Very good service, food was just average.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. There were too many fruit flies. Tip: Call an exterminator.

The restaurant is long and narrow, but the tables are spaced far enough apart that we were able to dine in peace. At first, it was quite noisy next to the group's table, but when another relatively quiet table became available, we were shown there and were able to enjoy conversation while eating. As it is a Mediterranean restaurant, the seafood was delicious. We left the wine selection to the staff, and everything was excellent.

La Sepia is a wonderful Spanish restaurant that instantly won us over ✨. We stumbled upon it quite by chance, and what luck 🍀! Since then, we know: We'll definitely be back again and again ❤️. The seafood is super fresh 🦐🐟 and simply delicious. The tapas are especially amazing 💥🍤 – authentic, lovingly prepared, and full of Spanish joie de vivre 🇪🇸☀️. Every plate is a little gem. Add to that a pleasant atmosphere and a real holiday feeling right in the heart of Berlin 🌊🍷. La Sepia is an absolute insider tip for anyone who loves honest Spanish cuisine and first-class tapas 😍. The service was quick. No one asked if we enjoyed the meal or anything. It was tasty, though. Good value for money. However, we didn't feel warmly welcomed, more like we were just passing through. We probably wouldn't have been able to stay without a reservation. Still, I'd recommend it. Oh, and maybe turn the music down a bit?

We decided to go to this restaurant on a whim and we have to say we weren't disappointed. The service was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was excellent. Only the laminated menu seemed a bit out of place, but I'm sure it's easy to clean 😉 We'll definitely be back!

We decided to have dinner at Sepia on short notice. We had made a reservation, but the restaurant wasn't completely full; nevertheless, I would recommend making one. Regarding the food: The bread and aioli to start were good. We also enjoyed our octopus on potatoes as an appetizer. Unfortunately, we weren't so impressed with our main courses. The paella was rather bland. We would also strongly advise against the meat option, as the pork and chicken were completely dry and difficult to chew. We also had the fresh lobster. The tail was unusually knobbly for a fresh lobster. Otherwise, the portion, along with the fish and vegetables, was generous and tasted quite good. However, we will probably continue trying other dishes. Overall, we don't plan on coming back anytime soon.

Cozy and authentically decorated. A restaurant with soul and good food. Will definitely come again. But unpleasant experience with older waiter who scolded the young students, shouted at them and chased them around. An old-fashioned tone seen with Scandinavian eyes. Everything else super good!

The food was tasty, but the fish was so dry, and for the price. It was quite small, the tapas mix was nice with a really good selection Edit: this place wasn't happy with this review and accused me of dafemation trying to delete it through Google - i wonder how many bad reviews they managed to remove like that. While my initial 3 stars are not inherently bad, i will now change it to 1 to reflect their attempt of bullying customers

I liked this place and had a good time, even if the ventilation was very poor - my clothes were smelly after spending an evening there, I had to wash everything. I did however love the food (which is the most important part) and had good value for money, good wine as well. Service was fast and good. The place was loud and atmospheric. Over all really good. Just please do something about the ventilation when you fry in oil - the smell spoiled the atmosphere for me. We walked in without reservations and got a great table, we got lucky. It was busy.

A cozy restaurant offering Portuguese specialties. The welcome was friendly, and I was given a table without a reservation. The ambiance is charming. To start, you're served ciabatta bread and a spread. I ordered a warm tapas appetizer: octopus in peppers. This was followed by a seafood paella, freshly prepared (allow 30 minutes for preparation). I would have preferred the octopus to be a touch more tender, but it was still very tasty and a generous portion for an appetizer. While the paella was plentiful, the flavor was only average for my taste. I've had better. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant; they also offer many fish dishes.

We were at the restaurant for our Christmas party. We received a very warm welcome, the waiters were friendly and efficient, and they readily accommodated our special request, preparing three fantastic tapas platters that were absolutely delicious. The main course was also a treat in itself. Thumbs up!

There were four of us for dinner at La Sepia on a Saturday. We had several appetizers to share, and each of us had a main course. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The price was also reasonable. The service was very attentive and friendly. If there's one minor criticism: the hot appetizers could have been a bit warmer. But that's really nitpicking. We'll definitely be back.

The food was very good but the fish is not very fresh, typical for seafood in Berlin. The atmosphere was very nice the restaurant is élite and the waiters are very professional. I recommend the seafood soup and the mixed seafood plate but not the appetizers.

A bit messy, decent food, decent price, rock solid

I moved from Portugal two months ago and visited this restaurant because I missed Portuguese food. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. I ordered the grilled red snapper. The presentation of the dish was well done, but the taste left much to be desired. The fish had a gelatinous texture and didn't seem fresh. I'm from the Azores and since I was little I've been used to eating fresh fish, so I easily recognize the difference. The taste was reminiscent of frozen fish that had been thawed during cooking. It had a strange taste and, honestly, it could have been any other fish. Based on the taste, it would have been impossible to identify that it was red snapper.

Highly recommended... like a holiday in Spain...

The food was delicious and we were satisfied. The only disappointment was that the staff strongly encouraged us to order more because he though the portions were not enough, but we ended up leaving a lot of it behind. If we hadn't ordered more, we would have been satisfied with the price we paid.

I had seafood paella~ It was my first time eating paella at a Spanish restaurant. The seasoning was perfect, the seafood was rich and flavorful, and there was plenty of fresh seafood. It was absolutely delicious!! The staff were also cheerful and friendly, so I left feeling great!!

I guess I paid 3 euro delivery fee for each oyster I got. Anyway, you can’t get a satisfied Spanish dinner in Germany.

I used to really like this place, but this visit was disappointing and made me feel like I won’t come back again. My friend and I ordered some food and drinks. On the menu, the drink I chose only had one price listed, but when I got the bill, it turned out to be more expensive because the server gave me a larger size — an option that wasn’t even shown on the menu. When I mentioned this to the owner, he refunded the price difference, but his attitude made it feel like the mistake was somehow my fault for not noticing the size. That left me with a pretty bad impression, unfortunately.

The tuna steak was tasteless, bitter, and most likely spoiled. I don't recommend the food here.

We were looking for a nice restaurant in Berlin and went to La Sepia, how lucky we were as we only went there by chance. The food was amazing. I had fish and seafood and it was super yummy. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the prices really reasonable. There was a really nice waiter from my home country, Venezuela. Highly recommended

VAT wasn't included in the menu prices, so the final amount was increased by 19%. Maybe it was listed somewhere on the menu, but not directly next to the prices. The food was average, and the white Rioja gave me a headache.

Yesterday I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was absolutely thrilled. The seafood selection is magnificent, from freshly caught oysters to perfectly grilled fish. Everything was beautifully prepared, very fresh, and tasted of the highest quality. The side dishes were also finely balanced and perfectly rounded off the overall experience. The service was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive, and the atmosphere was pleasantly maritime without being overly pretentious. An absolute recommendation for all seafood lovers!

A very nice restaurant; if you're seated correctly, you have a view of the fish counter and the show kitchen behind it. The food was very, very tasty. Just don't expect large portions, so you're paying more for taste than quantity.

La Sepia undoubtedly serves very fresh seafood. Unfortunately, in my seafood salad, it was so soft that it almost seemed raw – not my taste. However, the particularly large mussels, which looked very appetizing, deserve special mention. The baked squid rings could have been seasoned better in my opinion – without the mayonnaise, they tasted quite bland and boring. We enjoyed the mixed platter with various fish and seafood. The roasted vegetables as a side dish were particularly well seasoned. The best tasting dish was the garlic prawns – aromatic and delicate – but they were unfortunately served cold, which was surprising and a shame. We actually wanted to order sangria, but it wasn't worth almost €20 for a 0.5 liter. The service was disappointing: While most of the waiters seemed friendly and cheerful, we encountered one who was very grumpy and didn't smile once. This unfortunately somewhat dampened the atmosphere.

La Sepia – Great Atmosphere, Unfortunately, Service Fails La Sepia is truly beautifully and comfortably furnished. I was particularly impressed by the sepia-themed wall and a huge screen with fascinating underwater images. The narrow, blue-lit corridor to the restroom, with its atmospheric images, was also an eye-catcher. Unfortunately, the service couldn't keep up. Our server was very cold. No smile, hardly any eye contact. The food was overall rather mediocre in taste, although my Ipanema stood out positively – it was surprisingly refreshing and tasty. A small mishap when paying: card payment wasn't possible at first, supposedly due to internet congestion from the large number of guests. We were offered cash or a wait of about 15 minutes. Since we had time, we waited – and lo and behold, after just five minutes, the waiter returned with the card reader and the payment went through without a hitch. As we left the restaurant, we were warmly bid farewell by the other waiters – friendly, open, with eye contact and a smile. It's a shame that we had no luck with our waiter.

Here it's all top-notch... Really good food, service, and can be up to scratch, even if it's often disappointing, there's a shortage in central Berlin. But not here... They come here many times, and every meal, and the excellent service has some truly wonderful atmosphere. This restaurant has always been wonderful. Can only recommend it to people with a sense of good food and incredibly good service. Everything here is first-class... Really good food, service, and can sometimes, even if it sounds strange, be in short supply in central Berlin. But not here... I've been coming here for many years, and neither the food nor the excellent service have ever disappointed me. This restaurant has never disappointed me. Highly recommended for people with a taste for good food and great service.

We discovered La Sepia while looking for lunch. It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but it's actually quite large and tastefully decorated. Since we were there at lunchtime, we had a reasonably priced meal from the lunch menu. We enjoyed it very much, and it's very good value for money. There's a wide selection of Spanish and Portuguese dishes. We'll definitely stop by again on our next visit.
