Tolle Bewirtung mit hohem Wohlfühlfaktor. Abends ein sehr schönes Ambiente mit toller guter Getränkeauswahl. Für jeden etwas dabei. Der Service war einfach top!!!!!

We came to the restaurant with over 30 people after a quick telephone inquiry. Drinks came very quickly and the food was ready quickly. Everything was very tasty, there was no mix-up and even special requests were implemented without any problems. Service was prompt and, in its own way, courteous and friendly. Absolutely good price-performance ratio. Clear recommendation.

Quite good food at ok prices. If you want you can have a nice view of the market square from the balcony. Service: He did his job well, the ordering system (software) seems to be a disaster... a piece of paper and a pen would have been better or faster. Eating takes quite a long time... The loud music and the obvious bosses sitting around and talking loudly are a bit annoying... All in all a good location 👍🏼 PS: of course I left out the fries 😂

The meat from the Luipoldsteak was far too dry, it shouldn't be left in the pan or grill for too long! You can't recognize the staff (service) and it's hard to tell them apart from the guests! Prices are also a bit outdated without a side salad, which could be included in the prices!

Beautiful view from the terrace. The waiter was friendly, funny, attentive and had good wine knowledge. The grilled vegetables with feta is highly recommended! Thank you for the nice evening 😊

We ate here for the umpteenth time - today in the late afternoon and therefore relatively early, but the restaurant serves hot food all the time. We were warmly welcomed with a welcome champagne. The spaghetti and the linguine with chanterelles were a poem. For dessert there was a fantastic espresso frappe with a wonderful note of amaretto. Thanks for the great evening!

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. Starter soup full of oil and frozen vegetables. The pizzas were somehow all the same. Little taste and looked like ready-made products that you make yourself. There is better food all around!

The schnitzel was great! The fries are uniquely good! I would recommend spending 20 euros and adding a salad to make it pleasant! Customers are satisfied and have to pay but you can't use a card, that's very unfriendly! The embarrassing moment is always paying and if obstacles are then put in the way, that's one reason not to go there anymore! Modern shops have other options!

Everything is unnecessarily expensive and doesn't taste so good, Uncooked schnitzel and hair in salad and then the employee makes a joke to the doctor that he doesn't see hair then he does see it when three people see it, There is fruit salad and only a half-cut apple, So there are a lot of restaurants nearby that have nice employees, even if the food wasn't okay, they accept it and bring new food, but don't say anything and be angry and just take the food on the table. Where do we live? There are so many better restaurants next door that are cheaper and have better staff, so please don't make mistakes like I did and go somewhere else

Visited the restaurant by chance for dinner yesterday. Very nicely located on the town hall square and the restaurant is actually nicely furnished, only the tables and the chairs show the high frequency of the place. The starter and main course were very tasty and the portion was also good. At the beginning the waiter was a bit cold, but towards the end he became friendlier (which was definitely not due to the tip, as I couldn't give one with my debit card). So actually more of a 4++

Location OK, Food actually poor - e.g. Unfortunately, the fries weren't cooked through, the steak was too salty (the chef was very in love ;)) The spritzer wasn't tangy enough - not worthy of a Palatinate spritzer. A pity. Unfortunately we won't be coming back...

An sich ein sehr schöner Platz zum Sitzen im Sommer. Die Preise finde ich etwas erhöht, die Pizza war lecker, was ich allerdings negativ finde, dass man dort nicht mit Karte zahlen kann. Das geht in der heutigen Zeit gar nicht mehr.

The food is really good. The service was very nice and courteous. What I don't like at all is that the boss shouts at his employees in front of the guests and what is not acceptable at all is that the Albanian compatriots are served special meals in front of all the other guests. Food that is not on the menu should not be served in front of other guests CONSTANTLY! This is a “no go” and doesn’t make walk-in customers (we come often) feel welcome. Since this happens every time we are there, we will probably never be able to achieve the code of honor and therefore probably won't come back. You want to be treated equally, please treat US equally!!!

The fries were a bit too salty and the price was disproportionate. Day ticket or no-go.

We were in Landau last week and got a nice outdoor spot. Ambience great. The meal took a little long but was super tasty. The staff was extremely friendly and due to the long waiting time we were even invited for an espresso. We would like to come again.

Really bad ! Rock hard tortellini, cold pizza that has zero taste. It's a shame that something like that can even be called a restaurant. In addition, the waiter obviously didn't want to do his job!

We sat outside at the market square for lunch. Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. We had Jägerschnitzel and the cabbage roulade. Both of our meals were cold. Our demand for ketchup was simply ignored. In general the service was also very unfriendly. We won't come again.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't good at all (there was no beef consommé, bread only consisted of soggy dough, pasta was drowned in sauce, asparagus was okay, but not really cooked through). The drinks were good and the ambience (view of the market square) was beautiful. Unfortunately, the service was very sloppy, the waiter only spoke broken German.

Food was generally ok, nothing special. There isn't a single apple in the apple strudel.

Had dinner there today with 10 people. The service was highly motivated and very friendly. Have eaten here many times and have always been very satisfied. As always, the food tasted very good, beautifully prepared and good value for money. Highly recommended if you want a nice relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere.

Very welcoming restaurant with a calm atmosphere. The waitresses are very accommodating, nice and lift your mood, and just like the kitchen, they also respond to special requests. The food is homemade, lovingly prepared and served. The owner warmly welcomes every guest and ensures a successful evening. A must for everyone and highly recommended for holidaymakers/travellers.

The only thing missing from the service was the stained undershirt, the food was OK but unimaginative and the large restaurant was a bit overloaded. It's definitely nice in the summer and outside.

Arrived and immediately noticed an unpleasant, musty smell. There is also an ashtray on the drinks counter. Not a good first impression. Unfortunately, the waiters were not very friendly and not very accommodating. There are also deductions in their appearance. A white sweater with bright sneakers doesn't look very professional. The drinks were okay. Unfortunately the beer was a bit stale. We also had to wait a long time because a drink was forgotten. Food only below average. The pizza sauce tasted artificial and the "homemade" pasta linguine was nothing special. Ambiance is actually quite nice. The terrace in particular is a dream. All in all, unfortunately not a recommendation.

The best food in Landau! Price-performance ratio fits perfectly. Everyone will find something delicious here, from pizza to meat and even fish.

The food was tasty, although sometimes carelessly prepared. It's nice inside, but it was too cold. Unfortunately, the service was lackluster and not very accommodating. For drinks, dessert and coffee you always had to bring the waitress to the table. It's a shame, because with the location and the interior design there is so much potential for improvement.

Totally overloaded service! I waited 20 minutes before I was allowed to order. The first dish I ordered was already sold out at 7 p.m. Ordered a burger at short notice. Without comment, there were sweet potato fries - I hadn't ordered them and they weren't on the menu. Immediately complained, waited again, and then received the succinct answer, "French fries are out!", but I could also have fried potatoes. I did not want to! Now to the burger: the consistency was like that of a tennis ball, sauces from a tube, that was it. Landau is big enough - there are enough alternatives!

The veneer at our table was broken, so we had to be careful not to pull a thread on our sweater. The burger's patty turned out to be a meatball. The apple spritzer was either made with still water or was simply stale. The music is annoying, but that's a matter of taste.

Nice ambience, delicious food at reasonable prices, friendly service

I went to the restaurant for lunch yesterday with my wife and was greeted warmly. We ordered two dishes to share, first a fitness salad and then the salmon fillet. We were immediately given two plates to share and the salad came afterwards as one large plate. After the course came the salmon and two new plates. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted very good. A true recommendation! The only deduction I unfortunately have to give was the withered plants in the vases on the tables, I guess because of the New Year they missed the opportunity to use new flowers. But in my opinion that is rather negligible. All in all we were very satisfied!

Sehr gutes Essen, schöne Räumlichkeiten, vor allem wenn Weihnachtsmarkt oder Maimarkt ist. Dur die Terrasse kann man über den ganzen Markt blicken. Personal ist sehr nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Manchmal wirds in der Küche bisschen lauter aber auch nicht schlimm. Ich gehe jedes Jahr mit meiner Familie dahin.

Wir waren auf Urlaub und haben eine durgängige Küche gesucht. Seh, sehr lecker. Selbstgebackenes Weißbrot, Spinatknödel in Tomaten-Ingwersauce..... Toll und sauber in der Einrichtung. Wenn ich nochmal nach Landau fahre komme ich wieder.

Wir waren am 13.11.23 im Restaurant (Geschäfts Essen) und muss echt sagen das es sich gelohnt hat.Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Das Essen , der Service, und ganz zu schweigen die Ambiente, echt toller Laden. Manche Restaurants können sich von Luitpold Restaurant eine scheibe abschneiden. Nächste Geschäfts essen word definitiv wieder bei Luitpold sein.

Nachdem wir Sonntags nachmittags vor verschlossener Tür des Italieners standen, war Luitpold die Alternative. Es gab bei uns nix zu meckern. Das Essen war frisch, heiss, gut zubereitet und reichlich. Für uns als Genießer alles sehr wichtig. Die Bedienung hatte genug zu tun und war trotzdem freundlich. Das Schnitzel ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Es war nicht das erste und auch nicht das letzte Mal das wir ins Luitpold gehen. P/L-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung und radelten satt und zufrieden nach Hause.

Wir hatten uns hier etwas anderes vorgestellt und haben selten so schlecht gegessen. Wären wir doch lieber beim Federweissenfest geblieben.

Bei herrlichen Wetter im September sind wir in Landau gelandet und nach einem Stadtbummel, hier eingekehrt. Wir konnten wunderbar draußen sitzen und haben eine Kleinigkeit von der Tageskarte verzehrt. Toller Blick über den großen Rathausplatz und auch der Radler hat gut geschmeckt.

Das Personal war teilweise nett und teilweise überfordert. Das Salz, das an den Pommes zu viel war, hat am Schnitzel gefehlt. Das war sehr geschmacksneutral und in Fett getränkt. Karotten- und Selleriesalat sahen aus und haben geschmeckt wie frisch aus dem Glas. Die Lasagne war nicht durch. Muss man nicht haben! Für große Gesellschaften nicht empfohlen.

Das Essen hätte wärmer sein dürfen. Geschmacklich war's in Ordnung. Der Cappuccino war heiss aber hat nicht unseren Geschmack getroffen. Die erhöhte Terrasse ist nett, aber der Tisch den wir hatten hätte auch abgewischt werden können als die vorherigen Gäste gegangen waren. Also insgesamt OK, aber so Premium ist's insgesamt nicht gewesen daher sehen wir die Preise als leicht überhöht an.

Uns wurde das Restaurante empfohlen!!! Leider waren die Rumpsteaks fast alle durch gebraten. Ich muss sagen für das Geld würde ich nicht noch mal Hin gehen. Schade!!!

Ich war gestern zum ersten mal in Landau und nach der Arbeit auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen. Ich hatte mit dem Restaurant Luitpold einen Volltreffer! Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf den Marktplatz, der freundliche Service, das leckere Feierabendbier und das super Essen ließen keine Wünsche offen. Das einzig negative waren zwei unverschämte Gäste, die etwas an ihrem Essen auszusetzen hatten....nachdem sie es fast vollständig verschlungen hatten und ihre Tischnachbarn damit ungefragt nervten - aber auch hier blieb der Service super gelassen und professionell! Mein Fazit: Super Restaurant - mehr geht nicht! Danke

Schöne Terasse am Marktplatz. Sehr schneller Service. Nudelportionen sind aber extrem klein. In Spaghetti Aioli ist gefühlt eine ganze Knolle Knoblauch drin, also wirklich nicht mehr genießbar.

Essen in gepflegtem Ambiente mit Blick auf den Marktplatz. Freundlicher und flexibler Service, gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Das Schnitzel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Zart, knusprig paniert und frische Pommes, nicht versalzen. Sogar ein Spiegelei wurde auf Wunsch dazu serviert. Immer wieder gerne!

Der Service war nicht gerade freundlich und wir haben lange gewartet bis wir überhaupt mal gefragt wurden ob wir die Karten möchten. Beim ankommen wurden wir gefragt, ob der Tisch abgeräumt und sauber gemacht werden soll oder ob dies so geht, auf dem Tisch stand das Geschirr von den vorherigen Gästen und der Tisch war schmutzig. Das Essen war sehr lieblos angerichtet und leider nur teilweise gut. Die hausgemachten Getränke dagegen waren sehr lecker. Das Ambiente oben auf dem Balkon war wirklich sehr schön.

Sind mit 20 Personen unangekündigten gekommen. Haben sofort einen Platz bekommen und das Essen und die Getränke waren schnell da.
