Very good food, great ambience with a view of the market (seat by the window) and very friendly staff.

If you don't know it, you're missing out. You have to know exactly what you're looking for, otherwise you'll quickly overlook the well-hidden restaurant on Weimarer Markt. But once you find it and try it out, you'll definitely come back. From the first "hello" to the last bite it was wonderful. A beautiful, culinary exceptional and extremely delicious evening - thank you for that! And the hot tip for everyone else: MUST TRY IT OUT...

An excellent restaurant with a chef who knows how to prepare authentic and delicious African food. The menu is deliberately kept small and this affects the quality of the dishes on offer. The young waitress is very warm, attentive and simply exudes a positive aura. We felt very comfortable :)

Nice restaurant with freshly interpreted African cuisine and delicious cocktails. The entrance is a bit inconspicuous and at first you think you are walking into a somewhat messy apartment building. But you can also sit outside on the square. There is also a small terrace upstairs in the backyard. The dishes are mostly vegan, but you can order beef, chicken thighs or fish. The avocado mango salad is also very interesting. The cocktails are not the classic ones, but rather unusual creations. Nice staff too. Successful dinner.

Really good food, suitable for vegans!

The food was amazing. I really liked the Mafe Tiga. The portion was exactly right and it tasted amazing. Service was great. You could feel the people enjoy working together as a team. They have great Energy and make you feel very welcome. The Restaurant is located right in the city’s heart. But somehow it is this small oasis where you can take a small break from the rush.

A very special experience! From finding the hidden gem to the hip atmosphere and the magical service to the delicious drinks and food, everything was perfect. Not mainstream at all and totally recommended! Thank you very much :D

First of all, the new service staff is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food didn't entirely convince me. It was delicious, but also cooked very softly. I was looking forward to, among other things, crunchy okra pods and, like the rest of the dish, they were cooked very mushy. Because of the eggplant, it wasn't very visually appealing. The rice was also cooked too soft. Is this type of preparation so typical? We had two vegan dishes, with Akara. I was a little disappointed that each of us only had four very, very small akara balls on our plates.

The restaurant was difficult to find because it has a "normal" entrance and is on the first floor. Price performance is great and in summer there is also seating outside. Very nice and personal service.

Once you have found the entrance, you will receive a very friendly welcome and enjoy a new, excellent taste experience. Fair prices. We would be happy to come back 😋

Unfortunately we were disappointed in this restaurant. 45min. Waiting time before the food was served, even though we were the only hungry guests when we ordered. Unfortunately, the plates were ice cold, which meant the food wasn't really warm. One meal was not as stated on the menu🙁. Since we were very hungry, we just accepted it and didn't say anything.

Very, very nice service, we felt incredibly comfortable, the food was very tasty, the price was right, we will definitely come back! It's also a great opportunity to eat there before a concert in the C Keller.

Very hidden, you go through an entrance door that you don't think is the entrance. There is also little smell of food, as is sometimes the case in restaurants. Even from the outside it is inconspicuous and cannot be recognized at first glance. Inside you first have to go up a flight of stairs and there are two entrances there too. The rooms are connected. There is a gallery, so to speak, where a few pictures are exhibited and you can sit anywhere. The cozy atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is relaxed and willing to explain everything and took a lot of time. It wasn't full at the time we were there. The food was very good and definitely worth a look in the inconspicuous corner.

We followed the euphoric Google recommendations. Nice shop on the 1st floor directly at the market, tables partly with a view of the market and also in a kind of open Immenhof. The service was very friendly, the menu was manageable, but the food was unusual and very tasty. The size of the starters seemed a bit too small in relation to the price. All in all, an exciting alternative to the usual restaurants.

Achtung: Restaurant ist im erster Etage versteckt und Freisitz unten ist schon das benachbarte Lokal. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und hatten einen grandiosen Ausblick über den wunderschönen Marktplatz. Vorspeise Mango-Avocado Salat mit hauseigener Vinigrette und zwei sehr leckere Hauptspeisen, deren Bestandteile ich nicht wiedergeben kann. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Erfahrung und sicher ein abwechslungsreicher Geheimtipp in Weimar. Zu zweit mit Wein und Nachspeise knapp über 50€ ist mehr als fair. Unbedingt wieder!

A hidden gem in the center of Weimar! The restaurant offers a selection of West African food, cooked to excellence! If you're a fan of Poulet Yassa, Mafé or other dishes from Senegal this is the place to be! And the best thing: all options are available in a veggie option too!

Fünf Sterne für sehr leckeres und günstiges Essen. Frisch gemacht, mit veganen und vegetarischen Optionen. Im Winter war es etwas kalt und ungemütlich zum Sitzen, lohnt sich für ein schnelles Essen aber trotzdem.

Das Essen ist mega lecker! Man bekommt auch sehr leckeren veganen Gerichten.

Es ist einfach nur Klasse! Super nette Menschen, extrem leckeres Essen..Mal was anderes und nicht asiatisch. Es gibt eine kleine Karte, was perfekt ist. Es gibt alle Hauptgerichte in vegan, mit Rind oder Hühnchen. Für wirklich jeden etwas dabei und die Qualität der Speisen ist auch wunderbar. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Ist wohl ein Geheimtipp in Weimar. Ein wenig schwer zu finden! Aber die Suche lohnt! Im einem gemütlichen Ambiente mit Blick auf den Marktplatz gibt es wirklich leckeres afrikanisches essen. Unglaubliche Kombinationen mit Früchten und Gewürzen! Jedes Gericht auch in Veganer Variante verfügbar! Super freundliches Personal und Service runden das Ganze ab! Wir kommen wieder!

Das Restaurant ist ein guter Geheimtipp. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und man fühlt sich in den Räumlichkeiten sofort wohl. Die Karte bietet selbstgekochtes, frisches Westafrikanisches Essen. Wir hatten einen Mango Avocado Salat und dazu jeder eine Hauptspeise. Wir fanden alles super gut. Die Portionen sind ausreichend und wirklich lecker. Man muss am Markt eine Treppe nach oben gehen - also etwas versteckt aber es lohnt sich! Wir kommen wieder!
