NENI Berlin in Berlin

I had made a reservation for seven people over the phone for a company party. When we arrived, they said there were no reservations. That's completely unacceptable.

A restaurant that's a departure from traditional Berlin fare. The welcome is very friendly. The setting, on the 10th floor, is very nice. And the dishes are very tasty.

Probably the restaurant in the chain with the most beautiful view. The food is generously portioned and very tasty, and the service is attentive. English please! ;-)

During our vacation in Berlin, we reserved a table for lunch a good five weeks in advance. We had specified a table on the Tiergarten side. Unfortunately, there were no spaces when we arrived. It's a shame. But the ambiance and the food are simply fantastic. The menu is enjoyable from the first bite to the last. The cooking here, too, is done with passion.

The view is very nice, the interior is pleasantly furnished. It is not a cuisine that appeals to me, I came upon an invitation. The food is generally Lebanese cuisine. Falafel, hummus, etc. Of course, there are chicken, meat and fish options for main courses. Personally, it is not a cuisine I would prefer if I came myself.

This was my third time at NENI – and for the first time, even making a reservation went smoothly! The food is, as always, absolutely fantastic: ideal for sharing, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. We were particularly impressed this time with the babaganoush, the Jerusalem plate with chicken and hummus, the roasted vegetables (incredibly delicious!), and the Wagyu kebab. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, the service friendly, if not always entirely competent – ​​but the quality of the food more than makes up for that. For me, it remains one of the best addresses for creative, Levantine cuisine in Berlin.

Been here before and liked it a lot! This time however the service was awful!

First, the good news. The food is very good. That's it. Service is disastrous. Reservations aren't carried out as ordered. Only after a complaint is made on site. Ordered dishes are repeatedly delivered incorrectly, and questions about allergies aren't answered despite promises. The staff, and I'm not the only one, gives the impression that guests are just a nuisance. Perhaps a tip upon entry would change the situation somewhat. After servers are called to the table, they arrive with their hands full (dirty dishes), take an order, and promptly deliver the wrong thing. I'm sorry. A place with truly great potential has permanently lost customers this way. As I now know, others are in the same situation.

The food was excellent and the ambiance truly lovely – unfortunately, the evening was completely spoiled by the service. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our bill. Despite repeated reminders, the waiter kept forgetting. Finally, we went to the counter to pay ourselves – where we were told the bill couldn't be found and would have to be reprinted. Of course, these things can happen – no one is perfect. What is absolutely unacceptable, however, is no apology, no understanding, no sign of professionalism. In a restaurant of this price range, I expect service that matches the culinary standard – and at least the decency to apologize for obvious oversights.

The food was absolutely amazing—every bite was full of flavor and perfection. The ambience, especially in the Tarish Garden, was beautiful and serene. Only one thing was missing: a touch of music in the garden area to complete the vibe. Hospitality was outstanding, and Mr. Koppany truly made our visit unforgettable. His warm and professional service set a high standard. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again!

Ich liebe Neni - vor allem ihre Mezze/Vorspeisen - der Geschmack, Präsentation, Service, Aussicht/Lage - alles top... und ich zahle auch gerne 10 EUR für ein Glas Wein... aber beim Wasser bin ich enttäuscht, eine Wasserpauschale? Not ok... bitte fangt auch in Berlin an die EU-Trinkwasserrichtlinien umzusetzen... bei den Preisen muss das drinnen sein.

Overall a bad choice and experience. We were there to celebrate Mother’s Day! We received no welcome appetizer like all the tables around us, also we seemed to have no waiter since no one was tending on us. Then someone finally came to our table and took our order for drinks and food and 25 min later everything arrived at the same time! Including the appetizer we order to enjoy before our main dishes. Everything was cold! The quality of the food was mediocre, the chicken was dry and was not worth it. They also brought our drinks after the food! Then we never had a waiter again until it was time to pay. This place has just downgraded its quality and I would not recommend it.

Unique dishes, great atmosphere, and kind staff. Going to the Monkey Bar after is the perfect way to end the night!

Food at Neni is always really good, but the price-performance ratio isn't quite right. When you arrive, everything is already beautifully set. Unfortunately, our plate is full of sugar and the glasses are full of black dirt. The candle was only lit upon request. There were only two of us, we got the starter at the same time, but unfortunately not at all for the main course. Something like that simply shouldn't happen in this price range. In addition, my husband didn't even get a nice beer glass for his beer, but one that looked like it came from Ikea. The water glasses are also past their best. I am aware that you pay for the view. If the above points can be taken care of, then it would be a great restaurant, but I have to say it is simply overrated.

The restaurant is gorgeous, and the panoramic view alone makes it worth visiting. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The staff seemed untrained in basic service etiquette, which affected the overall experience. Food was good, but not without issues. My medium-rare steak arrived completely well-done, more like a skewer than a steak. It was corrected after I mentioned it. The “Israeli salad” tasted more like a mcdonald’s side salad with lemon juice, vinegar, and some radish — not authentic at all. Despite this, the rest of the dishes were tasty, and the breathtaking view helped balance the negatives. It’s a nice place, but management should definitely invest more in improving service quality — especially since weekend reservations require booking a month in advance.

I had dinner with my wife during our short stay in the city, I managed to reserve a table via email the day before, they responded quickly and efficiently, the ease of booking was truly top. The menu on the list offers a lot of choice and it is certainly possible to find dishes that meet your tastes. Very nice place with a view of the city, clean and the service is fast and attentive, there is also staff who speaks Italian. Positive experience and I recommend the place even to those who are not inclined to the type of culinary orientation.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and really fast and it's a fantastic location. It's a bit louder, but bearable. Certainly not cheap in terms of price, but for us it was worth every cent.

Wir waren nach 2023 nun zum 2ten Mal und wahrscheinlich das letzte Mal bei Neni Berlin. Was hat uns nicht gefallen. Die Reservierung lief auf 4 Personen obwohl wir nachträglich auf 7 Personen erweitert hatten. Die Hauptspeise überlappt sich mit der Vorspeise. Teller wurden erst beim bezahlen abgeräumt. Wasser wurde nur auf Nachfrage gereicht (obwohl flatrate bestellt wurde). Insgesamt war die Bedienung unaufmerksam und unfreundlich. Die Karte hatte sich im Vergleich zu 2023 erheblich reduziert. Obwohl die Aussicht super ist, stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

We enjoyed our wedding dinner for 15 people here with the Balagan menu. The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it and you could order more if there wasn't enough. Attention was also paid to our allergy information. The service was excellent (special thanks to Robert). We will definitely come back...

We always like to visit Neni when we have the opportunity on our city trips. The service here was very, very good and particularly friendly. The food here is also very tasty, but the prices are now borderline for the portion size.

We ate at Neni in February after only ever going to the Monkey Bar before. The food is very tasty and the view of the zoo is of course fantastic. We also really liked the casual ambience and the brightness from the glass facades.

Great food, attentive service and a great location with a view over Berlin. We were there with 20 people and had a menu with varied starters, Jerusalem plates, fish and a dessert platter. Everything was tasty and very nicely prepared. Highly recommended, even for larger groups. Mezze: €8 – €20 Main courses: €19.50 – €36 Extras/side dishes: €1.50 – €7.50 Desserts: €9 – €9.50 (or €25 for a choice of 3)

Service was overwhelmed even though there were enough people on hand. Ambiance and food great.

We are really shocked at how uncouth people are treated here. We came specifically for the restaurant and were there 9 minutes early. It was really a totally unfriendly announcement that we would have to wait, we understand that the staff has to prepare but THE TONE doesn't work at all. We could have been made to wait at the table, other people were already sitting. It was really the way it was communicated - no go

Fantastic view. Delicious food.

I've been here many times. The food is very tasty and the view is great. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the poor service. If you allocate a fixed time slot, which makes a relaxed evening almost impossible, then it is counterproductive to make guests wait half an hour for their first drinks. The same applied to ordering the main course. We would have liked to order a dessert afterwards, but were then forced to leave because the next guests were waiting. Unfortunately this is not an isolated case but rather the rule.

What an amazing restaurant! Delicious food, welcoming staff and views for whole Berlin. It doesn't matter if you eat meat or you are a vegetarian - you will find something tasty in each case. I strongly recommend reserving a table few days before.

Food was lukewarm (that was what I wanted, but not mine). Prices very high, portions very small, I left hungry (price/performance 1 star) With 4 meals, 3 came at the same time one 10 minutes later One service was very friendly, the other two were the opposite. There is a water flat rate, but we weren't informed about it when ordering, even though we ordered water for everyone. (Is it better to bill it individually?)

Unfortunately totally disappointing. All starters were served carelessly on a cake stand, without any explanation about the individual dishes. We were also told that we could no longer order dessert because we only had the table for 30 minutes. There was simply not enough time for an enjoyable meal and overall a very disappointing experience..

The location, the food and the service are simply brilliant here. For our birthday we had a delicious meal here above the rooftops of Berlin and then ended the evening next door in the Monkey Bar. The Balagan menu to share worked great. However, don't forget: Without a timely reservation it will be really difficult here.

Zum Geburtstag haben wir hier über den Dächern Berlins sehr lecker gegessen und im Anschluss den Abend noch nebenan in der Monkey Bar ausklingen lassen. Das Balagan Menü zum Teilen hat super geklappt. Jedoch nicht vergessen: Ohne rechtzeitige Reservierung wird es hier echt schwierig.

Great View, Underwhelming Food NENI Berlin has an amazing view and a stylish atmosphere, but the food really let us down. We started with the hummus trio — it tasted like something from the supermarket but in a fancier plate. For mains, we had the chicken schnitzel (very oily) and the Jerusalem vegan plate (way too salty and heavily seasoned). We only managed to eat half of those. Service was friendly, but the waiters were almost running the whole time. It felt chaotic, and during our two-hour stay, we heard 2 times broken plates and one of them broke a stack of plates. They really need to slow down a bit and create a more relaxed vibe. This place could be great if the food matched the setting. For now, it’s all about the view, not the taste.

We've been to Neni more often now, and the food has always been excellent. Apparently the map has been changed - unfortunately not for the better in my opinion. The salad was disappointing: the first was way too sour, the second was too salty. The vegetables were barely cut and the lettuce leaves were so big that they could hardly be eaten. Since there was hardly any response to my first complaint, I didn't complain about the second salad at all and left it alone. The burnt chicken skewer and the three shrimps on the plate just made me shake my head. When I clearly stated again when paying that the salad was inedible, there was again hardly any reaction. For the price the food was a disgrace.

Great restaurant, service and ambience. Good and friendly atmosphere, view of the zoo and Ku’damm. And of course very tasty oriental food. A great discovery for me and I will certainly recommend it to my friends and acquaintances.

Good food, but the service is extremely slow. The prices are pretty high (20-35€ for mains) but somewhat expected for the location. We ordered the 3 hummus plates for 20€ and on the menu it said it comes with pita. Only when we asked where the pita is, they told us they’re out of it. The food is pretty good though and the views are absolutely spectacular.

Wir waren am 15.9 im NENI Berlin. Ausgezeichneter Service und Freundlichkeit des Personals, vor allem JUDITH, die uns an diesem Abend bediente. After a shopping spree in a bikini, you like to end up at Neni to satisfy your hunger! The Neni is an absolute hotspot panoramic restaurant with a great view over Berlin and the zoo! It's worth a visit just for the view. Often full and reservations at prime times are absolutely essential. Delicious Israeli delicacies give you an idea of ​​the Orient! The menu is filled with Persian, Mediterranean and even Austrian influences. The point is deducted because the prices of the NENIS are tough. Unfortunately, some dishes can be improved in terms of taste. Tip: Be sure to order a large selection of dishes together and share them with all the guests at the table. This gives you an insight into the entire menu.

Good food at acceptable prices.

Ok so my waiter Julian recommended things that I might not have thought to order so I trusted him..: and I never ever had anything artichoke dish like it.:: my entire experience was great . I thought where to go for dinner the next night .:: and there was other things I was interested in trying. Julian had told me to try the salmon sashimi the first night and I came back to try it!! Wow This mix of sweet soy or something on this super fresh fish. I just hope you come here and listen to what they suggest. Everyone here is lovely and I the vibe , sunset and view of the zoo are just the icing on the cake!!! I hope to come back to Berlin one day and come here again. If I lived here more they had a toronto location I would be a regular 🖤

Were at Neni Berlin today. I was there years ago and didn't have the worst memories. This time I found it disappointing, which is probably also due to the fact that I don't belong to the young, new chic class b-c that dominates there. Prices like from another star, main courses are the size of a starter, taste ok but that's it. When I requested or asked for a pita, it was explained to me that it would cost €1.50 extra, which in itself is a disgrace, but it is even worse to even mention it in this shop: the waiter makes a big fuss about the shop's philosophy, of course it's with you (I'm over 60) and then pours the €10.00 0.1L of wine into the old glass. I'm happy to pay good money for good service, but not here anymore or I'm too old to understand the philosophy of the store

It was so delicious! We actually only tried a few starters - the Mezze Trio & Curry Mango Hummus - which came with pita bread. Everything was incredibly delicious. We will definitely visit a Neni restaurant again and try the main courses next time. The greeting from the kitchen was also delicious - the olives (for me as a non-olive fan) were a dream, I finally got to try delicious olives & changed my mind about olives. To drink there was a homemade iced tea, deliciously refreshing - perfect for spring and summer. Overall the noise level is a bit high but that's just a personal impression.

The NENI Berlin offers the finest cuisine. The quality and taste combination exceeded my wishes, five full stars for this. The atmosphere means that the restaurant is hopelessly fully booked, we reserved three weeks in advance and didn't get a seat before 8 p.m. that week, which unfortunately meant a bit of a wait in the end because the table wasn't ready yet...a shame for our predecessors at the table too. The view of the city and the zoo is unique. Unfortunately, the restaurant is also very loud. Which brings me to the service, which in our case was tried hard but also overwhelmed. A restaurant with this standard and this price range should be able to ensure that you don't have to wait 25 minutes for your first wine order. This includes eye contact with the guest; "walking past the table without looking" is rather counterproductive here. I see opportunities for optimization here.

The taste is absolutely great and each one is unique with fresh herbs or aromatic sauces. The staff is friendly and quite quick. The prices are okay when you take the location and view into account. If that doesn't interest you, there are also cheaper alternatives to oriental cuisine that also offer very good food. Only the chairs didn't invite you to linger for a long time. I found them extremely uncomfortable. But you may not want to sit here longer than eating. That's exactly what I would definitely come back for!

The waiters were really very accommodating and always paid attention. The wine advice was very good. The food was rather mixed. The meat starters were really tasty, as was the fish. But all the dishes that had some hummus in the recipe were way too much hummus. For example, there was hardly any taste of eggplant. Because there was a lot of humus in every dish, the three of us were full very quickly. In terms of taste, it would have been OK for a starter, but with 2 starters and 2 main courses with a very strong hummus taste it was just way too much...

Great place, just the feeling of looking over Berlin/Tiergarten/Zoo etc.. it's worth being there

The food was excellent and the service was great too. Since I have a mango allergy, I had to send the Jerusalem plate back because there was nothing with mango on the menu, but luckily I recognized an orange sauce and asked what it was. But it was taken back without any problem and I got a new plate. Maybe it would be good to list the ingredients in more detail on the menu. Other dishes had mango on them, so I knew I should avoid them, but unfortunately this one didn't have it. Otherwise the Neni is really wonderful, great view! The food tasted great. The cabbage was DELICIOUS, as was the hummus. I still have one suggestion for improvement: The two tables on the edge of the window could be a little further apart from the next table. Because it was very quiet (we were there from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.), our neighbors could completely hear our conversations, which I found very unpleasant. It was as if they were sitting with us. If you then want to have a private conversation, it is difficult. A little more distance would be great.

Food was great, I specially liked the fried potato skins side, although rib eye steak and wagyu kebab were also delicious but a bit too salty.

The Neni restaurant is located on the top floor of the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin, a charming location with a 360-degree view of all of Berlin. The venue is designed with style, featuring a beautiful surprise effect in the bathroom area. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, perfect for a lunch with friends or a romantic meeting. The finely prepared food is pleasing both to the eye and to the palate, with reasonably accessible prices, especially considering that we are in one of the most important areas of the city. Spending a Sunday lunch there with friends was a wonderful experience, and we definitely recommend giving it a try.

The food and service were very good but quite expensive. What really bothered me was the volume. We were in a group of 8 people and even though I was sitting in the middle, I couldn't really hear the people at the end of the table

The food didn't carry me away. There was nothing out of the ordinary for me and there were no unknown taste explosions either. Sometimes a bit bland and carelessly prepared. Don't really understand the hype. The ambience is okay, in the winter it tends to be very cool at the window in the long run. The volume is enormous.

I've been here at the NENI several times because it's one of my favorite hotels here in Berlin. It's always great here, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice and you can meet lots of really relaxed people here. The reason today to finally write a review is Rochi and Christian. Both are so wonderfully authentic, unpretentiously funny, honest and attentive that it's just really fun to spend a few hours here. Therefore my recommendation: definitely come here and have a good time!

Sind wieder aufgestanden, da in den ersten 20 Minuten nichts passiert ist bis auf den Erhalt der Karten… leider schlechter Service.

Die Lokation hoch über der City West ist schon ziemlich das Beste, wo man in Berlin mit Weitblick essen gehen kann. Man fährt im 25h Hotel mit dem Lift in die 10. Etage, wird dort freundlich empfangen und, nach erfolgter Reservierung platziert. Das Essen ist anders als sonst, man bekommt alles auf kleinen Tellern serviert und jeder isst davon. So einen leckeren Humus habe ich vorher noch nicht gehabt, der knusprige Rosenkohl in Orangensauce war genau so unerwartet ungewöhnlich im Geschmack. Aber das Dessert Kanafeh müsst ihr probieren. Lauwarm nicht zu süß aber knusprig, unglaublich lecker. Die Weinauswahl ist top.

Voy a repetir lo que dijo un crítico anterior. Sentí como si tan pronto como no hablaba el idioma local, el camarero nos puso en su lista nocturna y nos dio un servicio mínimo. I ate the main course HAMSHUKA for €21. The portion would have been too small even for a starter. The minced meat would have fit heaped onto a tablespoon, the tomato salsa onto a teaspoon. The taste, however, was consistently good. If you can get a window seat facing the zoo, you'll have a sensational view. The staff is competent, helpful and friendly. So in the future I can imagine stopping by the window with a visitor to Berlin for a drink, but I won't eat there again. The entrance could be better signposted. Very cool shop with variety on the menu. A bit hidden but great location.

Great food, wonderful ambience! Unfortunately, the service is not very attentive and could be better. We often had to call until someone came and we weren't immediately asked if we wanted something to eat or drink even though there wasn't much going on.

The food was very balanced and healthy. The portions are appropriate for fine dining. Personally, I would have liked a little more courage when it came to seasoning. We chose the menu for 2 people. The Brussels sprouts and sea bream were very unusual but well prepared. Will definitely come back again.

Great ambience on the 10th floor with a view over Berlin and the Tiergarten. You can also see animals in daylight. Be sure to reserve and ask for a table by the window. There is also an outside terrace. Card small but very nice. High quality food with an Israeli touch. Be sure to try the Moroccan cigars as a starter.

Fantastic mix of international flavors. The dishes are creative, full of fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. The mezze platter and hummus are particularly enjoyable. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, with a beautiful view over the rooftops of Berlin. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a special culinary experience in Berlin.

Es war großartig! Das Neni ist im 10. Stock. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick über Berlin und den Zoo. Wir hatten reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Trotz hohen Gästeaufkommens immer ein Lächeln, zwischendurch gefragt, ob wir zufrieden sind oder noch Wünsche offen sind. Wir waren zu viert, hatten unterschiedliche Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte und waren alle vom Essen begeistert! Das Essen duftete schon so schön und dann die Geschmacksaromen … Meine Vorspeise war das gebratene Artischockenherz - mega!!!
