Inexpensive 'Yugoslavian' restaurant with attractive decor and simple cuisine, located right next to the Lichterfelde-West S-Bahn station. The Berlin-style liver with mashed potatoes was delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating.

A family business with attention to detail and many specialties that are second to none.

Overall, I'm very satisfied. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was freshly prepared and delicious, especially the meat platter with its side dishes, which was a pleasant surprise. The portions were more than generous; there was even some left over to take home! The price-performance ratio is good, the wait times were short, and the restaurant also looks well-maintained. All in all, a place I can wholeheartedly recommend.

One of the best places in Lichterfelde West! The most amazing crew, excellent service, and excellent food. The waiters are attentive and dedicated. The terrace is open for public viewing during the European Championships and World Cups. And we'll be there for mulled wine, as is traditional on December 23rd.

Friendly, quick service, good food, especially the starter plate. The cleanliness at the table (leftovers from previous guests) could have been a little better. Cleaning was promised but didn't happen, so we cleaned up the crumbs ourselves. Apart from this downer, we were very satisfied.

Very tasty and good food (also the salad)! A reliably high-quality, well-maintained and friendly family business. The lunch menu consists of a diverse selection at fair prices. The quality is always convincing, without exception! Lichterfelde train station would be a lot poorer without this great restaurant.

Unfortunately, the price and performance of the food don't match. The meat was neither really well prepared nor of apparently good quality. The vegetable side dishes were bland and “tasteless”, the fries were dry. Definitely a far cry from 23 euros, that's much better for the price. I don't want to talk about the wine, but the taste of the wine and the price didn't match. It's a shame because the atmosphere is actually very nice and the staff is friendly and attentive. By the way, the Aperol Spritz was very tasty, so I could write something positive about it.

Best restaurant Lichterfelde West!

From February 9th, 2025: I had dinner on Tuesday (January 28th, 2025): Berlin liver. It was very tasty and the portion was generous! The staff is very friendly. I really liked it there, next door to the “Lichterfelde West” S-Bahn station! Just really great.

I eat at least once every week. We always respond to requests. The staff is extremely friendly. Keep it up.

I can say one of the best pizza I’ve had in Berlin . Personnel are so friendly and the atmosphere is really nice.

Parking available, I can only laugh. There have never been free places here, residential area always full.

I grew up in Lichterfelde and since yesterday I have to admit two serious gaps in my education: I didn't know Macedonia or "Lichterfelder" on the menu. As I said, I've known since yesterday. We were there for dinner and loved it in every respect. In fact, we haven't had Yugoslavian cuisine on our radar for years. Things will be different now. We can only recommend the Macedonia, even for lovers outside the neighborhood.

Restaurante Macedonia Hans - Sachs - Str. 4 f “En el verde” Lichterfelde, Berlin Tavce Macedonia que pedimos. “Cuando estés en Lichterfelde haz lo que los feldianos puedan.” (Viví de Drakestraße un par de años, antes de que esto existiera. ) Una ensalada grande - y - gran mezcla complementó el “Tavce”. Filetes de cerdo, Pimentón (+) , Cebollas, Champiñones al horno en una salsa de crema de coñac y mozzarella. Como un Stroganoff de ternera a gran escala. Schmecken gut. Buen servicio, muebles de Europa del Este ... muy agradable. Familia - “orientado”, como algunos en Alabama podrían decir.

Only thing which is missing is the menu in English and the update on the website overall. Futhermore, the restaurant is Macedonian. Why isn't there a macedonian language on the website? We had reserved in advance and although it wasn't too busy, we had to wait forever for our food and sometimes drinks. The food was very good. I would love to eat the lamb skewers every day and the lamb chop was also very well prepared. The service is very polite, but sometimes overwhelmed and the ambience is nice but the interior could definitely be renovated here and there. The outside area is very pleasant when it is warm. All in all, definitely worth a visit. Even dogs are allowed.

I've been going to this place pretty often, the food is very good, they have so many options that anyone can choose from, it isn't that expensive either for such a fancy restaurant, you can either choose to stay out and eat in fresh air or stay inside at a fancy table, they're serving the food pretty fast even if it's very busy they still manage to bring it out to you in at least 10-15 minutes, and that's on their busiest day. I highly recommend this place if you're anywhere near Lichterfelde West S-Bahnhof, the drinks are also very good and there are a few kid menu's you can choose from as well as a few vegetarian dishes.

Um die Wartezeit am Bahnhof etwas zu überbrücken wählten wir dieses Lokal und saßen draußen. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und genossen die frisch zubereitete Minestrone. Einfach nur perfekt und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Die Penne Macedonia waren auch hervorragend. Schönes mediterranes Geschirr wurde aufgetischt. Der Innenbereich bietet viel Patt für zb. Familientreffen. Überall sind landestypische Gegenstände, wie zb Weinflaschen, vorzufinden. Die Toiletten sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch sehr sehr sauber und ordentlich. Herzlichen Dank für die gute Bewirtung!

In order to bridge the waiting time at the train station, we chose this restaurant and sat outside. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the freshly prepared minestrone. Just perfect and definitely recommended! The Penne Macedonia was also excellent. Beautiful Mediterranean dishes were served. The interior offers plenty of space for e.g. Family meeting. Typical objects such as wine bottles can be found everywhere. The toilets are a bit old, but they are still very clean and tidy. Thank you very much for the good hospitality!

Eines der Top Adressen in Lichterfelde West! Das Essen ist echt ein Gedicht, wir wurden hier noch nie enttäuscht! Was aber fast noch besser ist als das ist ist der Service!! Der Service ist immer eine 10/10, immer schnell und ausgesprochen freundlich! Man kann sich auch oft echt gut mit der Bedienung unterhalten. Ich habe schon in Sternerestaurants und deutlich teureren Lokalen viel schlechteren Service erlebt... Z.B. auch die Pizza ist sehr empfehlenswert und das Cordon-Bleue ist ein Traum! Auch preislich ist das Restaurant sehr gut. Für ein Mittagessen mit Pizza, Tomatensuppe und 3 Getränken zahlten wir gerade einmal 25€. Mittags sowie Abends eine volle Empfehlung!! Die Renovation des Innenraums (die wahrscheinlich jetzt aber auch schon ca. 2 Jahre her ist), war schon notwendig, da es früher drinnen immer ein bisschen steril war. Jetzt ist aber alles 1A!

This is a very nice Macedonian restaurant. They have many of the Balkan favourite dishes. Grills are very good both vegetarian and meats. Seafood excellent. Also had 3 very nice wines. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We visited the restaurant around 3pm on a Sunday. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as on a previous visit. Apparently we were served leftovers from lunchtime, so essentially couldn't detect any freshness. The meat was hard and tough, the salad was very poor with a few drops of dressing. Overall too expensive for this quality! I probably won't visit the restaurant again.

One of the top addresses in Lichterfelde West! The food is really a poem, we have never been disappointed here! But what's almost even better than that is the service!! The service is always a 10/10, always quick and extremely friendly! You can often have a really good chat with the waitress. I've experienced much worse service in starred restaurants and much more expensive places... For example, the pizza is also highly recommended and the Cordon Bleue is a dream! The restaurant is also very good in terms of price. We paid just €25 for lunch with pizza, tomato soup and three drinks. A full recommendation for lunch and dinner!! The renovation of the interior (which was probably about 2 years ago now) was necessary because it used to be a bit sterile inside. But now everything is 1A!

Zum Ambiente:✅ Wunderbare Ausstattung mit guten nicht aufdringlichem Licht. Im Hintergrund spielte ein Pianist hervorragend.( begleitend zum Essen. Kein Konzert ). Essen : ✅ Ich habe das Zanderfilet gegessen. Gut gebraten , super Soße . Ein sehr leckeres Gericht. Meine Freunde haben unter anderem Grillgerichte vom Lavasteingrill gegessen, die vom Essen und vom mazedonischen Wein begeistert waren. Bedienung ✅ Schnell, kompetent , auf Allergien wurde eingegangen sehr aufmerksam und nett. Fazit :✅ Kommen sehr gerne wieder:)
