Sehr freundliches Personal, obwohl wir nicht dieselbe Sprache sprachen. Essen und Service waren hervorragend. Wir kommen morgen Abend wieder, wir sind zu acht.

Vor über dreißig Jahren besuchte ich meine Mutter in den Schulferien in Hameln. Eine unserer schönsten Erinnerungen ist, wie wir uns immer wieder italienische Pasta teilten, weil wir uns nie für eine Sorte entscheiden konnten. Heute waren wir beide wieder in Hameln, und La Fortuna hat diese Erinnerung wieder aufleben lassen. Allein das war schon etwas Besonderes. Carmelina und Francesco, das unglaublich charmante Paar, das dieses wunderschöne Restaurant führt, haben den Moment zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Es ist erstaunlich, wie sie ihre Leidenschaft und herzliche Gastfreundschaft über all die Jahrzehnte bewahrt haben. Jetzt, auf dem Heimweg, nach über sechs Stunden Zugfahrt für eine Reise in die Vergangenheit und ein köstliches Pastagericht, kann ich nur sagen: Es hat sich absolut gelohnt. Grazie di cuore per aver reso questo ricordo ancora più bello. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Erinnerung. Ihr seid großartig!

Kleines, feines italienisches Restaurant im Herzen von Hameln. Chef und Chefin bedienen selbst, was dem Lokal eine familiäre Atmosphäre gibt. Die Speisen sind geschmacklich auf den Punkt zubereitet. Großes Lob! Tischreservierung unbedingt erforderlich!

Ein wundervolles Lokal mit besonderem Charme. Die alten Balken und das historische Ambiente versetzen einen fast in eine andere Zeit – richtig gemütlich. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wunderbar aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Bedienung war super nett, aufmerksam und es herrschte eine angenehm familiäre Atmosphäre. Auch das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Seit vielen Jahren waren wir heute wieder einmal im La Fontana in Hameln zum Mittagessen. Mittagessen kann man es gar nicht nennen, es war ein zelebrieren reinster Gaumenfreuden. Kein Restsurantbesuch in den letzten Jahren, der gehobenen Kategorie, reicht an das La Fontana heran. Beginnend mit dem liebevollen, zuvorkommenden Service, über das Ambiente zu den delikaten geschmacklich erstklassig fein abgestimmten Speisen. Wir waren mehr als begeistert und haben unser neues Lieblingsrestaurant gefunden. 😀

Wir waren mittlerweile zum 2.mal ohne Anmeldung in dieses Lokal gekommen und wurden jedesmal freundlich begrüßt und auch bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wurde frisch zubereitet. Ein nettes Lokal mit nettem Service und dazu noch bezahlbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Im La Fontana wird seit Jahrzehnten Gastronomie auf höchstem Niveau gelebt. Dieser Familienbetrieb sucht wirklich seinesgleichen. Hier wird ein Gast nicht einfach bedient, sondern zu einem Freund gemacht – und genau das ist echte Gastfreundschaft. Egal ob im Service oder in der Küche: Man begegnet ausschließlich Familienmitgliedern, und genau so fühlt es sich auch an – herzlich, vertraut und ehrlich willkommen. Ein Ort mit Geschichte, Charakter und ganz viel Herz.

Sehr netter ursprünglicher Italiener in einem gemütlichem Fachwerkhaus. Sehr leckere Nudelgerichte. Gerne wieder!

Wir waren mit mehreren Leuten am letzten Wochenende im La Fontana und waren sehr enttäuscht. Besonders gestört hat uns die lange Wartezeit auf das Essen (2 Stunden),wodurch der gesamte Aufenthalt ziemlich anstrengend wurde. Leider gab es ansonsten keinen Aspekt,der uns überzeugen konnte.

By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at! My baked tortellini with Gorgonzola sauce was a dream, the atmosphere in the beer garden was very cozy, and the service was absolutely fantastic. I'd go back anytime!

I stopped here for a planned break on the way to Hanover. Finally, some authentic Italian cuisine. The minestrone was hearty and very tasty. The veal in Marsala sauce was just what I'm used to from southern Italy and of good quality. The interior is a bit dated, as you'd expect from a half-timbered building that's certainly a listed monument. However, the tables are very lovingly set, and everything was very clean. The parking situation, which has been criticized several times, is in the eye of the beholder. I parked for free in a spacious parking lot just a 5-minute walk away with my electric car.

On March 15, 2025, we visited Hameln again after two years and took the opportunity to visit the La Fontana restaurant. On our first visit we had a very friendly conversation with the owner "for dessert". The food two years ago was simply fantastic and we couldn't find a comparable dish at home in Kiel. When we visited again we were greeted very friendly and even recognized. Incredible and very attentive. Our food selection: 30. Linguine al pesto with delicious basil sauce 37. Penne al l'Arrabiata Both dishes are incredibly tasty and the portions are enough to fill you up. We even got the rest of the one dish we didn't make, lovingly packaged, to take home with us. A really great service. When we are in Hameln, a visit to this great pizzeria is a must. Absolutely recommended!!! Best regards and see you again in Hameln.

We were satisfied with the food and the service. When I happened to take a look at the receipt at home because the amount seemed a bit high to me, I almost fell behind: 4 x 0.5l apple spritzers for 8 euros each makes 32 euros. Unfortunately that doesn't work at all. Especially not in Hamelin. We eat out regularly but won't come here again!

The food was very tasty. The portions are rather smaller. The atmosphere is still like it was years ago. Maybe it could use an update. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not consistent for all dishes. The desserts are extremely expensive.

The best Italian in Hamelin. Very good cuisine, we come regularly, yesterday there was salad Nice - with garlic pizza, then fillet steak with green pepper and fillet steak with Gorgonzola sauce as a side dish, potato wedges, broccoli, beans, carrots, zucini really very good. Of course it takes longer if the restaurant and terrace are full, but if you don't have patience or time you shouldn't go out to eat. Price performance is top there is nothing to complain about.

Very tasty, authentic Italian food. Had a mixed salad that was very well seasoned, with spaghetti aglio e olio that had the perfect spiciness. Everything in a cozy atmosphere and with perfect service. Highly recommended.

Gastvrije vriendelijke eigenaars (vorig jaar werkten ze hier 50 jaar!) Heerlijk gegeten, twee keer deze week! Ook de wijn is voortreffelijk Goede kaart met veel keuze. Aanrader!

We actually wanted to go to another restaurant, but since this one was on vacation, we decided on dinner at La Fontana based on the attractive website and the seemingly upscale menu. From the first step into the restaurant, we weren't sure if we were in "Do You Understand Fun?" or if Loriot was directing a bit. It's hard to sum it up in a few sentences. The ambience is old-fashioned and worn, uninviting or appealing at all. The service is either clueless and overwhelmed, or, when the manager comes to the table, rude, demanding, and accusatory to the point of being grumpy. The dishes are significantly overpriced. I ordered squid, the manager said it would come with potatoes. Instead, I got a very poor mixed salad, bread only upon request, and the potatoes were then shoved onto my plate by the manager afterward. The prices were quite steep and, for what was offered, an absolute "no go." Added to that was the constant yelling coming from the kitchen, where all the employees were regularly scolded... They'll never see us again. We're glad we got out of there without whiplash, despite shaking our heads so much.

First of all the ambience was very chic old and yet modern. We sat comfortably outside in the backyard, protected by white walls. 2 palm trees and a fountain in the middle offer a beautiful sight for the eye. The food was delivered relatively quickly and was definitely something to please the palate as well as the eye! Unfortunately, when ordering, no one asked how the meat should be cooked. It was brought to everyone very pink/bloody (which is what I would have wanted). It was extremely tender, very delicious, perfectly seasoned and the Gorgonzola sauce was just great. As a side dish there were 3 large strips of rosemary potatoes with lots of grilled vegetables which rounded off the meal! Overall just perfect... except for the price it may not be for everyone but it's worth it.

Had dinner there today and the bruschetta was wonderful. Afterwards the carbonara was fabulous, it wasn't over-seasoned or under-seasoned. The service was also super nice. The terrace was a botanical dream. The ambience was like in Italy. I can only recommend it

The three of us were there spontaneously today. All three of us were incredibly excited. Very friendly staff. Great recommendations if you weren't sure what exactly you wanted to eat. We had called before because we were a little late and this wasn't a problem either. When we arrived we wanted to go outside, that wasn't a problem either and everything was prepared. The waiting time was very short, the food was impressive in terms of taste and appearance. You really noticed that a lot of things were done by yourself. The payment process was unproblematic and we had a nice chat with the owner. A great end to the evening and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

We had reserved for 9 people, but there were only 6 people because 3 people canceled 1 hour in advance due to a bereavement and an acute illness. The owner was very angry and made this known several times with inappropriate comments. After the meal, before dessert, we were asked to sit together at a table. Since this would have been very close, we declined, but made it clear that we would move together if the table was needed. At that time the restaurant was only sparsely occupied. So there was no reason for us to move together. The pasta was dry and far too expensive for the portions that were served. Cashing in was quick and grumpy. Unfortunately, the restaurant, which used to be good, has fallen into disrepair. We certainly won't come again and can't recommend it as there are many other restaurants that are far better.

I was very disappointed, had a noodle package for two people. I'm imagining something other than 1 handful of pasta with cheese sauce, 1 handful of pasta with spinach sauce and 10 baked ravioli, with 4 wilted rocket leaves on the edge and the whole thing for 32 euros, we would then have to wait an hour for it. I can't recommend it!

I was very disappointed. There were long waiting times at first. The portions are too small for the price and not well seasoned. When it comes to a pasta plate for 2 people, I imagine something other than 10 ravioli, around 30 gnocci in herb sauce and a few spoonfuls of penne baked with cheese, a few wilted leaves of rocket on the edge and all for 32 euros. Thanks, I can't recommend that.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Italian restaurant. I can imagine that the Italian restaurant used to be good but is now run heartlessly. The employees seem overwhelmed and chaotic. We had to wait an hour for our drinks and 1.50 hours for our food and there wasn't even an apology but rather an accusation that we should order the food beforehand if there were 10 of us coming (we had reserved). I can't recommend the starter plate because it was cold, carelessly prepared antipasti that tasted tasteless and like it came from the supermarket. The main courses were delicious but nothing special, only the pizza was really sad. An Italian is not allowed to offer something like that. The payment then took some time again. We won't come back, it's a shame.

My wife and I recently went to La Fontana for lunch. We ate a pizza tonno, a vegetarian pasta dish with porcini mushrooms and finally there was a tiramisu. All dishes tasted excellent and were fresh. The historic half-timbered structure with an Italian décor creates a cozy, rustic atmosphere in which you can linger longer. We now want to try to come here more regularly to get to know the other dishes :)

Unfortunately I can't understand the good recessions. Long waiting times, small portions and shouting from the kitchen. Tables outside not wiped down, chairs also dusty. The salad was supposed to be with yogurt dressing, but there was already vinegar and oil underneath.

Wir hatten mit der Familie für 18 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Dass der Inhaber die Apfelschorle beim Bedienen halb über meinen Mann kippte kann passieren. Der Ausspruch, dass es ja nur Wasser sei, war dann aber irgendwie schon befremdlich. Als unser Essen kam, müssten wir feststellen, dass die Pizza meines Schwiegersohnes nicht die richtige war. Ok, auch das kann passieren. Das aber die Bedienung ( die Inhaberin?) dann in der Küche rumgebrüllt hat, weil die Pizza nicht die Bestellte war, war schon mehr als befremdlich. Aber die Krönung des ganzen war, dass man uns um 19.15 Uhr aufgefordert hat, dass Restaurant zu verlassen, wir hatten noch nicht mal ausgetrunken. Weitere Gäste warteten schon, dass sei natürlich so noch nie passiert, wie uns die Inhaberin persönlich mitteilte. Vielleicht wird man in diesem Restaurant als Stammgast ja besser behandelt, aber wir werden diesen Laden definitiv nie wieder betreten.

Despite registering, a bumpy start (at 12 noon). Service a bit uncoordinated but nice. Nice atmosphere. My pizza Siciliana was tasty but was a bit lacking in temperature.

We have been going there on and off for many years and have never been disappointed with the food and service. In autumn 2023 we registered with 10 people (family reunions / pensioners) and sent our dining requests by email two days in advance. We were all served very different dishes to the point and even the particularly critical eaters among us (formerly in senior positions at Lufthansa and Oetker) were extremely satisfied with the quality and the price/performance ratio.

Leckeres (von einem echten Koch zubereitetes) Essen. Zutaten frisch und qualitativ hochwertig. Service sehr familiär und zuvorkommend und es wurde auf Extrawünsche eingegangen. Wir hatten einen schönen gemütlichen Abend, alle Gäste waren zufrieden. Bis bald, wir kommen wieder.

Ein toller Italiener mit fantastischer Karte und wirklich authentischer Küche. Solide Weinkarte, die Seltenheiten wie Roero Arneis enthält, aber auch die Hausweine (Chianti, Montepulciano) sind äußerst lecker. Guter Service und angenehmes Ambiente. Gerne wieder.

Nach unseren Italienurlauben waren wir auf der Suche nach einem ECHTEN italienischen Restaurant. Bei einem Altstadtbummel fiel uns dieses, etwas unscheinbare, Restaurant anhand der Olivenbäume in's Auge. Ein paar Wochen später nahmen wir uns dann die Zeit es auszuprobieren ... und siehe da, es gibt sie, ganz wie in Italien ... Die Begrüßung in der Speisekarte fing schon gut an, auf italienisch und dann auf deutsch und so ging es auch auf der Speisekarte weiter. Das könnte klappen, dachten wir uns in dem Moment. Und ja, endlich war es so wie wir es vermisst haben. Ein schönes, gemütliches Ambiente, die Bedienung mit unverwechselbarem italienischen Flair und das Essen geschmacklich wie in Italien, frisch und lecker. Wir können dieses Restaurant an alle Italien-Fans nur empfehlen. Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen und auch hier gilt, die besten Restaurants sind in den Nebengassen zu finden. In diesem Sinne: "Buon appetito"

Habe Gestern eine Carbonara bestellt - die war verkocht- Eier absolut krümelig!!!! Also no-go. Es wurde ohne jeden Kommentar auf den Tisch gestellt! Ich war sehr enttäuscht. Den Salat habe ich ohne Zwiebeln bestellt… das wurde vergessen, die charmante Chefin hat gelächelt und mit den Schultern gezuckt. Naja… war nicht mein Abend. Mein Mann war sehr zufrieden. Sonnst ist da meistens lecker.

Klein und versteckt in einer Altstadtstraße. Gute Küche, nettes Ambiente in einem urigen Fachwerkhaus, durch den Keller kommt man in den netten Innenhof "Terrasse". Definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Waren dort zum Abendessen, mussten aber 1 1/2 Stunden auf eine kalte Vorspeise warten, die auch nur zusammen gestoppelt war. Das folgende Pastagericht kam dann 5 Minuten später, aufgewärmt aus der Mikrowelle. Für Spaghetti carbonara ist dies leider tödlich, nur noch ein zusammen gebackener Nudelberg. Der Geschmack ging sogar, nur war keine "Crema" mehr vorhanden. Schade.

Bester Italiener in HM. Herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre und super leckeres Essen. Aufgrund des knappen Platzes ist es sinnvoll im Vorfeld zu reservieren.

De pizza bodems zijn niet zelf gemaakt hoewel je dit wel zou verwachten. Mijn klacht hierover werd niet serieus genomen. Tijdens het afrekenen werd aangenomen dat het wisselgeld de fooi zou zijn. Mede daarom heb ik er op aangedrongen om mijn wisselgeld te ontvangen. Dit werd mij niet in dank afgenomen.

La Fontana ist schon seit Jahren mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Das Ambiente, die Gemütlichkeit und die zurückhaltende, aber sehr freundliche Art des Besitzers sagen mir ausgesprochen zu :). Hier stimmt einfach alles. Man kann in ruhiger Atmosphäre bei dezenter Musik herrliches Essen genießen. Es ist immer wunderbar angerichtet und duftet sagenhaft. Perfekt ! Das selbst gebackene Brot ist eine Aufmerksamkeit, die das Wohlgefühl vollends abrunden. Ich bin einfach gern dort. Danke, dass es so einen tollen Ort in Hameln gibt ♥️. Wunderbar 🥰 !

Italien in Hameln 😋 Egal ob Pizza, Pasta, Fleisch… hier schmeckt alles authentisch wie in Bella Italia. Wer Hameln besucht und Lust auf bestes italienisches Essen hat, ist hier goldrichtig!

Für mich das beste italienische Restaurant Hamelns. Perfekt abgeschmecktes Essen, außergewöhnlich freundliche und zuvorkommende, sowie herzliche Bedienung und ein Koch der Seinesgleichen sucht. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Lange Wartezeiten, ständige Streitereien in der Küche, bei Beilagenwechsel wurde ohne Information oder Vermerk in der Karte ein Aufschlag kassiert (statt Kartoffeln und Gemüse wurden Spagetti geordert), Nudelgericht mit ein paar extra Garnelen wurde pro Garnele 3,50 Euro ohne vorherige Information berechnet. Achtung bei Sonderwünschen. War sicherlich unser letzter Besuch bei La Fontana!

Das Essen war lecker, bei mir hat es jedoch an Gewürzen gemangelt wobei das Essen meiner Familie eher schon überwürzt war. Es war aber alles sehr frisch und toll zubereitet, besonders die Meeresfrüchte. Die Auswahl an Getränken war nicht besonders toll. Wir hatten vor jedem Gang ziemlich lange Wartezeiten. Das Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant an sich ist schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es sieht eher rustikal aus

Wer gestresste Bewirtung liebt ist hier absolut richtig. Touristen haben gleich verloren, Stammgäste dagegen werden überschwänglich begrüßt und hofiert.Es dauerte eine gewisse Zeit, bis eine Getränkebestellung möglich war. Danach wieder längere Wartezeit.Zusätzliche Eiswürfel zur Kühlung der Getränke ein großes Problem. Vorspeisen Tomatensuppe und Bruschetta waren nicht besonders. Das Hauptgericht (Pizza), verloren auf dem Teller, wurde dann schon in die Vorspeise hinein gereicht und zurück in den Ofen befördert, wo sie dann nach erneutem Transport eine gewisse Bräune und Festigkeit mit gewissen Röstaromen erhalten hatten. Auf einen Nachtisch haben wir verzichtet. Eventuell liegt das Können der Küche eher bei den höherpreisigen Fleischgerichten auf der Karte. bei einem neuen Aufenthalt in Hameln im Winter werden wir vielleicht einen erneuten Versuch im gehobenen Segment starten. Pizza geht woanders jedenfalls besser. Das italienische Temperament in diesem Fall sehr besonders! Ach ja, Kartenzahlung sehr ungern.

Hier geht es ums wesentliche. Die zwei (Inhaber im fortgeschrittenem Alter) lieben ihren Job und das kommt 1:1 rüber. Was in der Küche geleistet wird, rundet das ganze noch perfekt ab. Vitello war sehr lecker, dürfte aber etwas mehr Soße drauf bekommen, Bruschetta war super lecker, die Pizzen top und die Kalbsleber ein Gedicht. Wenn viel los ist muss man etwas mehr Zeit mitbringen, typisch italienische Atmosphäre, ein Glück gibt es das noch neu uns. Weiter so
