A beautiful restaurant with very good food and excellent service. Three of us had dinner last night at MontRaw. We had starters which were all delish and beautiful on the plate (sourdough bread, hamachi tartare, crispy artichoke salad, and soup). For our main course two of us had the lamb chops and one of us had the hanger steak. The meat was very high quality and perfectly cooked. For dessert we had creme brûlée and also a coco et cacao. Yummy delicious. Service was very good and not the least bit overbearing. And we all loved the atmosphere and the very tasteful decor--a very beautiful restaurant. We will be back.

Fantastic food. The best pumpkin soup ever, perfectly cooked lamb chops, innovative veggies dishes. The chocolate brownie with sorbet was so good.

A good meal in a cozy restaurant. Service was pleasant to contact, polite but also relaxed. The menu is large enough and has something for everyone. The food had a lot of flavor, the portions were large enough. Something went wrong with drinks, which was resolved well. A tip: Starter and main course came fairly close together. A top: Tasty food.

Very nice and tasty experience. Great and cosy atmosphere. Ceviche and squid are the top choices for me, but there are plenty of good options to choose from. Lamb is also worth trying. Reasonable selection of wines. All and all a bit pricey for the quality offered, especially when it comes to wines.

The warmest, friendliest and most attentive service. The menu has a little something for everyone, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is cozy, casually elegant and not noisy. I would eat there regularly if I lived in Berlin.

Decent restaurant, but quality and service are not on par with the pricing and level they seem to be aiming for. Some basics are not done properly, or not done at all: 1. If you serve champagne, wine or water, you open the bottle at the table. 2. When you serve champagne or wine, you let the customer taste. 3. You don't serve some starting bread and the actual starters at the same time. 4. You don't serve the ordered wine only halfway through the main course. Furthermore the taste of the food was pretty good, but also very similar between starter and main. Lots of the same garnish was used, with an overkill of coriander and onions.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Berlin!

A very cozy veranda covered with grapes. The dishes are exquisite. Our choice : Tabbouleh with red shrimp, artichoke salad, octopus, fish. We were very pleased. A child (8 years old) ate the entire steak and broccoli.

Die Vorspeisen waren gut (Burrata & Tatar). Als Hauptspeisen hatte meine Frau Oktopus. Es war extrem zäh, kaum zu essen. Ich hatte Steinbunt (glaube ich). Es war etwas zu sehr durch, geschmacklich, aber gut. Wir haben uns über den Oktopus beschwert und bekamen 50% Nachlass, was wiederum eine faire Geste war. Die Terrasse ist sehr nett, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Bewertungen sind eigentlich durchweg gut. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach einen schlechten Abend erwischt.

Amazing food. Every bite is full of different flavors and the taste will make you travel in time. My favorite was the starter salad and the main course fav was fish and the chocolate mousse as a dessert. Hughly recommended. The octopus however can be crispier. The squid and beef tartar was lovely. We celebrated our friend’s birthday and they were kind enough yo add candles to the cake. The space inside is narrow and can be quite noisy but it was fine with us. We had dinner inside and went outside for the dessert. Thank you very much for this lovely experience. I hope you open other branches internationally including Dubai where its blooming with new experiences. Many dishes have changed from last year so many dishes in the photos are not available or replaced.

One of the worst services I’ve experienced in Berlin, and believe me, that’s saying something. I went for a business dinner with 8 people, and from the moment we arrived, the service was atrocious. The waiter was outright rude. When a colleague asked for a recommendation for a good German wine, the waiter’s response was, “Well, I don’t know what you like, so I can’t help.” The food? Average at best and overpriced. With so many other options on the same street, there’s absolutely no reason to waste your time or money here. I won’t be coming back.

MontRaw describes itself as a Mediterranean restaurant, which is certainly the spirit of its menu, but its voice is unique and special. On our recent 10 day trip to Berlin we ate dinner there twice and cannot find enough kind things to say about it. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the noise level remarkably low, so we could talk to one another (and the staff!) in a normal tone of voice. The service could not be better. As for the meals, their web page is absolutely correct. They start with the finest ingredients and turn them into dishes that work beautifully. We ordered the duck liver paté (so good we ordered it both nights), the artichoke salad, the stuffed cabbage, the Gnocchi "Parisienne", and the hanger steak. The paté combined promegranates, pistachios, and rhubarb relish--no surprises, but so carefully put together to make exquisite tramezzini. The artichokes were perfectly fried, tender and full of flavor, and complemented well with some chicory. The gnocchi were sauteed (not boiled) and served with both white and green aspargus. Again, the key was a delicate touch with pecorino to flavor the gnocchi, and great execution to get the asparagus cooked just right. Finally, the hanger steak: the other ingredients were potato pavé, broccoli, burnt pepper, caramelized onion cream, and chimichurri. The last four work with the steak, not just beside it, and the potato "cobblestones" help clean your plate. We hope we can find an excuse to return to Berlin and eat here again.

I’m traveling in Berlin and had dinner with local friend who recommended this restaurant. We very much enjoyed all dishes. We ordered asparagus salad and open fire flatbread as starter and Stuffed cabbage, Turbut, Crispy octopus, Gnocchi Parisienne for main. For dessert, Creme Brulee. Good quality and great food 😋 Highly recommend this casual fine dining! Friendly staff, great service as well.

Amazing starter (ceviche), the main was nothing fantastic (gnocchi: I can make the same at home), amazing dessert (creme brûlée). Service ok (forgot the bread twice, have to wave for 2 minutes before someone sees you) but not great for such a price. Nice atmosphere but pretty loud (full and pretty loud music). Not many vegetarian or vegan options. Hence 4 stars. But will go back probably

Delicious food (everything is really good but omg the flatbread and the rhubarb cheesecake) and very cool vibe, perfect for a date. Maybe the music was a tad too loud but we loved it anyway.

Ochsencheekchen & Kubana are very good. Duck liver pate didn't really go together. The crispy octopus tastes okay, but 2 octopus arms are simply not enough for €34.

Choosing this place for our second date was truly an excellent decision. The comfortable space, cozy table setting created an impressive ambiance. Each dish with its refined and unique flavors made every bite outstanding and unforgettable. Enjoying the unique cocktails added a romantic atmosphere, making our date even more wonderful and solidifying this venue as my favorite spot in Berlin.

Great service, good food, and the wine paring advice were on point! We had a few starters to share with drinks and then went for the main courses. For me personally it was a little too much food getting the main course, so next time I'll just have one extra starter instead. We sat at the bar, more people should book seats at the bar in general, we always do if it's possible. You get a more relaxed environment in my opinion. I love the feeling of sitting at some friend's kitchen island, having a chat, some drinks with great food while still getting that restaurant feeling. This place gave me that. Cheers!

You're always a bit surprised when you meet purely English-speaking staff, but good thing, that seems to be becoming more and more common in the city. Of course, this does not affect the professionalism and attentiveness of the service in any way, on the contrary, many restaurants should learn from this! The food is quite decent - on Torstrasse you are spoiled in terms of quality and MontRaw is in the upper midfield. The wine is rather mediocre and significantly overpriced - further down the street in the nursery you can get better wine for less money and in larger "portions". Overall, a solid, recommendable restaurant where the price/performance tends to be more in the direction of price. Two € is definitely not enough - for two people you can hardly get anything under €150.

It was perfect ! We celebrated a couple of birthdays at the same time and we were spoilt ! Firstly, a glass of champagne for everyone, then a superb meal topped off with special desserts offered for the occasion ! There was no problem with gluten/lactose free meals. All meals were delicious. The service was exceptional with a great waiter ! We'll be back next time we're in Berlin... THANKS so much for such a memorable occasion !!!

Wir waren hier gestern zu unserem Hochzeitstag essen und waren begeistert. Bei der winterlichen Karte konnten wir uns zunächst gar nicht entscheiden, was wir essen wollten, da sich alles super angehört hat. Letztendlich hatten wir Kubana, das jemenitische Brioche mit Labneh, den Burnt Kohlrabi und das Entenbörek zur Vorspeise, die Ochsenbäckchen sowie den Stör zur Hauptspeise und das Quittendessert mit Kaffeemascarpone zum Nachtisch. Alles war wirklich wunderbar! Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass die Tische sehr nah aneinander stehen und ein privates Gespräch kaum möglich ist.

This place has been a pleasant discovery for us in Berlin. Stylish and cozy interior, friendly staff, excellent taste of dishes. I'd especially like to recognize the dishes: great quality food, well chosen dressing, original serving dish. Sure, the price is normal for this kind of dishes. We will definitely come back.

Really good food. I sometimes have those experiences that I eat something and then you really taste what it is, like really. It was super flavourful and showed me that food can be special. They have constantly changing menus, so it's worth coming here more often, which I will do. Of course, it has a little elevates price tag but it's worth it.

We were quite disappointed by this experience. The food is good (even though our fish was raw because not cooked enough). But what really made the experience not nice is that we could only stay 2 hours (too short for a fine dining experience, sorry) and felt rushed to everything, even drinking - service pours your glass every two minutes. We definitely won't recommend this place..

First of all staff and service was great! Starters were delicious (we had fish crudo and some fish tzatiki) but the main dishes were not delicious as much as we expected. I had octopus and my husband had seafood pan. Both small portions and no veggies only seafood. I also ordered dessert. So the kadaif was very good. Overall doesn’t worth the money spent.

The service is by far the best I have ever received in Berlin, our waiter was super friendly, accommodating, attentive and put our enjoyment of the dinner as his top priority! The food was absolutely fantastic, every dish was very well planned out and every flavour and aroma complimented each other excellently! The atmosphere was very nice, we were here in the evening for our anniversary and it was a very romantic and cozy atmosphere at the candle lit table in the evening! I can recommend to go and try MontRaw if the opportunity arises.

Restaurant with good food. We were there for dinner on a weekday. The restaurant was quite full, but we could still get a seat. We ordered fish and lamb. Both dishes were very tasty, and the size was decent. The service is okay, but not above average. What is above average, however, are the prices. The prices are way too high and not understandable. It was a good experience, but I would not consider going to this restaurant again.
