Restaurant Luitpold in Berlin

We ordered food. Unfortunately, the food wasn't hot enough. Furthermore, you now have to pay extra for ketchup and spicy onions. I politely asked on the phone if there was a small complimentary item with our order of over €220. Unfortunately, this was ignored, and we also had to pay a delivery fee of €4.90. When I asked the delivery driver how this could be with such a high order amount, he simply said: "You pay that everywhere." Firstly: No, and secondly, it's not documented anywhere. I find it outrageous.

Very tasty, really friendly and an absolutely comfortable place to linger.

A classic restaurant serving Balkan cuisine, just as we know it. Please be bold and include more traditional dishes! The Cevape platter and Luipold's mixed grill are highly recommended.

A smaller menu is better! 👍🏼 It's a shame I wanted to eat two of them 😂🙈 but the second choice was great! The liver was pink, the onions were amazing, but I like the mashed potatoes with milk and butter! 😉 Best wishes and I'd love to come again!

2025 - the children took over and renamed it. Now, they also offer changing daily specials of very tasty quality. Previously, it was "just": a traditional Croatian restaurant with typical German dishes, generous portions, good quality, and friendly, attentive staff. The price/performance ratio is right.

I wanted to order for the first time this week, and by 7 p.m., people were already complaining about whether the driver could still make it!? They also suddenly said the minimum order value was €25, which isn't mentioned on the delivery menu. Not exactly great service, too bad 🥴 I've now tried again‼️, with moderate success. Of the two dishes, only one was tasty; the meat in the second was very tough, the rice was dry, and the fries were soggy and lukewarm. Delivery was by scooter without a warming box, like with other delivery services, and cost over €40 🥴🤮.

I ordered food over the phone. Was asked if we wanted spicy onions and ketchup with it. I said yes, as it was part of the meal. (In a restaurant, the onions and ketchup are also on the table.) However, when it was delivered, we were charged an additional €1.50 each for onions and ketchup, plus a delivery fee of €3. When we asked a member of staff about it the next time we ate at the restaurant, we were simply told that everything had become more expensive. When we pointed out that if they charged a delivery fee, they would have to disclose this on their website, we were told that each restaurant is free to make this known. Our conclusion is that we will not visit this restaurant again, nor will we ever order anything from there, even though we have been going there often with our family for ages.

The food is always delicious there. The service is excellent. It's generally best to make a reservation in advance, especially on weekends.

Portions are generous, and you'll definitely be full. The food is delicious, and the service is very friendly. Reservations are recommended on certain days or at certain times. There's generally plenty of seating, so even larger groups can be accommodated.

It was my first time at the restaurant. I opted for a large salad with turkey breast strips. It cost €17.50, which I consider an insane price for a salad. I generally always eat a salad in restaurants, so I have countless options to compare. What I was offered with this salad – for this insane price – was, in my opinion, an enormous cheek. When I asked the waitress whether this was really a large salad and what a small one looked like, there was initially no reaction. Then about 10 minutes later, a salad was briskly placed on my table, with the waitress making a corresponding facial expression, and commenting that it was a small one. After that, we were not served by this woman again. In fact, the small salad corresponded to the size of my salad. The presentation was also disgraceful. I will definitely not go there again.

Whether you eat in, order for delivery, or order and pick up yourself, the food is always nice and friendly, and the service is always delicious. The best thing is the chopped garlic in oil. Always happy to come back!!!!!!!

We were there on Boxing Day. There was a lot to do but the service was nice and courteous. The food was tasty but not warm. I didn't return it because there were several of us and I was also afraid that the meat would be tough.

Unfortunately our food (minced meat) was totally over salted, so we got the second beer for free, but I would have preferred to eat something sensible since I had just come from work. I would also have preferred to drink a glass of wine, but at €8 for a glass ? We then took an Aperol for 6.50, which unfortunately also tasted watery, but was then cleaned up after a complaint. No, sorry. It's a shame but then back to my favorite restaurants

Ordered away from home 2 days in a row. On the first day they packed me the wrong sauce. OK . Not nice but it can happen. On the second day we each ordered 2 bottles of cola and water. On the menu 0.5 liters for 2.20 euros each. 1 liter each came for a whopping 5.50 euros per bottle. People with me never again. I'll let it go for Cola. 5.5 for 1 liter of water is damn cheeky.

Wir sind sooo oft dort Essen gegangen diesmal haben wir bestellt und uns liefern lassen, ein Grill Teller und Nudeln 🍜 das Essen war lauwarm wir haben das Essen weggeworfen die Krönung beim Grill Teller wurden die Zwiebeln mit ein 1,50 Euro berechnet und der Ketschup ebenso mit 1,50 Euro berechnet was eine Frechheit ist zum Grill Teller gehört das für uns dazu der Beilagen Salat würde komplett geschriechen. Ein Grund dort nicht mehr zu bestellen oder hin zu gehen die Einrichtung ist Ungemütlich und auch nicht einladen UND ES IST IMMER LAUT WEIL AM TRESEN DIE GANZEN BIER TRINKER SIND. WIR KÖNNEN DAS LEIDER NICHT MEHR EMPFEHLEN. SCHADE.

You don't have to go. Ambience: Uncomfortable bowling bar where drinkers sit at the bar in the anteroom. Dining room cool and uncomfortable. Service: That's probably how it used to be in the GDR. -The boss is king and not the guest. Food: Rump steak was impossible to cut! Comment from the "Waiter's" - That's what happens when he buys a 20kg piece... The store is more for the undemanding. Toilets: Well Not our level at all. Ps. Not only great "Croatian" cuisine, but also German/Bavarian cuisine. Large portions for a reasonable price. You should also try the delicious beer (King Ludwig and Bruno). Reservations are recommended on weekends.

I have eaten there many times and am very satisfied every time. The food always tastes very tasty. There is no longer any salad with the schnitzel, which is a shame. Unfortunately, it doesn't look as great as it used to. It would be nice if you could get the salads again or at least be asked if you would like one with them.

Sometimes it tastes really good and sometimes the food is cold and/or too salty. Some waiters are very friendly and some are probably having a bad day. The ambience is rather cold and listless. It is always clean and tidy.

If you want to eat good Croatian food, this is the right place for you. Not only does it taste very good and each of us leaves the Luitpold full, but the staff and owners are also very friendly and pleasant. The interiors are very nice and clean. Outside there is a beautifully planted terrace.

We have been coming back spontaneously for years. Now unfortunately it is no longer possible. Recently, it's only possible with a reservation, according to the customer from the "receptionist". Although the outside area was only occupied by one table, it was said "everything is reserved!" . It's nice that they helped you through the Corona crisis...Now you seem to be doing well again and you don't need long-term customer loyalty...It's a shame

Uriges Lokal, super nette hilfsbereite Kellner. Das Restaurant hat 2 Stufen, bei Bedarf legt der Kellner eine Rampe aus. Kroatisch Küche, preiwerte Gerichte , große Portionen sehr schmackhaft. Auch während der EM Spiele (Großleinwand) wurde das Essen serviert. Wenig Parkplatz in der Nähe(Anwohnerparkplätze)

Very friendly staff and the food is great

Today was the first time we ate in person at Restaurant Luitpold, as we usually pick up food. It was so delicious and freshly prepared, we will definitely become regulars now, like friends of ours.

I always enjoy visiting the Luitpold. The staff is nice. (Once I was wearing a punk shirt; the landlord saw that and played punk music later in the evening when it got emptier.) The food was Yugo-style delicious. I like the ambience. And I always get my senior plate and a schnapps on the house at the end. 😊 You can't want more.

Waren leider sehr enttäuscht! Versteckte Preiserhöhung in der Speisekarte. Das Essen schmeckt auch nicht mehr wie bei Luitpold.

Die Gerichte wurden verändert und es schmeckt nicht mehr. Vermutlich hat sich die Bewirtschaftung und der Koch verändert.

Quaint restaurant with warm hospitality, good prices and delicious food

The food was good as always (punana and pike perch) and plentiful. Unfortunately completely without garnish. Just the atmosphere... Back part was closed for a meeting. And it was so loud in the front that you couldn't hear your own words. You wouldn't be able to concentrate on the taste given the volume. We celebrated our wedding here 47 years ago. It was still called Sport Casino... but it wasn't that loud.
