Piroschka in Berlin

Unfortunately, it's only mid-range – the food itself (meat) is well-prepared, BUT... the ketchup?! Ketchup is simply a must for a meal like this with fries and lots of meat, but here it's unfortunately too runny. Everything tastes a bit bland, and the plate is swimming in a mess of ketchup and water, which ultimately ruins the entire meal. This kind of thing really annoys me! The side salad with its dressing also tastes rather bland and unloving (3 out of 5 stars). Sorry, but the other restaurants in the area can do a bit better. Luckily, the beer was ice-cold and on tap.

Piroschka has been a traditional Croatian restaurant for years. It's not a gourmet temple, but the food and drinks are of the quality and quantity you'd expect from a good Croatian restaurant. The prices are still moderate, the service friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is a bit dated but okay. On the plus side, there's a wonderful outdoor seating option in the warmer months. Highly recommended.

A very solid Croatian restaurant. The food lived up to our expectations, although I would have liked to have seen fries with the cevapcici in addition to rice. But I'll ask about that next time. The pola pola was also good. The meat skewer was tender and juicy.

Very delicious food, especially meat platters. The meat is beautifully tender. The food is varied, including fish, seasonal dishes like duck, mushroom pan, etc. The waiters are very friendly and occasionally offer a Julischka (pear liqueur) on the house. About 50% of customers are regulars. We often have small parties and family meals; it's very popular. The ambiance is neat and clean, but not very modern. The restrooms are clean, but in need of renovation. You can enjoy super delicious food here, and the seating is also elegant and comfortable. You can sit outside in the small, roofed beer garden. The prices are perfectly reasonable: sea bream for €19, a simple grilled plate for €16 (perfectly fine). But you can't put on a show; the interior is too simple for that. I've been going to Piroschka for 30 years; I like it and enjoy coming here :))

We were there today with a group of five men. Everyone ordered large portions, which were excellent in terms of quality and taste. The service was quick, and the food arrived on the table quickly, so there was nothing to complain about. That was until the bill came, and we were asked to pay extra for reordering ketchup and raw, spicy onions. When we asked why, the only answer was that it's the custom here. We explained that if we had sat individually at different tables, we would have received ketchup and onions, but the waiter didn't care. He thought that a small bottle of ketchup and a small bowl of onions was enough for five men. That was the end of the restaurant for all of us. What a shame. You don't win new customers that way.

Yesterday, five of us ate at the restaurant. The food was truly delicious, and we were impressed by the quality. When the food was served, a bottle of ketchup and a bowl of onions were placed on the table. These, of course, were quickly consumed by five people. At our request, we received another portion, and later a third bowl of onions after we politely asked again. What surprised us, however, was that after paying our respective bills, the waiter asked us who wanted to pay for the third portion of onions. We were then billed for it. I'm not concerned about the amount—I'm happy to pay more for good food. But I find it petty to charge separately for an additional bowl of onions, especially for a group of five. When I asked what would have happened if five people had sat at separate tables, it became clear that everyone would have received their own portion. In this context, I don't quite understand the handling. Perhaps it would be wise to reconsider the business policy on this point – in order to underline the positive overall impression left by the meal in the service as well.

Super friendly staff, very hard-working and fast! Great food, large portions! We love coming here regularly! Parking is a bit complicated, but I'm willing to walk a few steps! We often reserve a table in advance, but there's always a spot available.

This place serves excellent Croatian food and Croatian pivo. You can sit outside or inside (smoking-free). I was treated very kindly and can recommend it to anyone who likes Croatian food.

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy, the service was very friendly, and even a change to a menu item was accommodated at no extra cost. The food was very tasty, and the portion sizes were also good. The ambiance is a bit rustic, but very clean and well-maintained. A cozy Croatian restaurant with a wide range of dishes. Reasonably priced. It's also worth mentioning that there's a limited-time, reasonably priced lunch menu for seniors. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended.

It is so pleasant to eat here, perfect service, excellent cuisine and moderate prices. It feels so good to eat perfect food from a plate instead of having it delivered to you in a "tin bowl". ...and then a brilliant dessert too. Even a simple coffee tastes good, Let's maintain the quality of the gastronomy and go to the "Piroschka" instead of having mediocre food delivered to us.

A diverse, dazzling restaurant with good food, very nice service, but in urgent need of renovation. Everything here is the same as it was 50 years ago. Many people will like this, but young people certainly won't.

Simply delicious. The staff here is old school. the ambience was perfect. Recommended if you are really hungry. The portions were really generous. You can also sit comfortably outside even in the rain.

Extensive and varied menu with almost exclusively Balkan dishes. Very good. Staff very nice and there for the guests immediately and carefully. Food is brought to several guests at the same time and never takes too long. I can happily recommend it to anyone who loves or is curious about Balkan cuisine.

Fraud!!! Ambiance hasn't changed for 30 years, that's okay. The food tasted delicious, but it was very expensive. The service is a disaster and cheated us. A 0.4 liter water was ordered and it arrived, but the bill said 0.5 liter water. When asked, they said that they simply fill a little more into the glass, but that's not possible because the calibration mark for the 0.4 liter limit is pretty close to the edge of the glass. Even though it was only 1 euro more expensive, we didn't get the money refunded and we weren't allowed to see it either.

The food was very tasty 😋! The service staff attentive. If only such a rude rebuff hadn't apparently come from the boss at the end. Arrogant and arrogant, he pointed out the length of the booking instead of telling us fifteen minutes in advance that he had booked the table for guests from 2 p.m.! So just to feed you, greed for money weakens the overall impression. A pity !!

For us the best Croatian restaurant in Berlin. We only got to know this restaurant a few weeks ago and, as fans of Croatian food, we are completely convinced. The taste, portions and service are top notch. The ambience is rustic like almost every Croatian place. We are now driving there from Kladow. That's what you call meaningful. Keep it up 👌👍

Good Croatian cuisine with typical local dishes. If desired, with spicy onions and side salad. In the warm season there is also an outdoor area and a small terrace. Interior area with small compartments and seating. Gladly again.

After over 40 years it is still a great restaurant. Prices have not risen massively like many other restaurants in the area but are moderate. Quality has remained good over the decades we have been eating here; The service is warm and tries to fulfill every wish, as we have experienced over the years.

As always, the food was very good. Unfortunately, five of us were not informed when booking that we only had two hours to get the table we had ordered. After 2 HOURS we were very rudely informed that the table was needed for the next guests.

Riesiges Speisenangebot, weniger wäre mehr. Vom Namen Piroschka hätte ich ungarische Küche erwartet, schmeckte aber wie beim Kroaten, alles sehr fleischlastig. Essen war o.k., Pommes richtig lecker.

Mit großer Vorfreude hatten wir einen Tisch zum Gänseessen reserviert. Der Kellner war schon überfordert und den bestellten Tisch zu geben- wir nahmen hinter der Tür Platz -wo es immer zieht. Wir bestellten zwei mal Gänsebrust a‘ 29,50€ und nach 10 min. kam unser Gericht. Es war sehr übersichtlich , da pro Teller nur eine Hälfte der Brust drauf war. Beim schneiden mussten wir uns sehr anstrengen weil das Fleisch zu fest war. Dafür war die Haut schön weich und labberig.

Wenn man extra aus Schöneberg hier zum Essen her kommt, dass sollte schon alles sagen ;o)

Ein schönes Erlebnis, feierten dort den 82. Geburtstag unserer Oma. Die Bedienung war sehr persönlich, freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Gerichte waren sehr lecker angerichtet, Portionen recht groß. Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Die Toiletten hell und sauber.

Nach längerer Zeit mal wieder Lust auf kroatische Küche gehabt und leider bitter enttäuscht worden. Das Essen ist qualitativ schlechter geworden. Das Fleisch machte einen angegangenen Eindruck und schmeckte merkwürdig. Die höfliche Kritik wurde vom Service aber weggebügelt. Das Essen blieb meinerseits stehen. Fazit: Man hat es offensichtlich nicht nötig auf Kritik einzugehen. Tja, liebe Piroschkas, das war es dann mit uns. Es gibt engagierte Kroaten mit besserem Ambiente.

Tolles Restaurant, faire Preise, ordentliche Portionen, guter Service, essen wird in kurzer Zeit zubereitet, Cevapcici waren vernünftig durcherhitzt.

Der Reis hat nicht geschmeckt schade das war immer ein heileit. Jetzt schmeckte er wie Reis in einer roten Sauce. Das Fleisch war wie immer super weich und gut gewürzt.

Sehr leckeres Essen und die Portion ist sehr groß. Die Qualität ist seit Jahrzehnten immer gleich gut.

Service war freundlich aber etwas unaufmerksam. Statt der am Ende bestellten Puzta Platte zum mitnehmen, war statt Pommes, Reis dabei. Wurde aber direkt korrigiert, nur gut das ich vorher rein geschaut habe. Statt dem gewünschten Ketchup, waren die unerwünschten Zwiebeln dabei. Ist aber nicht so schlimm, Fehler können passieren. Das Essen war geschmacklich lecker, wobei das Fleisch recht „dünn“ gehalten ist. Die Preise sind etwas weiter oben angesetzt. Zum Abschluss gibt es noch ein Aperitif.

Leider muss ich meine usprünglichen 4 Sterne nach unten korrigieren! Essen wie immer gut! Getränkepreise durch die Decke und unverhältnismäßig! Nach Zahlung das Restaurant wegen angeblicher vorher nicht ersichtlicher Reservierung des Tisches hinauskomplementiert! Geht gar nicht! Fazit: Kunde verloren!

Essen ist ok, nichts besonderes. Service nicht freundlich. Als kinderfreundlich kann man es leider nicht bezeichnen. Den Kinderstuhl musste ich mir selbst holen, nach dem der Kellner erklärte dieser würde im Innenraum stehen. Es gibt keinen Wickeltisch. Auf Nachfrage ob ich unseren Sohn auf einer leeren Tischbank mit Unterlage wickeln dürfte hieß es schroff, Nein! (Ich habe Verständnis wenn andere Gäste nicht davon gestört werden sollen, es waren genügend freie Bereiche ohne Gäste)Ich könnte es ja auch dem WC machen, auf den dreckigen Fliesenboden? Welches übrigens sehr unangenehm gerochen hat. Bisher war der Service immer distanziert und wir haben uns nicht willkommen gefühlt. Wir kommen nicht mehr. Da gehen wir lieber wieder zu Restaurant KADENA.

Das Essen war nicht ganz so lecker. Die Cevapcici und der Reis waren nicht gut. Der Service normal. Das Ambiente typisch kroatisch.

Für Getränke gibt es keine Sterne darum muss ich die für Essen zur Hilfe nehmen. Aktuell werden 8,50 € für 0,75l blaue Flasche Selters berechnet. Liebe Leute, ihr müsst die Kirche im Dorf lassen. Dieser Preis ist unverschämt und eine Abzocke! schade, schade, schade :-(

Das war heute leider unser letzter Besuch. Eine Beilagenänderung war bislang nie ein Problem und plötzlich geht das nicht mehr????? Aufpreis für einen kleinen Beilagensalat 3.50 Euro... Vor 2 Wochen und die Male davor konnte man problemlos tauschen, übrigens ohne Aufpreis. Die Art und Weise,wie wir heute behandelt wurden, war nicht in Ordnung. Aus dem Kindergartenalter sind wir längst raus. Schade, unsere Freunde und Familien werden dann auch nicht mehr dorthin gehen.
