Restaurant Lemon im Kongresshotel am Templiner See in Potsdam

The rum steak was good, and so were the fries. Everything was quite minimalist. The salmon burger with rösti was very marbled. The rösti was inedible. The way it was prepared was also questionable. Burnt and dry around the edges, softer toward the center, but also dry. Either they were thawed too quickly from frozen or prepared in an air fryer. The narrow salmon steak in the wide burger bun made little sense; the taste was only average, and the combination was below average. Fries were supposed to be brought instead of the dried-out rösti, which apparently caused quite a bit of discontent among guests, but they never made it to our table. Overall, the food was far too expensive for the value, the service was average, and the ambiance was good, especially if you can eat on the terrace.

Rarely have we had such a bad meal :( The only excuse is that we arrived relatively late at 9:30 p.m. Appetizer: Country bread and dips: Here we got two slices of dark bread and two hard baguette slices with dips. Cost €9. We complained about the hard baguette and were given more dark bread and a freshly sliced baguette. The dips were okay, but not a hit. Then we ordered the chicken roulade for €23.90 and the salmon burger for €23.90. The chicken roulade was dry, the polenta and sauce watery, bland, and simply unloving. The burger was okay, but unfortunately the rösti was burnt. Price/performance was a no-go, and we simply felt ripped off. Service was nice. At the beginning, we had to ask the bartender because the waiter didn't come. But the service didn't match the price either. A restaurant in such a hotel is a real shame.

Lennart Scharkoff is by far the best waiter I have had the pleasure of experiencing in a long time. I wish him all the best for the future.

An interestingly designed restaurant in a former industrial building. The menu is somewhat limited, but the lamb ragout was decent, and the service was very attentive and friendly.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and ate at Lemon on the first evening, simply because it was more convenient than heading out again. We got a table shortly after 9:00. The kitchen is open until 10:00, and we were taken through the evening without any rush. The service is excellent. The staff are all very motivated, friendly, and open, yet professional. We were really impressed by the seasonal menu, which, of course, featured asparagus and wild garlic. We had pasta and risotto, and with both dishes, you could tell that the menu was created by very creative people, as the execution was very surprising both visually and taste-wise. To finish, we had a crème brûlée cheesecake with ice cream. Here, too, the kitchen surprised us, delivering a rather expected dish in a very appealing way. Of course, the prices aren't exactly cheap, especially since it's a hotel restaurant. But we managed to get away with about €90 for a starter and dessert to share, main courses, a bottle of water, and two glasses of wine each. That's still fair for the service. I struggle with giving it 5 stars because it always seems a bit rash and excessive. But I simply can't think of anything that couldn't have been right about the evening, and both the food and service definitely deserve the rating.

Incredibly delicious food. Many thanks to the kitchen crew. Service was equally pleasant. Attentive and friendly. It couldn't be better. Even in Potsdam, there are still people who clearly enjoy their job. 👏🏻 The only criticism is the online reservation system. After confirming receipt of the request, there is no response. Upon inquiry, the restaurant was aware of the reservation. But without confirmation, no guests arrive. It was also not possible to find out the status of the request by phone. What a pity for the energy of this great team. This restaurant is highly recommended, especially considering the value for money.

There were two of us guests. It was my first time at the restaurant. The seating inside and outside is very comfortable. Even when it was full, it wasn't noisy. There is a small but fine selection of dishes, which were impressive both visually and taste-wise. I would like to specifically highlight the service. We were served by Ms. Lauf. Although the restaurant was very full, we never had to wait long. Ms. Lauf served us very attentively and friendly and gave us advice on the food. This attentive service contributed significantly to the success of the evening.

Food was ok, staff friendly and polite, unfortunately it was very loud in the restaurant.

The breakfast is rich, I had breakfast between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The scrambled eggs had been in the warming pan for too long, so that they are dark yellow and dry at the top and edges. The egg tarts were cold in return. There is no Christmas atmosphere at all and it seems cold. The food in the evening is good but not consistent. The dips and salads contain a lot of additives, it's a shame I used fresh products.

Restaurant review: The restaurant offered a tasty beef steak accompanied by chanterelles and triplets. Although the mushrooms could have used a little less butter and the potatoes were slightly too firm, the overall experience at the table was very satisfying. The design of the upscale ambience was somewhat reminiscent of a school canteen, but was implemented creatively and stylishly. The waitress was extremely friendly, although a small adjustment in personal hygiene could have improved her otherwise excellent service. The price level matches the quality offered. A visit is recommended!

I cant evaluate the food as we where never given a seat. However I dont recall more arrogant waiters and I have been at many restaurants. I approached 6 waiters before anyone cared to talk to us. We had no reservation, however many empty tabels so we should have been good. But no. Maybe because we where not germans. At least the next family were give a table without reservation.

Ich war mit einer guten Freundin zum Abendessen hier und später noch zum Cocktailtrinken an der Lobbybar. Das Essen war sehr lecker, sehr hübsch angerichtet und der Service von Frau Lauf super. Später an der Lobbybar wurden wir vom Barchef Sven toll beraten- bezüglich verschiedener Ginsorten und "passendem sonstigem dazu". Schmeckte uns sehr gut und auch hier war das Servicepersonal sehr aufmerksam.

Comfortable restaurant and friendly servers but absolutely terrible food at ripoff prices. Dishes are really poorly conceived. They try to do too much with each dish and make a mess. My dish had 7 different elements that were unpleasant tasting individually and didn't go together either. I wonder if the chef ever tasted the dishes or they just wrote things down that they thought looked fancy then didn't give it a second thought. Very overpriced too. I literally couldn't eat my meal.

Gehobene Speisen - angemessen. Der Gruß aus der Küche wäre wünschenswert gewesen. War in der Vergangenheit auch immer so, leider dieses mal nicht. Service von Chrystyna war super!

Zu erst einmal zum positiven, der Service vom Personal, explizit von Oksana war ausgezeichnet. Das Essen, der Burger und die Ravioli waren "okay" mehr aber auch nicht. Mittelmäßig warm, geschmacklich Spielraum nach oben. Der Burger Patty war ziemlich tot gebraten und lieblos, die Ravioli schmeckten wie aus dem Kühlregal. Das Bier war kalt und gut. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, viele Plätze im Außenbereich, schöne Grünanlage. Die Reservierung hat Online leider nicht geklappt. Das Essen ist preislich schon am oberen Ende, für die Qualität nicht gerechtfertigt.

Sehr Teuer… Rumpsteak leider keine Frage nach „durch“ oder „medium“… schade

Restaurant am Templiner See mit schönem Aussenbereich, sehr aufmerksames Personal, leckeres Essen mit frischen Zutaten, angemessen günstiges Preisniveau. Empfehlenswert.

After a little hiccup with our table we had a great and lovely service. We got a english menu offered and the lady who served us did speak well English too. Food came rather quick out so I hope it wasn't warmed up from the day before...but it was served well and did taste fresh. So it's a friendly, professional, clean and fast service in the early evening hours plus a nice presentation of a tasty food.

Sehr gute Wildgerichte, dazu selbstgebrautes BIO Bier, selbst einfache Gerichte sind lecker. Besonders die Bierauswahl, da kann man schon mal länger bleiben

Ich bestell sonst nie Nudeln, aber das hat sich gelohnt, richtig viel Fleisch und eine perfekte Schärfe bei den Nudeln mit Rinderstreifen.

Das Essen war richtig lecker,ich fand auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ok. Für die gute Qualität ist der Preis in Ordnung. Vorher gab es noch einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche mit Baguette,Aufstrich und Öl. Auch das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend.

2x Frühstück = 2x ein gelungener Start in den Tag. Das Angebot war sehr umfangreich und vor allem sehr schmackhaft. Die angebotenen Ei-Variationen waren ein Genuss.

Wir haben dort zwar "nur" unser Frühstück eingenommen, aber das Buffet war reichhaltig und alle Speisen frisch und lecker.

Beim Frühstücksbuffet gibt es aus meiner Sicht alles was man braucht; positiv ist für mich auch immer ein frisch angemachter Obstsalat. Kaffeeautomat für spezielle Kaffeezubereitungen vorhanden, ansonsten Kaffee am Tisch. Viele Brot- und Brötchensorten. Abendessen a la carte; sehr gute Qualität und Portionsgröße

Wir waren zu einem Abendessen im Restaurant gewesen und waren sehr enttäuscht. Als erstes wurde uns gesagt das das Essen was wir uns ausgesucht hatten nicht mehr da wäre. Als zweites war dann das Essen was kam nicht genießbar, es war mit einer Soße ertränkt und diese war reines Fertigpulver gewesen. Geschmackliche Katastrophe. Nach einer Beschwerde sagte man uns das es eine frische Soße wäre und wir aber wenn wir möchten ein neues Gericht oder ein Dessert haben könnten. Da uns der Appetit vergangen war lehnten wir danken ab, zahlten und gingen.

Wir haben die Nacht mit unserer Hochzeitsgesellschaft im Kongresshotel Potsdam verbracht. Alle Gäste wurden von uns zum Frühstück eingeladen. Wie waren sehr positiv beeindruckt vom aufmerksamen Service Personal und dem überaus leckeren Essen. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke ist reichlich. Wir werden zum Sonntagsbrunch mit Freunden und Familie gerne wiederkommen, um uns auch von diesem Angebot überzeugen zu lassen.

Das Restaurant Lemon befindet sich im Kongress-Hotel Potsdam. Besucht wird es offenbar in erster Linie von Hotelgästen, von denen einige im Rahmen der Halbpension ein besonderes Menü erhalten. Die Speisekarte ist vielversprechend und auch der Raum und die Einrichtung sind in Ordnung. Obwohl sehr viel Personal herumstand, dauerte es eine ganze Weile, bis jemand die Bestellung aufnahm. Das Essen wurde an den falschen Tisch gebracht, kam nicht für alle gleichzeitig und das Personal war nicht aufeinander eingespielt. Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, von den Portionen her aber eher übersichtlich. Zum Schluss wurde auch noch die Rechnung vertauscht. Fazit: nicht wieder!

Ich war Hotelgast für eine Woche. Das tägliche Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und von guter Qualität. Sehr feines Nachtessen. Freundliches Personal.

Marktsalat mit Rinderstreifen, Matjes auf Pumpernickel und wunderschön angerichtete Käseauswahl als Nachspeise. Alles die Erwartungshaltung übertreffend. Öffentlich zugängliches Restaurant in einem ☆☆☆☆ Kongresshotel direkt am Templiner See. Das Restaurant fügt sich ein in einen grossen Hotelkomplex. Je nach Auslastung und stattfindenden Veranstaltungen ist eine frühzeitige Reservierung zu empfehlen. Sehr schön angerichtete Tische auch im Aussenbereich. Der Service ist überwiegend herausragend, aber etwas Personenabhängig. Das Gesamtpaket ist sehr gut. Herausragend ist es nicht, aber vielleicht ist das auch kein angemessener Anspruch für ein Restaurant das überwiegend Hotelgäste bewirtet. Als Hotel-Restaurant ist es nahe an hervorragend.

Mehrfach schon verschiedene Speisen gegessen. Das Ambiente ist kühl, originell und edel. Die Tische sind edel und sehr anspechend eingedeckt. Herausragend ist der Service. Wegen der guten Qualität ist das Preisniveaus noch angemessen Die Lage am Templiner See und die Verkehrsanbindung sind einmalig.

Schönes Restaurant, das Essen war sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem hervorzuheben ist Frau Birgit ...?.

This hotel is about 8 tram stops from the area of town with restaurant. As such one would expect it to be poor value and poor quality. It wasn't; it had a good range of food in pleasant if a little stark surrounding.
