GOSCH Travemünde in Lübeck

We've already visited other Gosch branches and are still very satisfied with the food and drinks offered. The service is also perfectly fine. However, during our visit, it was very busy and quite airy, which ultimately made it a bit chilly.

Bratkartoffeln kalt, ohne Geschmack, nicht knusprig. Pannfisch fast nur Panade, kaum gewürzt. Separate Sauce ohne Geschmack. Ein paar trockene Salatschnipsel, ohne Dressing. Preis-Leistung unangemessen hoch.

Beautiful ambience at the mouth of the Trave

The salad was wilted and moldy. The devices indicating that the food was ready for pickup were beeping at an intrusive volume.

Too bad, I ordered pancakes and salmon and got salmon with baked potatoes and quark.

The location is very nice (right on the harbor, of course 😃)... But the quality/staff and price-performance 😬well... Unfortunately not

It's a real shame. While delicious as always, the portions have become really small. Unfortunately, a plate of fjord salmon for €26.50 isn't enough to fill you up. There's less fish and less salad. I was really disappointed.

Delicious, tasty, service a bit overwhelmed

We only had one ice cream there, and it was delicious. You could choose from so many toppings. Deducting one star for the price is a bit excessive, I think.

We ate fish and chips for €9.90. The meal consisted of a lot of fries and unfortunately very little fish.

The food was disappointing. Like cafeteria food! Fried potatoes soggy, fish tasteless (on every plate, for everyone who ordered). Salad garnish were wilted leaves and dried beetroot strips, probably from yesterday. The crabs on my fish were missing. When asked, they were thrown out, without a word of apology and with an annoyed look from the guy at the checkout who wasn't interested in his job, you could see it from him and his colleagues at the frying pan. By the way, none of them were European! The nice man who had to clean up was the only thing I liked about the restaurant. The toilets were dirty. …. Probably only on Sylt the ambience and the goods have to be right, due to the elite clientele. We spent a lot of money here on something that didn't taste good.

I just ordered food and took it with me. Not a long wait, food was good. I can't judge the service, it's self-service anyway.

Schnelles Essen mit Selbstbedienung. Das Essen schmeckt, die Lage ist super. Wer ein gutes Mittagessen ohne Bedienung möchte ist hier richtig.

That was probably nothing. I actually ordered a baked potato with my plate of fine fish. Unfortunately I got fried potatoes. Still okay... I thought! Because the fried potatoes were terrible. Unseasoned, way too thick slices, not crispy at all, but rather mushy. The rest was OK... but I've eaten much better in other Gosch restaurants. My husband's Thai penne was also so-so. Too little sauce and pasta stuck together. The frozen Thai penne tastes much better. It's a shame that Mr. Gosch doesn't seem to check everything here very often ;-)

It was my first time at Gosch and I wasn't particularly impressed. I had to get food and drinks from different counters. This meant I had to queue and wait twice. The staff was very careful to make it very clear that I should pay attention to the display on the card terminal. They literally demanded the tip. I don't think that's justified because there is no service. I had to get everything myself. The food wasn't really good either. The Currywust was chewy and the fries were quite reasonable. The worst thing was the herb bread I ordered. It was tolerably warm but totally wobbly so not crunchy at all. Finally, I can only say that for me it was two visits in one to Gosch. The first and last!

When I go out to eat, I don't want menus that are just warmed up, I want fresh produce because in the end I finally pay enough money for it. For this reason, Gosch is welcome to go back to Sylt

Really disappointing. Service was ok but not really nice either. The food was really the lowest level. Fried fish from the frozen food, carelessly prepared. Instead of a baked potato like I had ordered, I got a potato that was cooked too soft and not salted enough... if I offered fish on the Baltic Sea, I would be ashamed to put something like that in front of a customer.

Went to Gosch to eat once today (the last time it wasn't good) the fish was okay, the salad was old and the fried potatoes were unreasonable (like last time) very greasy and old potatoes, unfortunately Gosch has slacked off a lot; We won't be going there again for the time being, the food is just too expensive and no longer good, what a shame! Gosch has a great location there...

I can highly recommend this restaurant, they have wonderful, delicious fish dishes.

Always full in the sun, great food, best Gosch on the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately, the best people are being withdrawn for the new opening.

In the past, I associate the name Gosch with good food. The quality of the food has been completely lost and is definitely no longer worth the price. The service can be improved. The location is wonderful right on the Trave.

Hot food on a cold plate. That's completely unacceptable. And then begging for a tip beforehand. That's also unacceptable.

Wir waren an einem kalten und windigen Sonntag in Travemünde auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant. Eigentlich war Gosch nicht unsere erste Wahl. Es ist ein Schnelltestaurant, die Qualität okay, aber nicht überwältigend. Allerdings hatten wir einen sehr gemütlichen Platz und haben es genossen, nach langer Zeit endlich mal wieder einen Ausflug zu machen. Aufs Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten. Wer auf der Suche nach einfachem Essen ist und gemütlich sitzen möchte, ist bei Gosch gut aufgehoben.

As with all Gosch restaurants, very nice service. As always, the food was delicious, the location right on the Trave was very nice.

It was my first time at Gosch. Can't understand the hype surrounding this necklace. Portions too small for the prices. Had redfish fillet with potato salad. The fish was okay. Unfortunately, the potato salad tasted like it came from a package in the supermarket. No table service. Some snotty staff. Basically an expensive snack bar. The ambience was nice, but it was quite cold in the shop and the music was very loud, especially in the toilets. But it was clean. Except for salad or baked potatoes, nothing for vegetarians.

The food was average, the mustard sauce for the pan fish and the salad dressing were ready-made products with a strange taste. The ambience would actually be quite nice, nice view right on the water, unfortunately, in addition to the actual main entrance, there is another one with an automatic sliding door directly into the guest room, which is anything but pleasant when the outside temperature is 1 degree. Conclusion: Gosch Travemünde once and never again. Too expensive for self-service food, average quality, uncomfortable atmosphere.

We never really wanted to go here. But because Deep Blue is on vacation, we decided to give it a try. Nice location. Self-service...well. Automatic door to the outside allows cold air to blow through the guest room in winter. That's not comfortable. Panfish. It's going ok. The portion is rather large. The fish also freshly fried. Unfortunately the mustard sauce tastes artificial and a bit bitter. The fried potatoes were well fried. The bacon probably passes for belly meat and is quite limp. Unfortunately it doesn't add value to the fried potatoes. The salad side dish is served with ready-made dressing. Conclusion: We will leave it at one try.

Auf Empfehlung auch diese Filiale ausprobiert nach dem enttäuschenden Ergebnis in Grömitz. Auch hier würde ich nicht überrascht. Personal steht in Grüppchen fremdsprachig sprechend paarweise lustlos zusammen. Preise sind identisch übertrieben hoch. Heißgetränke schmecken wässrig. Fischbrötchen in der Auslage sahen aus als ob sie schon länger lagen. Kommen nicht wieder!

I'll never really understand it. Self-service prefers to bring everything back, but personnel costs are factored in. Approximately 0.2 mulled apple punch 4€ is also a number and the sweetness of an Ikea cup that was produced in Russia. Totally my sense of humor. This wanton price increase is almost funny. It wasn't for us here, the conditions just weren't right. If there should be a point, it's just for the selection and outlook.
