With an outside temperature of 40 degrees it was pleasantly air-conditioned, the hall was clean, 1 star deducted because I find the prices for drinks and snacks really high, and the cinema can't help the fact that the film wasn't that great.

I couldn't redeem a voucher because it was "expired." So I was asked to pay twice. It wasn't worth the experience. Response: It's unfortunate that your employee didn't know that you were trying to comply with legal requirements. Your employee told me the voucher had expired, despite the voucher's lack of information about a redemption period. But the law doesn't specify when a voucher must expire. Theoretically, a voucher can be valid indefinitely; I've seen this happen with other companies. The law only specifies a minimum period. It's very sad that a voucher is no longer accepted after the minimum period. The missing information on the voucher suggests that they're speculating on missing the deadline.

My regular cinema. Always tidy and clean, the staff friendly. It's a standard cinema without movable seats or anything like that. Good old-fashioned.

!!!WARNING to all parents with children!!! Not recommended if you're going to see a film rated FSK 6 (the 3 question marks) with your 6-year-old daughter and DON'T want the pre-show to advertise inappropriate films like "Mädchen Mädchen" (Girls Girls), which features shagging teens and uses the word "orgasm" at least 10 times and the word "shagging" at least as often, including a scene where one of the male teens ties a bow around his penis with the words "a gift that keeps getting bigger." My child's eyes and ears don't need to see and hear something like that on a screen without asking!!! Humor is something you can argue about, but subjecting my 6-year-old daughter to something like that is in bad taste. I haven't experienced it in other cinemas, and we go to the cinema regularly. In Landau, it was my first visit (and probably my last). The cinema didn't respond to an inquiry, either by email or via the contact form. Legally permitted, according to internet research, but irresponsible from a parental perspective. So, dear parents, find another cinema!

Great location, great food, great cuisine

Unfortunately it has become very expensive over the years, but that's not surprising given the declining interest in cinemas in general.

I find it outrageous that people with disabilities are discriminated against after 6:30 p.m. They have to pay the full admission price. Although we confirmed by phone that there was a discount, the time slot was not mentioned. Despite a disability of 100 with the H and B symbols, we were charged full admission prices twice. Has it ever occurred to the operator that accompanying persons might also be working and only be able to enter in the evenings? It's inhumane and highly questionable in times when inclusion is supposedly practiced everywhere. I'm more than disappointed.

I was very annoyed because when I wanted to pay for my popcorn and drinks, I was told I couldn't pay with a Visa credit card. I then informed them that this was not a credit card but a normal ING debit card. Even that didn't work. I was forced to go to an ATM so I could pay at the cash register again later. Of course, we missed the entire beginning of the film even though we were only able to get into the cinema exactly five minutes after the film started. My son was of course very disappointed. If you had then told me that I had to put the backpack in the locker because it was too big, as was the case last time, I think I would have hit the ceiling. Instead of looking for a solution and, for example, giving me the popcorn and drinks without paying and I would have left my ID card and could have gone to the ATM in peace after the film. And would have paid afterwards. They would then have had my ID card as collateral. But no. Very unfortunate. Reply to your answer: A debit card is a checking card. Again. So it should have worked. Especially since I said that I have paid with this card many times and have never had any problems. You could have tested it. But even that wasn't allowed. Maybe the staff should be better trained to be able to recognize what a normal debit card like I have or a credit card is.

There are always the films where I want to see

The four of us went to the cinema with our two boys and then had dinner at Detox. The quality of the film and volume were perfectly fine. Dinner was very tasty, I had Bolognese schnitzel with salad. The waitresses are very attentive and super nice. Happy to come back!

We really enjoy going to the cinema in Landau. Only the popcorn used to be better. It just doesn't taste as good anymore.

Unfortunately, this cinema has deteriorated extremely. Especially the non-existent service. Cinema including snacks is an expensive pleasure for families anyway. The bag checks are a real disgrace. The audio quality of the dialogue boxes is subterranean in almost all halls. Luckily there is a pretty good large cinema across the Rhine without bag checks with good audio quality. I come from a city that once had over 100 cinemas. Many owner-managed houses. They would never have been satisfied with such poor service quality and such poor audio quality. They would have preferred to close it down. Somehow you notice that it's all about selling snacks.

Nice cinema. The only thing that annoyed me at the checkout was that they only take debit cards. Sorry, but it's 2025 and I want to pay with Google or Apple Pay with my Visa or Amex. Especially for something as expensive as going to the cinema. Then I find their menus “weird”. A menu with two large drinks, a large bag of popcorn and a large portion of nachos for 21 euros? Which couple should eat all this? Maybe think about more sensible sizes

Very attractive, spacious cinema - we were pleasantly surprised by the location - no parking problems.

The Filmwelt Landau is a great cinema with a pleasant atmosphere and great service. The cinema halls are clean, the picture and sound quality is top, and the staff is always friendly. Unfortunately there is a small point deduction because Afri Cola is offered - a matter of taste, but we miss other alternatives. In addition, the prices for cinema tickets and snacks have risen significantly in recent years. That's a shame, because otherwise we would stop by even more often. All in all, a nice cinema that we would still recommend!

Good online reservation system, saves waiting at the checkout. Just come, scan and go to the cinema. Eat something at the cinema beforehand and you'll be ready for a lovely evening.

I don't go to the cinema often, maybe three to four times a year with the children, but I feel like there are screening problems in this cinema too often. So far I haven't written anything about it because I don't think it's any use anyway, but with this frequency it annoys me now. On Thursday evening I was in Kraven and during the screening there was a short, minimal interruption in the film every 10 to 15 minutes where the image turned red blue green. Before that, with Deadpool and Wolverine, there were sound problems at the beginning, then I was in the last Star Wars film shown in 3D, which didn't work properly. They then offered it in 2D, so I left and waived the ticket price. I wonder if none of the screening staff notice that at Kraven the entire film was digitally processed incorrectly around 15 to 20 times and I pay quite a bit of money in this cinema, it cost €13 and then I expect it too that everything is actually fine, if I only paid €11.50 I wouldn't be able to get in... so 100% money 100% film enjoyment, but unfortunately that's not always the case in this cinema and with this frequency I find that now also a deficiency.

Cinema is good, but the queue just to buy a ticket is 15 minutes or more long every time. This is no fun at all.

We couldn't redeem our cinema vouchers because they had to be printed out first. Strangely enough, the cinema didn't have a printer anywhere.

Nice interior, nice staff. It was a very nice experience, the popcorn was delicious and the toilets were super clean. The only thing that annoyed me is that with the 3D glasses the edges were a bit blurry (at one point in Venom the Last Dance I thought there would be 8 people coming out of the helicopter, but there were only 6. Still very good cinema

Unfortunately no recommendation. After the young man at the counter had checked our tickets and sold us snacks and drinks, he wanted to check my backpack for "food and drinks that he had brought with him", so in all seriousness he wanted to do a bag check. That's probably the instruction. I decided to put my backpack in the locker and will definitely avoid visiting this cinema again in the future.

After many years we were back in the Landau film world yesterday; in Cinema 4 for the film "Horizon". Unfortunately, the picture and sound quality disappointed me and the joy of a visual spectacle was quickly over. Annoying, because for a whopping €16 you can get it much better elsewhere. Positive: the possibility of booking couple seats.

Popcorn is more than just disappointing! Didn't want to go out during the performance to complain about the super crunchy popcorn. Unfortunately, this was my downfall. After the performance, I spoke to an employee about it and wanted to complain about my full bag. The statement I received was that I should have done this during the performance and not afterwards. The employee also emphasized that I would have received fresh popcorn from the chutes. I found the statement quite unprofessional, as it confirmed to me that the popcorn had probably been sitting around in the bag for a while. Absolutely disappointing as I received zero accommodation. Not even a small apology or insight. I won't be getting any more snacks in the future.

Actually good cinema. The seats could be cleaned again and the option to pay with VISA would make a lot of sense in 2024 since “EC” will soon no longer be available. 😉

Good cinema with reasonable prices, but no IMAX if that's important to you

Nice cinema with a large selection of films. Unfortunately, the snack offerings are very limited compared to other cinemas. The snacks themselves are good, the popcorn is available both sweet and salty. There are 4 different sauces for the nachchos but you can choose a maximum of 3. There are also other snacks like M&M's. Otherwise you can't complain about the cinema and the connection is relatively close to the A65, making it an easily accessible place.

Definitely the last time there today. Our friend booked online tickets for herself and a total of 4 children. My daughter didn't make it to the carpool on time because of an orthodontist appointment. Wanted to cancel the ticket or rebook it for the next time 2 hours later. Experienced absolute rudeness from the two ladies on the phone. No concession at all, none solution-oriented behavior. I would have to buy tickets again if I wanted to go to the next performance. Something about incompetent and unfriendly, appreciated by a woman 30 years younger than me, that doesn't work at all. I had to leave my daughter behind in a hurry under extreme stress. We live quite a distance away. Fuel process pollutes the environment. Unfortunately, Kino Landau doesn't earn anything from us anymore. Train staff better in dealing with paying guests.

Hello The other day when I was watching my film PawPatrol in the cinema I noticed a few things, the first thing was that there was a strange light at the back of the hall the whole time, the advertising was on for 3 minutes longer than it should be, the film wall is dusty because I was wearing my glasses that day I forgot I had to stand at the front to see better that's why I stood on the stage the people were shouting Diger and NPICI I thought it was strange and then asked a young person what that meant he said your mother then I went to the next one he said it was called Diger you're nice NPICI they said that means poor grandpa, I thought that was nice. And in the end there was a splinter of glass in my popcorn it was delicious then I suddenly had to go to the hospital I have no idea why 2 stars

I still enjoy going, but the seats could be more comfortable.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience today. Spontaneous decision to go to the cinema with the children, departure from Bergzabern and on the way around 3 p.m. the failed attempt to book online tickets. Well, at 3:18 p.m. we were standing in line with at least 50 other people and working our way meter by meter to the checkout. There were 2 cash registers open with so many people. Bought tickets, drinks too, full price even though the film had already been running for 20 minutes. Today it was anything but professional in terms of service and prices.

Unfortunately, the film that I wanted to watch with friends today was apparently taken off the program at short notice, about 2 hours before the start of the screening, after it had been there for weeks. It's a shame, the film is only showing today exclusively and unfortunately we can't make it to another cinema anymore.

I've been going to your cinema for years. But the fact that you don't have a separate ticket office lately but that you have 3 young people scanning the tickets is amazing... We were there 15 minutes before the film started, but we actually had tickets but had to wait in line for popcorn. The poor guy was totally overwhelmed and when we finally got into the hall the film was already playing... Thank you very much...

Was in room 3 in Dune Part II The sound was very good. Unfortunately, the image quality was not perfect. In bright scenes, image noise or grit could be seen throughout. Was it the laser projector or the screen? It's a shame because it was a very bright, high-contrast image, but unfortunately it had the projection errors listed above throughout

I really like the cinema and I like going there. The staff is very friendly and the cinema halls are always very clean.

We were only in the restaurant, it was packed and all the remaining seats were reserved. The friendly boss made it possible to get a place after all. Kinosaal sehr kalt und ich bin normalerweise nicht der verfrorene Typ. Personal hilflos überfordert,da unterbesetzt und dazu unfreundlich. Wir wurden nicht begrüßt, beide Mitarbeiterinnen waren im Stress,obwohl hinter uns noch kaum Menschen warteten. Diejenige,die uns die Karten verkaufte, scharrte bereits nach 20 Sekunden mit den Hufen,weil wir 20 Sekunden für die Platzwahl am Bildschirm brauchten. Die selben 2 Mitarbeiterinnen waren für Snackverkauf,Kartenverkauf und Kartenkontrolle zuständig,was schlicht nicht händelbar ist. Man muss in der zugigen Halle warten,bis der jeweilige Saal bereit ist - nicht sehr gemütlich. Mit dem Hinweis,dass das Popcorn viel zu salzig war,wurde nicht gut umgegangen. Bei den gängigen Preisen,ist es sehr ärgerlich,wenn man die Sachen dann nicht essen kann. Das das mal passieren kann,ist klar.Aber eine Entschuldigung und kleine Entschädigung wäre nett gewesen,wenn man nett drauf hinweist. Stattdessen war der Mitarbeiter lustlos und begann eine Unterhaltung mit der Kollegin. Ein auf Wiedersehen erhielten wir nicht. Film- und Tonqualität sehr gut. Preise kinoüblich.

Es war zum wiederholten Mal einfach super kalt im Kino. Das anscheinend unterbesetzte Personal war extrem überfordert sowie unfreundlich und das salzige Popcorn war so unfassbar salzig, dass es ungenießbar war. Auch als ich es nach dem Film ansprach ging man leider null drauf ein und das war's... Wirklich schade...

Bin früher gerne ins Kino gegangen. Was mich an der Filmwelt total nervt ist die Klimaanlage. Im Winter zu warm, im Sommer zu kalt. Ansonsten sind besonders die großen Kinosäle immer ein Erlebnis.

Das Kino ist Ok, aktuelles Filmangebot, kostenlos parken... Prima! ABER: bei telefonischer Karten Bestellung auf keinen Fall Kreditkartendaten durchgeben. Wenn diese in die falschen Hände kommen, kann der Nutzer damit wunderbar einkaufen... 😊

Heute Nachmittag eine schöne Zeit mit den Enkelkindern im Kino, mit einer rissen Großen Tüte Popcorn und Zitronentee, verbracht. Die kleine war das erste mal im Kino, Sie wollte unbedingt „Lassie – Ein neues Abenteuer“ sehen und gleich erwähnt, wann gehen wir wieder ins Kino, es war sehr schön.

Ob mit Kindern, Familie oder Freunde, die Filmwelt Landau lohnt immer. Klar, ist nicht mehr so günstig wie früher aber die Erfahrung ein Film gemeinsam mit anderen Enthusiasten zu sehen, den Sound zu erleben ist eine Erfahrung wert. Nachos, Popcorn mit einem Getränk gehören einfach dazu! Gut finde ich über die Auswahl der Filme, sodass jeder auf seine Kosten kommen kann. Vor oder nach einer Aufführung kann in D-tox was essen oder trinken, interessante Menschen sehen und ggf kennenlernen... Klasse Kombi

Leider ist mir schon zum zweiten Mal passiert, dass ich in diesem schönen Kino war, aber kein Trailer-Vorspann vor dem Hauptfilm war. Das finde ich sehr schade. Deshalb nur 3 von 5 Sternen

An sich ist das Kino immer super gewesen aber bei einem Kinderfilm wie Paw Patrol um die 20 Minuten Werbung rein zu machen ist zu viel, für Kinder ist das die Hölle und das hat man Gestern auch im Saal 3 gemerkt. Ihr solltet dies definitiv überdenken und abändern, Kinder haben definitiv nicht die Geduld für so viel Werbung.
