Ambiente und Service waren einfach hervorragend !!! Herzlichen Dank. Das Essen war sehr lecker, nur die Weine sind zu teuer.

Es war großartig! Das Neni ist im 10. Stock. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick über Berlin und den Zoo. Wir hatten reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Trotz hohen Gästeaufkommens immer ein Lächeln, zwischendurch gefragt, ob wir zufrieden sind oder noch Wünsche offen sind. Wir waren zu viert, hatten unterschiedliche Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte und waren alle vom Essen begeistert! Das Essen duftete schon so schön und dann die Geschmacksaromen … Meine Vorspeise war das gebratene Artischockenherz - mega!!!

Good food but for us, too much sauce in a plate. We loved the wagyu kebab but no so much the jerusalem teller. Great pita bread! The waiter was really professional and attentive. Amazing views of Berlin.

Great restaurant, we felt very comfortable. The view over the zoo is wonderful. The portions are very large, so no one has to leave hungry. The food is of the highest quality.

In terms of ambience, it's a wonderful restaurant with a great view of the Berlin Zoo. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't impress me in terms of taste, but that's a matter of taste anyway. The menu is almost illegible in terms of terminology and some of the service only speaks English.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Abend. Unser Kellner Robert war äußerst höflich und zuvorkommend. So soll es sein!

Definitely a place to visit at any time of day or night. Large windows overlooking the Berlin Zoo and informal furnishings create a unique environment. The name of the restaurant NENI contains the initials of the 4 children of the founders of the restaurant itself. Hospitality and familiarity are put first in this environment by the entire staff. Wide choice of vegetarian, Israeli and international dishes. Highly recommended “Mezzo Trio”. On the same floor as the restaurant there is a Cocktail Bar, or "Monkey Bar", suitable for aperitifs and after-dinner cocktails.

Alles super gut außer dass 10€ fur 0.125l Wein wirklich etwas viel sind und ein Erwachsener von einer Hauptspeise kaum satt wird. Aber geschmacklich wirklich herausragend. Sehr netter Service

Die Hauptspeisen werden mit vielen Zutaten beschrieben, man bekommt dann aber nur Humus mit verschiedenen Topics und Brot. Es fehlt mir ein Angebot an Gemüse wie gebackener Blumenkohl und Auberginen. Dafür ist es zu hochpreisig.

Das Essen war sehr gut, mit einer tollen Atmosphäre. Auch der Service war, wie alles andere, hervorragend. Es war somit ein gelungener Abend mit tollem Essen und wir werden es mit Sicherheit bald wiederholen.

Neni has been one of my most favorite Restaurants in Berlin for the last several years. In particular, I have recently been to Neni about ten times over the last few months with various friends and partners. Today's visit is just as nice as always. What's made it more interesting and enjoyable today was that all three of us (all returning guests) were again pleasantly delighted. We've had a total blast not only with our own choices of drinks entrees as well as dessert from the menu but also from the thoughtful recommendations of our wonderful host Judith who has always been not only very professional pleasant and respectful, but also equally knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Surprisingly and not surprisingly, she remembered what I ordered from my previous visits. Of course the management deserved credit by staffing the best people on the team and the entire team did a great job making customers like myself feeling the urge to comeback all the time. By the way, I have never done any reviews before but somehow felt compelled today to share my experience and appreciation for the first time.

Wir haben das Menü mit Weinbegleitung gewählt und waren vom Essen begeistert! Leider lässt der Service zu wünschen übrig. Sie sind freundlich, wirkten aber sehr unprofessionell. Wir hatten gerade am Aperitif genippt als schon die Vorspeisen kamen, der Wein kam dann etwas später auch dazu. Also am Timing müsste noch etwas gearbeitet werden. Der Service passt nicht zum coolen Ambiente und zur hervorragenden Küche...

Der Kellner Manny hat einen super Service gemacht.

A really nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was tasty and well prepared. The service was friendly but could have been a little more attentive. All in all, a nice place that I would happily recommend.

The food wasn't sensational but good. The atmosphere is bistro. The service seems overwhelmed. From the guests' point of view, there are a lot of service people running around there, they are also very nice, but they have no overview and are poorly organized. We had to ask again and again, otherwise we would have needed not only 3 but 4 hours instead of the specified 2 hours.

La impresión inicial fue genial. El camarero era experto y amable. Las cosas iban genial al principio, pero desafortunadamente las cosas se deshicieron a partir de ahí. Los aperitivos y las bebidas salieron rápidamente. Entonces nos informaron que nuestro camarero se iba de descanso y su colega herida nos cuidaba en su descanso. Pasaron 30 minutos sin nuestras entradas. Cuando nuestro camarero regresó, claramente nos estaba ignorando. En este punto nos dimos cuenta de que el personal de cocina estaba rompiendo la cocina. Una vez que pudimos encontrar a nuestro camarero y preguntar sobre el resto de nuestra comida. Se dio cuenta de que había olvidado hacer el resto de nuestro pedido y ahora la cocina estaba cerrada. El camarero y el gerente fueron desdeñosos y se ofrecieron a la solución. MIS hijos quedaron hambrientos y tuvimos que buscar comida adicional para nuestra familia en nuestra última noche en Berlín. Muy lamentable, ya que la poca comida que recibimos era muy buena. ME PUSE EN CONTACTO CON LA OFICINA DE NEGOCIOS AL DÍA SIGUIENTE. The staff were wonderful - very accomodating, helpful with questions and generally nice in an easy-going manner. Our food was excellent. The portions may not seem gigantic, but they don't need to be as we were all (4 people with big appetites) completely full and satisfied. And for such a large space, we found it not too loud at all. And then of course there's the magnificent view over the zoo! Thank you NENI Team!

Sehr leckeres Essen und der Service war absolut top. Einfache Sitzgelegenheiten (Bänke) habe ich nicht unbedingt erwartet, hat aber gut gepasst. Der Geräuschpegel, auch von der benachbarten Monkey-Bar, war wahrnehmbar, ging aber noch gerade so, dass es nicht zu unangenehm war. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Abend mit lecker Essen und Trinken.

Neni offers delicious food in a cool atmosphere. I don’t think the “€€€” is a fair assessment as the mains can be shared. It’s also vegan friendly which is great! We were only disappointed by the service: the staff was very long to come take our order despite not having many tables to serve, wasn’t particularly welcoming or friendly and overall we felt quite ignored.

Tolles Restaurant mit wunderschönem Blick über dir Stadt.

Das essen ist ok. Aber auch nicht mehr. Da gibt es viel besseres in Berlin was levantinische Küche angeht. Da es dann auch noch teuer ist lohnt es sich nicht wirklich. Insbesondere da man als Gast des Restaurant in der angrenzenden monkey bar dann eher schlecht behandelt wird.

Das NENI ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit einem tollen Ausblick über Berlin, sehr gutem Service und gutem Essen. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil wir unsere Jacken über die Stuhllehne hängen mussten, was ich für ein Restaurant dieser Preiskategorie etwas überraschend fand. Zudem war es im Restaurant recht kühl. Als Beilage wollte ich die levantinischen Kroketten bestellen, welche leider aus waren. Daher habe ich mich für die knusprigen Kartoffelschalen entschieden, die leider total angebrannt waren. Sie waren zum großen Teil schwarz wie Kohlebriketts und haben auch so geschmeckt. Schade, denn sowohl das Restaurant als auch die Küche haben großes Potenzial. Aber zu einem rundum perfekten Erlebnis fehlt es an der einen und anderen Stelle. Trotzdem hatten wir einen schönen Abend mit gutem Essen und Trinken, in schöner Atmosphäre und sehr freundlichem Service. Ich würde wiederkommen und kann es auch weiter empfehlen.

Essen super gut und eine echte Alternative mal. Sehr gute Qualität und gute Abstimmung in der Auswahl der Zutaten. Service könnte verbessert werden und optimiert. Getränke kamen viel später als Vorspeise. Prozesszeiten viel zu lange. Auf höfliche Nachfrage bzgl Getränke : " ja wird schon bestimmt bald kommen..." Schade.

It was an overall disappointing experience for me and my husband because of the rude staff. In my opinion, the food wasn't appropriate for the price. The waiter took the order without notes, which resulted in a side dish being forgotten.VW

Very tasty food, but... A skewer for €28? This is very, very juicy. Okay with two skewers... But one? Phew. Great restaurant, but a bit too crunchy for my taste.

Very tasty food, good view and good service.

Essen war hervorragend. Geschmacklich kommt man hier immer wieder auf neue Genüsse. Auch, dass man beim Zubereiten der Speisen zuschauen kann, gefällt mir sehr gut. Ambiente ist sensationell. Der Blick über den Tiergarten lässt einem schon beim Hinsetzen zur Entspannung kommen.

Immer mal wieder ein Highlight unserer Berlin-Reisen: Leckere Küche bei überwältigendem Ausblick

Ein tolles Erlebnis war die Vielfalt des Balagan-Menüs. Es gab abwechslungsreiche Vor- und Hauptspeisen sowie Desserts. Dazu wurde die Gerichte jeweils geduldig erklärt. Das Essen war fantastisch!

We had a beautiful view while having dinner with colleagues. But this has to be deserved for the host, Neni's. A expressed wish, for health reasons, not to be able to eat mint; it was served with mint, not potatoes, potatoes were served. The statement that there is a new kitchen crew present and saying "Shit..." to me about this does not show collegiality between service and kitchen and is of no interest to me as a guest! There wasn't anything like that when I was a restaurant owner...but you're either a restaurateur or you're just doing a job here... Then I had to pay for the meal in full. No alternative? All I can say is that those who sit high can fall low. And that we weren't allowed to sit together; There was no way to do that, I was then made aware of the imprecise assignment of the space. Are there 1st and 2nd class here? And then the receptionist told me in advance that if we were more than 10 people, we wouldn't be able to make an individual choice of food. Service is better! I perceive a more attractive choice in a good restaurant with a view. Price performance is better. All the best to you.

Ich kenne das Neni seit seiner Eröffnung und bin mit Abständen immer mal wieder dort, genieße die Atmosphäre und das Essen, sowie den tollen Ausblick. Bitte weiter so, alles andere wäre schade.

Hervorragendes Essen, welches vorallem in der Vielfalt der Aromen und Gewürze überzeugt hat. Außergewöhnliche Aussicht mit Blick über die Dächer Berlins und den Zoo. Aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal. Entspannte Stimmung.

Reservierung scheint unbedingt nötig, war aber auch kurzfristig möglich. Wie immer wunderbare israelische / levantinische Küche, es ist fast zu schade, nur zu zwei hinzugehen, da man so gar nicht soviele verschiedene Sachen probieren kann. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam, alles in allem ein wunderbarer Hochzeitstagsausflug nach Berlin. Ich freue mich aufs nächste Mal!

Tolle Location, tolles Essen und in jedem Fall mal etwas Anderes. Die Portionen könnten für diese Preise aber schon etwas größer sein. Selbst unser Kind war nicht wirklich satt.

Food is amazing and definitely worth of every single penny. Some Staff is so rude I don’t know why but they are always on some kind of ego trip. If you are brown person just be prepared that you might get treated differently.

Wir haben 40 Minuten auf unsere Getränke gewartet. Gruß aus der Küche kam mit der Vorspeise. Wir waren zu 4. und bekamen nur 2 Pita Brote( 4 bestellte Menüs). Erst auf Nachfrage bekamen wir 2 mehr. Der Kellner der uns die Vorspeise gebracht hat, zitierte die 2 rauchenden Personen (40 min gewartet) mit der Aussage „Ich habe das Essen mitgebracht“ nach drinnen zum Essen. Hauptspeise waren 3 Gerichte und lediglich 1 Beilage. Definitiv 2 Beilagen zu wenig bei 4 Person und bestelltem Menü das mit Vielfalt beworben wird. Dessert war ausreichend doch leider der Brownie sehr trocken, Cheesecake Standardware und lediglich die Kugel Eis war für uns die Küche des „Neni“.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr freundliches Personal, es waren 4 Personen, sehr freundlich, es ging allerdings etwas der Überblick verloren, wer hauptsächlich, die Person ist, die bei unserer Bedienung den Hut auf hat. Perfektes Essen und Getränke, sehr gut angerichtet, tolles Geschirr. Vielen Dank

Coole location mit Blick über den Zoologischen Garten. Freundliches Personal, Speisen exotisch und schmackhaft; aber Portionen stimmen nicht zum Preis. Sitzen auf unbequemer Bank und Stühlen. Küche sieht aus wie bei IKEA.

Ich freue mich so viele positive Bewertungen zum NENIs zu lesen, denn das Essen ist phenomenal! Leider haben wir wohl einen Tag erwischt, an dem das Personal weniger aufmerksam und herzlich war, als sonst. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns auf ein motiviertes Team :)

Das essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker! Wenn auch von der Preis-Leistung etwas zu teuer. Leider war der Service nicht gut. Alle waren freundlich & wirkten kompetent aber eskalieren einfach niemand. Unsere Teller standen leer auf dem Tisch, das Wasser & der Wein waren ebenfalls leer.. Aber keine Chance, dass das jemand sieht. Das ist sehr ärgerlich. Dafür kam das Essen aber viel zu schnell. ;)

After several years of using this restaurant for a family breakfast on Christmas Eve, the service has unfortunately become steadily worse. This year the buffet was presented more carelessly - for example, rancid-looking, bending slices of cheese (despite the diverse selection on offer). In particular, at the end of breakfast time there was such an inappropriate noise pollution from "vacuuming" and a workman that we just shook our heads (especially at the new price of 32 euros per person for non-guests of the hotel). We probably won't come back. The whole thing gives the impression that there are too many demotivated staff without clear leadership, which probably explains the prices but is ultimately destructive.

Nous avons profité de ce restaurant 2 fois à l’occasion de notre séjour à Berlin. La qualité est au rendez-vous et aussi le tarif qui est correct. La nourriture est de très bonne facture dans un endroit recherché à Berlin qui est d’ailleurs au même étage que le Monkey Bar. Bonne dégustation

Unsere Reservierung lag vor, der uns zugewiesene Tisch entsprach unseren Wünschen. Das levantinische Essen entsprach genau unserem Geschmack. Ein Highlight! Klasse Service, sehr aufmerksam und schnell, behielt in einem sehr lebhaften Ambiente stets den Überblick. Jederzeit wieder.

The restaurant is very located and with good view from top to the zoo or to the Christmas market, depending on which side. There is an evelator go directly to 10th floor to the restaurant. The food is quite good, a little bit expensive though. Service is also good. Reservation can be done online.

Die Piza Brote waren in der Mikrowelle erwärmt. Hat man zu lange gewartet, waren dies eher wie ein Hundespielzeug. Der Brownie war ein sehr trockener Schokokuchen. Limo war im Grunde nur Eiswürfel mit ein wenig Limo. Kurz gewartet hatte man dünne Limo mit wenig Heschmack.

Our first time to this restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food. Robert was exceptional in his recommendations . We have traveled far and we are all foodies. We definitely will recommend this restaurant to friends and family in the future.

An sich war der Abend sehr schön und das Personal auch wirklich freundlich. Leider hatte man das Gefühl, dass das Personal aufgrund von Personalmangel ein wenig überfordert gewesen ist. Wir haben am Anfang auf Allergien aufmerksam gemacht und das wurde leider nur teilweise berücksichtigt und als wir dann den Teller zurückgehen lassen musste, kam erneut ein Teller, der auch für uns Allergene enthielt. Das ist wirklich schade, weil wir uns sehr auf den Abend gefreut haben.

I have been visiting Neni in Berlin for years. The quality of the food has deteriorated enormously. What happened to the Sabich? Not so the prices, they have doubled. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately I won't be going there anymore.

Essen war in Ordnung bis gut. Der Service war unorganisiert und unaufmerksam. Der zugewiesene Tisch war für einer Dreiergruppe unpassend. Insgesamt damit nur ein eher unterdurchschnittliches Erlebnis.

Cool, modern location on the 10th floor, super tasty, very interesting cuisine and extremely friendly service. Just right if you want to treat yourself and your guests to something special. Our menu included as much of everything as you like. You had to be very careful that there was still enough room in your stomach for the great desserts. There is a parking garage, but you can easily get there on foot from the Zoo S/U station in just a few minutes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute highlight in Berlin! The three of us stayed at the Neni Berlin and had an overall successful visit. The breathtaking view of the Berlin Zoo is an experience in itself - watching the animals from here while you eat is simply unique. The cheesecake was to die for – creamy, delicious and definitely a treat! Although the restaurant is not cheap, the fantastic view and the great ambience are absolutely worth the price. A perfect place for special moments and enjoyable hours – we would love to come back! Many thanks to the Neni team

Highly recommended. Friendly staff and delicious food. Not exactly cheap but high quality. We'll definitely be back. Also highly recommended for vegetarians. Update: we were back at Neni after about a year (4 adults and 1 child). Since we weren't very hungry, we only wanted to order the menu for 4 people. Unfortunately this was not possible, we had to order a fifth main course. We also had to wait about 1.5 hours between the starter and the main course. We then had to have dessert packed because it was almost 11.30 p.m. by the time we finished the main course. The waiter was super friendly, but with mistakes like this you expect a little more than just an apology. Therefore from now on only 3 stars for the ambience.

Ein wahrer Genuss! Das Restaurant hat mich mit seiner authentischen persischen Küche vollkommen begeistert. Die Gerichte sind nicht nur unglaublich aromatisch, sondern auch wunderschön angerichtet. Besonders das frisch gebackene Lavash-Brot hat mich geschmacklich in die Welt Persiens entführt. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, und das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Man spürt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird – sei es in der Zubereitung der Speisen oder im Service. Wer die persische Küche liebt oder sie kennenlernen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp, den ich jedem empfehlen kann!

Qualität des Essens war schon mal besser. In einer offenen Küche müsste der Koch eigentlich wissen, dass Gäste auch manchmal zuschauen. Es war erschreckend, wie lustlos teilweise Speisen auf den Teller geknallt wurden oder dass mit tropfenden Fleisch vom Herd zum Pass gelaufen wird. Interessant ist auch zu sehen, wie oft der Service an bereits verlassenen aber noch nicht abgeräumten Tischen vorbei läuft.

Immer wieder ein Highlight! Ich komme so gerne mit meinen Mädels ins NENI – es ist einfach ein besonderer Ort. Das Ambiente und die Aussicht sind unschlagbar, und das Essen überzeugt jedes Mal. Ein absolutes Muss ist das Muscovado-Eis – bitte nehmt es nie von der Karte! Ich träume noch immer davon.

Get out of here! Ate rib eye steak with potatoes and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten in my life. Ordered medium well, but the steak came completely with the consistency of a ripe. They kindly corrected the order and brought a new steak. Meat was okay, but the sauce was just subpar, really. Simply a mix between sweet and sour like Vietnamese and tomato sauce like on a pizza. And the entire steak was simply marinated in this disgusting mixture. With all respect and love, whoever cooked that belongs in prison. It was just extremely disgusting. Ambience is great, service okay but food... the worst rib eye of my life.

We ate here with 4 people. We had reserved a table in advance. The atmosphere is very cozy and we had a fantastic view of the zoo from the window on the 10th floor. The food was super tasty. Starter, main course, dessert - everything is simply delicious. The staff is very attentive. We had a wonderful evening at NENI.

The food was basically good and nicely prepared, but 30 euros for a main course without a side dish is simply too expensive. The location is great and the service is great. But it's too expensive for me for a quick lunch. Tap water 4.50 per head. For two of us, we spent around 70 euros for 1 salad, 1 main course with a side dish and water. Too much

Außer der schönen Aussicht nichts weltbewegendes. Essen normal, gibt es in jedem anderen Restaurant mit levantinischer Küche auch. Sicherlich auch in gleicher Qualität. Wahrscheinlich zum halben Preis. Wir hätten uns bei dem Preisniveau mehr Kreativität gewünscht. Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gab einen israelischen Wein auf der Weinkarte. Auch da hätten wir mehr erwartet.

The view is super beautiful and the service was very attentive. But I would rather come here in summer to really enjoy the view. The food was tasty, but not particularly good. In my opinion, there is better Israeli food in Berlin (in a less nice atmosphere).
