The food was ok, tasty, the service quick and polite, the atmosphere cosy. A little touristy, though. The music, for some reason, Latin and Brasilian. All in all, a nice place.

Fresh fish with lots of vegetables at a fair price. Hectic, changing but fast service. Tight tables, crowds, loud groups, annoying constant sound.

First of all: the food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio seemed reasonable to us. Organization is underground!! We had already booked a table 14 days in advance. When we arrived we were given two tables to choose from: one in the passage for 2 and one on the side for 4. We took the latter and ordered an aperitif. While we were still drinking we had to move to a table for two. It was okay and we thought “it could happen.” During our stay, almost all of the guests had to move, which at some point was just annoying because the move took place during the meal. We could have moved again during the meal because our table was very small for the food we ordered. But we declined during the meal. The Averna came without ice and lemon, which suits the overwhelmed staff. Anyone who loves things loud and chaotic is in good hands here. Everyone else should avoid the restaurant.

My son, my husband and I were there spontaneously, it was no problem at all and we were allowed to sit down straight away. The selection was very large. The food was on point. Staff super attentive and polite. The boss was extremely active throughout.

So I'll put it this way. If you want to eat fish or seafood...then I can highly recommend this restaurant. I don't know of any restaurant yet where the fish is on display and I can watch how the fish etc. is prepared. The boss serves personally here... and is very attentive... I sometimes had the feeling that he was reading my wishes from my lips. I found a restaurant here where I have to redefine my passion for fish... simply delicious.

Wir waren an zwei Abenden hintereinander im La Sepia essen, weil es uns schon am ersten Abend so super gefallen und geschmeckt hat. Toller Service, ein herzlicher Chef und ein umwerfend leckeres Essen haben uns restlos überzeugt. Bei unseren nächsten Besuch in Berlin ist das unsere erste Adresse!

Tapas sehr gut, nicht gerade billig, schöne Auswahl. Sardellen, Octopus, Datteln ,…, dann Garnelen und Paella, das war alles lecker. Wer Fisch mag, hier seit Ihr richtig!

Viel zu teuer, satt ist niemand geworden. Paniertes Schnitzel etwa 3 mm dick, dazu eine Handvoll Pommes 22€ nochwas. Mein Kollege mußte eine Fischsuppe nachbestellen, weil er von seiner Hauptspeise nicht satt wurde. Im Gegensatz zu mir hat es ihm allerdings geschmeckt.

I was very disappointed with the food and the service. The staff was very friendly, but spoke neither German, Spanish nor Portuguese. Even English was difficult. The food was carelessly prepared and the goods were not fresh.

We always combine our Berlin trip with a visit to the restaurant at La Sepia. We really enjoy being there and always come back.

The owner of this restaurant - possibly it was also a head waiter who acted as if he owned the place - is unbeatable in terms of unfriendliness and becomes aggressive towards the guests. The food is also rather middle class. Stay away from this store!

Tapas were nice but the Paella was below average for me. The waiters were really nice and polite but the manager or the owner was a bit tough and gave nervous vibes. The price was a bit much too for the portion. Wouldn’t come again.

Quite inconspicuous from the outside, very nicely traditionally furnished inside. You can even watch it being prepared. The aquarium with the animals is a matter of taste, but is absolutely common. The staff is very quick, friendly and very helpful. The boss sometimes comes to the table and asks whether everyone is feeling well. The food is top notch, it takes about 30 minutes for the paella to be ready, but it's definitely worth it! Price/performance ratio good for the region. We'll definitely be back 😊👍🏻 PS: It's best to make a reservation, demand is high

Waren heute im La Sepia essen gewesen. Besser vorher reservieren sonst kann es passieren, dass zu gewissen Zeiten nichts mehr frei ist Es lohnt sich!!! Unsere Fisch pfanne war frisch und lecker und Ansprechend zubereitet 😋 Der Service ist aufmerksam und höflich. Der Sangria schlägt beim Preis ordentlich zu buche .5L 19.90€ Spanische Fischpfanne 24.90€ Schönes und sauberes Lokal auch die Toiletten. Die Speisen kann man am Tresen sehen, sowie die Zubereitung der Speisen!! Toll

Great Spanish-Portuguese restaurant with a very good menu and a large selection of diverse dishes, and especially fresh fish and seafood. The service is super friendly and attentive, the atmosphere invites you to linger and have a wonderful long evening. There is enough space. We paid about €85 for two people with starters and dessert. The vegetarian and chicken paella tasted great. At around €22 per pan it was also reasonable. Like the potato soup beforehand, the Creme Catalana was also very tasty. All in all, highly recommended and a really great restaurant.

Das Restaurant La Sepia ist immer einen Lunchbesuch wert. Ich kenne es seit mehr als 15 Jahren und die Qualität der Mittagsmenüs ist gleichbleibend hoch. Letztens war ich mit Freunden aus Dresden da zum Lunch - das Lachsfilet war hervorragend, der Service zuvorkommend und der Rosé schmackhaft und zum Essen passend.

My friend and I went to this restaurant with a small dog (which was in my friend's arms) and the owner of the place behaved very rudely. He didn't want us to stay in the restaurant because of the dog, and he only kicked us out of the restaurant because the girl next to him told him she didn't like the dog being in the restaurant. He came up to us rudely, took the menu and kicked us out for no reason! This is the most terrible experience.

Super portugiesisches Fischlokal am Kuhdamm in Berlin. Toller Service und die Qualität der Speisen war einwandfrei. Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen und unkomplizierten Abend im La Sepia. Sehr Empfehlenswert!

Super restaurant for Spanish and Portuguese food. The Aperol Maracuja is a must as an Aperitif. A wide choice of tapas, tasty Paella and fantastically grilled fish and seafood!

Ich bin etwas überrascht hinsichtlich der vorherigen schlechten Bewertungen. Wir kennen das Restaurant seit vielen Jahren und sind noch nie enttäuscht worden: aufmerksame, freundliche Bedienung Sehr gutes Essen, geschmacklich sehr gut Preislich für die Lage völlig ok Gut zu erreichen mit ÖPNV ...gerne immer wieder... Wir haben allerdings noch nie etwas anderes als "Fisch und Meeresfrüchte " gegessen. In unseren Augen ein Restaurant, das man in der prädestinierten Lage ohne schlechtes Gewissen besuchen kann.

We were here with friends. Service was okay, but the food was just too bad for the price. Only the tapas were okay. Fish and meat were fried to death. Absolutely not recommended. We were also informed by a gentleman in front of the restaurant that it was a tourist trap and that the owner was taking legal action against bad reviews on Google. That probably speaks for itself!!!

La Sepia Berlin gave us a friendly welcome and we were able to sit at the reserved table with 4 people. Drinks ordered and received, some bread and ajoli cream. Salad for everyone as a starter. Unfortunately, of the 4 tapas ordered as a starter, only 3 arrived and the fourth arrived late when asked. The starters were delicious! Then came the main course. We are at La Sepia in a restaurant that knows how to handle fish. The mixed fish platter: tuna and salmon were very dry and simply fried for too long. Plus a gamba, which was okay, and a sepia, which was also okay. As a side dish, some vegetables and 2 quarters of a potato. The mixed grill platter: the best part of the grill platter (chicken, pork, beef, lamb) was the vegetables! The meat was dry and fried until the end. Unfortunately we haven't had such a bad meal in a long time...what a shame! We chose the restaurant from the restaurant review book to try new places. No request for further drinks, dessert, coffee. All in all, unfortunately not a great new experience.

Langversion: Als Deutsch sprechender Spanier auf Reisen in Berlin freute ich mich auf spanische Küche. Das „La Sepia“ bewirbt sich medial als spanisch-portugiesisches Fischrestaurant. Zahlreiche Fischgerichte auf der Karte. Das Personal nett, Kommunikation wenig, denn weder Spanisch, noch Englisch und kaum Deutsch. Qualität der Speisen „mittelprächtig“, zwar nicht annähernd spanische Küche, aber mehr oder weniger genießbar. Preise allerdings deutlich überhöht. In Berlin dürfte es gewiss gute spanische Lokale geben. Das „La Sepia“ gehört m.E. nicht dazu.

No son españoles.! Demasiado caro para lo que te ponen. La cazuela de pescado , estaba buena. La ensalada de plástico , sin aliño.

When disappointment comes after setting certain expectations... The rather fair deal... The speed was more than short, 50 minutes to serve us the dishes that you can see in the photos, and no, they were not full, there were about 20 people in total, they served 3 tables before ours... Well, the quantities, you judge. Total disappointment, with this Spanish restaurant... in Berlin.

So we didn't like it. The service is terrible. There is no water bowl for your fingers for shrimp and lobster (even if you ask) and the bowls are left in front of you for ages.

A pleasant Spanish restaurant with a solid menu, attentive service and fair prices. Unfortunately, we weren't entirely impressed by the taste of the dishes - it lacked that certain something and the quality of my tuna steak was rather average. However, the complaint was taken seriously in the kitchen. Therefore a better rating.

Cheap and not very cheerful. We ordered a number of starters, many of them tasted as though they had been frozen. We both had fish as our main course, it was fine, a bit overcooked but ok. The atmosphere wasn’t great. When we tried to order coffee we were told the machine had been turned off - we weren’t the last there and it wasn’t very late. Poor selection of wine.

We waited too much, 2 hours just for drinks. It wasn't the weekend on Monday...

Value for money restaurant. They are trying to meet customer's needs. Food is o.k especially seafood. But meat is not as good as seafood. Please try to avoid busy time between 7 and 8pm considering the lack of waiters for serving.

Lured by the good-sounding menu and the good reviews, we ended up here. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The food was bland (grilled octopus, boquerones fritos, mereguez, calamari). Sometimes it gave the impression that the food had been reheated. The price-performance ratio was correspondingly inconsistent at €70 for 2 people.

Everything was great, the ambience, the music, the waiters, the food, the boss who also takes care of his clientele and the price was definitely fair and affordable, not like many other restaurants that charge more but the service and food are less good A visit to la Sepia is always worth it and recommended to everyone

The tapas bar La Sepia gave us a friendly welcome even shortly before the kitchen closed. Despite the late hour, there were delicious tapas that made the short stay absolutely worth it. A pleasant stop before we moved on. Gladly again!

Op zoek naar een leuke eettent in hartje Berlijn kwamen we La Sepia tegen. Zeer gevarieerde kaart met veel vis, schaal en schelpdieren. Hebben uitstekende sardientjes, inktvis, dorade en gamba’s gegeten. Alles super vers. Veel oog voor de details, zoals dat de gevarieerde groente als bijlage perfect beetgaar waren of dat de espresso in hete kopjes werd geserveerd. Al met al een absolute aanrader!

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit üppig bestückter Fischtheke. Tolle Speisekarte, ich wusste gar nicht, was ich nehmen sollte, so viele Gerichte hatten mich angesprochen. Am Ende wurde es die Zarzuela, die ganz toll war und eine Seafood Paella, die mehr Safran hätte vertragen können, aber auch gut war.

Was here yesterday with my wife and our friend. The service was good, friendly and unobtrusive. The starter platter was good, the fish platter was good, the tuna was too well done for me, but otherwise great. The pasta with scampi and mussels was also good, but I still wasn't entirely convinced.

It was ok in my opinion. Fish soup: fish was fresh, portion was small. Price value is off. Taste wise more tomatoy like an Italian tomato soup. Crab sticks: nice crunch, it’s not crab meat from the claw but more stuffed, mushed meat. I’d order that again Seezunge: price value off. Would skip next time. Sepia: not bad, four pieces but nothing special really also skip Paella: was nice, a bit too heavy on peas for my taste but overall I’d say the best dish we’ve had this evening. But also a 7/10 max. Mussels in white wine sauce: i wished for it to be more creamy or somewhat more special, was too boring for me. The caterpillar fish dish in red soupy white wine tomato base had only small amounts of fish. Steak: Not sure why it’s on the menu, you could make better steak at home. Overall portions are not as big and for price value I’d expect more. Taste wise it’s ok but not wow. Not something I’d come back for or would crave.

Unfortunately, the tapas were pretty bland and mediocre at best. The beer was at room temperature. Ambiance outside is well... The persona, on the other hand, was very nice and quick!

Very good experience with the entire work team, after a few months in Germany it was a good gastronomic experience being Germany And the waiter's treatment was actually very good.

Tapas were delicious especially the pimientos, merguez and patatas bravas. Also had mussels which were superb. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely spot for a relaxing lunch. 5 stars.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this Spanish restaurant and I have to say it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food is simply outstanding - every dish we tried was a real feast for the senses. The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced, and the presentation was also a feast for the eyes. The staff was just amazing! From the greeting to the farewell, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff's recommendations were always on point. It was obvious that they love their work and take pride in providing their guests with a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

Absolutely delicious food in a wonderful place that is La Sepia. I loved the place and the drinks were great there. And everything is clean and beautiful.

We went in with suitcases and the waiter was really helpful with our luggage, watched over them while we ate. I personally joined everyone a little bit later and still got amazing service. The young waiter was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there and chatting with us. He made us all happuer with his good spirits. The food was excellent. Some from our group said they had the best salad they had eaten during our stay in Berlin (they ate lots of salads during the week) and I enjoyed the rice. Simple foods that tasted amazing and the portions were big. The bathrooms were clean, and overall look of the restaurant was comfy and warm. It made us forget we're in busy street of Berlin. I loved the aquarium in the back of the restaurant. (Especially the fact it looked well kept). I would recommend this place for anyone who's after good food and a chance to relax a bit in the middle of the shopping.

La Sepia is a great Portuguese restaurant with authentic ambience and cool staff! All fish lovers are in the right place here and can enjoy delicious food! I really enjoyed it and we'll be back. Thumbs up and 5*!

The service is ok, they try. Red wine from the bottle too warm. Cold tapas - there wasn't even any ham next to the Spanish one. Manchego very tasty. Olive oil, served only on request - tasteless - rapeseed oil or, at best, pomace oil. Swordfish - not fresh, so to confuse it, it was fried to a crisp. Frozen vegetables. I don't recommend it, for your own good.
