices are not that high yet. It's a shame we're leaving again, otherwise we would go there again.

Food, service and ambience very good!

Maybe our expectations were a little too high after reading the other reviews, but we weren't that enthusiastic. We were at the marina on the Tuesday after Pentecost around 5:30 p.m. It was sunny but very windy and we preferred to sit inside. On the way in we asked an employee who said it wasn't a problem. Shortly afterwards a waiter came and asked where we wanted to go, so we said again that we would rather eat inside and then only got the flippant and slightly arrogant answer: "Oh, is it too cold for those people outside?". Immediately afterwards, several guests moved from outside to inside and yes, it was just too cold outside, especially when you have older people aged 80+ with you. So the start was rather mediocre. The ambience was okay, a bit cool and functional, but basically completely fine, tastes are different. An employee took the order, the drinks were brought quickly and the waiter also became a little nicer when we received, among other things, the fish platter for two people. The fish was really delicious and very well prepared, but I didn't understand what the salad was doing on the warming plate. What really wasn't good were the fried potatoes... sorry... but they were either left over from Whit Monday or at least from lunch on the same day... not that they were particularly greasy, but they just tasted warmed up. The boss brought us the second round of drinks, he was really very nice. Conclusion: The fish was great!!! We wouldn't order fried potatoes there again. The waiter may have just had a bad day - we run a business ourselves and work with customers and know it can be difficult at times - but perhaps should reconsider his demeanor.

The first time everything was great despite the season and the full house. Well, the last time we visited, the service wasn't that good and the food was really bad. The plaice was yellow instead of white on the inside and unfortunately it didn't taste all that good. It's a shame

Conditionally, the plaice was already old, but the fried potatoes were good. The espresso and amaretto were forgotten.

Super nice, North German, hearty, personable, extremely attentive waiter. Food was impeccable. From the delicious fish soup to the juicy matjes to the tender tomahawk from Duroc pork - all right on the promenade - with a view of the water - so also something to see with food and gin and tonic ;-)

Die erste Bestellung der Getränke und auch des Essens klappten einwandfrei und wurden auch in einer angemessenen Zeit geliefert. Für eine zweite Bestellung musste man aber schon durch Rufen durch das großzügige Vorzelt auf sich aufmerksam machen. Als es an das bezahlen ging, kam einer der Mitarbeiter und zeigte uns die zu zahlende Summe auf seinem Bestellgerät. Kein Anzeichen eines Beleges, welcher doch selbstverständlich sein sollte. Ich wies ihn auf Kartenzahlung hin, worauf er erstmal verschwand. Gute 5 Minuten später erschien er wieder mit dem Kartenlesegerät, aber noch immer ohne Beleg/Quittung. Ok, benötige ich auch nicht. Durch die Fenster des Restaurants konnte ich während der Wartezeit die Kellner am Tresen sehen. Für die Wartezeit hätten wir uns auch einen besseren Film gewünscht, da ja das Restaurant auch nicht grad übermäßig gefüllt war. Wäre ich vor der Bestellung auf die Toilette gegangen, hätte sich diese erledigt. Nicht weil die Toilette verschmutzt war, sondern weil gleich zwei Kellner „vergaßen“ sich die Hände zu waschen. In einem Restaurant absolut unverzeihlich und letztendlich ursächlich für die Bewertung. Als deutlich besser zeigte sich allerdings die Fischplatte für zwei Personen, welche nett angerichtet und auf einer Wärmeplatte serviert worden ist. Sechs mal zwei unterschiedliche Fischstücke auf einem schmackhaften Gemüse und Salat waren absolut ausreichend. Zusätzlich wurden zwei verschiedene Saucen gereicht,welche kräftig und ordentlich im Geschmack waren. Einzig abfallend waren die Bratkartoffeln, welche nicht frisch produziert wurden, sondern aufgewärmt wurden und daher pappig geschmeckt haben

We were “tired of shrimp”. Here you can get a salad, a piece of garlic bread, garlic dip and shrimp as often as you like. The shrimp were cooked and still had some of the shell on. Personally, I missed the olive oil and garlic with the shrimp. I found them too bland. The rest, such as service and ambience, suited me.
