NENI Berlin in Berlin

Finally eaten here again. A reservation is still urgently required. The service was again super friendly and attentive. The food great too. We would love to come back.

Reservation impossible for groups of 5 people or more, the jug goes to the well until it breaks. The food was delicious, but currently very popular and unbookable. Hopefully bad times never come, then I won't be able to come over with the 9 unconfigurable friends anymore, not even to the Monkey Bar... by the way, that's the reason for the business. Eating then bar is not possible from 5 FTE!

What a great evening! The food was delicious, nice atmosphere and outstanding service, especially Rochi, who looked after us very well.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal im Neni und wurden leider enttäuscht. Trotz weniger Gäste, mussten wir sehr lange warten, bis jemand zu uns an den Tisch kam ( erst nachdem einer von uns nach vorne ging und nachfragte). Dann war wieder lange Wartezeit angesagt und letztendlich kamen Getränke und Essen zusammen. Gerne hätte ich meinen Kaffee vorher getrunken. Das Essen war gut, aber komplett überteuert. Kein Nachfragen, ob Getränke fehlen, Dessert oder Espresso erwünscht wird. Hier mussten wir wieder nach vorne gehen und nachfragen. Schade, dass ein solches Lokal so einen schlechten Service anbietet!

The NENI in Berlin is simply great! The food is an absolute delight – fresh, creative and with authentic flavors that are perfectly balanced. The service was also first class: friendly, attentive and always with a smile. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. If you want to experience exceptional food in a great ambience, this is the right place for you. A must for anyone who wants to discover Berlin culinary!

Not an accommodating store. Really not recommended.

This place is a bit overrated in my experience. Great atmosphere but food was just ok.

Ci siamo recati senza prenotare, il ristorante si trova in cima ad un palazzo. Abbiamo chiesto alla reception e mi hanno fato salire per chiedere. Dopo 15 min di attesa ci hanno fatto accomodare. Il cibo e buono e la location è molto bella, i sapori sono medio orientali. Il conto è proporzionato al cibo e al posto (non è economico). Per il dopo cena accanto al ristorante c'è anche un bar con DJ set, non è richiesta la prenotazione.

Im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise waren wir am Abend im NENI. Im Gegensatz zu hohen Erwartungen bez. des Essens, hatte ich keinerlei weitere Erwartungen und/oder Erfahrungen mit dem NENI Konzept. Schnell war ich jedoch überzeugt und wir konnten in der Gruppe (7 Personen) einen tollen Abend bei fantastischem Essen und guter Atmosphäre erleben. Sicherlich, wer es leise und ruhig mag, ist hier nicht am rechten Ort. Jedes Gericht, dass serviert wurde, war stimmig und liess uns die gepriesene Küche der Levante von Haya Molcho erleben. Tolle Aromen, tolle Konsistenzen (besonders der Hummus), tolle Kombinationen. Die oben erwähnten Erwartungen an das Essen wurden komplett erfüllt, eigentlich sogar übertroffen. Danke NENI Berlin.

Once again a culinary experience with really good service! Unfortunately, I had a small mishap when booking; I had booked for the following day. Stefan was totally confident and solution-oriented. We had to wait a bit and he made it possible for me not to completely embarrass myself in front of our guests. We were shown a great table without any complications. Josi absolutely topped the service, she was so warm and read our every wish. We'll definitely be back!

A special place with good food. Portions are not big. It's not cheap.

We had a super delicious menu for two. Our waitress Rochi gave us friendly and competent advice and service and Robert guided us through our menu very well. The ambience is simply amazing - with the view over Berlin and the Tiergarten. We would come back at any time and can only recommend it to everyone.

The atmosphere is nice, the staff is attentive and the view towards the zoo is definitely worth a visit. But don't come for the food. Carelessly prepared dishes in mini portions. Tastes good, but nothing more. This is clearly better. And charging 11 euros for a 0.1 liter Grüner Veltliner is “sporty”.

We were there for the first time today. We reserved a table and got a really nice seat. The atmosphere is great, we found it straight away and the parking garage is in a great location. We decided on the menu and were super happy with it. The service was great. Once we had to wait a long time for our food. But they apologized and we got a drink on the house. That was completely ok for us. We'd love to come back.

Nice view (if you’re by the window), food average. The hostess was rude, refused to give us a table with a view (by the window), though the room was 2/3rd empty (and remained so), pretexting one « can’t change a reservation »… Coming from the US, it is hard to imagine such a hostile attitude towards customers anywhere else. Overall, the experience was forgettable. You can find a other nice views over Berlin, with nicer service and better food.

Perfect if you love Israeli cuisine. Incredibly delicious. And you have a great view from the roof terrace.

In the heart of a subdued atmosphere, the service was impeccable. The incredible view of Berlin gave the moment a magical feel. The cuisine is excellent. Thank you for this moment which will mark me forever when I think back to my stay in Berlin!

The ambience and the quality of the food are great. However, the portions are very small. We had the menu for six people. This consisted of different dishes, each of which was served twice, so three people each shared one of the dishes. At the table next door, a couple also had the menu. As far as we could tell, they got the same amount for two people. The amount would have been ok for four people, but it wasn't enough for six.

On Monday we had lunch at the NENI restaurant. What can you say about that? First of all, a wonderful view of the zoo and the roofs of the city. We had a table by the window where we could enjoy the scenic view. The food in the restaurant was excellent! I would also like to highlight the service! Our waitress Emma was fantastic! She was attentive and friendly and gave us great recommendations. It was our first visit, but certainly not the last.

My friends and I were at the restaurant on Saturday evening. We were served by the waitress Emma. She offered us delicious dishes and told us about them. She works quickly and professionally, and is also very friendly. Thank you very much.

An almost spontaneous stop (requested a table at 1 p.m. and got something at 5 p.m. under the butterfly for 4 people), which turned out to be a wonderful evening for us. The food was consistently delicious and fresh. The oriental touch is something different and very lovingly implemented in his dishes (the open kitchen is a dream). Everything was rounded off by our very attentive, friendly but unobtrusive service, Dr. Rochi.

Wir waren mal wieder hier essen, weil wir im Bikini-Haus auch einkaufen waren. Einzigartig ist natürlich die Lage und der Blick über den Zoo. Das Essen war auch wieder top, vor allem geschmacklich ist es immer eine tolle Abwechslung. Ich bin ja eher der Fan von rustikaler, deutscher Küche. Aber hier hat man geschmacklich mal wieder eine andere Welt. Einzig Abends ist die Umgebung in der Budapester Straße inzwischen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Laut, skurrile Menschen mit Polizei und Autorennen sind gerade nicht das, was man als Familie gerne sehen möchte. Wer dort ist unterwegs ist, weiß was wir meinen. Abgesehen davon trotzdem 5 Punkte

We had a really good meal with a great view. The service was very attentive and we felt like we were in good hands, even with a small child. Price-performance ratio is 100%! 💫Top 💫 💯

Such a great experience, from amazing food to amazing service and an unforgettable view!!! Be ready for a flavour explosion. We were 3 people and shared 3 starters, 2 mains and the dessert platter. An fancier option do eat in Berlin but so worth it and still casual ;)

Waiters were not friendly, Portions were really small compared to price, Food tasted okay. Expensive.

I asked for a table next to the window when booking and even though there was room, they gave me a separate table despite insisting. The illogical reasons: that the table is not for two, when they are all tables for two that are joined or separated. The worst thing is that they were free until we left.

An extraordinary restaurant with unusual decoration. The guests present were mixed, but rather fashionable and stylish. The outdoor terrace of the restaurant, which is located on the upper floor, offers a very nice view over the roofs of Berlin. I won't describe the food as particularly good, we were a large group and some weren't happy. However, since the food is exceptional, you can't judge it accurately. But it's worth a visit.

It was once again a completely successful evening at Neni. The food, a dream. The ambience, as always, relaxed and light, but not too casual. Particularly noteworthy is the service ROCHI! We laughed a lot and felt extremely well looked after. Tomorrow again!

Really great food at fair prices (in contrast to the drinks - 200 ml of cola for €4.50!!!), but unfortunately the service is subpar: 1. The table we had specially reserved was not kept free for us and we had to make do with another one. 2. Question when ordering: "Is the cellar beer dark?" Answer: "yes". But a light beer came. 3. The side dishes were served at the same time as the starters and not with the main courses as ordered. 4. Our waiter came by very rarely. If we had a request, we had to get up and speak to someone from the staff. 5. I waited more than half an hour for my dessert. Reason: "You see what's going on here." 6. When we left the restaurant, no one wished us a nice day or said goodbye in any way.

Had a really nice evening at Neni on September 25th. Julian was super friendly and gave us great advice - about the menu and the wine. We'll be back soon!

The food and service were great. Marian as a waiter was a dream. Very nice and accommodating. The ambience could be better. It was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation at the table.

The Balagan menu tasted very good, but there was little explanation. However, our waiter Marian was very knowledgeable and explained what was brought very skillfully. Overall, a lovely and very pleasant evening, one of the best waiters I've ever had!

The four of us tried Neni today with a reservation a few weeks in advance. Check-in at the entrance and seat allocation were easy and very friendly. We were assigned a woman named Rochi. The food was explained to us with a super nice welcome. When we asked for recommendations, there were nuanced answers, meaning that everything we ordered suited our tastes very well. The kitchen is something new and really mixed. In terms of taste, there were one or two things in the menu that ranged from unexciting to sober. In contrast, most of the dishes were very tasty.

Everything was perfect: great view, nice and uncomplicated staff and of course the very good food.

Location and ambience are great. The view over West Berlin and the zoo is simply fantastic. As a group, we had a menu put together in advance and were not disappointed. Vegetarians were also taken into consideration. Starters, main course and dessert were incredibly good. Service was present but not intrusive. Overall, we as a group really enjoyed it.

A very nice place to eat. It's always super tasty and the view over Berlin makes it very special. The hummus platters are very good and if the tiramisu comes back on the menu it will be more than 5 stars :)

Unfortunately, we were happy for nothing. Table was reserved for 4 p.m. and only appetizers arrived until 5:30 p.m. The next table, which came after us, had several dishes much earlier. Due to lack of time, we canceled the main courses. Hummus and Baba Ganoush were okay, but I have eaten this quality several times. Ambience great, staff numerous and friendly. No discounts, no “sorry, it’s on the house”. It's just a chain now. Too bad

We ate here for the first time today. We decided on the menu. Very ingenious. The food was simply delicious throughout. Everything can be reordered as often as you like. Ambiente und die Qualität des Essens sind super. Allerdings sind die Portionen sehr knapp bemessen. Wir hatten das Menü für sechs Personen. Dieses bestand aus verschiedenen Gerichten, die jeweils doppelt auf den Tisch kamen, drei Personen teilten sich also jeweils eines der Gerichte. Am Tisch nebenan hatte ein Paar ebenfalls das Menü. Diese bekamen soweit für uns ersichtlich die gleiche Menge für zwei Personen. Für vier Personen wäre die Menge ok gewesen, für sechs war es zu wenig.

Julian war eine Super Begleitung für den Abend. Wir haben uns gut bei ihm aufgehoben gefühlt. Lob auch an die Küche für das Menü. Drinks und Essen waren super harmonisch.

Wir waren heute im Neni und hatten einen wunderbaren Abend mit sehr leckeren Speisen, einem sehr guten Service und einem schönen Ambiente, wobei die tolle Aussicht natürlich etwas Besonderes ist

Toller Service, es war jedoch sehr laut, so dass wir uns nur sehr angestrengt unterhalten konnten. Das Essen war okay, allerdings finde ich das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz passend. Speziell der Wein ist etwas zu teuer. Grundsätzlich aber einen Besuch wert.

We were guests at the Bikini Hotel last weekend and had dinner at Nenis on Saturday evening. From reception to payment, the service was a 12/10, we had a table directly at the window facing the zoo, which was a dream view. The service at the table was outstanding and the food was pure enjoyment, we were very enthusiastic, there was no need to season the food etc. It was a successful evening and we would be happy to come back, thanks to the kitchen for this excellent food.

Neni is great, but you have to know what you're getting yourself into. The food is heavy, oniony and garlicky. If you think the salad will be a lighter option, think again: there's so much tahini and pomegranate molasses on it that it's still very hearty. The atmosphere is loud and frenetic. So overall Neni is not the best choice for a first date or to launch a night out. However hefty it may be, the quality and creativity of the food never disappoint. The team is incredible: somehow they maintain personable and prompt service despite how huge and full Neni always is. A reservation is absolutely always essential, but easy to do online.

Tolles Essen Spitzenblick Guter Service! Auffällig NETTE und FREUNDLICHE Bedienung Aufgefallen ist uns auch, dass DIE GÄSTE dort alle freundlicher und offener waren, als in den meisten Restaurants sonst in Berlin… Liegt‘s am Essen? Liegt‘s an der Kultur?

Although the store was probably only a quarter full, the service seemed to be at its peak. The greeting from the kitchen came 30 seconds before the starter. The appetizer glasses remained empty on the small table, which, together with the metal plate for the greetings from the kitchen and the starter, made it quite full. Drinks only came with the main courses after request. Despite ordering, the wine accompaniment was not received, but it was still found on the bill. The food, however, was impeccable and very tasty. The food is fully recommended, the service still needs to be improved. Compared to the other positive reviews, my experience hopefully seems to be the exception.

Die Tischreservierung mit dem gewünschten Platz hat geklappt. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, selten so erlebt. Das Essen war fantastisch. Der Ausblick und das Ambiente grandios! Rundum ein vollends gelungener Geburtstagsabend für meinen Freund, der sehr begeistert war. Danke!

Es ist schön aber immer laut, das kann man akustisch doch ändern? Die vegetarischen Angebote könnten variieren, kein Blumenkohl mehr? Das alkoholfreie Pils ist leider ungenießbar.

Delicious food with the most beautiful view of the city. Both the vegetarian dishes and the versions with meat are highly recommended. The cheesecake for dessert was the best we have ever eaten, although a bit pricey. The service was very attentive and super nice.

We had a confirmed reservation outside & were shown to the seats facing the sun on a 30 degree evening with the tables & chairs set against the plate glass windows doubling down on the heat & glare. There were other tables available & it took several requests, which were enacted with an attitude that could be most kindly described as graceless. The staff were focused on the larger groups and there was a sense that we were not valued as customers. There were errors in the order which while minor were consistent with the level of service experienced. The evening was capped off being charged for a bottle of wine instead of a glass which took several conversations to remedy. We have no intention of returning or recommending.

Tolle Lage und Aussicht, sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal und einigermaßen gute Preise.

We choose to sit outdoors and there was no shade and so we were given a very inferior table inside with no other choices. Disappointing. Chose sparkling water were given still. Gave us the wrong beer. Didn’t feel special.

POSITIV: Die Location ist einfach nur Hammer. Das hat sie größtenteils dem atemberaubenden Blick über den Zoo oder die Stadt zu verdanken. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker. Großes Lob an die Küche und absolut weiterzuempfehlen. NEGATIV: Der Service ist leider noch etwas ausbaufähig. Trotz scheinbar genug Servicekräften wirkte alle sehr unkoordiniert und extrem langsam. Man hätte mir definitiv mehr Getränke verkaufen können. NO GO: Essen und Trinken des Barkeepers hinter der Theke, seine Haare machen und anschließend Eiswürfel mit der Hand in Gästegläser geben und weitere Cocktails zubereiten ist ein absolutes NO GO und eine hygienische Katastrophe. Das schlimme an der ganzen Geschichte ist, dass dieser in seiner Schicht scheinbar eine neue Kollegin eingearbeitet hat, die es von der Pike auf falsch lernt.

Wunderbar und absolut empfehlenswert. Wir wurden von den Servicemitarbeitern angenehm verwöhnt. Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch. Wir hatten einen atemberaubenden Tisch am Fenster und konnten über den ganzen Tiergarten schauen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und empfehlen das NENI Berlin weiter!
